John decided not to tell Julie about the bizarre incident with Madison. He'd just gotten to her house and walked through the door. She got up from the couch and went over to him.
"Hi." She said happily.
"Hi." They kissed.
"I just ordered the food."
After dinner Julie was doing the dishes. John was laying on the couch.
Tinkerbell jumped up on her John and laid on John's chest.
"Hey Tinkerbell." He said. He petted her. "How are you?" She meowed. "Yeah?" "That's good."
Fifteen minutes later Julie came into the living room. John and Tinkerbell were both asleep. Tinkerbell was purring. Julie got her phone and took a picture.
The next morning John went down to the kitchen and started the coffee.
"Tinkerbell do you want some breakfast?" He asked. Excepting her to appear any minute but she didn't. That wasn't like her. "Tinkerbell." He looked in the living room for her. She wasn't there. "Tinkerbell?" Julie came down the stairs. "Is Tinkerbell upstairs?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"I can't find her."
"She could gotten out through the cat door but I thought I closed it before we went to bed." "I'm gonna get dressed and look for her."
Julie got dressed.
"I'm gonna look in the backyard." She said.
"I'll check the garage."
Julie went out into the backyard. It was very big.
"Tinkerbell." "Tinkerbell come here." After a few minutes of looking Julie finally spotted her. She was laying on her side in the corner of the yard. As Julie got closer to her what she saw horrified her. There was blood everywhere. Tinkerbell had been gutted. Tinkerbell's intestines as well as pieces of unformed baby kittens were sticking out. A blade pattern was visible from Tinkerbell's wound. "Ahhhhh!" Julie screamed at the top of lungs. John came running.
"Oh my god." He said shocked at what he saw.
They called the police.
"Do either of you have any enemies?" The police officer asked.
"No." "I don't know who would do this." Julie said still in shock.
After the police left Julie sat down on the couch and started sobbing. John sat next to her and held her.
"I know baby." He said. "Ssh, it's ok."
"What kind of a monster would do this?" She said through her tears.
