Hugo: Gee Rita what a day it is today.

Rita: I know Hugo I have a feeling something special is going to happen today.

Hugo: Oh oh what is it?

Rita: I don't know its just a feeling I have.

( Hugo looked around and saw a person with springs for hands practising his fighting skills )

Hugo: Hey Rita maybe that's the something special you were thinking of.

Spring Man: Hey there you two.

Hugo: Hi I'm Hugo and that's Rita we just want to know what you are doing.

Spring Man: Name's Spring Man I'm practising for the great Arms tournament on Friday.

Rita: Arms tournament? What's that?

Spring Man: The Arms tournament is where me and my friends compete for the grand champion to see who it is by fighting with our arms.

Hugo: Yeah but how do you do it?

Spring Man: Our arms extended like this ( stretches out arms ) See?

Hugo: That's so cool I want to be in it too.

Spring Man: Well I'm sorry little guy but you need some springs for arms if you want to compete anyways gotta go.

( Spring Man ran off to practise )

Rita: Don't feel bad Hugo I know you want to compete in the tournament but you don't have any springy arms like Spring Man.

( Hugo and Rita walked off as the camera panned up revealing the title )

THE GREAT ARMS TOURNAMENT

( The primate and fox walked towards city hall and saw a poster for the tournament )

Hugo: Look a poster.

Rita: Right Hugo its for the tournament Spring Man told us about ( beat ) Say don't you get a feeling a song is about to come on?

Hugo: I think so look.

Geno: ( Singing ) Its gonna be special its gonna be great off to the stadium without a thing to do.

Geno/Mallow/Dan Blam/Willie Wumpa Cheeks: ( Singing ) Please sir I beg you I just have to know will you won't you take me to the Arms tournament?

( Mr CC was nearby holding a clipboard watching everyone sing )

Hasty: ( Singing ) Take me sir I'm a pilot in command I'm such a great flyer its never a strain.

Johnny Cage: ( Singing ) Its not a tough decision though I have to confess its hard to find a better star just like me.

Mr CC: Hmm precisely.

Johnny Cage: But I didn't mean not to take me sir.

Morgana: ( Singing ) I know I'm kinda small sir but I'm not a beginner I got married to Yaya Panda and I am a father.

( Heddily Diddly Dee appeared and pushed Morgana away )

Morgana: Meow.

Heddily: ( Singing ) You ought to take me sir I know I'm kind of rude but on the other side of me I'm loyal kind and true.

( Rita and Hugo followed everyone around town as they sung )

Yaya/Pilot Pete/Von Clutch: ( Singing ) Its gonna be special its gonna be great off to the stadium without a thing to do.

Kevin Quzzin/Rayman/Parappa: ( Singing ) Please sir I beg you you can't tell me no.

Farmer Ernest: ( Singing ) Will you won't you take me to the Arms tournament?

Kabal/Captain Falcon: ( Singing ) Fast people.

Byleth/Marth: ( Singing ) Slick people.

Phantom thieves: ( Singing ) Tough people.

Ryu/Ken/Terry Bogard: ( Singing ) Strong people.

Chudd/Earl/Dudley: ( Singing ) Everyone with any skill is eager to go.

Charles: I'm not going anywhere.

Natterjack/Burping Herbert/King Pong/Kat Kool: ( Singing ) Will you won't you take us to the Arms tournament?

Roland Landlubber: ( Singing ) Its gonna be special its gonna be great.

Arthur Morgan/John Martson: ( Singing ) Leaving all of our things behind please sir I beg you can't tell me no.

( Mr CC was pushed by Arthur Morgan into the middle of a large crowd which contained everyone who sang the song )

Everyone: ( Singing ) Will you won't you take us to the Arms tournament? Will you won't you take us to the Arms tournament?

Hugo: ( Sings quietly ) Will you won't you take me to ( singing dies out ) The Arms tournament?

Rayman: ( Laughs ) Oh Hugo why would you want to go to the Arms tournament? Only people with springs for arms can go their.

Mr CC: That's correct Rayman but as you all should know not all of us can go at once we all have other things do ( beat ) I said we all have other things to do.

( Everyone heard what Mr CC said and quickly dashed off expect for Hugo and Rita )

Rita: I know you want to go Hugo but you see not anyone can get what they dream off.

Hugo: You're right Rita maybe I should just be myself.

( That evening Hugo and Rita were walking back to their house which was just on a hill just outside of town )

Hugo: ( Sighs ) If only I could get my wish after all.

( Hugo looked up into the sky and imagined what it would be like if he competed in the Arms tournament )

Announcer: And we have a winner folks its Hugo the primate.

( The crowd cheered and a judge gave Hugo a trophy )

Rita: Hugo you did it I'm so proud of you.

( Hugo smiled and prepared to kiss Rita but just when their lips were about to touch he was snapped out of his imagination )

Rita: Come on Hugo its time for bed.

Hugo: Oh coming maybe I should try and make something in the morning maybe with springs just like Spring Man said.

( Hugo went inside the house to go to bed the next morning Hugo woke up early to start on his project )

Hugo: Right then time to get started on my spring arms.
