Kiss the Boy
The sun shined brightly as Egypt came into the morning.
A familiar pair of tri-color boys were inside a carriage with a servant & a single horse about to pull them through the palace entrance. Yami waved goodbye to Seto, Mahad, & Mana as they began to move through the gates.
"*Sigh peacefully*Isn't it romantic? A carriage ride through the town, eating together, perhaps even dancing. Don't you think Master, Priest Seto." Mana said, both her hands under her cheek while her elbows leaned over the balcony, watching Yami & Yugi leave.
"Yes, it quite is, Mana. Of course, Seto wouldn't know anything about that. After...Seto is currently shunned from a certain puppy~" Mahad teased.
Seto snapped his head, almost making a cracking sound, & glared hotly at Mahad. Let's just say, Seto wasn't always the best lover, mainly because of his teasing & making fun of his lover, Joey.
Mahad only responded with a teasing smirk on his face, while Mana was currently using one of her hands to hold her stomach & the other was pressed against her mouth, trying to hold in her laughter.
The carriage began to exit from the entrance of the palace. They were heading into town to show Yugi around the town. Once they arrived, Yami waved goodbye to the servant & gently grabbed the little one's hand & pulled him forward. Yami wore his usual Pharaoh attire, while Yugi had a similar outfit from the one he wore at dinner, but it was all white instead. Yami couldn't help, but smile as he saw the little one's eyes shine bright at all of the stuff that was around the market. The crates of chicken, vendors with goods & food items, & well-made jewelry. They both kept walking down into town, neither of the noticing two shadows following them.
Rebecca & Malik took the first shift on watching Yugi, making sure that the kiss would happen. Luckily, a river went around most of the town of Egypt & it was pretty deep, so it allowed them to swim & hide.
'Has he kissed him yet?' Malik whispered to Rebecca. His head slightly out of the river.
Rebecca peaked her head out more, trying to have a glance at the tri-color figures. But, only saw Yami & Yugi holding hands, with Yami looking at Yugi & Yugi looking at everything in fascination.
'Tsk! Not yet.' Rebecca whispered back, her voice filled with only slight disappointment.
'Oh! Dammit!' Malik whispered angrily, slightly hitting his fist against the water.
As Yugi & Yami walked around, Yugi heard the sound of a person talking to another. Curiosity got the better of him & he turned his head to see a man & a woman together, they seem to be talking. Until...
"Oh Jason!" The woman exclaimed at what the man said.
Yugi then saw the two of them hug & kiss each other, which made Yugi blush & turn his head back forward.
(I-I wonder...is that what my kiss with Yami will look like..?) Yugi thinks, blushing at the thought of him & Yami kissing.
Even though he was known for his beauty in the sea, he never kissed someone. Even though he found some of the people that liked him looked somewhat cute, but for some odd reason; they always gulped at the end of their sentence, usually to ask Yugi out, & make up some shakily excuse & swam away, quite fast. (CoughYuseiCough)
Yugi then saw a crowd of people together, each person had another one with them. They all seem to be going in circles with their hands connected together, while moving around together, their hands still connected together. Yugi titled his head in confusion, until a lightbulb went off on his head. That was dancing! Yugi excitedly pulled Yami's hand & made his way to the dancing people.
Yami got confused a bit at this, but then saw the group of dancing people & understood what Yugi wanted. Yami smiled as his silent partner stopped & turned to him, while trying to mimic the people around them. Yami understood that his silent partner didn't know how to dance & began to take the lead. As Yami put Yugi's arms around his neck & Yami put his arms around Yugi's waist, trying to calm down the shiver that went down his pine at the mere contact of Yugi. They both danced for a while, not noticing that other people began to leave, only enjoying themselves. After a while of dancing, Yami took Yugi to a fruit vendor & both of them began to eat. They continued to look around, Yugi looking at everything he saw & Yami just watching him, adoration in his eyes. Yami couldn't help, but feel amazing & warm around Yugi in less than 48 hours, but he didn't mind it one bit.
After a while of looking around, mostly Yugi looking, they both made it back to the carriage & began to ride down another path, leading to a clearing filled with the usual sand, river & surprisingly a few flowers. As they rode, Malik & Rebecca watched & followed them, only jumping when they felt something behind them. Luckily when they ruined, they only saw Marik, Jack, & Yusei.
'So, Kitten, Rebecca! Any kissing?' Marik whispered.
'No. No, not yet.' Malik whispered back, shaking his head disappointedly.
'Grr...well they better start getting crackin'! Or Yugi is doomed!' Marik whispered back angrily, while crossing his arms.
Everyone grimaced at Marik' blunt whisper, but couldn't help but agree. If Yugi couldn't get a kiss sooner or on the last day, then he would forever be a slave to the Sea Sorcerer.
Yusei clenched his fist in the water at thought, before breathing deeply to calm down. "Well there isn't time to waste. Come on, they're getting away on that weird...riding thing, if we don't hurry, we might not be able to help Yugi. Even if he has to...kiss a human..." Yusei said, before diving into the river & following the carriage.
Everyone watched Yusei in worry. They knew how hard it was for him to see Yugi with a human, their mortal enemy. Not only together, but also Yugi being in love with the enemy, which only hurt Yusei more & they all knew why. All of them looked at each other, before following Yusei's lead & swimming after Yugi.
