Below the Bottomless Sea
There are stories that say there are merpeople in the depths of the sea. Some say its nonsense, a fantasies, an old sailor tale, but sailors & some others will say that it ain't no legend. That there are people who live under the sea.
It starts with a beautiful, grey-cloudless day. The sea calm & the winds in a friendly tune. Dolphins are seen frolicking in the sea & seemingly splashing water on each other, as if they were playing water-tag on each other. Then out of the somewhat fog air, a ship appears from the background of the dolphins, who swim under the water as to not getting trampled by the ship. They resurface once again, just as the ship is gone & the Dolphins watched as the ship sailed away.
(Singing)
I'll tell you a tale of the bottomless blue.
And it's hey to the starboard, heave-ho.
Look out, lad!
A mermaid be waiting for you,
In mysterious fathoms below~
A young man is seen pulling the sail back to reveal a mermaid, but this wasn't any ordinary young man.
This man had a unique set of hair, a perfect mass of graceful spikes like a star, defining all gravity. The tri-color hair had a jet black color that is as stunning as midnight & at the edging tips of his hair, he had red streaks all around with three streaks of gold shooting through each spike. His golden forelock framed his chiseled features like jagged lighting bolts, with one strand in the middle shooting up to his hair in a lighting bolt style. He's skin is tanned, his smooth skin is firm, but with lean muscles. He wears a tunic that is elaborately decorated, gold cuffs lay on his wrist & arms, a golden earring hanged from both of his ears with a sort of sandal-boots with white & blue, with a dark-purple cape resting on his shoulders. He stood a height of 5'6 ft. Despite his height, his body is well muscular & a bit lean. His features were sharp & elegant, a jaw line cut & sharp. His eyes were deep pools of crimson red, in sharp piercing eyes upturned at the corners lined in black. His voice is a deep soothing velvet, yet baritone & confident the would even rival the confidence of Ra. His most prized possession around his neck is the Millennium Puzzle, the most powerful of the 7 Millennium items. The Millennium puzzle allows the wearer to summon great beasts & monster's to life, it also grants powers of darkness. It was passed down from his deceased father.
His name is Yami Sennen, son of the old Pharaoh Aknamkanon, the present pharaoh of Egypt. The age of 21, the Pharaoh had just returned to the sea from a peace agreement from Greece & China.
His court & crew had just started finishing up the sails for a long travel home, by his side were his animal companions. To his left a white-wolf like dog, named Sky & to his right a brown creature with big eyes & big fluffs of brown hair, named Kuriboh.
"Isn't this great?" Yami said, as he helped finish tying the rope to the dock, looking forward to the sea.
He knew that his court, especially his uncle or cousin, would scold him. Saying that he shouldn't have to do that, but Yami honestly liked helping the crew or servants in his palace, it gave him a way to pretend he wasn't the Pharaoh of Egypt.
"The salty sea air, the wind blowing in your face. A perfect day to be at sea. Right Mahad?" Yami says, looking down on the man he questioned. With Sky & Kuriboh barking & cooing at him in agreement.
The person mentioned is Atem's High Priest of the court, & one of his oldest childhood friends. He stands to about 6'1 ft & an age 26 years old. He wears a long cream tunic that fell a bit past his ankles, held in place by a blue belt with a bit of gold trimming. His brown hair is covered by his head cover, but did not hide his brown eyes & his tanned skin. He also wore one of the many power Millennium items, known as the Millennium Ring. The Millennium Ring possessed the power to find other Millennium items like itself, like a compass. It is also able to seal souls or fragment of souls into objects. Currently, he is puking his breakfast out by the side of the ship, on the upper deck.
"Oh yes...delightful" Mahad moaned in complete sarcasm towards the direction of his Pharaoh. Mahad never was well with the sea, especially when it made him throw up his breakfast.
"A fine strong wind & a following sea...King Muto must be in a friendly-type mood" a sailor says as his is tightening the lines to the ship.
"King Muto?" Yami says with curiosity, while jumping from the upper deck.
"Why, ruler of the merpeople, Pharaoh. Thought you would at least know about him, Pharaoh." Said a newcomer in a teasing voice.
"You know I rarely have time to myself, especially as a Pharaoh of Egypt. So don't you start to taunt be, Bakura." Yami said, a bit of playfulness in his tone.
The one mentioned name is Bakura, who also has tanned skin & is 5'6 ft in height tall, & is 21 years old. He wore a black tunic that dropped to his mild-way calf. The sleeves reached to his mid-way arms, the tunic was held in place with a red belt. A sleeveless red robe has a trimmed of black & stopped above his knees. He had stalk white, semi-spiky hair, & dark brown, near black, eyes. He wore common sandals, but wore no jewelry. He had small muscles, but were very well seen.
