( Hugo set to work on his invention spring arms Rita came in to see what he is doing )

Rita: Morning Hugo say what are you doing?

Hugo: I'm making my own spring arms Spring Man said you need springs for arms I you want to compete.

Rita: ( Thinks for a moment ) That is actually a very good idea after breakfast will head into town and practise them out.

Hugo: Sounds like a plan.

( After breakfast Hugo and Rita went into town to practise with Spring Man )

Spring Man: Hello you two again.

Hugo: Hey Spring Man I made some spring arms myself I was wondering if I can practise with you.

Spring Man: Sure thing I have a training dummy right here.

Rita: Good luck Hugo.

( Hugo over with Spring Man to the training dummy to practise )

Hugo: Okay so what do I do first?

Spring Man: First a hook.

Hugo: Okay what's that?

Spring Man: Just a straight punch.

( Hugo did a hook like what Spring Man told him )

Spring Man: Very good now a jab that's a overhead punch.

( Hugo did a jab )

Spring Man: Now next up I want you do a grab with both arms.

( Hugo grabbed the dummy with both arms and punched it some more )

Spring Man: Sweet now for the last one I need you to do an all out attack.

Hugo: That's sounds hard how do I do that?

Spring Man: You just got to unleash all of you're power.

( Hugo took a moment to control his power and then without further delay he unleashed a flurry of punches to the training dummy before sending it flying into the sky )

Rita: Wow Hugo that was amazing.

Hugo: ( Pants ) No problem Rita it was fun.

Rita: Maybe I was wrong you are a suitable person for the Arms tournament on Friday.

Hugo: Really?

( Just then a loud truck horn was heard and a big truck arrived in town and reversed so it was facing back the other people in town looked at the truck to see what was going on the trailer of the truck opened up and all the other characters from Arms came out Ninjara Max Brass Helix Byte and Barq Min Min Springtron Dr Coyle Lola Pop Misango Kid Cobra Twintelle Ribbon Girl Master Mummy and Mechanica )

Hugo: What on earth?

Mr CC: Hey stop where are you going?

Twintelle: To the Arms tournament of course.

Mr CC: The tournament is not here its over by the stadium and its not until Friday.

Twintelle: Not until Friday? ( Beat ) Oops back up everyone.

Max Brass: Go back.

Lola Pop: Everyone back in the truck.

Ninjara: Back up back up.

Spring Man: Well I guess that's my cue to join them.

Hugo: Oh wait I want to join in too um excuse me are you all going to the Arms tou-

Max Brass: Get out of the way.

( Max Brass kicked Hugo aside )

Max Brass: Why don't you look where you're going shrimp?

Hugo: I'm not the one going backwards.

( All the Arms characters expect Min Min go back into the truck )

Ribbon Girl: Is there someone missing?

Max Brass: Nah forget about it.

( The truck honked its horn and left the town )

Rita: Well that's was random.

Min Min: No stop wait for me.

Hugo: Hey who are you?

Min Min: I'm Min Min I should be with Spring Man and the others but they forgot about me.

Rita: Wait I know you you're that one that got into Smash Bros right?

Hugo: ( Clears throat )

Rita: Oh yeah sorry.

Min Min: Well I heard the show isn't until Friday so I guess I can help you two out if you want oh wait I don't know you're names.

Rita: I'm Rita he's Hugo my friend here is determined to get into the Arms tournament.

Min Min: Wait you want to compete but you're too small and you don't have any of the fancy spring arms like we do.

Hugo: Well these are just ones I made myself.

Min Min: Well okay then I guess you can compete can I sleep with you two tonight?

Hugo: Sure you can help me practise as well.

Min Min: Certainly where do you live?

Rita: Just on that hill outside of town over the bridge.

Min Min: Well let's go then.

( Hugo Rita and Min Min went over to the house on the hill to practise together )
