Just as a short note in the beginning, English isn't my first language and this is the first time I actually wrote in English, so I hope it's not too bad.

I hope you enjoy the one shot!

She had been sitting on the place by the window for about three hours now. It was her favourite place in the small cafe, watching the cars driving by and taking a sip of her coffee from time to time. She came here almost every day of the summer holidays; she came early and left late and spend the whole day watching the cars outside the window. Sometimes she brought a book, which she read instead of watching the cars. When she first went into the café, she wasn't alone. In the summer before their fifth year she came here with a friend. They sat on the same place where she now sat alone and were talking and laughing the whole day. In the next summer she came alone and started sitting alone on their place watching the cars and people.

Actually she wouldn't come here anymore, too much about this place reminded her of him, but if she wouldn't come here, she would have to stay home which wasn't too much fun because of her older sister. Her sister had been jealous of her ever since the letter came, she was jealous, Lily knew that, even if Petunia never told her exactly. Petunia, she was three years older than Lily, so her sister was 20, she 17. Petunia just got a new boyfriend, Lily had no idea what his name was and she also didn't cared about it. Petunia was going to introduce the family to her boyfriend this evening.

Lily sighed, took a look on her wrist watch and trunk the last sip of coffee out of her mug. Then she stood up, went to the counter and pulled some money out of her pocket to pay the coffee. The lady behind the counter smiled at her. "You're leaving early today, Lily." She nodded, took her change and smiled slightly. "My sister is introducing her new boyfriend to the family and my mother wants me to be there for dinner. Luckily I'm going back to school next week." The lady smiled again at her. "I'm sure you will handle the dinner, Lily Evans. You are an impressive and brilliant young woman."
