Chapter IV: Harvey's New School!

A few weeks after Harvey returned home, he had tried to return to his normal life, but, sadly, the news of his transformation at the hands of Medusa Gorgon had spread like wildfire and as a result, he was suddenly on the receiving end of the same kind of cruelty he showed other mutants. Some even went as far as to submit him to all kinds of hate crime, and more than a few of the faculty of the Muerte Academy treated him like he was a monster, and he was even called that by many a student.

It didn't take long for Harvey's parents to make a decision that would change his life forever. After having a talk with Harvey; who'd been reduced to nothing but miserably pained tears and sobs by that point; and told the bucktoothed teen that arrangements were made to transfer him to the McClintock Institute for Gifted Children. Harvey didn't like it one bit, but then he remembered what Medusa had done to him and what kind of hatred he was subjected to that day and ultimately, he relented and agreed to enroll into the Institute and if he was being totally honest with himself, he needed his big sister now more than anything. So, an appointment was made and they were set for an interview with the Institute's headmaster, Montgomery Uno. After a few school-less days, Harvey was in his father's car (a DeLorean DMC-12 he supped up to look like the time car from Back to the Future Part II) and within the hour he was being driven to the Institute.

"Harvey McKenzie?" a soft, British-accented voice broke the awkward silence that had filled the waiting room Harvey and his dad were in as they waited for their turn alongside other parents with their own mutant kids.

"That's us, son." Aaron said sternly, "Come on, we've gotta do this. No point in turning back at this point." Aaron said as Harvey began quivering, clutching his father's arm tightly. Aaron noticed how much fear was filling his son and gave a pet to his head in an attempt to calm him down. "Don't worry, Harvey, I'm sure they'll let you in," he said, confident that after what Harvey had been put through at the hands of the students and faculty of Muerte and Medusa Gorgon, Headmaster Uno would let Harvey attend his school for mutants to try and help him adjust to his new life as a mutant and help him recover from the possible psychological trauma that he might have as a result of what Medusa did to him.

As for Harvey, his mother made sure that he was dressed for success, in both education and literal wardrobe, nothing like what you'd expect from a thirteen-year-old boy nowadays. He was clad in a black suit with a red tie. Although, his hair was all over the place thanks to the stress that Medusa and his classmates and teachers back at Muerte had inflicted unto him. It also didn't help Harvey's case that the bucktoothed teen was shaking and clutching his father's arm like he was still a little kid.

"Harvey, son, please, relax…" Aaron said as his arms wrapped around his son in a comforting embrace, "After what you've been put through, how could they not let you in?" Aaron asked as Harvey began to smile a little bit as he returned his father's hug and held the man tightly, his eyes beginning to water slightly. "Alright." Aaron took a deep breath and turned towards the double doors of the conference room, "Let's do this, son." Aaron said as Harvey pushed through the wooden doors, his eyes met with a somewhat plump man no older than thirty, maybe thirty-five. He had balding brown hair, a bushy mustache, and bushy eyebrows. Dressed in a flannel shirt, green pants, and matching suspenders, Harvey saw that his father was right: he was nothing to be afraid of after all. Headmaster Uno may have been a mutant, but he was also just an educator.

An educator who would decide whether or not he could attend his institution or not.

"Harvey McKenzie and…" the plump brit thumbed through his paperwork, "Aaron McKenzie?" he seemed harmless enough. Either way, Harvey stayed close to his father, neck shrinking back into his shoulders meekly.

"That's us." his father was much more outgoing than Harvey was at the present moment.

He smiled at Harvey, causing the young applicant to inhale sharply. "Oh my that's a dashing suit, who is it; P. Drilovski?" he asked, breaking professionalism for some small talk. Harvey could only stutter, caught like a deer in headlights, and soon, Aaron found himself forced to swoop in and save the day before Harvey made an ass out of himself and end up humiliating himself in front of Headmaster Uno.

"My wife made that suit herself." He said as he flaunted his beloved Rosalinda's sewing prowess.

Harvey blushed brightly as he was reminded of his mother, and if he was being honest, he might favor her over his dad, although, he knew Aaron wouldn't care either way, "Uh…yeah, she's a great seamstress." Harvey admitted as his face reddened with every word.

The man gawked, "Really?" he examined the fabric, "That's incredible!" Harvey's eyes opened widely as the headmaster praised his mother's workmanship, "I haven't seen anything like this since your sister, Rachel's first semester!"

Aaron smiled, "Oh, yeah, she gets her talent at sewing from Rosalinda!" he gushed as he tried to fudge his son's way into the Institute with flattery, "Rache said some very nice things about the Institute." Aaron said as he praised his daughter. That was when Harvey noticed that his father was, yet again, putting his older sister (who had started the second semester of her freshman year before the summer) up on a pedestal, as his parents were prone to do with the mutants they were related to. Even if they were adopted and not related to the McKenzie/Lloyd-Loud family by blood.

