Yusei was being led down the hallway by two guards. Eventually, they reached a door and one guard scanned his finger. "Chief, I brought Number 88," the guard said before the door opened.

Meanwhile, back at the duel room, Tanner, Rainbow Dash, and Yanagi were talking. "Grandpa. He was caught for illegal trespassing?" Tanner asked Yanagi.

"That's right. The same as me," Yanagi confirmed.

"Yeah. Same with me as well," Rainbow Dash said.

"Isn't it strange? The investigation was completed before he was brought here. So what are they investigating now? Chief Armstrong is a tough guy. I have a bad feeling about this," Tanner was cautious.

"Let me start off by saying this:," Armstrong said as he plucked nose hairs. "I hate the people of Satellite." Armstrong then blew the hairs into Yusei's face, much to his disgust. He then grabbed Yusei's right arm from behind his back. "In truth, I don't like touching them either!" Armstrong then pulled up Yusei's sleeve to check for the mark only to find nothing. "Inspect him!" Armstrong pushed Yusei towards two doctors in suits. "Thoroughly."

Yusei was stripped down to his underwear and placed into a machine to scan him. When inside of the machine, he was painfully shocked by green electricity. After a while, the electricity was turned up, causing Yusei to be in agonizing pain. Eventually, Yusei was pulled out of the machine. Armstrong pulled Yusei up by his hair. "Had enough already? A citizen of Satellite isn't worthy of a Duel Runner or a deck. Your Duel Runner and deck are both property of the Public Maintenance Department. It seems the Director has an interest in your belongings. They're being thoroughly inspected in the security vault," Armstrong said as he plucked out nose hairs and blew them on Yusei. Yusei was angered by what had just occurred.

"A few moments ago, we received information from the detention center," Lazar told Goodwin as they walked into a room. Lazar proceeded to pull up information on Yusei. "So far, Chief Armstrong has been unable to confirm that this man from Satellite is a Signer. He will continue to research and observe. Did you tell the King everything?"

"If I didn't reveal everything, I would have failed to calm down the King," Goodwin answered.

"This is becoming interesting," Lazar said with a laugh.

"Yes. Next is the man from Satellite. I will meet him," Rex decided.

A weakened Yusei was pushed back into his cell. "Are you okay, bro?" Yanagi asked in concern. Yusei started to pull himself up. "Pull yourself together. What did they do to you?"

"They were looking for a mark," Yusei answered.

"A mark?"

"When the Crimson Dragon appeared, it appeared on my arm and then vanished."

"What do you mean, bro?" Yanagi asked loudly, which he caught himself on and quieted down as a guard passed by. "Bro, are you a Signer?" He asked quietly.

"Signer?"

"When I was wandering in South America, I heard about the legend of the people of the stars. Signer is a word that came up in that legend. According to the people of the stars, the Crimson Dragon is their god. The people who summon it have the mark of the dragon and are known as Signers. There are five Signers and five extra lower ranking Signers. Each controls a dragon that can draw out its power. In other words, there are five Signers, five lower ranking Signers, and five dragons."

"Five dragons?" Yusei asked as he remembered what happened during his duel with Jack.

"The five dragons continue to live throughout the generations and change their appearances. Hey, wait. That means...Bro, your dragon!"

"If that card is one of them…" Yusei muttered.

"Card? The dragons currently live as cards? I want to see that card."

"I don't have the card," Yusei bluntly answered.

"How frustrating! I want to see that card! But it's strange. Why would the detention guards be interested about this?" Yanagi wondered.

Jack pulled the top card of his deck, which was Red Dragon Archfiend. "You are the chosen one of the stars," Jack remembered Rex saying.

Mina walked up to Jack from behind. Without even turning back, Jack asked, "What do you want?"

"The data on your opponent in tomorrow's duel has arrived. Please look it over," Mina said as she got out a tablet.

"How do I look right now?"

"Clearly you are the King of Duelists."

"You're wrong! My undefeated legend has already ended. I lost to him. I am not the King!" Jack yelled as he threw down Red Dragon Archfiend.

"Good. You don't deserve to be King after what happened a few days ago!" Pinkie Pie commented. Mina was quick to shush her however, and continued.

"You're wrong. Master Atlas, you must be the King," Mina tried to comfort.

"I must? If I continue to feel like I do right now, I can't duel!" Jack yelled as he walked toward the windows. "Am I the clown?"

The next morning…

"Attention! For today's rehab lesson, we invited Director Rex Goodwin of the Neo Domino City Public Maintenance Department. Open your hearts and listen to his talk about public maintenance!" Armstrong yelled.

Unless Yusei was mistaken, he thought he saw Goodwin look right at him.

"Everybody listen! The moment has arrived for today's most exciting show! Let's welcome the challenger who will face the King. He has boldly challenged the King in order to get his revenge!" the MC announced.

