Chapter 9
Path to the Old Hideout - Later this night
Later in the evening, the same day she called her via D-Link, Lea was walking towards the secret passage to the Old Hideout in Sapphire Ridge. Shizuka was following her from afar again, but still, she was wondering why she was going to the hideout like this. Maybe to see Satoshi? Whithout thinking about it too much, Shizuka kept stalking her blue-haired Evotar copy, following her until she reached the teleporter behind the waterfall. Lea used it and wrapped away to the path to the hideout. But Shizuka stood back for a bit, waiting for Lea to walk further down the track, so she isn't spotted immediately.
[Shizuka] : ... "I really wonder why she's going here..."
[Shizuka] : "I mean... Does she suspects anything?"
[Shizuka] : "... She didn't looked like she was looking for me here..."
She takes a small breath and figures she has waited long enough already. She takes the teleporter and appears at the start of the path, with no Lea in sight.
[Shizuka] : ... "Okay. She must have walked fur-"
[Lea] : Hi!
[Shizuka] : EEEAAAHHH?!
Shizuka jumps out of surprise : Lea was waiting for her, behind the teleporter! She giggles heartily, while Shizuka's face flushes red with color. Still, she promptly recovers and just frowns at Lea.
[Shizuka] : P-pffah... Very funny...
[Lea] : Sorry~
[Shizuka] : ... Whatever...
Shizuka starts walking along the path, but Lea goes to walk in front of her, facing her.
[Lea] : You meet Lea?~
[Shizuka] : Huh? Yeah, met you just now. So what?
[Lea] : [shakes head]
[Lea] : You. |Followed| Lea~
[Shizuka] : ... Hum... Wait... N-no I... wasn't following you!
[Lea] : ...?~
[Shizuka] : I-I was just going home okay? Saw you come here too, so didn't wanted to bother you.
[Lea] : [shakes head, smugging~]
[Shizuka] : ... What do you mean "No"?
[Lea] : Why?~
[Shizuka] : ... Why did I wanted to go back in MY home?
[Lea] : [shakes head]
[Lea] : Why you |followed| Lea?
[Shizuka] : I wasn't following you!
[Shizuka] : Just... leave me alone, would you?
[Lea] : Wait~
Shizuka tries to ignore Lea, but the Evotar keeps following her around, smiling widely, her smug expression unwavering.
[Lea] : I |saw| you |following| Lea~
[Shizuka] : ... hm...
[Lea] : You |want| meet Lea?~
[Shizuka] : hhrrmm...
Shizuka tries to speed up, moving away from Lea, but the evotar keeps stepping on her way.
[Lea] : Hiii?~
[Shizuka] : ... gh...
[Lea] : [giggles] Youuu?~
Shizuka twitches, her anger and embarassement growing. She stops yelling at Lea.
[Shizuka] : Come on, Lea! What do you want from me?!
Lea sighs and stops herself, trying to mime to Shizuka.
[Lea] : ...
[Lea] : I. |Think|. You...
[Shizuka] : ... Yeah?
[Lea] : Love~ Lea~
[Shizuka] : ?!
[Shizuka] : W-What?!
[Shizuka] : What in the hell makes you say that?!
Lea giggles, then wiggles her body, her arms behind her back, almost... flirting with Shizuka. The black-haired girl backs up a bit, as she spots a certain detail on Lea's body : her chest is... jiggling? But that's not possible in this game normally. Unless...
Shizuka blushes, it was now very clear Lea understood why she's been following her, what her intentions were. Lea slowly steps towards Shizuka, leaning her chest a bit, so it's clearly visible.
[Lea] : You |want| meet Lea?~
[Shizuka] : ... G-gghhrrrhh!
Shizuka makes a backward dash, then suddenly, a PvP request pops up, spawning laser walls around the two of them in an arena.
[Shizuka] : You better not touch me, okay?!
[Shizuka] : Or I'll rip off your arms!
