Chapter 10

Darkness Within

I wasn't too far from town but I was far enough to avoid people if I needed to get away.

Henrietta looked around to make sure we were not followed.

"This spot should work."

I got the crystal ball out.

My arm transformed as I held the ball.

"This is different."

'Its possible the ball is bringing out your inner demon, literally.'

Red told me.

I put the ball on the ground and out of instinct I started to speak in some language.

I don't really remember what happened.

The ball vanished and what was in front of me was a tree with some strange writing on it.

"Place your hand on the writing."

Henrietta told me.

I placed my demon hand on it and a flash of light surrounded me and the tree.

When the light vanished there was a door in front of me.

"The entrance to your lair has been made, you may enter it now."

I walked into the door and Henrietta followed me.

The room I entered was a throne room.

There were torches and swords on the walls that were dark purple.

A black rug was leading to a small staircase leading to a big throne that looked like it was made out of obsidian.

"So this belongs to me?"

"Everything here is yours my lord, you can do anything you want here though it will drain your energy every time you do something big."

I noticed a hallway and walked down it and saw two doorways at the end of the hallway.

"What is this?"

Suddenly I saw some writing in front of me.

Rooms for Followers.

'What the hell?"

'It seems this lair of yours can provide information you need.'

"What are my parents hiding from me?"

Nothing showed up.

'Well that didn't work"

'Guess there are limits to your ability.'

I sighed.

'I just wish i knew how to use this game properly.'

A doorway appeared at the end of the hallway.

"Huh?"

I questioned and walked into the room.

Henrietta didn't follow me.

"Strange guess only i can enter here."

'And technically I can.'

I looked in front of me and I saw Red's form again.

"It's kinda weird that you're just a red version of me."

"Look i don't know either but it seems this room allows us to be face to face for once."

I turned to my left and saw 4 Skill Trees similar to other RPG games.

Each of them had the names of their types.

Slayer,Blade Master,Demon Lord,and Hybrid.

I saw that I only didn't have abilities unlocked in Blade Master.

"This is strange."

I placed my hand on the Blade Master skill tree and saw an ability unlocked.

"Ability collector?"

I looked at Red.

"Do you know what it is?"

Red looks closely at the Skill Tree.

"Yes."

A bit of time passed and I exited the room.

Henrietta was waiting outside.

"Where have you been my lord?"

I smirked.

"Just some awakening."

I left my base and saw it disappear behind me.

'Guess only myself and my followers can enter the base.'

I told Henrietta to go back to her group and i returned to the 'Elven Forest'

Kyle was waiting for me with the rest of his Kingdom.

I approached him.

A Twitter Raven told me about your success in recruiting the Goth Kids, call them here and your dedication to the Drow Elves will be complete!"

I climbed up Kyle's treehouse and sent a message from my phone, I also lifted my phone up for effect.

With a jump I landed onto the ground safely.

"Was that really necessary?"

Stan asked me.

"When you have power you use it right?"

"I guess."

I walked to Kyle.

"New Kid, I'm sorry I ever doubted you. I hereby make you a member of the Drow Elves of the Forest."

The 'Elves' cheered for me.

"New Kid, you have our friendship. I hereby level you up to the rank of commander."

Commander N

I like the sound of this.

A bit of energy surrounded me.

I didn't notice it last time I was promoted, but it seems my abilities had gone up a level.

"My lord! My lord!"

Stan shouted going to Kyle.

"We know where the humans are hiding the Stick!"

"What? Really?"

"We just intercepted their messages on Twitter!"

"Ah you shot down their messenger raven."

"Right,right, we shot down their raven and the Evil Wizard King has hidden the Stick inside his desk at school!"

"Of course! Cartman hid it in his desk!"

Kyle went in front of me and Stan.

"Drow Elves of the Forest! We know where the humans are hiding the stick! I knew Cartman was cheating! We shall march on the school and make the hallways drip with their blood!"

Everyone began marching to the school.

I decided to take a longer route so i can work on my skill trees.

My abilities increased a bit, even the one I just obtained.

I was prepared for whatever was about to be thrown at me.

After reaching the school I noticed the battle had already started.

'Well looks like we're late to the party.'

'You know Kyle's gonna be pissed right?'

'Red, when have I ever cared what people think?'