"Your current appearance suits you best, Master Atlas. Thank you for accepting today's duel," Mina thanked Jack. Jack gave a frustrated look to Mina.

"Is the director watching?" Jack asked.

"He went to the detention center today."

Jack proceeded to pick up his deck and prepare for the duel.

"C'mon, the fire revenger Hunter Pace!" The MC yelled as Hunter drove out.

"Today, I will smash the King! I've assembled the most powerful deck! I will become the next King!" Hunter Pace golated.

"Will his undefeated legend finally come to an end? Show us your skills again today, King of Duelists Jack Atlas!" The MC called out as Jack entered the Stadium.

"There is only one King, and it's me!" Jack yelled out.

"Today's challenger is different than the ones before! He reconstructed his deck after his previous duel with the King! How will the King counteract it?" The MC announced.

"They are all expecting the duel of a King," Jack thought as he looked at the cheerleaders and the crowd cheering him on. He smiled at this familiar setting.

"The King smiles happily! He's fully prepared to face the challenger!" The MC said.

"Standing here among the cheers and events… It's never felt so pointless before," Jack thought to himself.

"Will you witness the birth of a new King? It's about time for the duel! Set on the field spell Speed World!" The MC yelled.

"Duel mode on. Autopilot standby," The Duel Runners said as the arena turned purple.

"The battle of the century is about to begin. Who will win? Riding Duel acceleration! The King goes first!"

"My turn. I draw! I summon Dark Resonator in defense position (300 Defense)!" Jack played.

"The King summoned the Level 3 Tuner Monster Dark Resonator! Once a turn, this card cannot be destroyed in battle!" The MC said.

"So you brought out a Tuner," Hunter Pace said.

"I set two cards and end my turn!" Jack ended his turn.

"Will those two set cards lead to an incredible highlight? I'm looking forward to it!" The MC announced.

"There is a big reason why I separated the two groups of people between Neo Domino City and Satellite." Rex walked down into the crowd. "The two worlds complement one another in order to promote development. The people who live at Satellite are Satellite citizens, and the people who live at Neo Domino City are Neo Domino City citizens. There's a reason why this is necessary. If you leave Satellite, then the order of the world is disturbed. One person's reckless actions can result in causing trouble for his friends and acquaintances. At times it may bring pain," Rex Goodwin said, looking at Yusei and Rainbow Dash as he said the last part.

"It's my turn! King, check out my super revenge deck! I draw! I'll steadily apply the pressure, King! It's the same thing you do so well. I'll show you that I can do it too! I send Skull Conductor to the graveyard and activate its effect! I can Special Summon two Zombie-Type monsters in faceup defense position from my hand whose combines attack points equal 2000! Come, Burning Skullheads (800 Defense)!" Hunter played.

"There it is! Two Burning Skullheads have appeared!" The MC said as the crowd cheered.

"When Burning Skullhead is successfully special summoned, the opponent takes 1000 points of damage! Since two were summoned simultaneously, you take 2000 points of damage! Hell Burning!" Hunter Pace yelled

"There's still more! I release the two Burning Skullheads to Advance Summmon Skull Flame (2600 Attack)!"

"What a bold development! If he chooses not to attack with Skull Flame, he can Special Summon one Burning Skullhead from his hand. But will he do so?"

"From my hand, I Special Summon Burning Skullhead (800 Defense)!"

"He didn't betray our expectations! The third Burning Skullhead has appeared!

"Hell Burning!" Hunter Pace cried out.

"Do you understand now? This is the power of my revenge deck! It has a scary combo where I defeat you with consecutive monster effects! As long as Skull Flame is on the field, instead of drawing normally, I can add one Burning Skullhead in my graveyard to my hand. Then due to Skull Flame's monster effect, I can Special Summon Burning Skullhead from my hand. That means I can summon Burning Skullhead every turn!" Hunter laughed as he sped up. "On my next turn, if I Special Summon Burning Skullhead, the King's life points become zero! That means I will be the new King of Duelists!"

"The challenger Hunter Pace has declared victory!" The MC said.

"You call this a duel?" Jack asked. "You were just lucky. This wasn't good enough to be considered a duel!"

"And that concludes the Director's training speech. Return to your rooms immediately!" Armstrong commanded. As Yusei and Rainbow Dash were about to leave, Armstrong said, "Numbers 88 and 89, you stay here."

Tanner said, "You two, be careful." Both of them nodded in response.

"The King is currently dueling at that stadium," Rex informed the two.

"So what?" Yusei asked.

"Yeah! Why should we care about where that jerk is?!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Watch your mouths!" Armstrong yelled, only for Goodwin to place a hand in front of Armstrong, signaling him to stop.

"It's fine," Goodwin said.

"What do you want to know about us?" Yusei asked.

