After her movie with John Cena and the Rock becomes a Hollywood hit Sasha Banks pitches a web series called the Black Heart Diaries and offers Bayley the lead role based on her diary.
Chapter Twelve – Balor's Broken Hearts Club
Bisuteki Tokyo, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 12pm EST
About half an hour's drive away from Harvard Miss Alexander and Finn Balor were having lunch at a popular Japanese restaurant. Balor had managed to pull the Harvard scientist away from campus long enough for her to let her very long blond hair down in an attempt to get her out of Rebound City. The longer she stayed there, the more trouble she was bound to cause for the DX family and she was too much of an asset for that to happen. Miss Alexander was a brilliant scientist who was just going through a rough break up and Finn told Alexa Bliss that he would get her to walk out of Rebound City of her own volition.
An hour later things were making progress. After finding out that sushi was Miss Alexander's favorite food, Finn got her interest by talking about all things New Japan and the Bullet Club. Miss Alexander was a huge wrestling fan and she was able to talk about several matches that she had watched in her free time with Hayworth Helmsley.
"It was cool dating a member of the biggest wrestling dynasty in the world," Miss Alexander said.
"I have such a respect for what you guys do," she said as Finn nodded eating his sashimi.
"It's so dangerous yet so skilful,"
"Kind of like science," Finn added and Miss Alexander laughed.
"I don't think I'd want a professional wrestler doing research on the world's most deadliest arachnids," Miss Alexander said. "Blinky, Summer and Justice are my greatest creation and if things go according to plan, I'm going to be a very rich woman before I turn 25 years old,"
Finn gulped at the reference to Blinky, Summer and Justice knowing they were no longer at Harvard where Miss Alexander thought they were, they were in the far more secure hands of DX founder Triple H. He quickly changed the subject.
"So what is it about wrestling that you like?" he asked her taking a swig of his Japanese beer.
"The action, it's so exciting and physical. You guys are so disciplined to be as good as you are you have to stay in shape, watch what you eat I really respect that," Miss Alexander said. "Hayworth didn't wrestle but he was still in phenomenal shape, I guess he must have inherited that from his father,"
Finn nodded, "That's not all he's inherited. Being a DX kid is a huge burden, did Hayworth tell you the Hell his family's been through over the last couple of decades?" he asked Miss Alexander and she nodded.
"He sure did but he's a tough kid, I don't see much getting to him. I'm sure he'll make his new girlfriend very happy," Miss Alexander said bitterly and Finn smiled at her.
"I'm sorry Miss Alexander I don't know your first name," he said gently.
"It's Kendrick," she replied.
"Kendrick, do you mind if I call you Kenny?" Finn asked her and she gave him an amused look.
"Kenny, you mean like Kenny Omega?" she asked him laughing.
"Yeah he's a good friend of mine, would you like to meet him?" Finn Balor said and Miss Alexander blushed.
"I would love to meet the Cleaner," Miss Alexander said. "Does he like leggy blonds in lab coats?"
"You know I've never asked him why don't we schedule something for this weekend?" Finn Balor said and Miss Alexander covered her face like she was having a school girl crush.
"That sounds great but I have a meeting with the Chief of Special Weapons and Tactics at the Pentagon this weekend," Miss Alexander said and Finn thought of an excuse to make sure Miss Alexander didn't keep her engagement. The spiders she wanted to take with her to the Pentagon were no longer in her possession and the later Finn kept her from finding that out the better.
"You know I bet Kenny would love to hear about your adventures in Peru, who knows he might even give you some advice on how to train the spiders to make them even better anti-terrorism tactics," Finn said and Miss Alexander thought about it.
"Hmm, what's better – spending time with the Chief of the Pentagon or a Saturday night with the Cleaner. What's a single girl to do?" Miss Alexnder said and Finn smiled at her.
"Even a brilliant scientist from Harvard has to let her hair down some-time. A night with Kenny Omega will do more for you than some meeting with the Chief of the Pentagon. Whad'ya say Kenny, wanna get to know how wrestlers really get wild?" Finn Balor said and Miss Alexander nodded.
"Tell the Cleaner I'm all in," she replied with a smile and Finn Balor made the call that would give Alexa and the DX family enough time to come up with a plan while he kept the crazy scientist lady busy for the weekend.
The Rock's house, Hollywood, CA, 1pm EST
"Whoa," Sasha said reading Bayley's diary with Alexa Bliss who was on her way downtown with the rest of the roster to get ready for RAW. "Lexi wait you have to read this with me,"
"You mean read pages and pages of Bayley drooling over Seth, nah I'm good Boss. Gotta go!" Alexa Bliss said.
"Bliss I'm pregnant you have to indulge me," Sasha replied and Alexa smiled. The thought of Seth and Sasha having a baby together brought a smile to her face and she dropped her bag and sat next to the Boss.
"Alright I got ten minutes for you Boss lady, what have you read so far?" Alexa asked Banks.
"This is from three months ago. I can't believe Boss is pregnant, how could that be?! They've only been married for a few weeks! This isn't fair my life is falling apart, this plan better work or else I'm never going to have Seth where I want him. This was not part of the plan, the baby was not part of the plan," Banks read and Alexa nodded.
