John went up to the ICU. When he got there he told the woman at the front desk who is was. A few minutes later a doctor came out.

"Are you here for Julie Broderick?"

"Yes, I'm her boyfriend."

"Does she have any other family?"

"No."

"What about a living will?"

"No." "Why?"

"I'm sorry to tell you but she isn't going to make it." "She's brain dead and on life support."

"No." He said with tears in his eyes. "What happened to her?"

"A very bad car accident." "She was hit by a driver on the highway right in the drivers side." "She has a fractured skull, a broken pelvis, both of her legs are broke, almost all of her ribs." "We need your permission to take her off life support."

"Are you sure there's no hope?"

"Yes, I'm sorry."

"Can I say goodbye to her before you do it."

"Of course."

John went into Julie's room. Both of her legs were in casts. Her face was swelled up to about five times the size it should've been.

"Oh my god, no." John said. "I'm so sorry." He started to cry. "She's going to pay for this, I promise." "I love you so much Julie."

Five minutes after they took Julie off of life support she died.

John left the hospital seething with anger. He felt like he had nothing left to lose.

Madison was at home. She heard sudden loud banging on the door. It was locked.

"Madison!" He yelled. "Open the fucking door!" He started to break it down. After about six hits it came down. Madison saw the anger in his eyes and took off running for the kitchen. He was right behind her. "You killed her!" He grabbed her by the hair. She grabbed a plate breaking it over his forehead. She ran up the stairs and just gotten to her bedroom. "You bitch!" John said jumping on her. They ended up on the bed. He put his hands around her neck and started strangling her. She was gagging.

"Freeze!" John heard someone yell a minute later. It was a police officer. John let her go. She took a big breath.

Three months later John was in prison in his cell. He'd gotten ten years for attempted murder.

Madison was at the airport.

"Flight 521 to Los Angeles is now boarding." They announced over the loudspeaker. Madison got up and started walking to the gate to board the plane. She was ready to start her new life.