"Everything. Where did your marks go? I believe you have a normal mark and Rainbow Dash here has a supporting mark," Rex asked.

"Why does the Public Maintenance Department care about that?" Yusei asked.

"Yeah. I've been told that there are five main and five supporting Signers, but why do you care about that? Are you a spy?" Rainbow demanded.

"No, I am no spy. I ask because it relates to public maintenance," Rex answered.

"What are you thinking about?" Yusei asked. "In that speech you gave, what did you mean by pain?" Yusei asked.

"Yeah! Are you going to hurt our friends? Because we won't let you do that!" Rainbow Dash called out.

"I also don't know what you're thinking about. I just wanted to talk about the relationship between Neo Domino City and Satellite. I meant nothing else by that," Rex said.

"Don't touch our friends. They have nothing to do with this," Yusei warned.

"Really."

"Who are you?"

"I'm just a person who dreams of Neo Domino City's development and peace in the world. However, since I must deal with reality, I'm willing to sacrifice one side to ensure the survival of the other."

"Sacrifice?"

"It's just an example," Rex said as Rainbow and Yusei scowled at Goodwin.

"Let's pay attention to the King's turn!" The MC yelled.

Jack proceeded to turn around and drive towards Hunter. "I release Dark Resonator to Advance Summon Big Piece Golem (2100 Attack)!"

"Will he use his set card?" The MC wondered.

"Whatever you do is pointless! Stop struggling!" Hunter Pace yelled.

"I activate the trap card Revival Gift!" Jack yelled out.

"The trap card Revival Gift lets him Special Summon one Tuner Monster from his graveyard!" MC explained.

"From my graveyard, I Special Summon the Tuner Monster Dark Resonator (1300 Attack)! And then…" (1500 Defense)

"Why are they on my field?" Hunter was confused.

"This is the surprising effect of Revival Gift! It Special Summons two Gift Fiend Tokens on the opponent's field! But looking at the situation, that effect looks like a negative for the King. What is the King planning?" The MC was curious.

"Level 3 Dark Resonator tunes Level 5 Big Piece Golem! The pulse of the King now forms a line here! Witness the power of the rumbling heavens! Synchro Summon! My soul! Red Dragon Archfiend (3000 Attack)!"

"It finally arrived! The King's mightiest ace Red Dragon Archfiend! It is so beautiful that the entire stadium swallows its breath!" MC was amazed, as was the crowd.

"It arrived!" Hunter seethed.

"Battle! Go! Absolute Powerforce!" Jack cried out as his monster destroyed Burning Skullhead and the two tokens.

"Due to the attack, Gift Fiend Tokens have been destroyed! That's Red Dragon Archfiend's monster effect! When it attacks a monster in defense position on the field, all monsters in defense position on the opponent's field are destroyed!" MC yelled.

Jack returned to driving forward. "I activate my trap card! Lineage of Destruction. The King has shown his violent fangs! With Lineage of Destruction, for every monster in defense position that was destroyed, the target monster can attack again! I destroyed three monsters in defense position this turn. Therefore, it can attack an additional three times!"

"Three additional attacks? No way!" Hunter was shocked.

"Witness the power of the King! Finish him, Red Dragon Archfiend! Absolute Powerforce!"

"The challenger's life points have instantly decreased by 3000 points!" MC cried out.

"This will be the final attack! Didn't you say that you would become the King on the next turn? Well, this is reality! Kneel before the King! Absolute Powerforce!"

"No way!" Hunter Pace yelled out as his life points hit zero. His Duel Runner came to a stop.

"While you were bragging about your consecutive attacks, you were unable to finish me during your own turn. You don't have the right to challenge the King!" Jack informed Hunter.

"It's over! The King was too strong! The breathtaking counterattack made this greater than his previous duels! He is powerful and invincible! He has once again defended his undefeated legend!" MC cheered.

"There is only one King, and it's me!" The crowd proceeded to cheer Jack's name. "This pathetic duel can't quench my thirst!" He thought.

"He won again!" Leo cheered on Jack, happy to see that Jack Atlas had won another Turbo Duel.

"That's nice, Leo," Luna said, not completely invested in the Duel that just occurred.

"Hey, come on! Jack Atlas is one of the best Duelists of our time! And someday, I'll be right up there with him," Leo said with excitement in his eyes.

All of a sudden, a vortex formed in the middle of the room and Rarity popped out of it, much to the shock and confusion of the twins.

"Whoa. What was that?" Leo asked, in awe upon noticing the duel disk on Rarity's arm. "Are you a duelist?!"

"Um, yes? Who are you?" Rarity asked the young boy. However, before he could answer, Luna answered for him.

"My name is Luna and this is Leo. You're in our apartment in the Tops District. Now, tell us who you are and where you came from, please," Luna answered.

