Together at Last

The sun began to rise, morning was coming. It looked beautiful & seemed to have a color of joy. But, a certain merman wasn't filled with joy...

The nightmare of Anubis was over, Yugi should be happy, but it made him realize that he can't be with Yami. Yugi watched Yami, who was still unconscious on the sand, with eyes filled with sadness & heartbreak. But, Yugi was also being watched.

As soon as King Muto, Yusei, Jack, & Marik found Yugi, Malik came as well along with Rebecca, Arthur & the rest of Yugi's siblings. All of them watched Yugi, all of them feeling sad for their baby brother & friend. Yusei held the triton tightly in his hands.

Yusei was going to give it back to his grandpa, until King Muto shook his head with a smile & told Yusei that it was right where it belonged. As much as Yusei was shocked by this, he held his head up high & bowed to his grandpa, thanking him. But, it didn't matter as he watched Yugi looking longingly at his lover.

"He...he really does love him. Doesn't he..?" Mai asked, even though she knew the answer.

Jack nodded his head softly, before placing a hand on Mai's shoulder; "Yes...it shows just how strong love can be & how strong Yugi is...We can't just stop him from loving someone..." Jack said.

Everyone nodded in agreement, Jack's words being right. Yusei looked back at his grandpa with a sort of look. King Muto nodded his head, knowing what Yusei wanted to do.

"*Sighs*Then I guess there's only one problem..." King Muto said, clear sadness in his voice, but also acceptance.

"And what's that, your majesty..?" Rebecca asks, curiosity in his tone.

King Muto only looked at Yusei, which caused everyone else to look at the both of them in curiosity. Yusei nodded his head & turned to everyone.

"How much we're going to miss him..." Yusei says, adjusting the triton in his hands.

Everyone looked at Yusei in shock & watched as Yusei closed his eyes & lowered the triton onto the water. They saw a concentrated look on his face, & watched in amazement as a bright, sparkling glow of yellow made a path towards Yugi.

Yugi didn't notice the bright glow path coming towards him, until he felt his tail tingling. Yugi looked down to see the bright glow, but didn't pay much attention to that. He was feeling the same thing he felt when Anubis turned him human, his tail was turning into legs!

Yugi looked back up & followed the path, only to see Yusei using the triton to make Yugi have legs. Yugi smiled as he saw the rest of his family & friends crying, but happily. Yusei opened his eyes & sent a smile to Yugi, he was happy to give his baby brother the thing he wanted most.

'Thank you...' Yugi whispered, tearing up a bit.

Yusei, somehow, heard it & only nodded his head, before releasing the triton from above the water.

Yami woke, groaning & grabbing his head in slight pain. Before he could register his thoughts, he saw a head moving from the water & towards him. Yami watched as the head was revealed to be Yugi, wearing the tunic that he wore on their fate & with his arms open. Yami jumped to his feet as he raced towards Yugi & grabbed him by the hips & spun him around in a circle. Yugi laughed as Yami lifted him up & spun him around, before feeling Yami put him down & look at him.

Yami & Yugi both leaned to each other & finally had their first kiss. It felt amazing. But, sadly, the moment was ruined by cat whistles & teasing words.

"Nice catch, Pharaoh!" Bakura teased loudly.

"I must say, well done my Pharaoh." Mahad said, teasing obviously in his voice.

"Good work, Yami!" Mana chanted.

"I'll say...not bad, cousin." Seto teased as well.

"Oh, shut up! All of you!" Yami shouted, holding a heavily blushing Yugi.

"Hold on, I love romance now & again, but how is Yami gonna' produce an heir?" Joey questioned.

Before anyone could question that, Marik popped up & scared the living daylights of some people, mostly Joey & a bit of Seto.

"Actually, mermen are able to produce their own offspring's. With any gender of their lover." Marik explained.

Bakura walked towards the ocean & looked at Marik dead in the eye; "So...does this mean that there is a King Muto?" Bakura asked, stilling at Marik.

Marik looked back equally, before pointing behind him.

"Yep! He's right there, along with his grandchildren & friends. Also, Yugi's friends are there too." Marik said pointing to the mer-people behind him.

Yugi's family & friends waved awkwardly at the humans, while Bakura jumped up in victory & taunted Seto for being wrong. Although, Yami wasn't paying attention to them, but the bundle of a blushing mess that resided in his chest.

"is that true, Yugi?" Yami asked gently.

