Chapter 1

A young woman sighed as she looked back at the pack of rogues she was traveling with. She knew she didn't belong and every male wolf in the pack would try to get a chance with her. She was a wolf with a mysterious past. No one in the pack knew of her past. They only knew her parents had been killed while her pack was being taken over by a rival clan, and that she was exiled. They hadn't known much else about her. but she had a fiery personality to go with that blazing pink hair of hers.

She was unique and the only pink hair wolf seen in centuries. The entire clan of the pink haired wolves were wiped out. Some believed she was a goddess, while others believed she was sent by the devil to deceive those who fall for her. While all alone she was just a lonely lost wolf who had lost her family. A wolf with a name fitting to her hair color.

"Sakura!" One of her rogue friends had called out to her. She was a blonde hair blue eyed beauty. She too was also followed by the heard of rogue males. Although since each of her friends were quite vicious, they tended to steer clear of upsetting them.

"Ino, What's up?" Sakura gave the blonde a curious glance. Her green eyes meeting the blonde's blue ones.

"We're about to raid another wolf's territory." The blonde smiled at the pink haired girl.

"Are we sneaking in as wolves again?" She glanced over to Ino.

"Yep! make sure to mask your scent with the wet mud by the river."

"Right... What about Hinata and Tenten? Are they joining us? I know the leader wants Hinata to start participating."

Ino nodded, her face turning slightly grim at the mention of the leader and Hinata. She then leaned over to Sakura and started to whisper in a low voice.

"He threatened Hinata that if she didn't join us, he'd have her killed..." Her voice trailed off. A heavy silence filled the air as the anger rose in the pink haired wolf.

"How dare he!" She forced her voice into a whisper. "If he harms one hair on her head, so help me goddess I will-"

"You will what?" A low deep voice interrupted Sakura. Ino let out a low growl as the leaders henchman showed up behind her, prowling around with his toothy shark-like grin.

"Kisame..." Sakura growled "Don't you know it's impolite to interrupt a woman's conversation." She glared at the man standing before her. Her intent to kill heavily filling the air.

"Awee, is the little wolf upset that we threatened to kill one of her friends?" He gave a sinister grin

"Well you better be prepared because even if she does join, he's planning to have her killed in a fight" His grin turned darker than she had ever seen.

"And he plans to pin it on you. And no one in this pack will believe a rogue which they barely know." He laughed manically as he trotted away from the two girls.

"We have to warn Tenten and Hina! We have to sneak away before things get bad." Ino's voice now sounding a hint of fear for her friend.

"We will. They usually sleep before we do a night raid. We'll sneak out then. They should be well asleep by dusk." Ino gave a swift nod then ran off to warn Hinata and Tenten, and to let them know of the escape plan.

Sakura began preparations for escaping. first was to get the pack to fall asleep heavily instead of their usual light sleep. She planned to poison the alcohol for the dinner that night. with a scentless poison that would make them sleep deeply for at least several hours. For this to work she needed to be put on kitchen duty, and she knew exactly how.

"You bitch!" Sakura got kicked across the room by one of the larger males in the room.

"You fucking bit me over me trying to give you a nice time!" He growled and the leader walked in glaring at the larger male, before punching him in the stomach.

"That bitch is off limits to the likes of you." He said before shoving his fist into the males chest and ripping out his heart.

"And you!" He glared at Sakura, she looked at him with fear clear across her face. He let off a massive amount of killing intent, stronger than her own. She knew he was once an alpha of a clan before he massacred his entire clan. causing him to be a rogue. Only his little brother managed to escape.

"Itachi I..." She barely managed to speak before he gripped her by the throat and lifted her off the ground. She clawed at his hand, her lungs begging for air as she struggled to get free.

"Kitchen duty." Were his last words before he flung her across the room towards the kitchen. Sakura landed hard on the floor. Every ounce of her breath left her lungs as she slid into the wall.

