Chapter 2
Sakura and her friends were surrounded, she stared at the man before her feeling every fiber in her being tell her to wrap her arms around him and never let him go. Although that smirk on his face made every bit of her want to reject him. What's worse was how smooth his voice was. His voice was so deep, it was alluring, making her want to jump his bones right then and there.
"Sakura" She heard Ino whisper beside her. "Did he just call you his mate?" She couldn't believe it. Her mate was this handsome piece of wolf? And from the look on Sakura's face she could tell she wanted to reject him.
"Hn, bring them all back to the pack house. Put them in the cellars until I decide what to do with this one." He gestured towards his pink haired mate. and before they could even have a say, they were picked up and dragged to the pack house.
The tall dark haired man sighed, sifting through some papers as if looking for some unknown object.
"Sasuke!" He groaned as he looked at the door to see his annoying blonde headed Beta standing there.
"Naruto, what is wrong with you?" He glared at the blonde, condemning him silently for never knowing how to knock before entering.
"I smell my mate!" Sasuke tilted his head before pinching the bridge of his nose.
"You mean sense her...? I doubt you can smell her from here." Sasuke rolled his eyes.
"Well.. Heh heh, yea, but she's here! In the pack house somewhere."
Sasuke rolled his eyes again. There were plenty of female wolves in the pack house. It wouldn't surprise him that she was in the pack house.
"Naruto there's plenty of female wolves in this house, She's probably upsta-"
"No!" He responded, interrupting Sasuke mid-sentence. "It's a new scent. A different feeling than I've ever felt with the wolves that's been here the whole time."
Sasuke paused for a minute then realization hit him. The rogues he brought in. One which was his mate.
"Dumb ass. follow me." Sasuke gestured to the dumbfounded Naruto before exiting the room. The blonde instantly turning to follow suit.
"Sakura, what do you think they're gonna do with us?" Ino finally spoke up filling the silence in the air.
"I have no idea. We have been down here for a few hours now. It's probably daytime by now. I'm sure they'll come sentence us soon."
"T-They won't kill us r-right?" Hinata peeped, she sounded so frightened the other girls felt a pang of sadness in their chest.
"Who knows. I don't even know what clan this is." Tenten huffed, leaning against the brick wall of the cell. They suddenly heard a door swing open at the top of the stairs and see a blonde boy tumbling down the stairs, a groan coming from him as he gave a sheepish grin to the girls. Then his eyes locked with Hinata's and his heart almost bounced out of his chest, he walked over to the cage and reached his hand towards the black haired maiden before him, gently brushing a strand of hair out from her face, placing it behind her ear.
"Beautiful..." He mumbled barely above a whisper. Only Hinata caught it, causing her to blush and look away from the gorgeous blue eyes that drew her in. His touch sent tingles all through her body like a shockwave of happiness, causing her to shudder.
"Get your hands away from her!" Ino growled, pushing Naruto away, grabbing hold of Hinata, and pulling her further back into the cell. Naruto gave a very hurt expression when he noticed the slight fear that appeared in Hinata's face once she finally came to. What happened to make this beautiful wolf make such a fearful expression like that. Naruto then turned to Sasuke and growled at him.
"Let them out now! One of them is your mate, and she is mine, we should at least let them see we can be nice!" He glared at his beta in front of him, Sasuke sighed then looked to the pink haired female, seeing her angry glares toward him made him smirk at her. She was going to be enjoyable to break. He wanted her to be his, and she was in an obvious rebellion.
"We will see." Sasuke turned on his heel so his back was facing them. "If she accepts me, then I just might let them free." He soon walked up the stairs and left them staring at the empty space where he once stood. Naruto let out a sigh before turning back to the girls, giving them his biggest, goofiest grin.
"Don't worry, I promise I'll get you girls out of here." His eyes then turned to Hinata, smiling at her. "What's your name?" He smiled ever so gently, making her feel at ease.
"H-Hinata…" She barely whispered, giving him a shy smile. She finally smiled at him. He jumped in the air feeling all the joy swell up inside of him. His heart bursting with joy. He couldn't hold back his excitement. He then looked over to her once more. Seeing her turning six shades of red.
"My name is Naruto. I'm so excited to finally meet you" He couldn't stop grinning, while the other girls paused and watched the display between the two, unsure what to make of it. Realization finally hitting them, and their mouths dropped.
"Hina, you don't mean…?" Ino began to question, the girl slowly shrinking to the ground out of embarrassment slowly gave her a soft nod.
