This was originally posted on my Wattpad profile and I was thinking of making it Wattpad exclusive, but then again I figured that you guys might like it here. This took a while to do thanks to me slacking off for a while and some other stuff.

(Planeptune: Basilicom)
Neptune was in the living room of his Basilicom upside-down on a beanbag playing one of his games. He was currently playing as Ragna the Bloodedge and Yang as a tag team and was going through wave after wave of characters and was making it past 20 wins.
He was a boy with pink hair and purple eyes wearing a vest with white, purple and light blue colors that reached his waist around his purple shirt, a belt that had his logo on the front of his purple pants with blue lines that were rolled a bit at the ankles to show him wear blue striped socks in white sneakers that also had his logo on the front, a pair of headphones in the shape of d-pads, and a pair of purple fingerless gloves that had white cuffs.
"Alright! I'm on a roll!" He yelled in excitement as he was on his 24th win. "One more win and I'm gonna make it to 25." He then says before he sees what the next matchup was and he looked nervous. "Aw, man. Not Tagger and Waldstein." He said with dread before the match began.
"Okay, don't fail me Armed and Edgy." He then says as he sits up normally and gets ready to fight.
He was going for a little bit and was having a hard time because of how impossible the team of mashups he was fighting was hard to beat. He wouldn't stop until he's won this time and it was down to Yang and Tagger on the field. He was at low health, but that's what set off his character's trump card. He was also getting close to using his astral and believed he could win.
"Alright… ASTRAL-!" He says as he presses the buttons to activate the final attack, only for Tagger to for some reason block it. "WHAT?!"
Neptune watched as Tagger then grabbed Yang and did a special attack and won the match. Leaving it a Resonance Finish and causing the poor god himself to drop his controller and look in despair as he saw that his streak was destroyed.
Nepgear walked into the room. He had the same color hair and eyes but he had a white long-sleeve sweatshirt that had purple around the collar and cuffs with a pin in the shape of a d-pad on his left, over a white button down shirt that was also purple at the collar with some white lines, and his had a yellow tie with his logo holding it together, and similar pants, socks and shoes.
"Hey, Big-bro. Are you okay?" Nepgear then asks, seeing his older brother look broken. "Neptune? What's wrong?" he then asked again.
"He… blocked my Astral Finish…" Neptune says in a broken tone.
"Wait, you can do that?" The god candidate asks as he got no response. He waved his hand in front of his face and still nothing. "Come on, it can't be that bad." He tells him.
The pink haired boy just sighed and slumped back into his beanbag. "What's up, Nep-bro? Histy need anything?" He asks him.
"Not really, we don't seem to have any requests for today. Our Shares don't seem to be having a problem ether. So, I guess we could just relax for the day." Nepgear tells him.
"O-kay, so nothing's happening at all today. Great." Neptune then says bored.
"I'm sure there is something you can do. Unless you were thinking about sitting here all day."
"Nah, I'm kinda tired of playing these games waiting for new ones to come out. I really don't know what else I can do today." The god then says while sitting up. "Why, you got anything planned today?"
"Well…" The younger pink haired boy says as he scratches his cheek while blushing. "I-uh… kinda was thinking of heading over to visit Vert." He then finished. "So, I'm gonna be heading over to Leanbox for the day." He then tells him.
'Tch, figures. Of course, Vert wants to have her hands all over my little bro when I'm not around.' "Alright, I guess I'll… think of something to do." Neptune then replies.
"Okay, well… see you tonight brother!" Nepgear then says before heading to the balcony. "Sorry I have to go so soon." He says one last time.
"Yeah, well don't go doing anything I wouldn't do." The pink haired god tells him while giving him a smirk.
"Alright, bye Neptune!" Purple Brother then says before transforming and taking off.
"Cya, Nep-bro!" Neptune then says before waiting a few seconds. "… and now I'm alone." He sighed before picking his controller back up.
But before he could get into another match, he began to think for a second. He looked at his controller, then at the TV, then around the room and let his head down while looking sad. He then took out his phone and texted IF and Compa in a group chat.
Neptune: Hey, how's it going?
Neptune: You girls wanna hang out?
He waited for a minute, but he got a response.