"Yeah she really hated you back then, are you surprised that she wrote all that down?" Alexa asked her.
"There's more," Banks said. "The plan was for us to turn the wrestling world upside down taking our friends with us and saving everyone for the inevitable destruction of our business. How can we do that if the Boss is pregnant?! Damn it Seth, at least I would have been more careful. Now what are we gonna do? I don't have a plan for pregnancy!" Banks closed the diary, "What do you think she was talking about when she was talking about a plan?"
"I really don't care, all I know is that Seth and I made sure that plan failed and mission accomplished, Bayley's back here with her friends where she belongs," Alexa Bliss said.
"I know but it sounds like she was planning something with Seth before the whole Black Heart thing. Did Bayley ever talk to you about going into business for herself with Seth?" Sasha asked Bliss.
"Bayley barely talked to me back then, isn't there anything juicy in there other than Bayley's crazy plans to take over the world?" Alexa said peering over the pages of Bayley's diaries.
"Oh there's some hot stuff in here girl but I'll read that to Seth later, you know I love to give my husband nightmares about what his life would have been like if he married Bayley instead of me," Sasha said.
Alexa frowned at the Boss, "Yeah because living in the Rock's house with his pregnant wife is so much better," she said sarcastically, "this isn't exactly how Seth wanted to spend the week with you Boss. Remember that the next time you go trashing Bayley behind her back for being crazy,"
"Lexi wait that's not what I meant, okay you gotta go I understand, bring me back something to eat from downtown!" Sasha cried out as Alexa left. Her loyalty to Seth was something to marvel at but she needed to know what Bayley was talking about when she wrote that entry and she didn't trust Bayley to tell her the Truth. "Where's Bianca? Maybe I can ask her, she is the Treasurer of Secrets after all. I need to know if Seth was planning to do something with Bayley before we got married, something stupid,"
Monday Night RAW, Staples Center
After a vain attempt to climb off of the soft leather champagne coloured couch to go to RAW with her husband, Sasha fell asleep and she didn't wake up until RAW was over.
Seth went to the Staples Center with the rest of the roster and was pleased to see Bianca was back to her confident self. She had a segment with Charlotte and she cut a great promo getting the fans to come out of their seats. DX could not believe how good she was but Seth was not surprised at all by the Braid's brilliance.
BELAIR: I may not know a lot about dynasties, factions or horsewomen but I know I got something you will never have and that's the RAW Women's Championship. Its time for you stop hiding behind your last name and start acting like you deserve to be in the ring with the baddEST, the strongEST, the greatEST Women's Champion of all time, the E S T, Bianca Belair.
[The fans cheer Belair]
FLAIR: I know you like to sleep with the title now that you're no longer sleeping with your husband. You might be the new Women's Champion but you are not anything more than a failure E S T. The fact that you even have that title is proof that this division has gone down, just like I went down on your husband last night! Whoooo!
Belair dropped the mic and she lost all colour in her face.
JOSEPH [off mic to SAXTON] Was that line in the script?
SAXTON: Oh no she didn't! [off mic to JOSEPH] I sure hope so.
Charlotte's music played and the fans chanted for Belair who was still trying to gather her thoughts. Every instinct she had told her to run down the ramp and beat the living crap out of Charlotte Flair but her wrestling instincts told her to drop to her knees and break down in tears, which is exactly what she did.
Shawn hugged Hunter delighted, "She's got it, she's freakin' got it! We got ourselves a badass babyface ladies and gentlemen, Roman Reigns eat your heart out!"
Roman frowned at Shawn, "That really hurts my feeling Shawn," he said touching his heart as Seth wondered over to the curtain waiting fo to come back to the gorilla position. The moment he saw her face he knew the tears were real but so was the reaction of the fans and it was one hundred percent what DX wanted to hear. Loud cheers for Belair and loud boos for Flair. Their match at the Royal Rumble was now a must-see main event.
"I can't believe I made it through that Seth," Belair said as he hugged her tightly. "My heart hurts so much,"
Seth nodded, his heart was hurting too, still he couldn't help but feel good about how good the segment went and hopefully one day soon, Belair would take pride in her work. For now though, all she wanted to do was kick the living crap out of Charlotte Flair.
"Well done Belair, now before you ask, Charlotte's already left. She ran outta here with her father about five minutes ago, so don't even think about doing what I know you wanna do," Seth said.
"Seth all I can do is think about that line. The idea of that b***'s mouth going anywhere near my husband's - "
"Okay let's all give it up for Bianca Belair everyone!" Hunter interjected and the producers cheered Belair along with some of other wrestlers, not Bliss who was very unhappy with the line that Charlotte dropped. To Bliss it was one step too far; it was bad enough that Charlotte was in yet another title match at a major pay-per-view but to actually refer to something personal like it wasn't real was too much for the Blissful One. Hunter pulled Belair into a hug and spoke quietly to her. "Remember its not real you're just playing a role. Charlotte is not really having an affair with your husband, don't let this get out of hand okay?"
"Okay boss I just get really jealous sometimes, especially since that's something I take great pride in being the bEST at," Bianca said and Hunter laughed.
