Chapter 29.5: Winter solstice
Riza woke up feeling delighted. Her morning sickness had started to rapidly lessen since two weeks ago, and this morning she didn't feel one bit of nausea. Looking over to her husband who was sleeping right beside her, she couldn't help but lean over to kiss his forehead lightly before quietly getting off the bed, and walked towards calendar hung on the wall.
Second trimester, huh... She thought to herself, and smiled down at her belly as she caressed it gently. Looking over to the window, she realised it had started to snow. She happily strode to the bathroom to take a quick morning shower and washed up, then to her wardrobe and picked out a comfy set of underwear, a loose sweater and a pair of pants.
"Nice view," She heard her husband's deep and coarse voice from behind as she stripped the towel off her, and she turned to see him grin lazily at her with just one eye peaked open as he tried to sit himself up. "What a lucky man I am, to be able to see this the first thing in the morning."
"Good morning, Roy." She ignored what he said as she dried the excess water on her skin, and nodded her head towards the window. "Look, it's snowing. I wonder when it started snowing."
"Well, aren't you in a good mood. No more morning sickness?" He took his cup on the bedside drawer and sipped on the water after briefly glancing at the window, and averted his attention on her, especially her curves. "Is it just me, or have they grown?"
Riza resisted the urge to sigh, and decided to innocently caress and cup a breast, "You think so too? I've been thinking that lately as well..." The corners of her lips curved up to a playful smirk as she slowly headed towards him and pulled the covers off him to stradle his lap. He instantly wrapped his arms around her naked torso and she placed a hand on his chest, her fingers fidgeting with the button on his pajama. She leant forward and whispered in his ear, "I've been feeling something as well, especially this moment."
"Oh? What is it?" He murmured, pressing his lips against her neck, lightly nibbling and sucking the flesh, smirking when he heard a light moan from her. His smirk widened when she started to unbutton his pajama shirt, and pushed it off his shoulders, allowing him to shrug it off. "Won't you tell me, my dear?"
"I've been feeling this insuppressible craving..." She sighed another moan when a hand slid down to squeeze her buttocks, and the other cupped her breast.
"Seems like they have gotten bigger," He fondled it while moving his lips south, leaving kisses on her flesh and bites on her collarbone, then re-positioned her, his toned arms firmly supporting her back. He raised a brow at her, "May I?"
She let out a scoff, "Since when have you started asking for my permission to touch me?"
"Don't make me sound like a rowdy beast. In case you still haven't noticed, you have married a gentleman." He planted featherlight kisses around her breasts, "Now are you going to let me?"
She threaded her fingers in his dark hair, gently pulling his head forward and whispered. "You know what the answer will always be."
Roy continued fondling her breast whilst giving attention to the other one with his mouth, kissing and nibbling the soft, ample flesh, and swirling his tongue around the pink, erected peak, enticing Riza to whine his name. Answering to her request, he latched onto the nipple and suckled, then toyed with it with his tongue, contended when he heard another moan.
She felt the familiar sensation down in her lower abdomen, and she shifted in his lap, desperately wanting to move against his evident erection but she withheld herself. Moving her hands to his shoulders, she squeezed them and moaned as he moved to the other breast, giving the same amount of attention he did to the previous one.
"Now are you going to tell me what you are craving for?" He grinned, he moved a hand to her womanhood, running his fingers up and down the slit, ready to push them in her soaked entrance. "Must be from not being able to touch you for three months, do you know how wet you are right now?"
"Am I...?" She weakly retorted as pleasure and heat built up within her, and she rested her hands on top of his pants, tugging them down. He lifted his hips, and she pulled them down to his thighs, then to his utmost surprise and disbelief, she excused herself off his lap and smirked playfully. "I'm having this crazy craving for very sweet things right now, and I can't wait to have breakfast. Get changed, dear husband."
He gawked, watching her quickly dress herself and speechless, until she slipped her sweater on. He sighed, then moued. "You are unbelievable, Riza."
"I'll take it as a compliment," She chuckled, "How long do you intend to stay in bed, Roy?"
"That was very cruel of you," He pouted, crossing his arms. "Three months, darling."
She pecked his lips, and winked. "You won't have to wait for too long from now on. I do believe my other craving will begin soon enough."
"Here you go," Roy handed his wife a glass mug and placed a plate with a slice of cake on the table. "Customised mulled wine, as per requested."
