A/N: And I'm back with a new chapter! I had nothing much to say, so let's get this new chapter started!
Disclaimer: I don't own Ed, Edd n Eddy and Ever After High and by extension, My Little Pony, Total Drama, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, RWBY, Dan VS. and Monster High.
Inside the story book of legends, as everyone waited for Briar Beauty and Apple White to return, Eddy decided to take his time to read to letter he found during his time inside the story of the 'Emperor's New Clothes'.
After reading the contents of the letter, Eddy's eyes widen in shock, "My... God...'' he muttered.
Maddie walks towards him, "What's wrong, Eddy?'' she asked with Blondie, Raven and Ashlynn joining them.
"I just discovered something that might change Headmaster Grimm's view of following one's destiny forever.'' Eddy claimed, "And it's all written in this letter.'' he pointed out.
"Where did you find that?'' Raven asked.
"I found it alongside the page when I went inside the book.'' Eddy answered with a thumb jabbed towards a certain large book.
"So, what's is say?" Maddie asked with an excited expression.
"And what do you mean by 'might change Headmaster Grimm's view of following one's destiny forever'?" Ashlynn added.
Eddy looks back at the letter in hand, "Before that... this letter is written by some person named Jerobe Grimm.'' he pointed out, "Anyone heard of that name?'' he asked, "He does share the same last name as Headmaster Grimm and the bearded old dude from down below.'' he stated.
Maddie crosses her arms and began to think, "Nope.'' she quipped, "Doesn't ring a bell.'' she said.
"First time I ever heard of that name.'' Raven admitted.
"Me, too.'' Ashlynn said in agreement.
Blondie then let's out a gasp, "I think I've heard that name before.'' she claimed.
"You do?'' Raven asked.
Blondie nodded, "I've been hearing rumors that a relative of Headmaster Grimm enters the story of book of legends to do some research and is never seen again.'' she explained.
Cupid and Cedar joins them, "If that were true... then where is he?'' the former questioned.
"Due to the Heritage Hall appearing only once a year and who knows how long the guy has been in this place, so it's safe to say that he's long dead by now.'' Eddy deduced with a casual smile.
Cupid chuckled nervously, "Come on, Eddy, don't say such morbid things.'' she advised.
"But why left a letter inside one of the books here?'' Cedar asked.
"Maybe because of the writings around the place... the letter might easily be mistaken as one, so he decided to hid it inside the books.'' Raven guessed.
"That actually makes sense.'' Blondie said in agreement.
"Anyway... according to the letter that the dead man wrote... spouses of Fairy Tale figures are allowed to choose a destiny of their own!" Eddy read out loud, much to everyone's surprise.
"Are you sure about that?'' Ashylnn asked.
"According to him, each spouses has the right to either to follow their parent's footsteps or created their own destiny but he honestly favors the latter because not only the kids get to choose their own destiny but they can also created a new story!" Eddy explained, "It's like a sequel to whatever part of the story your parents are left off.'' he pointed out.
"But what about the consequences of not following our destinies?'' Raven pointed out.
Eddy smirked, "There are no consequences... only results.'' he replied, "And I agree with him, you guys deserved to either follow your parent's footsteps or created your own destiny because in the end... you're creating a new story ready to be told for generations to come.'' he explained with a smile.
The girls looks each other before smiling, "Then let's show this letter to Headmaster Grimm once this is over.'' Raven declared.
"Yeah!" the girls exclaimed in agreement.
Meanwhile, as this going on, Alejandro is seen standing behind one of the books.
"Looks like they had a positive mood over there.'' Alejandro commented before looking down with a look of dread on his face, "Better not let them see this.'' he said while staring at a skeletal remains of a man wearing a fancy clothing buried under a pile of writings.
After that, Briar and Apple magically returned with the last page secured. The girls, Eddy and Alejandro arrives at the underground library and were greeted by Giles Grimm.
Maddie then handed the pages to the old man, the pages then raises up in the air and magically transforms into a stone tablet with weird writings, much to the everyone's confusion.
