Shelagh and Trixie walked along the cobbled streets towards James Barclay's pushing there bikes.

"So, Shelagh. Heard of him?" Trixie asked looking at the list of names.

"Yes, of a matter of fact, he used to bully me in primary and told me I would never live past thirty and no man would ever look twice at me. That along with my mother was dead and I wore glasses." Shelagh sighed and rooled her eyes.

"This will be fun!" Trixie grinned

As they arrived at the front door of the modest, one-floor house. A look passed between them both, agreeing that Shelagh can do the talking.

The door opened to reveal a shabby looking man of about five foot seven, and although he was just under forty years old his head is already greying. "What'd ya want?" He asked with a strong Scottish accent.

"Mr Barclay? We are the nurses here to deliver your mesication, may we come in?" Shelagh asked matter of factly.

"Yeah, yeah, in you come." He usher the two nurses in.

The two nurses worked on getting the man on a low, dirty couch and began to set up the medication.

"I'm sorry Nurse, do I know ya?" The man asked looking at Shelagh.

Shelagh and Trixie smirked at each other. "I dare say you do James. I am Shelagh Turner, though you know me as Shelagh Mannion." Realisation dawned on his face. "Yes from school."

"Oh my, Shelagh! But you look, you look nice! And Turner, are you married!" He was completely baffled at the women in front of him.

"Yes I am. I still wear glasses, my biological mother is dead still yes, but unlike your predictions for my future I have had a great life. I have a mentor who is practically a mother to me from when I left nursing school, I have amazing friends a husband who adores me, he even likes mu glasses, I have four beautiful children and my life has worked out brilliantly. So what you believed would happen to me in the future did not happen. How was your life?" Shelagh asked, now packing her equipment up, Trixie was smirking at the now spluttering man who was trying to grasp the situation.

"Um, well, ur, I think you can see my situation..." he looked around room.

"Yes, I do, now I shall take my leave. Nurse Franklin, goodbye James." Shelagh nodded towards the man.

Trixie and Shelagh burst into laughter as soon as the door clicked behind them, and did not stop till they where at least half way to the next house.

"Oh, how I have wanted to do that!" Shelagh let out a sigh and smiled which caused them both to fall into laughter again.