Later that evening, it began to turn to night & the tri-color partners were still out. The sky began to become soft shades of red, pink, purple, & some trees hung wispily over a few lily pads. It looked like the perfect romantic setting.
After leaving the village, Yami told his servant to take them to the large Nile River & to wait for them as he & Yugi stepped out of the carriage. As Yami & Yugi left the carriage, Yami left his cape on the carriage & his crown, while keeping his other stuff on. Yami then grabbed a boat, which was left on the sand by the Nile River, & gestured his hand for Yugi to get in it. As Yugi did, Yami began to push the boat into the water & hopping inside of it before it reached far. Yami began to row gently with the paddle, while Yugi turned his head to look around the river & watch Yami.
"Oi! Move over, Rebecca! I can barely see anything with you blocking the view." Malik complained.
Successfully, Yusei, Jack, Marik, Malik, & Rebecca managed to catch up with Yugi & Yami to the Nile River. They were at a safe distance to talk instead of whispering all the time. But, nothing was really happening like they hoped.
"Nothing is happening! I mean, does this idiot see Yugi. No offense Kitten-" Marik said to a somewhat offended Malik, before talking again; "Only one day left & that Pharaoh ain't puckered up once!"
Rebecca nodded her head, before speaking; "Alright! As much as I hate it, this situation calls for some vocal romantic stimulation. So just stay back & leave it to me." Rebecca said as he swam a bit closer to the boat.
Rebecca was at a good distance from the boat & a good distance to be heard by it. "*Clears Throat*Wa, wa, wa, wa-wa-" Rebecca began to softly tune, but failed miserably.
"Wow...Some should find that poor animal & put it out of its misery." Yami said, grimacing at the horrid screeching sound.
Yugi nodded his head slightly, also grimacing at Rebecca's poor attempt at making a romantic atmosphere. Yugi knew that romance music wasn't at all Rebecca's specialty. Rock & Jazz music; yes. Romantic music; Nada.
Yusei & Jack had their arms crossed with obvious irritated expressions & tick marks on their foreheads, while Marik & Malik had their hands over their ears.
"Geez, by the sea gods! I'm surrounded by amateurs!" Marik exclaimed, glaring at Rebecca.
Rebecca was too much into her music, that she didn't hear Marik insult. However, Jack had enough & mumbling something under his breath. Yusei, Marik, & Malik saw this & wondered what Jack will do, only to be surprised as Jack knock Rebecca out with a single hit to the head. Jack then picked up Rebecca & tossed her over his shoulder like a rag-doll. Jack then proceeded to a shocked group before tossing Rebecca at Malik, who managed to catch her.
"Malik, you tie her up under the water. Marik, you find some sea creatures under the water & bring them to me." Jack ordered, not giving an explanation.
Malik & Marik wordlessly followed what Jack instructed them to do & swam into the Nile River. While they were gone, Yusei looked at his brother with an eyebrow raised, looking for an explanation for Jack's sudden orders.
Jack sighed, before speaking; "You want something done, you've got to do it yourself. And, well it may have been a while, but...it's time to see if I still got it."
Yusei looked slightly confused at Jack's words, until he realized what exactly Jack meant. Before Yusei could say more, Malik & Marik appeared, along with a few Fish, Ducks & Turtles. Jack beckoned the sea creatures & whispered to them a plan. Yusei, Malik, & Marik watched as Jack whispered to the sea creatures, but saw that it was already done & that the sea creatures swam away. They then saw Jack turn, but with a stick in his hand & swimming to the sea creatures, which made the others follow him.
They then saw the Turtles flip over, on their backs against the water, & the Ducks using the turtle's stomachs. Jack then turned to the group with a smirk plastered on his face.
"First, we got to create...the mood" Jack said, slightly seductive & turned back to the animals; "Percussion." Jack says, as the Ducks played on the turtles stomach, making a soft drum sound.
Yusei, Malik, & Marik watched as Jack was making somewhat music, acting as if the stick was a conductor-stick.
"Strings. Winds." Jack said, looking at the crickets. "Words. *Singing softly*There you see him, sitting across the way..." Jack begins to sing.
Yusei, Malik, & Marik looked at Jack in shock & surprise, especially Yusei, at Jack actually singing?! Yusei was the most surprised, knowing that his brother rarely sang when they were children & never sang after the incident.
"...he don't got a lot to say, but there's something about him." Jack continued to sing softly.
As he heard the mysterious voice sing, Yami began to look more closely at Yugi, no longer using the paddle. Yugi was still enthralled by everything around him, but snapped out of it when he noticed his brother, dangerously close to Yami's left ear. Jack managed to sneak up on the boat & thanks to his height, was able to stand straight up & lean over to whisper in Yami's left ear.
'*Whisper-singing*And you don't know why, but you're dyin' to try. You wanna kiss the boy~' Jack whisper-singing, & immediately goes back down into the water as Yami turned his head.
"Did you hear something?" Yami asked Yugi, feeling breath on his ear.
Yugi only shrugged his shoulders, acting as if he heard anything. But deep down, Yugi couldn't believe what he heard, his big brother was singing?! Yugi never once thought that his big brother sang at all, at least since Yugi was born.
(But...what happened to make Jack stop singing?...Was it because-) Yugi began to think, but was brought out of his thoughts.
But, he couldn't think more on the matter, until he heard two familiar voices singing & what they sang made Yugi blush heavily.
(Marik & Jack Singing)