"Oh, well my name is Rarity. I come from a different dimension and I came to visit some friends of mine. However, it appears as if they aren't here. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get going," Rarity began to leave the apartment before Leo interrupted her.

"Aw, come on! You just got here! Can we at least have a duel first?" Leo pleaded. "I wanna face off against someone other than Luna for a change."

"Hold on, Leo! We don't know if we can trust her. Maybe we should just let her leave," Luna suggested.

"Luna, this woman needs help. We can help her. We should at least give her a chance. At least let me duel her, first," Leo countered.

"Well, all right. But you need to have her agree first," Luna accepted.

"Well, I guess I can duel against him. But be warned. I graduated among the top of my class at Duel Academy," Rarity warned Leo.

This only got Leo more excited to duel. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"I can't believe I'm gonna duel a Duel Academy graduate. So, are you planning to duel against Jack Atlas? He is the best duelist I know! And it would be cool for a dimension hopper to duel him!" Leo was very excited.

"Hold on, Leo. Just remember to give her room to breathe," Luna reminded her brother.

"I'm sorry. I'm just so excited. Can I please have the first turn, Rarity?" Leo asked.

"Sure thing, Leo," Rarity agreed.

"The first turn is mine! I draw. I summon Morphtronic Magnen in attack mode (800 Attack)! I then place two cards facedown and end my turn," Leo ended his turn.

"My move, then. I activate the spell card Rose Bell of Revelation! With it, I can add a plant monster with 2400 or more attack points from my deck to my hand. And I'll add Gigaplant to my hand. Next, I activate my spell card's effect from my graveyard, removing it from play to summon Gigaplant from my hand (2400 Attack)! Next, I summon Gigantic Cephalotus (1850 Attack)! Next, I equip the spell card Fairy Meteor Crush to Gigaplant! I now have Gigantic Cephalotus attack your Morphtronic Magnen!"

"Hold on! I activate my trap Morphtransition. This negates your attack and switches my monster to defense mode (800 Defense)!" Leo blocked the attack.

"Well then, I have Gigaplant attack your Magnen!"

"Oh." Leo responded.

"My turn! I activate the spell card Double Summon! This allows me to summon twice this turn. So, now I'll summon Morphtronic Boomboxen(1200 Attack) and Radion(1000 Attack)! Thanks to Radion's ability, both my monsters gain 800 attack points (2000 Attack/1800 Attack)! Next up, I activate the equip spell card Double Tool C&D! It increases the Attack points of my Boomboxen by 1000 during my turn! Now, Boombox, attack Gigaplant!"

"I activate my trap card Wall of Thorns! This trap negates your attack and destroys all your face up monsters in attack mode!"

"Not so fast! I play my trap Morphtronic Forcefield! With it, I can negate an effect that would destroy a Morphtronic and destroy the card. Then, I add one Morphtronic from my Deck to my hand. And I choose Morphtronic Map! Now, Boombox, continue your attack!"

"I end my turn," Leo proceeded to get very excited. "Hey, Luna! I'm winning against this new girl! See? I can make it big someday! And this duel will be my starting point!"

"Um, Leo? I know you're excited, but maybe you should celebrate after the duel is over," Luna suggested.

"Your sister is right, you know. I still have a move to make. My turn! I summon Twilight Rose Knight to the field (1000 Attack)! And then, I'll play his special ability to summon Lord Poison from my hand. Finally, I'll tune my Twilight Rose Knight with my Lord Poison to Synchro Summon Black Rose Dragon (2400 Attack)!" I activate my dragon's special ability! Now I can destroy all cards on the field. I then play the spell card Monster Reborn in order to Special Summon my dragon from the graveyard. Now, I attack you directly!" Leo's life points went down to zero. "Good duel, Leo. You should be proud. You almost beat me."

"Yeah. Yeah. But I still lost. So much for jumpstarting my dueling career," Leo moped.

"Hey, don't be too down, Leo," Luna comforted her brother.

"Yeah. You still came close to winning. Given time and practice, you could end up becoming a great duelist someday," Rarity complimented her opponent. "Trust me, this comes from a girl that isn't even a pro duelist but knows some pros herself."

"Wait, you're not a pro?" Leo was surprised. "Wow. I never would have guessed."

"Well, anyway, I might as well get going. I have friends to find," Rarity was about to leave when Leo suddenly grabbed her hand.

"Hold on. If you're looking for some people and don't know where to look, maybe you can stay with us for the time being. Consider this a thank you for the amazing duel. Plus, in the meantime, you can give us some pointers," Leo suggested.

Rarity proceeded to look at Luna, "Hey, if it means anything, I think that you are a good person and am okay with you staying," Luna said.

"Alright. I'll stay for the time being," Rarity accepted the offer.

If you're wondering, I did slightly change the effect of Rose Bell of Revelation for this fanfic. Well, next time we get to a duel I've been waiting some time for.