"Merpeople. Cousin, pay no attention to what this idiot has to say." Said a semi-powerful voice from the upper deck.
"But ain't nonsense, it's the truth! Come down from your high horse & say that to my face, Seto!" Bakura said, angry at the person on the upper deck.
The person on the upper deck name is Seto, who is 23 years old & a height of 6'1 ft. He is the cousin of Pharaoh Atem & another High Priest in his court. Seto was wearing a creamy under tunic that went down to his ankles, with a blue outer tunic on the top of it. Golden arm cuffs ran from his wrists to his elbows, while a golden belt was around his waist. Elegant sandals covered his feet & a priest hat that covered most of his hair, only a part of his bangs sticking out. His eyes were a shade of clear blue gem eyes. He was among the that held a Millennium item, the Millennium Rod was in his loop on his belt. The Millennium Rod contains the power to control people & seal monsters into object or stone tablets.
"I'm tellin' ya! Down in the depths of the ocean, they live!" Bakura said, trying to prove his point to Seto.
"Now, now. Let's try to take a breath, Bakura, for me?" Said a sweet voice.
This sweet one with a British accent is named Ryou, Bakura's Husband, who stood 5'4 ft & is 19 years old. He wore a red tunic that came to his mid-calf, sleeves reaching to his elbows & held in place by a small black belt. A dark grey outer tunic warded off the ocean's misty chills, sandals decked his feet, but he also wears no jewelry. Ryou has the same color of hair as Bakura, Bakura had a more slightly-pale skin & had a very few muscles than Bakura.
"Sorry, love. But, I'm just saying that if Seto doesn't believe, the ocean will give him a piece of their mind. And Seto won't like it one bit." Bakura said, while holding a flapping fish a bit close to Seto's face.
"Get that fish out of my fa-" Seto was cut off before he finished saying to Bakura.
The fish immediately started to flap away & back into the sea, while in the process of slapping Seto in the face. The fish was able to get away, while Bakura & Yami started laughing at Seto, who was glaring angrily at them for laughing. Neither of them or any of the crew members, noticing that the fish got away & swam into the deep sea.
The fish sighed in relief, that he was able to escape the humans' clutches. While in the water, the fish smiles & starts to swim away from the ship.
While swimming, the fish pass jellyfishes, turtles, & other magical creatures of the deep blue sea. But, above the fish, was something people didn't believe exist, & some that believe that their kind are still within the sea.
A mermaid.
This mermaid is seen swimming, while behind them is more of them. They swim through trenches & caverns to a golden palace in the sea. Shining a bright in the sun & as radiant as gold. As they swim towards it, more & more merpeople are swimming towards it. All of them going through a golden gate entrance to the palace.
While inside, there is a swarm of merpeople, seeming to be sitting on the ground in a sort of colosseum & waiting for some sort of announcement.
Just as every merpeople was seated, an old man appeared from a back entrance. He is known as the advisor & long-time best friend of the King of the Sea. He stood at a height of 5'6 ft & is 67 years old. He is a somewhat very thin old merman. He has light gray hair, huge eyebrows & a gray mustache. He was also known for his sweet & caring personality, only with knowing any law & knowledge of his people. He has a navy-green tail. His name is Arthur Hawkins, advisor for the King of the merpeople.
Behind Arthur, was a row of seahorse. The seahorse started to make trumpets noise from their noses, getting every merpeople's attention, just as Arthur began to speak.
"*Ahem* His Royal Highness, King Muto!" Arthur shouted to the merpeople in the sort of colosseum.
Out came from the back entrance, King Muto, in a clam-carriage with dolphins pulling him. King Muto has grey hair & amethyst eyes & a dark purple tail. He is 5'3 ft in height & is at the age of 72 years old. He wore a purple sash over his shoulder & stomach. In his hand, he waved his trident towards a sort of chandelier, while his people cheering & clapping at him. As he reached his destination, he waved his triton to the chandelier & shot magic at it & made it light up into beautiful light, making his people cheer & clap louder.
"Now presenting the sweet, confident, & Rockstar, my granddaughter Rebecca!" Arthur said, with an obvious fondness in his voice.
Then a young 15-year old girl comes out with a small black songbook, while applauding her. Her name is Rebecca, she has blond hair that she wears in pigtails & has a baby pink colored tail. She had a height of 5'0 ft. Her seashells top were a lighter shade of pink. She has blue eyes that were hidden behind her thick black glasses & was well known for being good at music.
She made her way towards King Muto & swam towards him.
"I'm really looking forward to this performance, Rebecca" King Muto said with a warm voice.
"*Giggling* Oh you Majesty. This will be the finest concert I have ever conducted. Your grand-children, will be spectacular" Rebecca said as she watched King Muto seated in his Carriage-thrown.
"Yes. Especially my little Yugi" King Muto said, fondness & a bit of smugness in his voice.
