(Chapter 8: Tensions flaring, King Caesar rises again! )
(In the early hours of the morning)
It was around 5:AM Pacific Time, Godzilla was still sleeping on the shores of Monster Island. Body still heavily weakened from the brief fight with MechaGodzilla last night, he heard faint sounds of footsteps heading his way. His eyes opened to see a large dead SkullCrawler laying before him, then another one plopped right down. The confused King of the Monsters raised his head up to see Kong had brought him food.
Kong felt that Godzilla would need to be strong and ready to face MechaGodzilla when the time came, and nobody was going to come and drop nukes on Kong's island either. Megafauna SkullCrawlers that Kong originally fought way back in the 1970s did not contain radiation, any megafauna on the overworld didn't contain radiation unless they originated from within the Hollow Earth, where loads of titan radiation was located.
These new SkullCrawlers had red coloration on their back, just a tad bit larger than Ramarak the big SkullCrawler.
Godzilla lurched forwards and snagged an arm of one of the large SkullCrawlers into his jaws, pressing his arms down on the shoulder, and then tearing it from the body. Eating the limb of the reptilian fiend, feeling energized slightly, but enough to get him to stand on two feet.
Godzilla nodded towards Kong as a sign of respect and gratitude for the food, Kong nodded back and headed out to hunt for his own food. As Godzilla munched down on the body of another SkullCrawler, his eyes narrowed as he then knew what to do. He would have to defeat MechaGodzilla, no matter the costs.
(Earth's Rightful Rulers HQ, Alaska)
The three head leaders of the ERR had made it safely back to their headquarters within Alaska, speechless at what happened in Savannah.
"I haven't had that much fun in a long time." Floyd snickered, Alison seemed to be annoyed rather than impressed at her own performance.
"That bitch, Colonel Belinsky bested me in combat and I had to be saved by Floyd before I was crushed by a collapsing building." Alison complained with a groan, Floyd chuckled.
"Well you were fighting her in a hall, so it would be complicated to fight in such a confined space." Floyd answered, Alan Jonah was happy, satisfied with what happened during their mission in Savannah, Georgia.
"Regardless on how you both fared, we completed a major goal in killing Ford Brody. It's about time too, I shall have a feast for us three tonight for our victory and in memory of Mercutio's death." Alan Jonah said as he turned around with an evil grin on his face.
"What about Ren Serizawa? Isn't he with us?" Alison asked, Alan Jonah thought for a moment, including Jerome Hunter.
"Well, Ren seems to be enjoying his time within the Hollow Earth. Jerome seems to be keeping to himself mostly, it will be for us three." Jonah answered, Floyd didn't seem to understand why Alan Jonah wasn't overwhelmingly excited for their major victory against Monarch in the ongoing faction war between Monarch and the various governments and organizations that were trying to bring it down.
"Jonah, why aren't you excited over this? Why aren't you celebrating?" Floyd asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We need to keep our guard up, we can't drop it. I've got a plan though, the only time I'll jump for joy is when Monarch is on their knees. With the death of Ford, things can only go downhill than uphill.."
(A few weeks later)
(Outpost 54)
Kenny and Laura had healed up well, so much so that they could start training again with bandages over where they were cut into, specifically Kenny who received the worst damage of the two.
As for Alan Haas with Andy Williams, they were out of the ICU and in good condition. They had bandages over their torso, Andy happened to have a cast on his right arm. Alan Haas was walking with a limp, while Andy required a single crutch to walk.
Brayden Snow happened to be talking with Alan Haas in the hallway, speaking about the skirmish in Savannah.
"Well, things are going a bit better than usual." Brayden said with a smile as he sipped from his morning coffee, Vergil was still in the barracks wing, the others were in the control room area.
"Yeah, MechaGodzilla isn't tearing shit up." Alan Haas said, Brayden nodded and added on to the good news.
