Chapter 13 The Only One
"I think that dream would even terrify me. But, we do seriously need to get help. She said she's gonna put a curse on you" Kenickie said."Hey, Kenickie. Can we go out again" Danny asked."Sure we can. Wanna go out, now" Kenickie wondered. Danny nodded. So, Kenickie and Danny went out with the rest of the T-Birds. While sitting outside, somebody Kenickie knew came up to them. He had brown hair, he was wearing a brown leather jacket with a white shirt on. He was an older guy, mid thirties."Hey, kid. Long time no see, huh" the man greeted. Kenickie was surprised to see this man."Tim!" Kenickie cried."You know this man, Kenickie" Putzie wondered."Yeah, he used to be my babysitter when I was a kid" Kenckie explained.
"Oh, yeah. This kid was a trouble maker, when I babysat him. He would stay up late and watch stuff he would not supposed to watch on tv. He would even sneak out when I was sleeping on the couch at night to play outside" Tim told them. Kenickie smirked."I just wanted to have fun. Besides, you were the one I had the chance to do that stuff. I am a bad boy after all". Tim agreed."You got that right. Did you know you could get kidnapped by playing outside at night unsupervised"."But, I didn't, didn't I. I am the expert" Kenickie said."You are when you're with me" Tim added.
Then, Tim saw a sad, tired look on Danny's face."Hey, what's wrong with him?".
"He's been having nightmares about this lady named Lora Banks. But, last night someone else came in his dream who looked even more scary. Pure, white skin. Long black messy hair. She also had black eyes, black mouth, and she's wearing a black dress. She told him that she's gonna put a curse on him" Kenickie answered.
Putzie, Doody and Sonny's mouths hung open in shock."I think I have an answer to solve you're problem" Tim told them. Danny's head snapped up to look at Tim."Really? What is it? Please tell me, I'm desperate" Danny pleaded."What's your name, kid?" Tim asked."Daniel. Daniel Zuko" Danny replied. Tim's eyes widened."No way! The Danny Zuko?! I heard about you! You're the one who's supposed to defeat Lora Banks and her her family so she would never take anyone ever again! It's such an honor to meet you!" Tim exclaimed."Really? How do you know about this?" Danny asked."Well, I used to dream about her too. Then, I found a method to use so I wouldn't have to dream about her anymore. Meditation. That's the key. You gotta meditate to go into deep consciousness of you mind to get rid of her. You all gotta sit in a circle, hum the same note for five minutes to get into his mind. Yes, you all will enter his mind. But, Danny is the only one who can get rid of her" Tim told them.
"How do you know that?" Danny asked."I tried to get rid of her before, but I heard her say to her husband that Danny Zuko is the only one who can get rid of her" Tim said.
"How long ago was that?" Danny asked."About ten years ago… I believe" Tim answered.
"Wait a minute. If you dreamed about Lora Banks, how come I didn't see you on the wall where she keeps track of her children" Kenickie wondered.
"Wait your dreaming of this lady too?" Tim asked. Kenickie nodded."Yeah, I started a few days ago" Kenickie said.
"I guess I never made it to her children list. I was older. I was 24 when I started dreaming about her. But, I guess I just had more scarier nightmares of her since I'm not her child, and with me being a grown man" Tim explained.
"Thank you so much for your help, man" Danny thanked."Hey, no problem. Anyone who's friends with this Murdoch kid is a friend of mine" Tim added."We gotta try this out tonight, Danny" Doody said."Totally" Danny agreed."Lets hope that spell I found works" Kenickie said to himself.