'Fair enough.'

I saw Kyle and walked to him.

"Commander N you're here. Head to the back of the school and see how the goth kids are doing."

I nodded and left the front of the school and saw the goth kids sitting around smoking.

Henrietta approached me.

"What is your command my lord?"

I saw that the entrance near them was unlocked.

"Stay close and keep any of these assholes from sneak attacking me."

I walked inside the school and Henrietta followed me.

There wasn't anyone inside the room, but I couldn't say the same about the rest of the school.

My hands were on my weapons as I left the room ready for whatever comes at me.

We went inside the cafeteria and it looked completely destroyed.

"I wonder how were getting away from this."

I saw something written on the wall.

"Elves are Smelly. Huh well thats probably the weakest insult ive heard in a while."

I left the cafeteria and saw a barricade that was made out of cardboard but for some reason had torches and a fan.

After seeing this i just sighed and shot at the barigade with my aura blast, destroying it and sending several humans flying into a wall.

"Theyre probably fine."

I walked passed them and heard someone on the loudspeaker.

It was Butters.

"N its me, Butters. I know the elves have brainwashed you, but we used to be friends, and we can be again. I promise you, ill set you free of Kyle's control, and things will go back to the way they used to be!"

This made me chuckle.

"Nobody controls me."

Several Human Soldiers ran at me, Henrietta drew some markings with her Cigarette and exploding smoke knocked them out.

We continued walking and saw the only way forward was through the vents.

I quickly broke open the vent and jumped in.

Henrietta soon followed me and after dealing with some rats we slid down some wires and were in the basement.

Kyle Stan and Jimmy were all there.

"How the hell did you beat me here?"

I asked Kyle quite confused.

"I took a different more clear route."

"Huh well wish i knew about that."

I noticed a Hallway Monitor was laying in front of a door.

He looked like he was in pain.

"Stay back, something is seriously wrong with the hallway monitors!"

Stan approached the Hallway monitor.

"Be careful he can still bust us for not having hall passes!"

"Seriously i think that's the least of our concerns."

I looked closely and noticed some green goo on him.

"Henrietta ready your attack."

She nods at me and we watch the Hallway Monitory closely.

The boy started rammbleing before being transformed into a Nazi Zombie.

I quickly struck it's arms and legs causing it to fall then Henrietta struck it down.

"Jesus dude you have no mercy."

Stan looked at me.

"It wasnt human anymore it had to be put down."

"Well done commander, go forward through the basement ill go see how the battle upstairs is going."

Kyle left and Stan and Jimmy soon followed.

Me and Henrietta walked through the door and went through the basement killing a few Nazi Zombies along the way.

We made it back upstairs and i heard Cartman on the loudspeaker.

"N i know Kyle has you under has you under control, just strike him down and we can rule once again as Master and Slave."

"Ok thats it he's dead."

We walked into the main entryway and isaw barricades blocking me from the staircase and Butters at the top with catapults with flaming dog poop in them.

"Hell no."

I quickly destroyed the catapults with my aura blasts while Henrietta destroyed the barricade allowing me to go upstairs.

Kyle ran into the room from another entrance.

"Good work! Now go unlock the door and allow our troops in."

I shot at the lock with my gun and the elves ran in.

"Or that works to."

I broke the lock to the door in front of me and entered it to see Butters waiting.

"N."

"Butters, youre on the losing side, Cartman is an asshole who uses people seriously the elves are so much better."

"Doesnt matter, you will lose and die here elf or you can break the elf king's control and join us?"

'Why does everyone want to control me?'

I sighed and drew my weapons.

"Everyone back off this is my battle."

Butters aimed his hammer at me.

I aimed my two blades at Butters who instantly threw his hammer at me

The hammer it me right in the gut.

It knocked the wind out of me.

Butters quickly grabbed him hammer and attempted to hit my head with it.

I blocked it with one of my swords and it shattered to pieces almost immediately.

"Ok that was unexpected."

"Youre a fool to think you could stop my strength with your level 1 weapons."

I quickly used my Aura to blast Butters away from me, i used this chance to stand up and ran at Butters with my blade in hand.

Butters was ready for me though and hit me with lightning.

My weapon blocked it but it was immediately destroyed.

