- ...Do you know me ? I came here because I saw your house from afar. I was lost and tired, and I decided to try to knock. I have no idea where I am, I was hoping that you would explain it to me.
Honestly, Regina wanted to pinch herself to make sure she hadn't fallen asleep while reading her book. She would have prefered that. She would have prefered anything except what Emma was telling her. So if she wasn't making fun of her, she didn't know who she was, she had lost her memory. Really ? It looked like a bad movie plot. Well it wasn't a movie, this was real life, unfortunately. And Emma didn't remember her life right now. And she came to Regina's mansion. Snow and Charming were obviously going to say that it was Regina's fault, as they always did when something weird and unnatural happened. Well, maybe Emma had a car accident. She could have lost her memory like that. A hand on her shoulder startled her. Emma said :
- Are you okay ? Are we enemies ? Do you want me to go ? It's okay, I invited myself in your home, I understand if my story is a lot to take in.
- No ! Stay ! Yes, I do know you. And we are friends. Do you remember what happened to you ? Anything ? I want to help you.
Emma seemed to think hard, and then she answered :
- I'm not sure what happened. I only remember being out in the rain, walking, and then suddently being in front of your door, knocking. You said I have a car ? I don't remember seeing one.
Okay. So Emma couldn't remember anything. What could Regina do ? Not much. She wasn't a doctor. But she could offer her a room where to rest, and maybe show her pictures of Henry to see if it triggered something ? She didn't know. Was she supposed to tell her who she had been before loosing her memory ? That didn't sound like a really good idea. Just showing her a picture or two of « Regina's son » Henry was maybe something to do. She didn't know what could happen, so she had to be cautious. She took a photo album out of a drawer. Emma didn't show any interest in it at first. Then, she saw Henry. She froze for a second. She then said that something was familiar with this little boy. Yes, thought Regina, he's your son. That is why he is so familiar.
She then closed the photo album, asking Emma if she still had her phone. The blonde woman shook her head. She had lost it somewhere, apparently. Who knew what had really happened ? Regina would have to tell the Charming family where Emma was, at some point. But at this hour, it was way too late to do anything. She told Emma to rest, that they would try to remember together the next day. The blonde didn't protest. She seemed really tired. Regina led her towards her guest room.
