"Mom, I don't need a babysitter!"
"You don't, but Anna does." Austin's mom replied, earning a groan from her son in response.
"It was just a party mom! Nothing bad happened. What's the big deal?"
"What's the big deal? Your sister ended up going to your neighbors house to sleep because of the loud music you and your obnoxious friends were playing!"
"I told her to put on her sound proof headphones." He replied awkwardly as if that excuse was going to help him. His mom rolled her eyes and went downstairs when the bell rang.
"She's here!" Anna cheered and Austin rolled his eyes as both his mom and her reached for the door.
"Behave Austin. We'll be back around 2 am." She ruffled his hair and he quickly moved away to fix it. She laughed and went downstairs as he began heading upstairs to his room when he heard his mom talk to the babysitter.
"Ally! So good to finally meet you!"
"Hey Anna! Your mom told me what a fun girl you are and you know what that means? We're going to have a blast tonight!" They all laughed.
"Thank you so much for babysitting Ally. I'm sorry if we ruined any of your plans." Mimi told her.
"Don't worry! I love children and it's not like I had any plans anyway." She joked.
"Great! We're going to have so much fun tonight!"
"Not too much fun honey. You have to go to bed at 8:30."
"But mom!"
"Fine. 9 is the latest."
"Deal!" Mimi turned to Ally.
"We'll be back around 2 am the latest. Is that okay?"
"No worries! I live right a few blocks down!"
"Oh Allison I will not let you walk home that late! If anything, my son can drive you home!"
"It's really not a problem Mimi-"
"Really Ally, I insist!" Ally smiled up at the women and nodded.
"Thank you." Mimi smiled in return.
"Mike lets go we're going to be late!"
"Coming!" He came down and both began to put on their jackets.
"Would you mind cooking dinner for Anna please?"
"Of course!"
"Her brother will most likely be in his room all night so don't mind him." Mimi laughed and Ally nodded politely.
"No worries!"
"Great! See you guys soon!"
"Bye mom!" Anna hugged her mom and dad goodbye and Ally waved at them as they started to leave.
"Have a nice anniversary!" She told them.
"Thanks Ally!" They both replied and then closed the door. Anna went to go lock it and then came up to Ally smiling.
"I'm hungry! Are you hungry?"
"Very!"
"Great! Let's make something to eat. Pizza?" Ally gasped jokingly.
"I thought you'd never ask." They both laughed.
"I'm going to my room first to find my camera to film us and then meet you in the kitchen."
"Sounds good!" Ally then headed to the kitchen and began to take out the supplies to make the pizza when she heard someone's voice behind her.
"You know we don't need a babysitter right?" Austin's eyes went wide when she saw Ally scream and drop the supplies.
"Shoot! Sorry! I-I-you scared me!" Austin couldn't help but laugh. Ally began to pick them up and was surprised when he began to help her as well.
"I didn't mean to." She smiled shyly and nodded. "But I did mean when I said we don't need a babysitter. I'm eighteen, I can take care of my sister." They stood up.
"I am aware of that," she took the last few supplies from him and set them down. "But your mom still wanted me to babysit."
"We won't say anything if you leave. I have everything under control." He nodded and she sighed as she went to go wash her hands.
"She told me about the wild party."
"It wasn't wild!" He said defensively.
It actually was.
But he wasn't going to admit that.
"Sorry, I can't leave." Ally turned around, drying her hands with a towel. He rolled his eyes.
"What if I pay you double?"
"No Austin."
"Set you up with a football player?" Ally narrowed her eyes at him.
"Excuse me?"
"What?"
"Did you really think that would work?"
"Setting you up with one of the players? Yeah. Every girl wants to date one of us."
"Yeah? Well not all of us." Ally replied, annoyance in her voice.
"Alright I guess. How about-"
"How about you leave Anna and I alone? I came here to babysit her, not you so I don't understand why you're annoyed about me being here."