Yugi removed his head from Yami's chest & looked bashfully to the side; "W-Well...it is true. I just...wanted to tell you myself." Yugi said, looking up at Yami with a red blush adoring his face.

Yami just stared at his face, it looked so much more beautiful when Yugi was looking at him so innocently & nervous. Yugi stared back at Yami, a little concerned when he saw that Yami was just staring at him.

"U-um, Yami...are you okay..?" Yugi asked, making everyone else pay attention.

Before anyone knew it, Yami pounced on Yugi, who squeaked, & kissed him roughly as they landed on the sand.

Yugi closed his eyes as he kissed Yami back, but then felt Yami's tongue. Yugi gasped a bit, but it allowed Yami to slip his tongue in & taste the inside of Yugi's mouth. Yugi moaned at this action, never feeling it before, but it felt so good. Yami was equally pleased. He couldn't get enough of the taste of Yugi. He was so sweet, like strawberries & better than any drink in Egypt.

Only after a minute or two, Yami pulled away from Yugi's tempted mouth, showing a strand of saliva that connected to both of their mouths. Yami breathed a bit hard as he rubbed Yugi's blushing cheek, who was breathing hard from the intense kiss.

Everyone else had blush on their cheeks, even Seto & Bakura, at the exchange of a very passionate kiss between the lovers. Bakura looked at the corner of his eye, to see a deadpanned looking Marik.

"The hell is with that look?" Bakura asked, the blushing coming down a bit on his cheeks.

Marik just looked at him for 5 seconds, before wordlessly pointing behind him. Bakura followed his thumb, as did everyone else when the heard Marik speak, & what the saw made them all sweat-drop;

A Yusei, Jack, & Mai were being restrained from attacking Yami by their blushing siblings & equally blushing Arthur & Rebecca. While King Muto was slightly blushing & hiding a somewhat perverted smirk behind his hand.

Everyone looked back at Marik, looking for a sort of explanation.

Marik only shrugged; "They want their baby brother to be safe." Marik said.

Everyone just nodded numbly, ignoring the lovers that were still staring at each other & on the ground & the three mer-people that were trying to attack their Pharaoh.

"Sooooo...who's ready for a wedding?!" Joey asked excitingly.

2 days Later~

The sound of wedding bells were heard as Yugi & Yami kissed.

They held their wedding on a boat & everyone cheered, but it wasn't just people that were invited. The kingdom of all of the mer-people were below & cheered as well for Yugi & Yami. Yami wore his usual Pharaoh outfit, while Yugi wore a long, white tunic that reached to his feet.

Yugi let go of Yami's hand as he walked to the edge of the ship & looked down at his family & his people. He waved over at Akiza, Crow & Chazz, who all waved happily back. He then saw Malik & Marik, who were slightly crying with smiles on their faces as they waved at Yugi, who happily waved back. Yugi then looked down at his family & smiled. After Anubis, Yusei had taken the throne as King of the Sea, ruled fairly well, & was getting accustomed to the tritons powers & magic. Yugi was proud of him.

Yusei used the triton to make the water float him & his family to Yugi at the edge of the ship. All of them looked at Yugi with moist eyes & happy smiles, their baby brother was getting married. Yugi went to each one of them & hugged them tightly, before reaching Yusei. Yugi pulled him into a hug, but held on a bit longer.

'I love you, Yusei.' Yugi whispered into Yusei's ear.

Yusei smiled, before whispering back; 'They would be so proud of you, Yugi'.

Yugi pulled back, his eyes teary & a large smile on his face. Yugi then turned around to face Yami, who bowed at Yugi's family. Everyone bowed back, except Yusei smiled faking at the end & dragged his finger across his neck. Yami wasn't that scared at the gesture & just smiled back.

As Yusei & his family were back down in the water, Yusei was about to do one final thing before something else happened. Akiza was next to him & kissed his cheek quickly, but it caused Yusei to freeze in shock & a blush covering his face. But, then a rainbow appeared over the ship as the triton connected to Yusei's feelings.

Yugi giggled at the shocked & blushing face of his usually stoic brother, blushing at bit himself at the romantic gesture that Akiza gave to his brig brother. Yugi watched as he sailed away, as his family were teasing & trying to bring back a still frozen Yusei & a heavily blushing Akiza.

Yugi felt a hand on his shoulder & turned to see Yami. Yugi smiled at him as did Yami, before both of them leaned in for another kiss.

They were finally together at last.