IF: Sorry, Neptune. The guild needs some help so I'm a little occupied at the moment
Compa: Sorry, Nep-Nep. I've got a lot of appointments that people have made in my clinic
This brought the boy to sigh as even his two closest friends were busy.
Neptune: Alright, cool
He then puts his phone down and looks up at the ceiling. "So, bored… what can I do today?" He asked himself, trying to think of what he could do. "… Oh, I know!" He then says with a snap of his fingers.
(Lastation Basilicom)
"No way." Noire already rejected what Neptune asked.
"Come on, Nori. We're besties, we should go hang out today." Neptune says over skype.
"I told you not to call me that, and I said no, so no." She tells him, annoyed.
"But I got nothing to do today. And all of my friends are busy. Besides, you could use some time off work after a while." He tells her still trying to get her interested.
"I don't need to take any advice from someone like you. My work has nothing to do with you, and I'm not gonna slack off like you do."
"C'mon, please?"
"No, means no! And my answer is final." She then says ending the call and getting up.
"So, you're just gonna do your usual loner routine?" Neptune then suddenly appeared.
"DAHA!" Noire jumps back as she sees him upside down looking at her with his arms crossed.
"You know this is why you don't have any friends." He chuckles while looking smug.
"I do too have friends! And-how on earth are you doing that when the ceiling isn't even that low?!" She asks, freaked out.
"Oh, my dear Lady Noire, have you forgotten that I have the fourth-wall at my mercy?" He asks her with one hand on his chest and one out.
She thought about it. "Okay, fair enough. But, how'd you get here already?" She asks, still freaked out.
"I just told you-" Neptune then says while hopping down. "The fourth-wall is mine to break." He told her before she groaned.
"Okay, Neptune…" Noire then pulls out her rapier and aims it at the boy's throat. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't have to call my guards over here and escort you out for trespassing?" She says as she nears closer.
"Alright, alright, a bit much don't ya think?" He says while pinching the tip of the blade and directing it away from him. "Come on, Noire. You're always working like this. Don't you want to have even the tiniest bit of fun?" He asks her.
"Pff, and why would I involve myself in such childish acts exactly?" She asked him with a blank look.
"… Well you like to cosplay in the dark… when no one is around." Neptune gets back at her.
She immediately blushed from his statement and tried to think of something. "T-that… that's irrelevant!" She yelled at him.
"How is that no different from having fun 'with' someone? In my opinion, it's way more fun to do stuff with friends than it is to do so alone. Oh that's right, you don't-"
"Shut up about that friendless crap already!" Noire yelled at him now getting pissed.
"Alright… fine… if you don't wanna go out, then how about a movie?" He then asks her.
"What?"
"No need to go in public, can sit and enjoy popcorn on the couch, and we can pause the movie at any time. What do ya say?" Neptune then asks with a smile.
"… No." Was all that came out of Noire's mouth as the boy's smile dropped.
"Why not?!" He asked her.
"Because, you're just gonna make me watch whatever dumb movie you probably have at home. I'm all for a movie, but not if it's from you because I know you will pick something I won't like and you'd probably sleep through anything that I pick, so either way, it's a lose-lose." She tells the boy as he was moving his hand in a mouth formation.
"I get it, you don't have to rub it in." He told her, looking unamused. "Come on, there's gotta be some kind of movie we both like to watch."
"I know for a fact that there is no movie out there that you and me both would like." Noire tells him while turning away.
"You don't know that. C'mon give me a chance here. At least try it before giving up." Neptune begs her.
She still was turned from him until she heard something fall then looked down seeing that he had gotten on his knees and gave her the unbearable puppy-eyes look on his face. Her eyes widened and she blushed a bit before looking away. She then turned back to him and he still had that look on his face. She tried to resist, but it was too much even for her.
"ALRIGHT! FINE! Just stop making that face!" Noire gave up.
"Great!" Neptune then says as he goes over to the corner of the screen then pulls the corner of the background like a page to his Basilicom.
"WHA-I-WHA-HOW-I-GH! Don't do that!" The twin-tailed girl then says almost freaked out. "You know I don't like how you use those stupid 'Protagonist Powers' or 'Powers of being the Protagonist' or whatever you call it!" She then flipped out a bit as the pink-haired boy smiled nervously.