Riza chuckled, tapping on the space next to her on the sofa, signalling him to sit next to her, and raised her mug. "Happy winter solstice."
"Cheers, dear." Raising his own, he lightly tapped it to hers and sipped his wine. "How do you like it?"
She nodded, "Tastes wonderful, what did you replace the wine with?"
"Fruit infused black tea, just one tea bag." He took her mug and took a tiny sip. "Hmm, not bad, but I think I still prefer mine with alcohol in it."
She leant over to smell his mug, and raised a brow. "What else did you add in yours? Don't think you've only added red wine."
He returned a sheepish grin. "Just a little whisky."
She sighed, placing her mug down and averted her attention to the cake, and took a long anticipated bite. "Chocolate and berries?"
"Yes, you said you wanted something sweet." He took his own fork, grimacing at the overwhelming sweetness when he tasted it. "I wonder when it'll be my turn."
The blonde woman let out a light laugh, "Still onto it? Soon enough, Roy."
"Is that a promise?" He placed his fork down, decided he needn't have more cake for the night, then placed his arm around her shoulder.
"Perhaps..." She placed the plate she had just emptied back on the table, and cupped his cheek to pull him towards her, then leant forward, running her tip of her tongue up the corner of his lips, licking the cream off. "Didn't you say you have some reports to look at?"
The raven-haired Führer gawked at his wife, just like he did in the morning, and groaned.
Omake:
"Are you alone, Mister?"
Havoc averted his attention from his nearly empty glass of rum on the rocks to the familiar sound next to him, and he grimaced as the owner of the voice sat right next to him on the bar counter. "Two mulled wine and one truffle fries please, thanks."
"Fancy meeting you here – Hey!" He cried when Rebecca took his drink and finished it in one gulp. "What was that for!?"
"Come on, have some mulled wine with me, it's Winter Solstice." She said as she placed her arms on the counter, and rested her head on a hand. "Don't be so depressed."
"...Fine." He muttered, then smirked. "The bill is on you though."
Rebecca snorted, "Wow, what a stingy person. No wonder why you always get dumped."
"No, no, can't help it with you when you obviously have a higher pay than me."
She grinned. "You'll be able to catch up soon enough, once you become a Colonel." She took her glass of mulled wine and raised it. "Wonder when you'll be able to get promoted? Anyways, cheers to that."
Havoc sighed and raised his to tap it with hers, then downed the wine. "Well, what are you doing here alone on a lovely Winter Solstice night? Thought you were into Central men."
It was Rebecca's turn to sigh, and she took a piece of fry. "Nah, they're all just not my type."
"So picky. Then what is your type? Actually no," He interrupted her before she could answer, and smirked. "Let me guess."
She crossed her arms, waiting for the insults to be hurled at her. "What? Go on."
"Rich, handsome, manly." He listed as he raised three fingers.
"That's not tru–" She attempted to argue back, but sighed. "I don't really know anymore. I'm 31 and far from married," She then let out a tired laughter, "I retired from the military unmarried."
"Why don't you settle with me, then?"
Rebecca nearly spat out the wine in her mouth, and she coughed as she choke, then looked at the blonde man next to her incredulously. "W-What?"
"No, don't get me wrong." He couldn't help but grin, seeing her flabbergasted reaction, then he cleared his throat. "I'm not proposing to you right now. I'm just saying that–"
She raised a hand, stopping him from going on. "I–I get it." Heaving a deep breath, she re-crossed her arms and legs as she faced him, a blush ever so slightly surfacing on her cheeks though her tone confident and bold. "I don't see why not. Don't got a lot of hope in our relationship, but deal."
This woman actually said yes, he thought to himself, slightly disappointed that she was no longer acting stupefied. "Deal."
Seeing both their glasses empty plus feeling a bit awkward, she asked. "Umm... so are you going for a second drink or...?"
"I don't have any refined wine, but I do have liquor and ice." Taking his wallet out from his pocket, he said and his grin widened. "Care to join?"
A/N: I wanted to write a short story on how they spent something similar to Christmas or other kind of winter holiday, and I somehow really enjoyed writing a very teasing Riza (though it seemed very out-of-character)...
Hope you enjoyed the very short (extra) chapter! :)
Hope you enjoyed reading the Havolina extra as well haha, and hope it wasn't weird lol
