Chapter 15 The Final Time

Danny opened his eyes. He had no idea where he was. All he remembered was that he was reading the spell and that Lora took it away… and then… he was here. He doesn't know how long its been since he was reading that spell, but he has to say the whole thing this time. Suddenly, Lora's face appeared. She's looking right at Danny."Hello, my little Danny, boy. Did you have a nice nap" she asked."Ugh… where am I" Danny groggily wondered."You're in the darkness, my naughty boy" she answered."Oh, Kenickie. Guys. Guys!" Danny started to panic."Oh, don't worry about your little friends. They're with my mother" she told him."Your mother! That creepy women!"."Hey! That's your grandma you're talking about, naughty boy" Lora said."No! She's not my grandma and you're not my mother! Take me to her! Right now" Danny demanded.

"Alright. If you insist" Lora said, then with a snap of her fingers, the two disappeared.

Meanwhile, The Lady's mother that Danny dreamed about before, the one with long, black, messy hair, pure white skin, with black eyes , mouth and black dress was with Kenickie and the other T-Birds. She was working on something."Ah, yes. That should do it" she said as she poured a liquidy substance in a bottle. She put the top on the bottle. It's a baby bottle. She took it off the heater and started shaking it up."You're insane!" Kenickie cried."You're not gonna give that drink to me and my friends just so you can put a curse on Zuko!". Lora's mother smiled a sweet smile.

"Oh, young Murdoch. I am just doing my job so Daniel doesn't destroy us all. Then, we can't have any more children. That would make my girl sad and I don't want her to be sad… Now, open wide" she said as she started to put the baby bottle towards Kenickie's mouth. Suddenly, Danny and Lora appeared. Lora's mother looked behind her."Hi mom" Lora greeted."Zuko! Thank God you're here. This women is gonna drug us, including you so she can put a curse on you" Kenickie exclaimed.

"What" Danny said."No one is gonna do that to any of my friends".

Lora grabbed a hold of Danny, trying to hold him back."You can do it now, mom" Lora smiled."No!" Danny shouted."Thanks" Lora's mother thanked and forcefully put the bottle in Kenickie's mouth."Drink" she ordered. Kenickie started drinking the substance until she took it out of his mouth. Kenickie instantly started to feel tired. He laid down and closed his eyes."No!" Danny cried. Lora's mother gave the bottle to Doody, then Sonny. Then, it was Putzie's turn."Putzie, don't do it!" Danny struggled to get free from Lora's grip, but couldn't.

But, it was too late. Putzie started drinking the substance as well. After that, Putzie fell asleep too. Lora's mother turned around. Their was just a bit of substance left for Danny."Well, well, well. Look who's turn it is to drink the bottle now. Young Zuko" she smiled. Lora's mother started to walk towards Danny and Lora."Now, be a good boy and cooperate" Lora told Danny."No! I won't let you do it" Danny cried. Once Lora's mother came to them. Danny took the bottle away from her. Danny got out of Lora's grip and ran off, away from them."Danny Zuko!" Lora scolded her 'son'.

Danny kept on running, with the baby bottle in his hand. He knew he had to say the spell, but he wanted to get rid of the bottle first. Danny saw a colorful tunnel, so he decided to crawl through it."There he is!" Lora exclaimed."I'll get him, mom". Danny started to crawl faster through the tunnel, Lora started to catch up."You're not supposed to be in here, you naughty boy!" Lora shouted."Get back here!". But, Danny didn't listen, he kept crawling. He finally made it out and ran more. Danny saw an edge and stopped running. He turned around. A few minutes later, he saw Lora."Stop right there! You're punished, mister" Lora told him.

"Go ahead and punish me. This is the final time I will be dealing with you, Lora Banks" Danny said.

"I really hope you don't mean that, Daniel. You're my baby. I love you" Lora said.