"Because I'm eighteen and-"
"I know you're eighteen! So am I! Go hang out with one of your friends and throw dodgeballs at people or something!" Austin was taken back and confused.
"Why would we throw-" that's when he realized something. "Ally." She looked up at him.
"What?"
"Ally."
"Yes that's my name-"
"I remember hitting a nerd girl on the face with a dodgeball freshman year!" She rolled her eyes.
"Wow thanks for calling me a nerd." Austin laughed.
"Sorry. You were a cute nerd though." He smirked when he saw her blush immediately. She shook her head.
"Y-you, y-you broke my favorite glasses that day!" Austin started laughing.
"Sorry! I meant to hit my best friend Dez." Ally then laughed.
"My best friend Trish meant to throw one back at you but accidentally hit Dez instead." Austin laughed.
"I also remember someone told me you had a crush on me freshman year. Was that true?" Her eyes went wide.
"W-what? Who told you that?"
"Trish."
"SHE LIED." Austin's eyes went wide.
"Chill Ally. I know it was a joke-"
"Great! Because it was! I would never like a jock like you-"
"Hey!" Ally awkwardly laughed.
"Yeah but no I totally did not have a crush on you Austin. Like ever. Okay?"
"Okay..." Ally nodded and looked relieved. Austin was about to question her again when Anna came in with chefs hats and her camera.
"Guess who's ready to make pizza-"
"ME!" Both looked up at Ally shocked. The brunette cleared her throat awkwardly.
"Can I help?" Ally raised her eyebrows at the blonde.
"You sure you know how to make pizza?"
"Please Ally, I know what I'm doing."
"Alright, if you say so."
"Why did I let you join us." Ally mumbled as she threw away the burnt pizza.
"Sorry." Austin winced. Anna sighed dramatically.
"Now what are we going to eat?"
"Why don't we make another pizza?" Austin suggested.
"NO!" Both Ally and Anna responded, making Austin pout. Ally laughed as she and Anna continued to clean up.
"Why don't we order pizza?"
"Sure. I'll order one right now." Austin said as he pulled out his phone. After cleaning up the mess they (mostly Austin) made, they then sat in the living room drawing and coloring. Anna loved arts and crafts and so did Ally. Austin normally would've gone out with his friends by now to some party but for some reason he just couldn't leave.
It's totally not because he wanted to spent time with the cute brunette who was babysitting his younger sister.
"What are you drawing Anna?" Ally asked. Anna picked up her drawing proudly.
"Our dog Bella." She replied as the cute dog came up to them.
"She's so cute!" Ally smiled brightly and went go pick her up.
"Careful she gets defensive with people she doesn't-" Austin's eyes went wide when he saw Bella cuddle with Ally.
"You were saying?" Ally laughed.
"Never mind.."He mumbled. "I guess she finds a good a vibe from you."
"I think so too. I love dogs. I volunteer at an animal shelter."
"Wow. You really do love dogs." She nodded.
"And other animals. I'm an animal lover."
"Cute." Her cheeks went red again.
"Stop that!" Austin laughed.
"Stop what?"
"Flirting with her!" Anna jumped in. He shook his head.
"Austin Moon doesn't flirt like that. He does it better." He smirked. Ally rolled her eyes and turned to Anna.
"Anna I think it's time for you to go to bed, it's eight thirty." Anna sighed but nodded and stood up with her.
"Okay. I had so much tonight Ally! I hope you can babysit me again!" Austin stood up too.
"What about me?"
"Sorry Austin but you're the worst babysitter ever."
"Hey!" Ally laughed.
It was 11:30 when Austin came back from showering and was about to say goodnight to Ally when instead he examined her for a second. She was doing her homework and looked very pretty doing so. He laughed on the inside when he remembered scaring her earlier today. That's when he felt something in his stomach. He quickly snapped out of it and finally came up to her.
What was that?
"Hey I'm going on a walk with Bella. You okay being alone with Anna?" She looked up from writing on her notebook.
