So my offer to put someone in this book as a side character, or just for a cameo here and there still stands for anyone and everyone who wants to do it. Other than that PSA I've got nothing. Onto the story.
After spending a bit of time in the bakery the three teenagers ordered some treats, as the trio waited for their pastries they made some small talk. After they got their pastries they paid for their treats, they started walking towards Le Grand Paris after they left the bakery so that Chloe wouldn't have to walk home alone.
"So Dipper, where in America are you from? And what's it like living in America? " Chloe asked curiously, as they walked.
"Well... um... where I'm from is a little town called Gravity Falls, Oregon, it's the most mysterious town on earth." Dipper started with, before just skipping to the next part of the question. "And it seems similar to living here in Paris." Dipper replied with.
"Oh, so why is the place you are from the 'most mysterious town on earth'?" Chloe asked.
"The town is the most mysterious town on earth, because we have some 'interesting' phenomenon's happen there that don't happen anywhere else in the world. As well, the supernatural is our natural out there. Like we have had gnomes, zombies, love gods, evil demons that try to take over the world, and that type of stuff all appear in only one summer over there." Dipped said not wanting to look at Chloe and Adrien, because he didn't want to know their reactions.
"That kind of sounds like what happens here, but we have a man who controls people when they are emotionally unstable. So we have had a zombie type akuma, but LadyBug and Chat-Noir fixes that up. Is that what happened with you, but with your own superhero's?" Chloe asked, as if this was something natural to here in Paris.
"Well we don't have superhero's that's for sure. Usually it is me and my twin sister dealing with the supernatural problems, with our friends Soos, Wendy, Pacifica, and our great uncles Stan, and Ford helping us as well. So yeah, if something is damaged we don't have anyone to fix the damages magically we have to pay to fix the damages." Dipper said as they reached Le Grand Paris.
"Well, I am courteous to know more about how this even happens over there. But I've got to go, but here's my number so we can talk later if you want to." Chloe said, being very nice to Dipper.
After exchanging numbers Chloe went into Le Grand Paris, which left Dipper and Adrien to walk to his home. On the way to Adrien's house Dipper noticed Adrien bring nervous so he finally asked what was bothering the blonde kid.
"What's got you so nervous?" Dipper asked, confused at why Adrien was so nervous.
"It's because of my father, he really won't be happy about not being let known in advance about this foreign exchange program. As well he is going to say no to letting you stay as soon as we walk into my house, so I'm just nervous about where you will have to stay while you are while you are staying in Paris." Adrien said.
"Hey, as I told you earlier. We will deal with your father once we reach your house, and we will try to convince him once we get there. And I can call my great uncle to come and help convince him if we need help." Dipper said, thinking about how Stan would be able to convince anyone of anything.
"My father is very brash, if he knew that your great uncle was here in Paris, he would find a reason to make you stay with him while you are here." Adrien said as they crossed the street walking up to a mansion.
"Ok, then no uncle. Wait why are we stopping here?" Dipper said, confused why they were standing in front of a mansion.
"This is my home, now let me try to handle the talking. If it gets too bad then just let it happen, please." Adrien said before pressing a buzzer on the gate, once he pressed it the gate opened up and a women holding a tablet stood on the top of the steps.
"Adrien, why are back so early? And why did you bring someone home with you, you know your father wouldn't approve of you bringing a friend home. He needs to leave now." Nathalie said, as she stood imposingly on the top of the steps.
"This is my friend Dipper, he is a foreign exchange student. He is supposed to stay in Paris for a month, and we were partnered up. So he is supposed to stay with me while he is in Paris, so that he is paired up with someone who knows where places are and so that he has someone who can help him with not getting lost. That is why he is with me, I wasn't aware that I was partnered up with him until school had started so that is why I couldn't let you and my father know before hand. And my practice was canceled and we decided to walk home instead of calling Gorilla." Adrien said explaining the situation.
"Well your father won't like this one bit, you why were you partnered up with Adrien and not someone else?" Nathalie asked, talking to Dipper.