'Bingo' She thought to herself as she picked herself up and walked into the kitchen. Not one of the normal wolves around there would dare touch her. But the leader and his men were the ones she had to be weary of. She took in a breath as she entered the kitchen area. Her eyes scanned the scurrying wolves trying to prep the dinner.

She walked by the keg of alcohol before glancing around to see if anyone was paying her any mind. All of the others were too busy to notice. She quickly slid herself behind the Barrel to open the lid just enough to slip in the poison before closing it and quickly concealed the vile as she heard the head chef approaching her.

"What are you doing?" He glared at her, suspicion clearly dancing in his eyes.

"I was trying to hide so I didn't have to do any of the work..." She whimpered, quickly putting on a facade to hide her betrayal.

He growled at her before yanking her long pink hair out from her hiding place and shoving her hard toward the vegetables. "Well there's no slacking here, you either work or get your hands cut off!" he let out one more growl as he watched her begin cutting the vegetables.

Dinner time had finally come around and Sakura was wiped out from all the kitchen duties. She never realized how much work was put into a kitchen to feed a pack of hungry rogues. Sakura joined her friends at the dinner table. Giving them a small smile and a wave.

Once arriving at the table she whispered Hinata's ear, who was sitting closest to her, low enough so the other wolves hyper hearing couldn't catch her.

"Don't drink alcohol today" She made sure the others knew and each gave her a knowing nod. Grabbing each a glass of water instead of alcohol. Little did Sakura and her friends know, someone was watching them from the shadows. Paying attention to their every move.

At Dusk every wolf in the area was asleep. The girls were packing a small bag and were getting ready to leave.

"Hinata, did you pack the medical supplies?" Sakura whispered

"Y-Yes!"

"Tenten, you have the water?" Ino chimed in quietly

"Right here!" She nodded lifting her thumb towards her backpack.

"And I've got food and a few snacks." Sakura grinned

"And I've got the clothes." Ino chirped.

"looks like we are ready. Let's get going girls." Sakura smiled as they move out the tent and start charging towards the forest. It was time for a change and the girls were ready to move forward. Sakura and the girls ran as fast as they could when she suddenly halted and shoved Hinata out of the way, just barely being missed by the dagger herself. All eyes were on the trees when they seen Itachi standing on a branch. Sakura took a step forward and held her arms out to defend the girls.

"Girls, run!" She shouted as each of the girls looked at each other before standing beside her.

"No. If you fight, we fight." Tenten spoke first as she stood beside Sakura, preparing for a fight.

"I wont back down." Ino said standing on the other side of Sakura.

"W-We have to stick t-together!" Hinata stuttered as she stood beside Tenten. Each of the girls took the others hands as they all glared at Itachi standing in the trees. He stood there watching their display.

Itachi jumped down from the trees and stood before Sakura, glaring her down.

"Pathetic. Each one of you. You thought you could escape me? Your little poisoned drink was a good idea. I'm surprised you thought of that. But it wouldn't work on me." He inched closer to the girls bit by bit, the girls backing up with each step he took.

Itachi's hand slowly reached for Sakura's neck when he paused, hearing a loud howl erupting from the forest.

"You're lucky today you bitch!" he slapped Sakura hard before charging back towards the rogue pack, Sakura cringed at the slap, her cheek turning a shade of red with a hand print. She sighed in relief at his leaving but then another problem arose.

"Sakura! We have to run!" she heard Tenten bark, but before they had the chance they were surrounded by a pack of wolves, led by a tall male wolf with Jet black hair and a dark pair of onyx orbs. His eyes reflecting his anger at the intruders. Sakura turned around to face the tall male, and when their eyes met, she felt it.

Her eyes widen and her heart began to race, her palms became sweaty, and her body instantly wanted to reach out to touch him.

Green eyes clashing with onyx. He gave her a smirk as he walked over to her, and only one word slipped out of those luscious lips. "Mate."