"That's the Story Book of Legends?'' Eddy questioned in disbelief, "Looks like something that can be found from the pyramids of Egypt.'' he commented.
"Maybe because it's ancient?'' Alejandro suggested.
"Well, what does it say?" Ashlynn asked.
Raven began to read the stone tablet, "Speech return, words you say. Break this curse, for our new day"!" she read out loud.
Everyone looks around but nothing happened, "Nothing happened." Briar commented.
Giles then turns to them, "But it did." he confirmed, "You retrieved the pages so you could break my curse.'' he stated.
"He says we retrieved the pages-" Maddie was saying when she gasped in realization, "-Giles! You can talk!" she exclaimed in joy, "Like, everyone can understand you, talk!" she cheered before hugging the old man.
Giles hugs her back, "Yes, Madeline." he confirmed, "And for that I thank you-all of you!'' he said in gratitude, "It took extraordinary courage for you to face those challenges. You are all a credit to your stories.'' he complimented.
Apple then spoke, "But, Mr Grimm, if we weren't searching for the Storybook of Legends, do you know where it is?'' she questioned.
"No... but I know who took it!'' Giles claimed.
"Who?" Cedar asked.
Giles then turns to Raven, "The Evil Queen.'' he answered with narrowed eyes.
This taken Raven aback, "My mother?" she muttered in shock as Giles as made an exploding noise. Raven then sat down, "My mother stole the Storybook of Legends!'' she exclaimed, "Why?" she asked as Apple placed a hand on her shoulders.
Giles shook his head, "I do not know." he answered, "But I can tell you this, years ago your mother tried to expand beyond her story and bring evil to all the tales. And my brother and I, we stopped her!'' he explained.
"But, why are you down here?" Blondie asked
"Yeah... shouldn't you be like the secondary headmaster of this school?'' Alejandro pointed out.
"Oddly enough, because of my brother.'' Giles answered.
"What! Why?" Ashlynn asked in shock.
Giles sighed, "A long time ago when my brother and I were just boys... while I always respected our fairytale past, I also thought of that each of us should be able to write our own destiny.'' he explained.
"And the Headmaster didn't like that." Cedar pointed out.
"Indeed he did not." Giles confirmed, "He cursed me with that babble spell and imprisoned me here." he stated.
"Wow! That's some brotherly love.'' Eddy grumbled with a blank look.
"But your curse is lifted now." Cupid said with a smile.
Giles smiled, "Yes! Thanks to you extraordinary girls and boys!'' he said in gratitude, "Now, come, Thronecoming is almost upon us!" he beckoned.
"Are you coming with us?" Apple asked.
Giles chuckled, "Well, now, I haven't been to a party in ages!'' he confessed, "I wouldn't know what to wear.'' he mused.
"We'll help!" Apple volunteered as everyone shared a hearty laughter while Briar looks away with a frown.
Eddy then approaches Giles, "Mister Grimm, I want you to read this.'' he said handing the letter to the older man.
Giles then proceeds to read the letter, his eyes widen before smiling, "I see... you went this far to create change.'' he muttered in joy, "Don't worry, I'll do my best to honor your last request.'' he declared in determination.
That night, everyone are now preparing themselves for the Thronecoming event. Cedar and Cerise are getting in their room and so does, Holly & Poppy and Maddie & Kitty in their respective rooms while Daring is preparing himself in his room along with the Three Bill Goat Ruffs.
Meanwhile in Ashlynn and Briar's room, we see the daughter of Sleeping Beauty sitting on her bed while Raven, Apple, Ashlynn, Blondie and Cupid happily putting make-ups on themselves.
Briar then noticed something glowing underneath their carpet, much to her curiosity when Ashlynn spoke, "Hey Briar, can you come help me with my hair?" she called out.
"Uh, yeah, umm...coming." Briar replied before getting off her bed.
Later that evening at the Grimmnasium, the party is on full-swing as students, all-dressed up on the occasion, are having quite night with each other's companies.
As fairies flies around offering drinks and treats to students, we see Ms. Trollworth and Alejandro setting up refreshments on the table when the Three Little Billy Goat Gruffs snagged the foods away, much to their ire.