Yugi blushed a new shade of red as he heard Marik & Jack sing in a slight seductive tone, making Yugi feel weird & tingly. While Yami was having a hard time not looking at Yugi & using the paddles once more, knowing that the mysterious singing voice was right about him wanting Yugi, even though he was a bit confused by his feelings.
While on the other side of the Nile River, Malik was currently sweating buckets & moving away from a demonic aura Yusei. Yusei knew he would hate this plan, but the singing of that particular dialogue in the song only made him more angry. He knew it was for the sake of his baby brother, but that didn't mean he had to like it. He only got angrier as Jack & Marik called on other sea creatures from below;
"Sing with us now." Marik & Jack said, as they dipped their heads into the water & looked at the sea creatures.
Then as Yami used the paddle, frogs hopped onto it & sang along with Jack & Marik, Yami not noticing the frogs at all;

Look at the Pharaoh too shy, he ain't gonna kiss the boy.

Too bad, you're gonna miss the boy...
That last line caused Yami to look at Yugi again, but also got his eyes locked with Yugi's. Both of them looked at each other deeply as the music in the background made a gentle tune.
"You know...I feel kind of bad for not knowing your name, & for only calling you little one." Yami said sheepishly; "Maybe I could guess? Is it, umm...Eros?" Yami asked.
Yugi made a somewhat disturbed face, he didn't know why, but that name seemed weird to him. Yami coughed, a blush coated his face as he realized what he had said.
"Okay, um..please forget that. Umm, how about...Heba?" Yami asked again.
That question only received another 'No' by Yugi, who just shook his head.
"Roman?" Yami asked once more, still receiving a 'No' from Yugi.
'Yugi! His name is Yugi!' Marik whispered irritatingly in Yami's left ear, before being pushed down by Jack into the water.
"Yugi..?" Yami questioned softly.
Yugi nodded excitingly as he heard Yami say his name, which caused Yami to look at Yugi in shock & a bit of excitement.
"Yugi! That's a...sweet name. Okay, Yugi." Yami said as he gently grabbed Yugi's hands into his & stared into Yugi's eyes.
Yugi blushed at the contact, but didn't pull away. Instead, he gently held Yami's hand, also staring into his eyes.
As Yami & Yugi stared deeply into each other's eyes, neither noticed what was going on around them. Without either of them noticing; Jack, Marik, & Malik, who hurryingly came to help & leaving a slow swimming Yusei behind him, helped stir the boat from the bottom & into a clear patch of water that reflected the light of the moon.
(Jack, Marik, Malik Singing)