"You have no weapons left N its time for your defeat."

Butters covered himself with his cape and when he was revealed again, he transformed into a anime type form he called professor chaos true form.

"Ok this isnt good."

I said backing away from him.

"You have no chance of escaping N."

Butters did a pose similar pose to the Kamehameha and started charging energy in his hands.

My eyes widened as i looked where he was aiming at.

All of us.

"Why is he this powerful?"

"Cartman must have given him more power for this mission if we dont do something soon he'll wipe us out and Cartman will win."

"How is this fair?"

"He must have used the stick."

I sighed at what Kyle told me.

"Well if were going down might as well go down fighting."

My arm transformed into its demon form and my aura forms in the palm of my demon hand and i aimed it directly at Butters.

"Sorry Butters but i cant hold back anything against you."

Butters glared at me and pushed his energy forward blasting it right towards me.

I retaliated by firing my aura directly at Butters.

Both blasts collided in a beam struggle.

"You have no chance against this power N! I am much higher level than you!"

As much as i hate to admit it he was right.

Butters has been playing this game for several weeks while i only just started yesterday.

Even though i had a class no one else had, the abilities nobody could obtain, and a bloodline that was more powerful and mysterious that even i could understand.

But Butters had more power than me and i was slowly losing ground.

His energy started get closer to me and my aura could only hold back to much.

I looked at my arm and saw that it was slowly returning to normal.

'Shit, this isnt good, Red can you give me anymore power!?!"

'Were already at full power i cant push it any farther!'

'Damn it cmon there has to be a way!'

I kept thinking as Butters energy inched closer to me.

Then i realised something.

'Red my skill tree with transformation can i level it up?'

Red was silent for a moment before he spoke to me.

'Yes but are you sure youre ready for it, powering up in battle could be a huge risk especially while youre being attacked.'

'Exactly, i want you to unlock the ability for me.'

'Im not sure if thats even possible.'

'Well at this point i have no other options.'

Red went silent as the energy was just about to consume my whole aura blast and i was down to just my demon hand.

Suddenly i felt power in my right hand.

'Thank you Red.'

I stretched my arm and it transformed into a demon arm.

I quickly put it under my demon hand and fired a blast using both hands.

Using all of my aura with both hands allowed my blast to consume Butters energy and strike him with everything i got.

I put my arms down and all my aura vanished.

I looked at Butters and saw he was knocked out and back in his normal form.

My arms felt numb and i was completely out of PP."

I leaned against a nearby wall and the group went to me.

"Are you ok commander?"

"Y..yeah just need a m...moment to rest."

The other ran ahead and Henrietta stayed with me.

"You've awoken even more of your demonic powers my lord."

"Ive noticed."

My arms regained some feeling and i took a drink of some potions.

I sighed in relief.

"I should get moving."

I stood up.

"I still have an asshole wizard to beat up."

Henrietta nodded as i began my walk to catch up to the others.

While we were walking back Cartman decided to use the loudspeaker again.

"Dude N this is gonna be so sweet when you double-cross Kyle at the last minute, am i right? High five."

I just laughed.

"Oh i am going to enjoy kicking his ass."

We reached the fourth grade classroom and i saw Kyle Stan and Jimmy waiting.

"Fat ass is in there with the Stick. Commander N, lead us to victory!"

"With pleasure."

I kicked open the door and saw Cartman Kenny and a few other humans with him.

"Back away from the desk, Wizard Fat Ass!"

Kyle told him.

Cartman ignore Kyle and looked at me.

"Youre a traitor N! How could you?!"

"Because he knows who the cool kids are"

He was not wrong.

"I brought you into the game i made friends with you before anyone else would."

"Technically that was Butters."

I cracked my knuckles.

"Well time to slay a wizard ki-"

I was cut off by an electric shock hitting my whole body causing me to fall on the ground.

"I was hoping you would be more reasonable N but it seems you have i have no choice but to teach you a lesson."

I looked up and saw Cartman holding a remote.

"I put a shocker in your slayer outfit just in case you attempted to betray me, it seems i was right to do so."

I watched him slowly turn the dial up more causing more pain to hit my body.

'Red lend me your power.'

'Alright, lets make this asshole suffer for making us deal with all this shit.'

My eye turned Red and i slowly started to stand up.