(TimeSkip)
Neptune had started the microwave to get the popcorn ready before he then went over to his shelf of movies and decided to look through a few of them. "Yo, Nori, wha-" He was saying before he got one of his game cases thrown at his head.
"Would you stop calling me that already!" He heard the black-haired goddess yell from behind.
"Is it really necessary to throw things at me? Specifically, my games?" He then says, picking up the case. "Okay… eenie, meenie…" He then says looking through the movies once more. "How about this one?" He just picks a random movie and shows it to Noire.
"Uh… no." She didn't agree to it.
"Alright then." Neptune went back to the movie rack.
"Not up for any action tonight." Noire tells him which made him sigh and roll his eyes. Then she noticed something. "Where are your brother and Histoire?"
"Histy's asleep and when you try to wake her up, she turns Pisty. And Nep-bro is busy left to see Boobie Green." The pink-haired boy says the nickname in a mocking tone.
"What is with you and your brother being around Vert?"
"What do you think? She knows I don't like her smothering my little bro like she does, so she does it when I'm not around."
"I mean, I guess I would be annoyed too… but come on. Vert's the only one of us who doesn't have a little sister or brother, you know."
"Uh… well… N-nevermind." Neptune says before going through the movies once again. "Oh, haven't watched this one yet." He then takes a movie out from the rack.
"What is it?" Noire asked before she was shown what it was. "Max? I've heard about it, but never watched it." She tells him.
"Alright then. Let's pop it in and get comfy, Nori." He then says with a smile.
"How many times do I-…! Ugh, forget it." The twin-tailed goddess then pouted as she turned away.
"It's a habit. Besides, you look cute when you're angry." Neptune then says nonchalantly. "I'll get the popcorn ready." He then said as he left while Noire was still processing what he said.
Then she realized and blushed before turning and yelling- "I AM NOT CUTE!" Right at him as he snickered.
(Timeskip)
They had gotten into the movie and for a little bit Neptune was just eating some popcorn while enjoying the movie. Noire was watching with a sympathized look as she felt bad for the dog in the movie. The boy saw and looked at the screen before he decided to make a move.
He smirked then placed down the popcorn before scooting over to her. Then he pulled the idea of stretching before he placed his arm around her shoulder. She didn't notice him and was too focused on the movie. After a little bit, realization kicked in and she grabbed him by the arm before twisting it off of her as he grunted in pain.
"OW!" Neptune says as he held his arm in pain. "Come on, Nori. What was that about?" He asks while looking annoyed.
"Don't 'Come on Nori' me! Why did you have your arm around me?!" She says as she was more annoyed.
"I just thought that you wanted someone to help cheer you up."
"From what? What am I supposed to be sad about here?"
Neptune sighed as he rubbed his arm. "Did you really have to twist my arm like that?"
"Maybe you should learn to keep your hands to yourself."
He just gave up and scooted a bit away from her. He figured that clearly his little tease wasn't worth having his arm twisted. He decided to head to the kitchen and took two cups of water before heading back and he offered one to her, which she took.
"Pretty good movie, right?" He then says to her.
"Yeah, this is pretty nice." Noire says back. Then she looked at her fellow CPU as his attention was on the movie. 'He's kinda annoying sometimes, but even so, he's really kind and nice.' She thought to herself before deciding to focus on the movie.
Noire does get annoyed at Neptune and his lazy behavior and prefers not to work most of the time. Although in spite of that, he was very kind spirited and would help her and other friends with problems at times. Like one time when he talked to her about taking it easy on work but she didn't listen.
She fell asleep and woke up to find a blanket over her and that the rest of her paperwork was done. She wondered what had happened and spotted Neptune sleeping by her desk. She didn't believe that someone like him would do work even for her, but when she checked the security camera, she saw him covering her with a blanket.
Then hear him say something along the lines of- 'I really hope this isn't hard.' Which surprised her especially since he was starting to look through her papers.
She fast forwarded a bit and it turned out he called Uni over to give him a hand, which caused her to frown a bit that he still had a bit of laziness in him. But even if he needed someone to help do work, he and her sister had done what they could to help out… even if it was possible Uni did more of the work than him.