Marik then began to swim down & gather a bunch of different sea creatures; Fish, a couple of Turtles, & Goldfish. While Malik was able to bring over some fireflies to fly around Yami & Yugi, who were still staring into each other's eyes. And finally, Jack used his stick-like conductor & coordinate the fish to sing along with them;

"Whoa, whoa!" Everyone cheered, but neither Yami & Yugi noticed.

"*Singing terribly*Wa, wa, wa, wa-wa-" Rebecca began to sing, managing to free herself from her bonds, only to be hit in the head again by an irritated Yusei.
The singing only continued, thankfully never hearing Rebecca's terribly singing.

Then Jack orchestrated the fish to make spray water from their mouths & form a circle around the boat. The fish did it & luckily got none of the water on Yami & Yugi, & making it look beautiful. But once again, neither Yami nor Yugi seemed to notice or move.
Except this time, Yami & Yugi appear to be moving closer to each other.

All around the boat, the fish began to make kissing noises & hoping to encourage the two tri-color figures. And it manages to do just that. Yami raised his hand up to Yugi's cheek & caressed it gently. Yugi blushed at this, but didn't pull away from the hand & seemingly to move closer to Yami's face. More specifically, his lips. And Yami seemed to have the same idea.
(Jack, Marik, Malik, & Sea Creatures Chanted)

Go on & kiss the boy.
All of the sea creatures, Ducks, & merpeople wait in anticipation as Yami & Yugi's faces come closer to each other.
"Go on &-" Jack, Malik, Marik said together.
Currently Yusei was slightly choking Rebecca as he watched his baby brother, about to kiss.
(This is it!) Yusei thinks anticipatingly.
Yami & Yugi had their eyes mostly closed & their lips were almost touching each others. This was truly it!
(Jack, Marik, Malik, & Sea Creatures Chanted)
Kiss the boy~
Unexpecting, the boat had tilted over, causing Yami & Yugi to open their eyes in surprise & fall into the water. Marik, Malik, & Jack's jaws dropped in shock, while Yusei facepalmed himself, realizing that their plan had failed. Yusei then saw a head rise from the water & instructed for everyone else to get down, which they followed immediately.
As soon as he was in the water, Yugi began to flail his arms frantically. He didn't know how to swim in his human form. Luckily, Yami rose up from the water & saw Yugi in distress.
"Whoa, hang on!" Yami said, as he swam to Yugi & wrapped his arms around Yugi's waist; "I've got you, little one. You're safe now." Yami said, trying to calm Yugi down.
Yugi breathed a sigh of relief & wrapped his arms around Yami. Yami didn't mind this at all & he lifted Yugi up & carried him bridely style. Yami began to swim towards the shore, luckily the water wasn't too deep once he started swimming forward.
Yami managed to arrive on the sandy shore, which caused the slave to see him & ask him, if he was alright. Yami nodded at the servant & told him to be ready to leave. Even though the servant was hesitant to leave the Pharaoh, he turned back as Yami began to walk forward. Yami sat inside the carriage, with Yugi in his lap as he noticed that Yugi starting to fall asleep a bit. The carriage started to move as Yami smiled at a sleeping Yugi & wrapped his cape over Yugi's small boy. And without thinking about it, Yami placed a kiss on Yugi's head, staying there for a few seconds, before releasing himself with a smile across his face. Yami then laid his head back against the carriage's back & breathing softy, a smile still plastered on his face.
Yusei, Jack, Marik, Malik & a finally conscious Rebecca watched the carriage go away, all of the sea creatures & Ducks saw away in disappointment. All of them looked at each other in pain & sorrow, this was their last chance & it failed & that means...they might lose Yugi. None of them said anything. Yusei only broke the silence by diving into the water & swimming away, most likely back to the Pharaoh's palace to see Yugi. All of them looked at each other, before following Yusei.
Neither them, nor Yami & Yugi noticed the two familiar glow eyed figures, that were chuckling to themselves, were in the background.