"What thats impossible no normal human should be able to survive that?"

"You were trying to kill me?"

I felt a combination of my aura and electricity around my body.

'Time to try my new skill.'

I held my left arm up and sword formed in my hand.

The blade was made out of pure electricity.

"Lets see how you like it."

I aimed my blade at Cartman and the blade shot a blast of electricity that knocked Cartman into a wall and broke the remote.

The sword vanished from my hand and Kyle approached me.

"Great job N."

"Thanks now which desk is the stick-"

Before i could finish my sentence i noticed something.

"Uh the desks dont have insides."

I went and saw a desk that said check my locker was written on it.

Cartman stood up.

"That's Clyde's desk."

Everyone was quiet.

"Oh shit."

Kyle Stan and Cartman walked to Clyde's locker and found a laptop.

I quickly grabbed it and it had a video on it.

"Why do i have a bad feeling about this?"

I hit play on a video and Clyde appeared wearing purple red and black armor.

"Greeting humans,elves, and demons."

I can tell he was glaring at me even though he couldnt see me.

'He knows but how?"

"He took the stick."

Cartman said.

Clyde continued to speak.

"While you have all been fighting amongst yourselves. I have built a kingdom beyond your comprehension! I prayed for a way to destroy you all and the solution came crashing down from the heavens!"

"He has the goo."

I said sounding a little worried.

Clyde used the goo to make a dead cat turn into a nazi zombie.

"With what i have found, i shall raise an army of the dead!"

Clyde put a crown on his head.

"I shall raise an entire army of darkness and kill the earth!"

"Clyde but why?"

Stan questioned.

"I banished him to be lost in space and time now hes all pissed off."

Cartman explained.

"And he blames me for that."

I responded.

"So you see fools. I control the stick and the future of the earth."

Clyde's dad interrupted the video for a moment but he quickly went back to speaking.

"Whoever controls the Stick controls the universe and my first deed is that i hereby denounce the human and elf kingdoms! And strip both kings of all their power!"

The video ended.

Some of us left the school and ran to Clyde's house and apparently he's been busy cause he had a fortress several stories tall and was more impressive than anything we had.

Clyde appeared on one of the balconies.

"Come and get it losers!"

He laughed at us.

"Dont think you can win Clyde, my power is greater than anything you can use."

"You cant do this Clyde! Youre lost in time and space!"

Cartman shouted at him.

"No im not!"

"Yeah you are asshole!"

"Army of darkness! Defend the fortress!"

Tons of kids dressed in dark armor showed up all over the fortress, including Craig.

"Oh you traitorous prick."

My eye turned Red.

"The king's dont have authority which means youre the commander of nothing."

Cartman was mad hearing this.

"God Damnit i have fucking autority!"

Clyde taunted us once again.

"Sorry warriors and wizards. Id love to invite you in to my fortress of darkness, but im afraid youre toolate."

Stan looked confused.

"Too late? What do you mean were too late?"

Suddenly Butters parents showed up and took him away saying it was past his bedtime.

"Oh shit i gotta go."

I ran to my house quickly and made it inside and saw my parents on the couch.

"Oh N youre a little late getting home, guess you were having a lot of fun out there."

My father said to me.

I had a fake smile and acted like i was breathing heavily.

"Sorry i ran back as soon as i could."

"Thats ok sweetie,just go rest up and try to get some sleep."

I nodded at my mom and went to my room.

'N this is the worst case scenario, we need to plan accordingly.'

'Red i know but i just had a long and exhausting day, i just need some-"

I passed out on my bed.

My second day in South Park concluded, and my Third and most tiring day about to begin.

AN:Yeah this one was a long one, if you cant tell this is a huge chapter normally i would have splitted this up with N's lair being one chapter, the battle of butters and N being another, and the Clyde reveal as the last one, obviously i would have added the other stuff in between. So yeah im gonna be going for somewhat longer chapters nowadays, if you want more direct updates on this and my other storites feel free to check out my council of ocs update story, so heres a plan for whats ahead, im gonna have a shorter night section this time which will include a morning part with some more stuff with N's lair and a bit more NxHenrietta stuff, and then we will begin a new quest, and i will say this in three or four chapters i will be making a side quest exclusive chapter.
