A/N: Lyrics in Bold are an Alternate version of Tantric's Breakdown.
"In your life,
You seem to have it all,
you seem to have control
Except deep within your soul,
You're losing it"
"Dad I'm getting a shower soon!"
"Sure thing!" His dad yelled back.
Mason sips his apple carton as he shuts the door. Planning to get out his flannel and gel, he squints when he sees a figure on the floor. His body stiffens and he slowly switches the light on. Oh, it's you?" He asks. Looking at Theo Raeken, laying on the floor with his right arm over his chest. He's in torn jeans and a blue t-shirt with a Khaki jacket. His trainers are neatly parked in the corner of the room. Plain white socks rest on his feet as he casually meets his gaze.
"You stink of Scott!" He notes twitching his nose.
"When you hang out together, that happens" He shrugged, throwing his carton in the bin. "As much as I like visitors, is there any reason, why you're just chilling out, on my floor?" Mason asks.
"I had to tell you something" He coughs, wipes the spittle from his mouth with his left hand.
"Okay?"
He leans up in a sitting position, Hazel eyes boring into him, threatening to melt Mason's his face. "You're a horrible person. Have a great evening Mase" He gets up with lightening speed. Before Mason can squeak a noise of complaint he's on the window ledge.
"Wait!"
"No!"
"Thee, you can't just come into my room, moan about how I stink, insult me and fly out the window without context!" He raises his arms in the air in frustration.
"I can do what the fuck I want" All emotion wiped clean from his voice. Mason hoped that calm wasn't dangerous.
"Agreed. Though I'm sure I heard your stomach rumble, while you were making yourself at home. Melissa gave me a doggy bag of cottage pie. Do you want some?" The silence was enough of an answer. Heck, Theo still leaning on the window was an answer. "You can sit on the bed. Sit, instead of lay, other people on my bed is kinda a pet peeve. I'll be right back" Mason assures him as he goes downstairs, getting more confused with each step of of descent.