"Yeah of course. I'm just finishing up homework." Austin raised his eyebrows and laughed.
"You're doing homework on a Friday night?"
"Better than doing it on a Sunday night." She smirked and Austin clicked his tongue, amused.
"Nice comeback."
"Why thank you." He playfully rolled his eyes and walked out with Bella.
Austin walked down the street with Bella and couldn't help but wonder why he regret going out when he could've spent more time with Ally now that Anna was finally asleep. It's not like he liked her or anything.
Right?
"Stop it Austin. You just started talking to her." Well to be fair, he's always talked to her, just not in that way. He's actually always wanted to but Dallas and her always had an off and on relationship. What did she ever see in him again?
He would be a much better boy-
Wait. He groaned out loud and quickly covered it with a cough when he saw a couple walking by while giving him a weird look. He awkwardly smiled and walked a bit faster to get away from them. This is what he gets for thinking about Ally.
Why can't he stop thinking about her?
Maybe because she's funny without trying to be, she's smart and doesn't care what people think of her.
She's perfect.
"Ugh!" Austin ran a hand through his hair, picked up Bella and started jogging to his best friends house.
Time to get some professional advice.
From Dez.
Austin was about to reach Dez's front door when he saw him in his car parked in the front of his house. Weird. Dez never told him he had plans today. When he got closer he saw that he was actually making out with someone.
How can Dez not tell him he has a girlfriend? They tell each other everything!
Then he got an idea. Austin slowly approached the car and planned on scaring them both by jumping in front of the car.
"Surpris-AGHHHH!"
"AGHHH!" Both Dez and the girl pulled away screaming. Austin put Bella down and covered his eyes.
"What did I just see?!"
"You weren't supposed to see that! Dez, you said he didn't know!"
"I swear I never told him babe! Ow!"
"Don't call me that in front of him you idiot!"
"Don't call me-"
"Can someone pleas explain what's going on?!" Austin yelled at both of them. Dez sighed and unlocked the door, letting Austin and Bella come inside. Once Austin sat down, he began to pet Bella and stared at the two of them patiently.
"Well? I have till 2 am for you two to say something you know?"
"Ugh, fine! Dez and I are dating."
"Yeah, I already got that TRISH." She covered her face with her hands and sunk in her seat.
"Your turn to say something!" Dez sighed loudly and turned to Austin.
"Trish and I are dating."
"Dez!" Austin yelled.
"Alright! It all started after school before your party. Both Trish and I had detention that day, we ended up getting along after I convinced her to not hate me anymore and-"
"Wait, Trish why did you hate Dez?" Trish turned around and rolled her eyes.
"Oh like you wouldn't know! You broke Ally's favorite glasses when you hit her with a dodgeball."
"I didn't do it on purpose though! And I meant to hit Dez! How is it his fault?"
"I know it wasn't his fault...but he's your best friend." Both stared at her with confused looks. She shrugged defensively. "I don't break girl code!" Both rolled their eyes at her.
"Anyway, after the party we started going on a lot of dates and today we finally kissed but you had to interrupt it Austin!"
"It's not my fault I didn't know you guys were secretly doing this!" Austin defended himself.
"It's not my fault either!" Dez defended himself as well.
"Yes it is because you never told me!"
"Well-"
"Both of you shut up!" They both turned to her. "Why would you come here at almost midnight?" Austin's eyes went wide.
"No reason.."
"There has to be? Is Ally okay? She told me she was babysitting you guys today."
"Did she tell everyone? I don't want people to think I can't babysit my own sister!" Dez and Trish laughed.
"I thought you came here to tell me you're falling for her or something." Dez laughed and Trish joined him.
"That would be crazy." She replied and they kept laughing. Austin started to fake laugh with them.
"REALLY crazy!" He fake laughed. They both stopped laughing and gasped at Austin.
"No way!" Dez said.
"You like Ally, don't you?" Austin ran a hand through his hair.
