- Do you know where Emma is ?
- Hello Snow, I am pleased to talk to you to at this very late, or should I say very early hour. Yes, I know were she is. She is sleeping at my house because she was drenched and the rain and storm were keeping her from coming back at your appartment. So no worries. Good night ! Or is it good morning ?
She hung up without letting Snow talk more. Emma asked her :
- Who was it ? I think they mentioned me ? Do I know them ?
Once again, Regina didn't know if she was supposed to tell her all about her life, or let her remember it on her own. She told her that they were friends, but not really close friends. They then settled down once again on the bed, and fell asleep.
...They woke up to the sound of knocking. What was it this time ? Regina groaned, then she opened her eyes….Only to see that Emma had moved during the night. They had fallen asleep each at one end of the bed, and now Emma was well on her side of the bed, turned towards her. She was still sleeping. The knocking continued, and Regina hoped out of bed groggily. This night had been at least the shortest of her life. She opened her door widely, annoyed at the person who had dared disturb her so early. It was one of the dwarves. She honestly couldn't remember his name. But was it that important ? For her, they looked like each other, and she could never tell them apart. Okay, so why was a dwarf here ? He began to step back seeing her angry stare. She told him to start talking or she would turn him into a garden dwarf, and put him in her alley as a reminder for the others. He hurriedly told her that he saw the Sheriff in the rain the night before. Regina told him to continue. He added that he had seen her powers do weird things, and then she had seemed really tired, and she had collapsed. It had taken place two streets away from Regina's mansion. The Sheriff's car was still in the street.
Regina looked at him pensively as he ran back to wherever the dwarves lived. So it had to do with magic, huh ? She instantly called Rumple, thinking he might know what had happened to Emma's magic. He always knew everything. And Henry was his grandson, so he tolerated Emma. He would give her the solution without making too much of a fuss. He answered, and he seemed to know what this call was about before she even explained what had happened. He told her that he had wanted to help Emma because her magic was behaving weirdly because she never had any training. She had never asked him to help her, but he had wanted to. And he had cast a spell on her. Her magic must have reacted too strongly to counter his spell. She was a very powerfull witch. He added that she would have her memory back soon. Before she could even say something, he hung up. What a fool !
When she came back into the house, she heard a breaking noise and a scream. She sighed, worried and annoyed at the same time. What had Emma done now ? She found her friend in the kitchen. A glass, or what had been a glass before was shattered on the ground. Emma seemed shaken. She turned towards Regina, smiling :
- Regina ? I think I remember…But I still don't know what happened with my powers.
- Come here, Miss Swan. You still need rest. I will explain everything to you on the way. And I think I will need to teach you a thing or two about magic, from now on.
Regina led her friend to the guest room, telling her to sleep a bit more.