"Nori? Nori?… Nori!" She was snapped out of her flashback and looked at Neptune who was calling her. "You okay?" He says after getting her attention.
She stared at him for a second and saw the movie was paused as he was trying to get her attention. She turned away and blushed a bit which made the pink-haired CPU raise an eyebrow wondering why she was acting like that.
"I'm fine." She said while putting her cup down.
The boy just shrugged and sat down before resuming the movie. She got a bit annoyed by his naive personality, but she didn't think anything of it because it wasn't unexpected to say the least.
"Hey, um… I'm sorry about… getting angry at you. And twisting your arm." Noire then apologized.
"Eh, not really that big of a deal." He told her.
"Can you just pause the movie real quick." She says which made him a bit confused as he paused the movie. "I-I can't say this while it's going on."
"What do you want to talk about?" He asked her.
"Look, I wanted to thank you for… well, helping out with my work back then." She finally mustered the courage to say anything.
"It was really nothing. I mean to be honest, I just asked Uni to help me… Wait, that was almost a month ago."
"Still, I think I should thank you since I didn't before."
"Little late to that?" Neptune muttered under his breath.
"EXCUSE ME?!" She retorted which made him flinch a bit. "Okay… how about I make it up to you for not apologizing sooner?" She then asks him which made him raise an eyebrow. "Maybe we could… umm… c…?" She muttered the last part, which he couldn't understand.
"Huh?"
"I said, maybe we could… do cos… ay…"
"Nori, I can't understand what you're saying. What?"
"Do cosplay! There I said it!" Noire yelled as she had to force it out.
"Wait, seriously?" Neptune asks as he was a bit dumbfounded by how she was asking. "I thought you said something like, I was too childish for you to hang out with… or something. Let alone do that kind of stuff with me." He asked her.
"Look, I'm willing to make an exception for just one time. Is that clear?" She tells him. "But you better not tell anyone, Neptune. And don't get the wrong idea, this doesn't mean I like you… or anything." She then says as she looked away with her arms crossed.
"Yeah, yeah, got it. I'm tots down, though. I actually think I still got some Halloween costumes that fit." Neptune says before resuming the movie, before Noire takes his hand and pauses his again. "Seriously? Are you going to watch the movie or-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Noire suddenly grabbed him by the vest and pulled him in connecting their lips. This caught Neptune completely off guard as he wasn't prepared for the sudden action. His face started to turn red the longer the kiss lasted as he didn't know how to respond to what she was doing.
Then the kiss ended and Noire looked at him with an equally big blush on her face. Then she realized what she did and jumped back. They stared at each other as her face turned bright red. She quickly slapped herself then sat down and grabbed the remote before starting the movie again.
"..." Neptune wanted to say something but couldn't think of what to say.
Noire just looked at him before sighing. "Don't tell anyone. Okay?" She asked him which caught his attention.
"Uh… y-yeah. Of course… t-totally, heh." He tried not to look so surprised.
Then she looked at him for a bit before blushing again and scooting over to get close to him. He thought nothing of it as he went back to the movie. After a bit, she leaned on him and laid her head on his shoulder which made him surprised as he started to blush as well. Even still, he moved his arm to wrap around her as they continued watching the movie together in peace.
Epilogue
The next day, Nepgear had arrived back at the Basilicom and stretched as he watched inside. "Hey, Neptune, I'm back." He said as he walked into the living room, but no response. "Neptune? Are you awake?" He said once again but heard no one answer him.
"Did he fall asleep playing games in his room again?" He says as he goes to his brother's room to check. "Neptune?" He says as he opened the door a bit and spotted his brother in bed.
Nepgear figured that he didn't want to disturb his older brother so he decided to close the door. Before he could though, he noticed something off. He looked at Neptune's dresser and saw not only his headphones but what looked like some ribbons that looked familiar. Then he opened the door a bit and got a better look.
He saw Neptune hugging something black that was on his chest which made him look confused before he opened the door more and got a better look. His eyes then widened as he saw that it was Noire lying in bed with him. His face turned red before he stepped out while shutting the door. Then he leaned against it.
"... Well… guess this is one way to end a one-shot."