"It's not my fault she's so damn perfect!"
"Aww!" Trish smiled. "Since when did you start liking her?"
"Austin's always liked her since freshman year actually." Dez told her mater of factly.
"What? No I didn't!" Austin defended himself but Dez shook his head.
"Actually you did Austin. Sometimes it just takes a while for people to figure out they're in love with someone. Why do you think you always got annoyed when Ally and Dallas got back together? Because you would get jealous and you knew she wouldn't pay attention to you if she was with him. You've never felt that way with any of your exes finding another lover! And you always make little conversations with her in class so you guys won't lose contact because you've always enjoyed talking to her. And now that you're here it's because you finally realized that you've always loved her and don't know what to do now that you can't deny it. It's that simple Austin, keep up man!" By the time Dez finished his speech both Austin and Trishs jaws were dropped.
"You really are the love whisperer." Trish whispered. Dez grinned.
"Thanks babe." Trish blushed. Austin was still loss at words.
"Dez I can't believe you just said that.."
"Well it's the truth buddy. Now what are you still doing here? It's almost midnight and your parents come home at 2 am. Go home and serenade Ally! Also I don't want you to get in trouble again if you're not home because I still want to go bowling next week." Austin finally snapped out of it.
"B-but what about Dallas?"
"Austin they broke up like 6 months ago." Trish said.
"What?!"
"Babe you never told me this."
"You guys never asked. And Ally doesn't like telling her business to the whole world but she likes you guys. She also updated her status relationship online so.."
"How did we never notice this?" Austin asked more to himself than them.
"Dallas never mentioned anything either." Dez said.
"We thought they were just taking a break." Austin added.
"Nope. This ones for good." Trish replied. "But either way Austin I still think you should listen to Dez. Even if she plans on giving Dallas another chance, I think you should try to stop her. He's nothing but a bad boyfriend to her. He's broken her heart so many times and I'm sick of seeing my best friend hurt. She deserves a guy who will treat her right and I think you're that guy. I've heard rumors about you being a playboy but I've seen the way you act with Ally. You act completely different as if she holds a special place in your heart. Now stop stalling and win her over!" This time Dez and Austin's jaws were dropped by her speech.
"Babe, that speech was way better than mine!" Dez told her.
"No, yours was babe!" Trish grinned.
"Guys!" They both turned to Austin. He sighed and took a deep breath. "You both are right."
"Of course we are." They both said and gave each other a high five. Austin nodded to himself.
"I'm going to do it. I'm going to tell Ally how I feel."
"Great." Trish said.
"Yeah. I'm going to do it tonight." Dez nodded.
"I'm proud of you buddy."
"Yep. And nothing is going to stop me-"
"JUST GO." Both yelled at him. Austin quickly unbuckled his belt, picked up Bella and got out the car.
"Bye!" He waved as he left the couple but then came back. "By the way I still can't believe you guys are dating. Never saw that coming. Like ever." Both Dez and Trish stayed quiet but then Austin smiled at them. "I'm still happy for you guys and wish you the best." They both grinned and Austin then left them, jogging home and finally having the guts to tell Ally how he feels.
Once Austin made it home, he was ready to blurt out his feelings to Ally when he found her crying on the couch.
"Ally?" She quickly looked up and wiped her eyes.
"Hey Austin. Sorry, I didn't hear you walk in." She quickly put her phone back in her pocket and stood up. "Can you give me a second, I'm just going to the bathroom real quick." She started to walk away when Austin stopped her by gently holding onto her wrist. She looked down at his hand, face turning red and then looked up at him.
"What's wrong?" Austin asked her softly.
"It's nothing. I'm fine. Can you please let go?" Austin let go of her hand and she walked away.
Why was she crying? Austin ran a hand through his hair and sat down, now deciding against telling her how he felt. This would be the worst time to confess your feelings for someone. He needed to be there for her first. Even if she didn't want to talk about it, he'd still be there for her. Ally then came back and was surprised to see him still sitting there.