[Lea] : ...
Lea sighs, but then grins and gets in her battle stance, accepting the duel. As soon as she does though, Shizuka immediately throws a volley of balls towards Lea, that she luckily dodges at the right time. The battle goes on with an exchange of projectiles, mostly at the advantage of Lea, who was able to not only dodge most of them, but also place herself in a better position, running towards Shizuka. The black-haired spheromancer spots this and counters with a melee attack. Unfortunately, Lea read this move and pulled out her shield just in time to counter the attack, stunning Shizuka.
[Shizuka] : Ghh!-
[Lea] : ...!
The Evotar takes this opportunity to dash forward and... kiss Shizuka's cheek softly.
[Shizuka] : Wha-?!
[Lea] : [giggles]
Shizuka gets stunned a bit further, looking confused at Lea, who winks mischieviously. As soon as she can act again though, she pulls out the Level 2 fire Throw Art : Flare Burn!
[Shizuka] : GO AWAY!
Lea easily dodges the attack, Shizuka's reaction time and aim altered by her current state of mind. The angry girl goes to wildly throw projectiles and chases Lea around to melee her, unaware that her movement paterns are becoming very predictable. Lea keeps dodging and, after a dash where she manages to pass behind Shizuka, she uses the Level 1 wave Dash Art - Warp Decoy, to create an hologram of herself. A trick that rarely works normally, but Shizuka was so hell bent on slashing Lea, she falls in the trap, and just cuts through the clone.
[Shizuka] : W-what?! Wh-
She suddenly feels soft fingers passing through her long hair. Lea had already passed behind her and leaned against her ear to whisper.
[Lea] : You love Lea~
[Shizuka] : ! YOU-!
Shizuka spins around with her chakrams, resuming her reckless attacks, that Lea again easily reads to evade from them. Shizuka is fuming, the mix of her frustration, embarassement and Lea's taunting making her unable to think straight. She tries desperatly to throw arts at Lea, neutral or elemental, her SP Regen barely able to keep up. Lea, on her end, carries on with her denial of combat tactic, running away and dodging, sometimes throwing balls just to incite Shizuka to come closer.
And the bait works : Shizuka comes charging again at Lea, her battlecry announcing her obvious attack. Lea had the time to charge up her Level 2 shock Guard Art - Glitch Time, in which Shizuka falls predictably. She's now frozen in place, slowly drifting in slow-motion, at the mercy of Lea's counter attack.
[Shizuka] : ?!
[Lea] : ...!~
Shizuka grinds her teeth, watching Lea walks closer, to then... hold her hand. She gets confused, and then watches Lea... kiss her finger.
[Shizuka] : ?!
Lea softly and gently rubs her lips against Shizuka's hand, pulling out her tongue as well. A soft moan can be heard, comming out of her mouth, as she gently guides her hand to her chest. Shizuka glares at this dumbfounded, the teases making her face flush as red as the trim on her tunic, and making her whole body tremble. As her hand gets placed on Lea's breast, she can feel for a moment the softness of them, as well as... a little bump, underneath the cloth.
[Lea] : {Han~...}
[Shizuka] : !?
The Guard Art's effect finally fades, freeing Shizuka from Lea's grasp. She backs up, watching her hand, panting, her entire body shivering.
[Shizuka] : g-gh... hh... hgh...
[Lea] : ...?
[Shizuka] : ... hn... g-g... gh-
The PvP Arena suddenly fades. Shizuka had conceded the win. Lea looks at Shizuka confused.
[Lea] : ... w... w-
[Shizuka] : JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALOOONNNEEE!
Shizuka cries out of pure frustration, tears rolling down her face, as she runs along the path towards the Old Hideout. Lea stays stunned for a moment, realizing too late that her teasing was too mean for her friend...
[Lea] : ... w-wait...
[Lea] : I-I sorry! Wait! Sorry!
Lea runs after Shizuka, screaming her apologies in vain.
