It was now October. Julie Broderick was getting ready for her shift at the Miami International Airport, where she worked as a ticket agent. She started there at the age of twenty-one and had been there for eight years. She loved her job. She spoke five different languages in order to communicate with people from other countries. She'd just gotten out of the shower and looked in the bathroom mirror. She had light brown eyes, long chestnut wavy brown hair and fair skin. After she got ready she fed her cat Tinkerbell she went to work. She'd been there for a few hours. She was working with her best friend Sally. They'd started at the airport at the same time.

"Hoping to see your favorite customer?" Sally asked teasingly.

"What are you talking about?"

"John Cena."

"Well I do think he's hot but he would never go for me."

"Why do you think that?"

"I'm a twenty-nine, almost thirty year old nobody." "I'm not some rich model or actress or wrestler, I'd just a ticket agent in an airport."

"What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing but it doesn't get the attention of people like John Cena." "Plus I don't think he's over his break up yet."

"With the Bella twin?"

"Yeah."

"I wonder why the broke up."

"I don't know but I think it had something to do with that dance partner of hers."

"From Dancing With The Stars?"

"Yeah." "I watched it a couple times." "They seemed why more friendly then they should've."

"Do you think they were sleeping together?"

"I'm leaning towards yes but I don't know."

"Usually gut instinct isn't wrong."

"Yeah I know."

A few days later Julie was taking her lunch break in one of the airport cafes.

"Hi Julie." John said coming up to the table.

"Hi John."

"Can I sit down?"

"Sure." He sat down. "How are you?"

"Good." "You?"

"I'm good."

"Where are you going?"

"LA, for a month." "What have you been up to?"

"Working as usual, dreading my upcoming birthday."

"Why?"

"I'm turning thirty."

"Thirty?" He said surprised.

"Yeah."

"I thought you were twenty-four or twenty-five."

"Thank you, but nope."

"When is your birthday?"

"The sixteenth."

"Are you single?"

"Yes."

"When I come back from LA, would you like to go out to dinner?"

"I would love to."

"Great."

They exchanged numbers. John's flight got called.

"Can I call you later?" He asked.

"Absolutely." He stood up.

"Bye."

"Bye."

Would you like chapters exploring Julie and John's relationship, or do you just want me to skip to months later?