Meanwhile, Pied Piper was about to take a photo of Tiny and a girl when suddenly, Daring, Hunter, Hopper and Coach Gingerbreadman appears before the camera with a trophy in hand.
After that, we see Eddy alongside Daring, Hopper and Hunter hanging out at one part of the area with drinks in hand.
"So, what do you think of Thronecoming, Eddy?'' Hunter asked.
"I'll admit... it's a lot fancier than Fall Formal.'' Eddy answered, "I just hope that no jealous alpha-bitch will come and ruin the night like a certain bacon-haired girl did during the Fall Formal.'' he stated.
"Do I even want to know what actually happened that night?'' Hunter asked.
Before Eddy could reply, they heard gasp of awes, they then turns their attention at the entrance as Raven, Apple, Ashlynn, Briar, Cerise, Cedar, Holly, Poppy, Kitty, Lizzie and Maddie enters the Grimmnasium, and each girls are wearing a colorful and very elegant dresses, much to everyone's awe and astonishment.
Hopper was slack-jawed at their beauty that he turns into a frog while Eddy can't help but stare at every girl in awe.
"Men... the beauty of the girls in this world never cease to amaze me.'' Eddy commented.
Hopper then hops on his right shoulder, "I whole heartly agree with you, my friend.'' he said in agreement.
Everyone then gathered around the stage with Milton standing in front of a podium.
"Welcome, everyone..."Milton greeted only to get some noisy feedback from his microphone causing everyone to cringe. Humphrey then appears on stage to fix the microphone on Milton's collar. After fixing it, Milton spoke again, "...to Ever After High's... Thronecoming dance!'' he declared with his arms wide open, accidentally knocking off Humphrey on stage but was caught by the crows as everyone let's out a cheer, "The school tradition where we spellebrate our stories and those who came before us." he stated.
Suddenly, the spotlight was then focused on Melody Piper at one booth, "We'll get to the big announcement, Thronecoming King and Queen soon!" she exclaimed, "But now, let's get this party started." she declared, "Follow me!" she beckoned.
And with that, Melody began to play a loud banging music, she then pressed a button caused a ray of light to shoot towards the disco ball, showering the entire area with colorful lights while old photos of Ever After High alumni are being shown on the screen at the stage.
Everyone gasped in awe as they began to dance to the loud and upbeat music! Eddy(with Hopper still on his shoulder) and Hunter were about to head towards the refreshment table when suddenly, Poppy and Ashlynn pulled them into the dance floor.
Meanwhile, Daring noticed Cerise at one corner of the place and decided to approach her.
"Cerise." Daring called.
"Oh, hey Daring." Cerise greeted.
Daring rubs the back of his head, "I-I-I just wanna say, that um, well, I am sorry I ever thought you were a "damsel-in-distress", and you really saved us out there." he apologized with a grateful expression, "So, yeah." he said.
Cerise was surprised by this, "Oh, thanks!" she replied with a smile.
"So, how about a dance?" Daring offered.
"Um, aren't there a few other girls ahead of me?" Cerise mused.
Daring noticed the screaming girls behind them, "But I, I'd rather dance with you." he said while holding her hand.
Cerise is once again surprised before smiling, she then quickly drags Daring to the floor, passing by Briar on the process. Briar is seen next to the refreshment table with a downcast expression while Baba Yaga accidentally dropping a sock into the punch bowl.
Briar then looks at the screen only to gasp when she noticed a photo with two girls in a familiar setting, "Madam Yaga?" she called out.
"Yes, my dear?" Baba Yaga answered.
"That picture... that looks like my dorm room.'' Briar pointed out, "But who are those people?" she asked.
Baba Yaga then puts on some glasses and looks at the screen, "Why, that's Little Red Riding Hood and... eh, the Evil Queen.'' she pointed out. Briar let's out a gasped in realization before running off, "Ms. Beauty!" she called out in confusion as Sparrow Hood did a spitstake after taking a sip of punch, much to his bandmates' amusement.