"Well, I do mean that. All you did was scare me for 16 years! I am an adult and I still act like a baby after your adventures. It's so embarrassing. I am gonna throw this bottle, say the spell and I will never have to deal with you again. You even brought Kenickie in with this! So, I am gonna end this, right now! It'll be better for the rest of us" Danny stated.

Danny threw the baby bottle, then turned back to Lora."I really hope my friends will be okay once we get back to reality" Danny said, then he started to say the spell."I am here, but now I want to be gone. Let me be free. Let me rise and be free. Let me be as free as the wind blowing through the trees. Let me be the rain drops falling on our heads. Let me be the gentle, soft snowflakes blowing through the wind at winter time. I want to be the twinkling stars at night. Let me be anything you desire. I am free!".

Then, Danny got blown away as the darkness world exploded. Lora tried to grab Danny's hand to bring him with her, but, it was too late. Danny opened his eyes to see that he was back in reality. The rest of the T-Birds were sitting in the circle with their eyes closed still."Guys" Danny called to them, to get them back to reality."Guys, open your eyes". Kenickie opened his eyes. Danny breathed a sigh of relief."Danny" Kenickie said."Kenickie" Danny said."Are you okay"."Yeah, I think so" Kenickie replied. Doody opened his eyes."Ugh, what happened" Doody groggily asked."Zuko did it. He defeated the lady" Kenickie told him. Sonny was the next one to open his eyes."Did I hear right? Did Zuko defeat the lady?"."Yeah, Sonny. He did" Kenickie said. Putzie still had his eyes closed."Putzie. Putzie, open your eyes" Danny told his youngest friend.

Putzie finally opened his eyes."You okay there, Putz" Danny wondered.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry about that" Putzie apoligized."No, you don't need to apologize" Kenickie told him.

"But, I had you worried because I still had my eyes closed" Putzie said.

"We were just wondering if you were okay" Doody said."Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks" Putzie said.

"I am so sorry the lady's mother drugged you guys like that" Danny apologized.

"Hey, it's not your fault, Zuko" Kenickie told him."So, you sure you got the lady for good" Sonny wondered."I really hope so"."Hey, we gotta get home, good job tonight" Doody told him.

"Yeah, great job, Zuko, see ya" Sonny said."Hope you sleep good tonight" Putzie said as he started to leave as well.

"My guess is you're staying with him tonight, Kenickie?" Doody wondered. Kenickie nodded.

"Yeah, I just wanna make sure everything is okay" Kenickie replied."Bye guys… and thanks" Danny thanked."Sure, anything for our leader" Putzie added.

Putzie, Doody and Sonny said their final good byes and left."Thanks for sticking with me, Kenick's" Danny thanked."Sure thing, Danny. Wanna watch a little tv before bed?" Kenickie asked."Sure" Danny said. The two friends decided to watch tv before turning in for the night. Later on, Kenickie and Danny both went to bed. Kenickie made sure Danny was asleep before falling asleep himself. Danny looked so peaceful tonight. Kenickie sighed a sigh of relief."Good night, Zuko" he whispered before falling fast asleep as well. Kenickie and Danny slept pretty good for a long time that night. Kenickie woke up, fully rested. He yawned and looked over at his older friend, still sound asleep.

Kenickie smiled. No more bad dreams of that awful lady he assumed. Danny finally woke up, turned over to see Kenickie. Kenickie smiled."Mornin' Danny. Did you sleep good" Kenickie asked. Danny yawned and said."That was the best sleep I had in ages. I think Lora Banks is finally gone" Danny said, proudly with a smile."That's good. I'm proud of you. Wanna go to the Frosty Palace today to celebrate?" Kenickie wondered.

"Sure, but my parents are coming home today, so we have to go before then" Danny told him."Oh, okay. We can all hang out with the T-Birds and our girls" Kenickie suggested. Danny smiled. It's been awhile since he seen Sandy."Sure, I'm in for seeing my girl" Danny agreed.