"I thought you'd be in your room by now."
"I was going to check on you first. Are you okay?" She nodded. "Are you sure?" She looked away from him, tears forming in her eyes again and he stood up, pulling her into a hug.
"It's Dallas." Austin began to get angry and worried.
"What did he do?" She pulled away and sighed.
"I found out he cheated on me." His eyes went wide.
"What? When?" Austin asked.
"6 months ago. With one of my so called friends." She ran a hand through her hair. "I'm so stupid. I should've known better than to be with a guy like him."
"You're not stupid Ally. You can't help who you fall for."
"That's the thing. I was never in love with him. I was in love with the idea of being with someone since freshman year that I ended up thinking what we had was true love. But I turned out to be wrong." She covered her face with her hand. "I'm not crying because I'm still into him Austin, I swear." Austin nodded.
"I believe you." She smiled and looked down. He knew she wasn't done talking so he let her continue.
"He cheated on me because I wouldn't sleep with him. That was enough of a reason for him to do something like that while we were together. And no one told me anything or knew about it. Only her, him and his idiotic friends. I luckily found out because one of his friends accidentally told me. Dallas and I were arguing because he wanted to get back together and I didn't and I guess one of his friends took his phone and told me about it." She ran her hand through her hair again and sat back on the cough. Austin did the same, their knees touching making his heart beat faster.
He really was falling for her fast.
But right now wasn't the time to talk about his feelings.
She was hurting and he was going to be there for her as a friend.
"I'm sorry this happened to you Ally. No one deserves to be cheated on. I know how much it can affect their mindset on things and I hope that won't happen to you. You're a great girl and I want you to know that." She looked over at him, a little shocked but he continued. "Dallas is an asshole for what he did and I wish I found out so I could teach him a lesson but fighting won't fix anything and you wouldn't want that." She nodded. "But I know for a fact that even though he's acting like he doesn't care right now I know one day he will regret it so much it's going to physically hurt him. He's going to regret hurting you and want you back more than ever but you're going to be happy and thriving. Because you're just that kind of girl Ally. As corny as it sounds, you really are one of a kind. You're smart, kind, funny, beautiful..I don't know how he could have done something like this." Ally was smiling hard by now and Austin couldn't help but blush, looking down.
"Thank you Austin." She whispered and pulled him into a hug. He hugged her back tighter, rubbing her back softly.
"What are friends for?" She pulled away and smirked.
"Who said we were friends, huh?" She joked. He laughed.
"We've always been friends Dawson. Admit it."
"Yeah but not close friends." She teased. He was about to disagree but realized she was right. He frowned.
"How did we never become close friends throughout middle school or high school?" She shrugged.
"I don't know. I think it's because you've always been popular and I was the nerd."
"I was kidding when I called you that Ally. You're not a nerd."
"You're right. But I was never popular because I never wanted to be part of group like that. Sadly I let my guard down and dated a jock in high school."
"Yeah I don't know why anyone would date those dumb jocks."
"You're a jock too Austin." Ally teased him again and he rolled his eyes playfully.
"Yeah but I'm not like that."
"You're right, you're worse."
"Hey!" Ally laughed.
"I'm joking! You're the nice jock." He laughed and shook his head.
"Sometimes I wish I wasn't part of their group because that was what made me start caring what people thought of me."
"Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes friends can really influence us but I believe you have the power to change that belief into a more positive one. I've been made fun of before but I learned that I shouldn't care what others think because I'm unique and they won't matter once we go off to college. It all ends here in high school to me." Austin turned to Ally and smiled at her, agreeing with everything she said.
"Look at you Dawson. Giving me life lessons." She grinned.
"What are friends for?" They laughed.
"No but seriously Ally, you deserve someone who will treat you right." He didn't hear her reply but he was nervous to look over at her. She remained silent for a few more seconds but her answer made his heart skip a beat.
