For the last two months John had been away filming a movie. He was coming home tomorrow. Julie was going into work late today. She was at the vet with Tinkerbell. Julie was really worried her. She'd been throwing up for days. Almost immediately after the vet looked at her she knew what it is.
"I see the issue." She said.
"Is Tinkerbell going to be alright?" Julie asked worriedly.
"She'll be just fine." "She's pregnant."
"Pregnant?" She said surprised. "Tinkerbell." "Have you been going out on the town again?" She said smiling.
Julie dropped Tinkerbell off at home and went to work.
"Hi." Julie said to Madison going up to her register.
"Hi." "How's Tinkerbell?"
"She's pregnant."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Can I have a kitten?" "I'll pay for it."
"I'll just give it to you." "I'm so glad that's all it was."
"I know you were worried."
"You must think I'm stupid for being so worried."
"No, pets are family to."
"Speaking of stupid, I still can't believe I had to get a replacement for all of my keys."
"People lose keys every day."
"Not all of them at once."
"It could happen to anyone."
"I swear a ghost took them or something." "I know I had them on my dresser."
"Psychics say ghost do move things."
"Well I wish they would've moved them back." "I had to pay two-hundred dollars for a new car key."
"That sucks."
"Yeah."
Later that night Julie and John were talking to each other on Skype.
"How did the vet appointment go?" He asked.
"Fine." "Tinkerbell's pregnant."
"I'm glad it wasn't anything serious."
"Me to." Tinkerbell jumped up on the bed where Julie was sitting. "Here's the expectant mommy now."
"Hi Tinkerbell." John said when she walked into frame. "Julie just told me the good news, congratulations." Tinkerbell started meowing and looking around.
"Aw, she's looking for you."
"I should be there by six tomorrow." "I'll be there as soon as I shower and unpack."
"Ok, I love you."
"I love you too, bye."
"Bye."
The next evening John got home around five. He got in the shower. When he got out of the shower he dried off, wrapped the towel around his waist and went into the bedroom to get dressed. He jumped when he saw Madison sitting on the bed.
"What the hell!" He said caught off guard.
"Hi." She stood up and went over to him.
"What are you doing?"
"Julie doesn't have to know." She went to kiss him and he backed away.
"Madison I love Julie." "I want you to leave, now."
Her facial expression turned to anger. "Fine." She left. John stood there trying to process what happened.