"Well we love having her here, Mr. McKenzie, and if I do say so myself, you've raised such a fine and upstanding young lady." Headmaster Uno admitted with a twirl of his mustache.

"Oh, well, you're too kind!" Aaron stuttered slightly. While Rachel may be an upstanding student, Harvey couldn't deny the fact that she was definitely a BIG girl for her age, with a case of extreme steatopygia, she had a considerably huge backside, one that caused her to need special accommodations made for her and made her need to get her pants from a store that catered to people who were either pregnant or morbidly obese. she could barely fit into certain seats and constantly tried to convince their parents to let her get reductive surgery done on herself with no success. Of course, that was nothing when compared to the size of Rachel's enormous rack. Her bust was a size that was able to be considered fairly voluptuous and looked to be either D-cup or DD-cup, and when combined with the size of her thighs, hips, and her butt, they all gave her an hourglass figure that other girls would kill to have. Rachel just didn't seem to like it or the accommodations that needed to be made as a result of her massive size that came with her transition from kid to woman, It was also worth mentioning that her abnormally large measurements were a source of constant insecurity for her

"Anyway, onto business." Headmaster Uno joked, "After all, that's why you're here isn't it?" The headmaster said, prompting Harvey to gulp nervously as he was snapped from his delusions of Rachel. This was it, the moment of truth…

"Your grades are superb, your extracurriculars are fantastic, and you have over 20 recommendations to other private academy's, even from Ouran Academy in Japan!" the man started, "Honor Roll, Principal's award, you've even been in the newspaper; to be frank, you could choose any private school in the world!" Harvey's face only continued to redden at the mention of all of his accomplishments.

"We would be honored to have you attend the McClintock Institute for Gifted Children." Headmaster Uno finally concluded with a dramatic shutting of the file folder in front of him and for a second, for but a brief moment, the entire room was silent. Harvey had stopped breathing, his chest no longer heaving. His thoughts grew still and his eyes scanned the room for some sign that it was a dream. The first thing he felt was his father grabbing his arm and his nails poking hard into its beefy, muscular shape.

"Did you hear that, boy?!" he all but shouted, "You get to go!" Aaron said. Harvey couldn't believe it; ever since he'd been turned into a mutant, he had entertained the notion of transferring to one of the most prestigious mutant schools in the nation, especially since his sister would be there, and was presently outshining all of the other mutants who went here and always visited during summer and the holidays and every time she came back smart as a whip. Harvey figured that it wouldn't be long until his plus-sized sister came home with lots of scholarships to a never-ending stream of colleges, some from out of the country. If he played his cards right, Harvey figured he could practically write his future after his powers manifested.

Headmaster Uno smiled too, his face stretched with a painted smile. "Alright, now there are a few things that we should probably get out of the way first-"

"Alright, shoot." Aaron jittered around excitedly

"Well, the customary Welcoming for starters, however, I would very much like to talk to you about finances and such."

Harvey sighed in relief, glad the interview was over. But on the other hand, he had been accepted into a school that would (hopefully) treat him like a person and not a monster. The large man behind the desk gave Aaron the address as well as a pamphlet about the school.

"Oh, and don't be afraid to check in now and then, I imagine his mother will miss him dearly." Headmaster Uno said as he bid the McKenzie's farewell as they left, Harvey having a bit more spring in his step as he floated from the plush chair he had wedged himself into, excitement ringing merrily in his ears with an anxious buzzing.

"Thank you very much, sir." Aaron was already halfway out the door before Harvey was steady on his own two feet.

And, exactly seven days later, Aaron drove Harvey up to the Institute as promised for his son to learn what his powers were, master them, and to get a proper education.

"Son, don't feel intimidated." Aaron wiped away tears from his son's cheek, "Don't let anyone push you around, and make as many friends as possible, okay?" Aaron said as he tried to calm Harvey down.

"I-I will Dad." Harvey couldn't help but cry, he was so going to kill Medusa for what she had taken from him. That much he was sure of. "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"The first thing you do is find your dorm," his father started crying now, he was always emotional at stuff like this, he had done the same with his daughter, but he never thought that he'd be doing the same with his son. "You'll be spending a lot of time with your roommate so try to get along with them alright? But don't worry if you don't, because you're a sparkling young man with loads of personality. You'll make friends in no time, son."

"Oh Dad." he squeezed his father tight, an understandably shapely form pressed against him.

"And please, son, try and watch your weight? I don't want you begging me and your mom for that godforsaken liposuction as much as she begs for that reductive surgery." Aaron said as he rolled his eyes as he remembered the many times Rachel got down onto her dimpled, steatopygic knees and begged him and Rosalinda to let her reduce the size of her boobs and her hips, thighs, and butt.

Regardless, Harvey laughed, "Oh Dad!" he giggled, unable to help but find it funny, "Like that'll ever happen!" Harvey laughed as he flexed his muscles. He was quite proud of his muscular physique, and also very vain about it.