"He's her mate." Tenten finished the blonde's sentence, the blonde's eyes widening. Sakura just walked over between the two, giving Naruto the hardest of glares.
"If you dare to let harm come to her, I swear I will rip those family jewels right off your body and slam them down your throat." Every word of Sakura's threat dripped with Venom. The blonde turning ten shades of white, you could almost see through him. The boy rapidly shook his head, fear radiating off of him like he was seeing a demon wolf preparing to eat him for dinner.
"I swear I'll protect her with my life!" Feeling pleased by his response, Sakura went back and sat in the corner of the cell, allowing her body to slide down the wall to sit on the floor.
"I'll convince him to let you go I promise!" Naruto shouted as he ran up the stairs to the exit. The girls all glanced at each other, suddenly they were all laughing.
"He's an interesting one. Way to go Hina~" Tenten chimed, giggling to her hearts content.
"He's an Idiot, but he's kinda cute." Ino gave Hinata a knowing smirk. He was totally her type and Ino couldn't help the happiness that swelled within her.
"Looks like Hina and I have found our mates. I'm still unsure of mine though." Sakura sighed, looking off to the side.
"I-It'll be ok." Hinata chimed in, gaining all their attention.
"How are you so sure?" Sakura gave her a questioning glance.
"I-I just know. H-he's not as bad as he seems." She gave Sakura a knowing smile. Hinata walked over to her giving her a hug.
"There's one thing though." Sakura sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Even though we have found our mates in this clan… What about Tenten and Ino?" Suddenly the happiness sank, the girls had been together for an exceedingly long time. Without their mates, Ino and Tenten were not guaranteed a spot to stay. Top it off, what if their mate were from another clan. They would have to leave and become a part of those clans.
"And I can't be a Luna of a pack." Sakura looked down. "I'm an exile and a rogue, my clan had been taken from me when I was young, I was never trained to be a Luna, nor was I ever in a leading position.
Ino glared at Sakura before rearing her hand back and slapping her hard. Her face stung and she widen her eyes in shock.
"Can't be a Luna? Your past means nothing! And just because you were never trained to be a Luna does not mean you can't learn now. And I swear if you say you can't be a leader, I will slap you again because you can. Who do you think has been following you since you joined the rogue pack?" Ino huffed.
Each of the girls gave Sakura a knowing look. They had all followed Sakura's lead for years. She was one hell of a leader to them.
"Sakura, I know you're scared because your parents were killed. But you too are an Alpha. You never wanted anybody to know, but you told us. You had faith in us, and you led us bravely. Who was it that lead us out of the rogue pack when Hina was about to be killed? And who stood there, ready to die, to protect us when Itachi found us?" Tenten questioned her, Sakura's eyes fell to the ground, glaring at a pebble on the floor.
Sakura then felt a pair of small cold hands grace her cheeks, pulling her face up to look at her. Hinata gave her a small gentle smile. "You would be an amazing leader. I believe in you. You've saved us all so many times." Sakura sighed in defeat. Their words hitting home in her heart, swaying her to agree to be his mate. But there was one problem, that attitude of his was going to make her rip his heart out. That smug smirk that's always gracing that ever so handsome face of his made her want to dig her claws into his face, but her wolf made her stop. Her wolf made her want to wrap her arms around him and never let go. She wanted to touch him, she wanted to feel him embrace her. Feel his heavy breath against her neck, his lips, his hair, feel him. She couldn't stop the cravings she felt for him.
'Why does this wolf have to be so damn strong when it comes to her mate.' Sakura thought to herself. She couldn't stop thinking about him.
"Ok, I'll give it a chance." The girls all squealed and jumped on top of her, hugging her and giggling happily.
"And don't worry about us!" Ino grinned.
"We will find our mates and come back to see you as much as you want!" Tenten gave Sakura her best smile.
"If only we had drinks now." Tenten sighed, she loved to drink. Sakura wondered if Tenten was going to turn into a bottle of alcohol in her next life.
"Well girls, even so, we have to wait till they come back before we can even decide on what to do."
"Well…" Tenten grinned as she reached into her bra "Who wants to play Poker?!" She laughed, pulling a deck of cards out from her bra. All the girls laughed.
"How about we spice it up then?" Ino's grin grew mischievous.
"And how exactly would we do that?" Sakura gave her a questioning, yet suspicious glance.
"Strip Poker!" Hinata's face turned beat red and like that, she was out.
"Oi Ino!" Sakura smacked her in the back of the head gaining a whine from the blonde and with that, the game began.