"Who do you think that person is?" She whispered. He looked up and noticed how close their faces were. Her face was as red as ever and his face started to feel hot as well. He slowly started to lean in, her slowly joining him when the door began to open. They both jumped up and looked over at Austin's parents coming in.
"Hey guys, we're back!" Mike said.
"H-hey guys!" Austin waved awkwardly.
"Hi Mrs. And Mr. Moon!" Ally smiled, catching Austin off guard by how well put she looked after what happened.
"Hi Ally! Thank you so much for babysitting tonight! You were a life savor!"
"I'm right here guys." Austin yelled defensively, making everyone laugh.
"It was really no problem Mimi! We had a lot of fun today!" Both parents smiled and then paid her.
"Austin can you please take Ally home? I don't want her to walk alone at this time." Mimi asked. Austin gulped and nodded.
"Sure mom. Let's go Ally." Ally nodded in response and picked up her bookbag.
"Have a nice night Ally! Thanks again!" Ally waved and smiled politely.
"Thank you, you too! Take care!" They both left and then got into Austin's car.
The whole ride was silent and felt completely awkward for Austin. What surprised him was that Ally still looked very put together and that somewhat bothered him. Did she not feel anything about what almost happened back in his house? Did she not want to kiss him?
What was she thinking?!
Once they finally reached her house Austin parked in front of it and Ally turned to him.
"Thanks for the ride Austin."
"No problem. What are friends for?" Ally nodded and smiled.
"Right, friends." He turned to her this time and smiled.
"Good friends." They both then stayed quiet and Ally sighed.
"See you Monday-"
"Ally, about what happened in my house-"
"We don't have to talk about it-"
"We do! I want to know what it means."
"I don't know what it means."
"Me either."
"So what's there to talk about?"
"There has to be something!"
"Fine! We were just in the moment! Okay? Nothing should've happened. I just got out of a relationship!"
"You said it, 6 months ago!"
"So?! What if I'm still moving on?" Austin stared at her blankly.
"Are you?" She sighed again and shook her head.
"I'm completely over that douche."
"Good. I'm glad." Ally smiled and looked away.
"Why did you lean in?" She asked quietly.
"What do you mean?"
"You obviously don't have feelings for me like that. So why did you lean in?"
"Why did you lean in?"
"Because I like you, okay? Gosh!" Austin's eyes went wide.
"W-what?"
"I've always liked you Austin! I liked you before I liked Dallas. I moved on but deep down I knew I still had feelings for you. I thought I was over you which was why I accepted babysitting and got so upset when I realized I still do. Why did you have to say all those perfect things to me Austin? Why!" Ally covered her face with her hands and looked down. Austin had to take a second to comprehend everything she just said. But when he did, he now knew nothing and no one was going to stop him from saying what he was about to say. Ally was about to leave the car when she heard his response loud and clear.
"Because you're perfect." She turned towards him, eyes wide.
"W-what?"
"I answered your question. Now, to answer your other question about why I leaned in. I did that because I'm in love with you. I've always been in love with you." She shook her head.
"Stop lying to me. I don't need your pity Austin. I don't-"
"Please let me finish Ally." He whispered. She nodded. "I didn't want to admit it but I liked you too during freshman year. And once I finally had the courage to ask you out, you started dating Dallas." He saw her frown. "So yes that was when I gave up and became a playboy because I never liked anyone else the way I liked you. But none of them made me lose feelings for you and I hated that. Every time you and Dallas were off I thought I finally had a chance to get close to you but then you guys would get back together again. Can you blame me for giving up Ally? You broke my heart but I didn't know it at the time. I didn't know I had feelings for you all this time either. Until today. And now I can't get you out of my head and it's hurting me again knowing that you're not mine. Knowing that I can't show Dallas how a guy is supposed to treat you makes me mad because I know I can treat you so much better. Better than he can. So that's why I leaned in. That's also why we were never close friends." By the time he finished, Ally's eyes were wide. He looked down and was surprised when she saw him gently grab his hand, intertwining their fingers.