"My name is Dipper, and I was partnered up with Adrien because he was he deemed the best fit to be my partner. He is one of the smartest in the class so his grades are in the top two in the class, as he has lots of patience for other people so he would be able to be patient either me and whatever questions I have about Paris. With the little time that I've known him, I can already tell that he is a very high performer and puts his best in everything that he does." Dipper said telling the truth about his thoughts on Adrien, as well as using some of the flattery tactics Uncle Stan taught him Incase he ever wanted to con someone.
"I see, well with this knowledge then I will make the argument that he should be able to stay while he is here. BUT don't falter in your grades, or extracurricular's. Am I understood?" Nathalie asked as she stared the two boys down.
Adrien and Dipper nodded, with that Nathalie turned around and walked into the building with Dipper, and Adrien right behind her. Nathalie was explaining if Dipper was able to stay there that he would be sharing a room with Adrien, but as she was finishing up explaining that Gabriel Agrest walked out of his office. As soon as he looked at Nathalie and Adrien he spotted Dipper, and his reaction changes from the normal stoic to a angry stoic.
"Who are you and why should I not kick you out of my house now?" Gabriel asked.
"My name's Dipper Pines, and I am a foreign exchange student that was paired up with Adrien for the month that I am going to be here. He found out that we were partners right after school started, so he didn't have any time before hand to let you know that he was chosen for that. He was chosen because of how great he was doing academically, because he was in the top two in his class. He as well was chosen to be my partner because he is patient and would be patient while I ask questions about Paris and how to get to certain places in Paris. From the little time I have known him I can already tell that he always puts all he has into what he does, and that he is a very high performer. So I am here, because I am supposed to stay with him, if that is ok with you Sir." Dipper said, explaining why he was chosen to be Adrien's partner without even being questioned about it.
Gabriel was shocked at how Dipper was able to answer almost all of his questions, before he even asked them. "I see, well I can tell that you like gettin straight to the point with explaining why. So I'm assuming that Nathalie has already said that you will be sharing a room with Adrien while he is staying here if I allow you to stay here, so I will only say that you can stay here. But DON't get in the way of Adrien's grades and his extracurricular's, am I understood?" Gabriel said.
"Yes Sir, I understand completely." Dipper said, not wanting to get on Gabriel's bad side.
"Good, Adrien show him to your room. Nathalie, in my office now." Gabriel said sternly.
Adrien, Dipper, and Nathalie all complied to Gabriel's two orders. As soon as Nathalie was in the office she closed he door behind her with Gabriel already having walked into his office. Adrien walked up the stairs with Dipper right beside him, they were silent until they were in Adrien's room.
"So that went better than I expected." Adrien said letting out a breath of relief.
"Yes, it went almost too easy. But I'm not complaining, it just seemed odd with him agreeing after I explained why. Because of what you told me and what I heard Marinette tell Mabel about your father being stern and strict, I assumed it would be a lot harder." Dipper said.
"Yeah, we might have just caught him on a good day though. So this is my room" Adrien said as he motioned towards the giant room, compared to the small attic that Mabel and Dipper shared.
"Wow this is huge, wait who is this on your screensaver on your computer?" Dipper asked, looking at the red and black spotted woman as the computer screensaver.
"Oh that's LadyBug, one of the two biggest hero's of Paris." Adrien said sheepishly, as if that was something that he was embarrassed about.
So that wraps up this chapter, I will be updating this book again next week. And my Tangled book will either be updated tonight or it will be updated tomorrow. So this chapter was a bit longer then the other ones, but oh well. As I said in the beginning the offer for putting you in this book still stands, and until next time. Bye
Comment time:
Pesty: It's fine, I appreciate that you pointed that out to me. I might go back and fix that later on but for now I will just have to leave it how it is.
King of Fans: I wanted to have Pacifica instead of Wendy, but it wouldn't workout as well in the beginning. But I'm not saying she won't be in this later on, nor am I saying she will be. you may or may not be close to what I will do with Stan later on, but you will have to read to find out.