"Spoken like a true Degenerate," he said before handing her back to Seth. "I'll try not to think of that the next time I see you eating a banana,"
"But I don't eat bananas," E S T replied confused.
"Just ignore him, he thinks everything's a DX skit from thirty years ago. Are you okay?" Seth asked her.
"No I'm not, can we go for a run after Roman's match?" she asked Seth who nodded as Roman's music played.
"We can go now if you want," Seth said.
"No we can't if you leave now Roman will get mad at you for not waiting for him. Let's just wait until he's done wrestling then we can go for a run together," E S T said and Seth frowned.
"I don't have to do whatever Roman wants me to do, let's go," Seth said bu hesitated. She knew there was something up with Roman but she wasn't sure what and she certainly didn't want to make it worse. If Seth left RAW without Roman it was bound to be a problem.
"No let's just wait okay? I'm a go change you wait here for Roman," E S T said and Seth pouted.
"Okay but I'm only doing this because you gave it your all out there," Seth said and Bianca kissed him on the cheek before heading to the showers. Seth looked down at his cell-phone and saw a text from Montez Ford. He asked Seth to come to the locker room.
Seth showed up and saw Montez there by himself, Angelo was nowhere in sight.
"What is it?" Seth asked him coming into the locker room.
"I just wanted to check something with you," Montez said combing his freshly washed hair. "You know this thing with me and Charlotte is a work right?"
Seth stroked his chin carefully, "This isn't really any of my business so I'm a back out of this conversation now," he said but Montez closed the door behind him so he couldn't leave.
"Charlotte and I are just pretending we're not really having an affair, you know that right?" Montez asked Seth but the Prayer Warrior couldn't tell Montez what he knew. He knew Montez thought it was a "work" and that it was all part of Belair and Flair's storyline going into the Rumble but what Montez didn't know was that the affair that he was pretending to have with Charlotte was actually going to happen for real. If he told Montez that, he would back out of the storyline and Hunter would get mad at Seth for doing "the Lord's work" on DX time and ruin a major title program in the meantime. So for now Seth would have to continue to play dumb.
"It looks pretty real to me Montez, maybe that's because you're secretly enjoying being a major part of your wife's storyline, even though its really hurting her," Seth replied.
"No Seth its not hurting her, she's into it! That performance out there was all fake, trust me I am not having an affair with Charlotte Flair," Montez said and Seth felt torn. He wanted to tell Montez that he believed him and that all was right with their marriage but he knew that wasn't the Truth. "My marriage is fine I just wanted to make sure you were smart to what was going on so you wouldn't start any rumors behind my back. I know you know how that feels Mr Harvard Dorm,"
Seth smiled, "At least this storyline with Charlotte and Bianca gives you a reason to be on TV, or else you'd still be in NXT with the rest of the rookies," he said and Montez laughed it off.
"Look Seth you're a veteran and I respect you but you better be careful how you throw those words around. In a few months, NXT might not be the rookie development pool that everyone thinks it is," Montez said.
Seth frowned at him, "What do you mean by that?" he wondered then he realised Montez had been talking to Stephanie McMahon about NXT. "What did Stephanie tell you about NXT?"
"Let's just say it pays to be a friend of the McMahon family. Enjoy my wife's company now because she might not be around to work out with you in the near future and you might be spending a lot more time at home with your wife," Montez warned Seth and the Prayer Warrior looked at Montez narrowly. "Just be nice to me and I'll put a good word in for you if things don't work out here on the main roster. I'm sure I can put a good word in for you if things get, shall we say, taken over,"
"If Stephanie even tried to take NXT away from DX, she would still need someone with the talent level that I have to make this business what it is today. I think I'll do just fine Montez," Seth said and Montez shook his head.
"Be careful Seth, you're getting awfully close to being clueless," Montez said wisely. "You should tap into my wife's Gift from God and get some knowledge about what's going to happen to this place next year, or even before the end of this year if things go according to plan,"
"What plan what the Hell are you talking about?!" Seth said getting angry.
"Get out of my face I just washed it," Montez said opening the locker room door but Seth was getting hot.
"I am not gonna let you punk me out Montez, now you either tell me what Stephanie told you about NXT or I'm going to ask Hunter to put me and you in a match so I can. . . nah I got a better idea," Seth said changing his mind. He opened the door and went to find Bianca, the last thing he needed to do was get in the ring with her husband feeling the way he did. The last thing he wanted was to make her cry even more than she was already, sending Montez to the hospital was a sure-fire way to do that.
Montez gulped rubbing the back of his neck knowing how close he was to being Stomped by Seth Rollins. He left the building to meet up with Dawkins who was eating at a cigar lounge with the Flairs and they had a seat by the bar with his name on it. Montez was moving in very powerful circles these days and he was loving every moment of it and he would love it even more when this storyline between Bianca and Charlotte was over and they could all go back to being friends.
What Montez Ford didn't know was that those days were becoming more unlikely as the days went by. The more time he spent with Charlotte Flair the more it made her want him for real. He truly had no idea she was falling in love with him but just like his wife, he would have to find out the hard way and in front of the entire wrestling world.