"I'm sorry." She whispered. He looked up at her beautiful brown eyes.
"For what?"
"Choosing the wrong guy. We could've became close friends, best friends even and maybe end up being something more if it wasn't for me choosing Dallas. I was the one who messed up-" Austin shook his head.
"Don't say that Ally."
"It's true Austin."
"It's not!"
"How do you know?"
"Because maybe that time just wasn't our time. But now it is..and you know what they say, time is precious right?" Ally was grinning by now and Austin caressed her cheek with his other hand. She leaned into it and held onto it with her other hand. Austin couldn't help but start to lean in and she did too. He leaned his forehead against hers and was ready to close the distance between them when he decided against it.
"Ally, what if it's too early for us to-" He was cut off when he felt her hand wrap around his shirt, pull him into her and closed the distance between them.
He let go of her hand to caress both her cheeks, tilting his head to the side to deepen the kiss. She parted her lips and he entered his tongue into her mouth. She began to run her fingers through his hair, making him sigh and try to pull her closer. They had been waiting for this moment and were very happy now that it finally happened. Ally felt herself running out of air and started to pull away but Austin whined. She laughed and leaned her forehead against his.
"I wasn't done kissing you." He mumbled and kissed her lips once.
"Shut up." She laughed.
"What was that for though?"
"Well obviously you weren't going to kiss me anytime soon so I had to improvise."
"When did you become so sneaky Dawson?"
"There's a lot of things you don't know about me Moon." She smirked. Austin rolled his eyes and laughed, her joining him. "Walk me home?" Austin grinned, kissed her lips once more and got out his car. He then made his way to her door and opened it. She grinned and leaned in to kiss cheek.
"Why thank you kind sir."
"Anything for you." He winked and she playfully rolled her eyes. Once they made it to her door she turned around and faced him.
"I had fun tonight." Austin said.
"I did too. Even though it wasn't a date."
"How about you let me take you on a real date tomorrow?"
"A real date? Look at you getting ahead of yourself Moon." Austin smirked down at her.
"Well obviously you weren't going to ask me on a date anytime soon so I had to improvise."
"Hey! Don't mock me!" She tried to playfully punch his shoulder but he grabbed her hand softly and pulled her close.
"I love that I can do this now." He whispered, wrapping his arms around her waist. She looked up, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him softly.
"Mmm. Me too." She whispered against his lips. He pulled away and kissed her forehead.
"I love you." He spoke softly, looking down at her. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned her forehead against his.
"I love you too."
"Thanks for getting Ally to babysit mom. It was actually a great idea." Austin told his mom as he locked the door. Too bad she didn't know he actually meant that it took Ally to babysit for him to finally figure out and admit his feelings. Mimi smiled as she stood up and turned off the tv.
"I'm glad you agree because we asked Ally to babysit again next Friday." Austin smirked as he we went upstairs with his mom.
"Good." He mumbled.
"What was that?" Mimi asked behind him, making Austin jump.
"Nothing!"
Austin checked the time and saw it was 3 in the morning but that didn't bother him. He was just glad that Ally was finally his and he was finally hers. He was going to make sure he made her happy. He knew she was going to do the same which was why he also knew they were going to make it work. They made a good team.
Once he finished showering and finally laid down in bed he plugged in his phone to charge and set it down beside him. He was about to go to sleep when he heard his phone vibrate and lit up his room with the notification. He saw it was a message from Ally and opened it.
TRISH AND DEZ ARE DATING?!
He couldn't help but laugh out loud.
The end.
Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I posted but life became really complicated for me and I no longer had time to write. I had this idea for a while now and I started this one shot a while ago too but didn't know how to finish it. Now that I did though I really liked how it turned out and I hope you did too! Thanks for reading! I hope I'll get to write again soon!
Stay safe!
Anna :)