"Yes, he has the most beautiful voice. Hmm?...*Mumbled*If Yugi-bear would show up for rehearsal once in a while.." Rebecca mumbled the last part a bit irritated.
She swam to a music stand while the crowd was applauding, before going quiet. Rebecca opened her book & laid it out flat, while looking side to side to make sure it was quiet. When she saw that it was she lifted her orchestra stick high, then moved it with her hand excitingly to band of sea creatures. They made light with a mix of jazz music & then the stage that showed five clams that had opened, with three boys & two girls inside of it.
The eldest of the grand-children is named Yusei. He is 26 years old & stood at a height of 5'9 ft. He has light-tan skin, an average looking physique, black hair with gold highlights & royal blue eyes, along with a yellow lined tattoo on the left side of his face that started at the top of his left eye to the bottom side of his chin. Yusei has a very noble & heroic personality. He is selfless, protective, kind-hearted & overall serious person, who deeply cares for his family, especially his youngest brother, Yugi. As the eldest to his siblings, he trained to become a king & acts somewhat the traits of a king. But, does have his own dangerous side. It especially comes out, when Jaden or Yugi are in dangerous situations & need help. He is usually collected, even in the worst situation, he remains calm & stoic. Though he can lose his temper, when he is annoyed, especially if it's from his younger brother Jaden & his other brother Jack. He has a dark-royal blue tail.
The second oldest is named Jack. He is also 25 years old, & stood at a height of 6'0 ft. He appears to look older than Yusei, but was born as the second child to the throne. Jack has purple eyes, fair light skin, & spiked blonde hair, with two much longer strands in front of his ears that hang further down than the rest of his hair, along with a sort of British voice. Jack is somewhat an arrogant & prideful man. He is stubborn, especially when it involves a challenge or on occasions Yusei. But, Jack is compassionate & caring to those he loves, mainly his family & friends. He can somewhat be manipulative, but only when he tries to sneak off the palace or to save his brothers or sisters from danger. Jack has a light-purple & grey tail.
The third oldest is named Mai. She is 23 years old & also stood at a height of 5'9 ft. She has light skin, an average looking body, with slightly large curves, with blond hair that reaches to her waist & violet eyes. Mai is a very stubborn woman, with a prideful attitude & a bit arrogant, but she is kind-hearted & sweet to friends & family, & most of the people in the kingdom. She is overprotective of her youngest siblings, & will do anything to protect them. She had a violet seashell-bra & a dark purple tail.
The fourth sibling is named Alexis. She is 22 years old, & she stood at a height of 5'6.6 ft. She has long, dark blond hair that is sporadically arranged, with a large portion trailing the upper part of the nape of her neck & she has hazel eyes. Alexis is generally a very confident, sweet, caring, brave, & strong willed, though a bit cocky of herself amongst her peers. She sometimes tends to put herself in danger unknowingly, but is always almost careful, mostly around sharks. She has navy-light blue seashell-bra & a light blue tail.
The fifth & second to youngest siblings is named Jaden. He is 20 years old & stands to a height around 5'5 ft. He has brown chestnut hair that is a bit long, but goes up a bit, defying gravity & has dark-hazel nut eyes. Jaden is friendly, optimistic, laid-back, enthusiastic, kind, confident, funny, & a bit of a tease, mostly to his young brother Yugi. He tend to rush into danger without thinking & usually has to be bailed by his older brother Yusei. He has a light-red tail.
As Rebecca had the music the way she needed it, the siblings began to sing.

Ah, we are the grandchildren of Muto.
Great Grandfather who loves us &
Looks after us well.
The siblings sing while looking up at their grandfather, who smiles at them warmly.

And then there is the youngest in his musical debut.
Our sixth sibling were presenting him to you!
To sing a song Rebecca wrote,
His voice is like the sweetest of bells!
They continue singing as Rebecca's smile grows wider & King Muto closes while thumping his fingers against his arm, then opens his eyes expectantly.

The siblings gasped & as did the entire audience when they saw an empty clam shell Rebecca looked at the empty clam & gasp, but in horror. She turned to King Muto, as did Yugi's siblings.
To say that their grandfather was angry, is a way overstatement. You could see the red & angry in his eyes with just one look. It wasn't much to not be afraid when the triton was glowing a bright light, thanks to the King's anger.
"YUGI!" King Muto creamed. His voice filled angry & his triton glowing.
"*Mumbled*Yugi is in huge trouble, when he gets back home..." Jaden mumbled to his siblings, who only nodded their heads in agreement, too scared to say anything. Except for Jack & Yusei, who has a slight stoic face on display, but inside, they both were worried for their youngest brother.
(Yugi...where are you..?) Yusei & Jack thought, as they worried anxiously for Yugi & wondered where he could have gone to.