"Godzilla's vitals have appeared again, they are higher than ever and his radiation levels seem to be higher than they were last year." he added on.
"It still doesn't reverse what happened in Savannah, we can't get Ford Brody back." Alan muttered.
Even though a decent slew of good news had been coming out of Outpost 54, everyone was still sorrowful after the death of Ford Brody, especially Sam Brody since he also lost his girlfriend. Everything was still, silent..
"I know, but we've got to move forward." Brayden answered with a sigh, he didn't want to accept the reality that Ford Brody had fallen from this world, but he knew he had to.
"How? Ford was our general, we're nothing without him. We've got that stupid clown, Kenny Anderson being promoted to a higher place in command of this squadron. It's pathetic, who promoted that man into your place? Himself? Who the fuck is in control here?" Alan growled, getting a bit annoyed.
"I don't know, Alan Haas, I don't know. Everything is chaotic right now, but I've got more control and wits about me than Kenny, if anything I should be leading the Skull Squadron, not him." Brayden said.
"I'm not going to take orders from that bumbling idiot, ever since I was in the ICU, I've been thinking about leaving this place. Leaving Monarch as a whole, we aren't winning this pathetic faction war. We've lost a few people, but it is a few too many." Alan said, turning to face Brayden.
"I understand your decision, and you can go on a hiatus if you want to. Just don't go and do anything stupi-" Brayden couldn't finish his sentence before Alan cut him off angrily.
"Think of all the people we've lost, I'm going to give you a quick rundown of everyone we've lost ever since this faction war shit started in 2019. We've lost: Dr. Graham, Dr. Serizawa, Admiral Stenz, nearly the entire damn Skull Squadron before we came in, Dr. Chen, Dr. Ling, Diane Foster, Jackson Barnes, Billy Chapman, Ford Brody, Jerome Hunter, and potentially Germaine Noyala. Out of all of those fucking people, Jerome Hunter and Germaine has a chance of still being alive." Alan protested.
"This wasn't going to be painle-" Brayden was again cut off.
"How many of our enemies have we destroyed? Only three ever since 2019. We've killed Asher Jonah, Kaiyo Hanson, and the latest being Mercutio. Two of those enemies aren't even the serious threats. It seems like the ERR has got an advantage over us, they always do, one step ahead every single damn time. That's how they keep picking us off one by one.." Alan continued ranting, Brayden was starting to get fed up with this. The next words Alan Haas would say, would set him to his limits.
"If I'm being honest with you, Brayden. I'm thinking about joining Alan Jonah and them people, Monarch can't provide enough safet-" Alan Haas was instantly dropped by a massive punch to the jaw.
"You want to join our arch nemesis!?" Brayden screamed furiously, feeling betrayed at his words, he viciously stomped on Alan multiple times.
Alan Haas rolled away from another stomp and kipped up to his feet, charging shoulder first into the mid-section of Brayden, ramming him against the wall with a loud bang.
"If Monarch cannot provide safety for those who work in it, then so fucking be it!" Alan screamed furiously as he rammed his fist into Brayden's jaw, slumping him down onto his ass.
"You would do this, after...after all of these years of working with Monarch. After all these years with us knowing each other to a personal level before we even got here, you would stab me in my back.." Brayden growled as he got back up, rage starting to overcome him, he dug into his pocket and pulled out a knife, running over to Alan Haas, ramming it into his gut..
"Get your ass down to the medical wing, get yourself some first aid..." Brayden growled as he shoved Alan Haas back, not finished talking to him as he walked off, slipping the blade back into his pocket.
"I don't take lightly to traitors, especially when a friend that I've been with since my teenage years, betrays me when the going gets rough." Brayden finished as he walked around the corner. These actions were caught on a security camera, and Kenny Anderson, the self proclaimed "leader" of the Skull Squadron would have words.
(Mount Everest)
Ren Serizawa had arrived with a sagoth militia at his side as escort, traversing through a hollow earth tunnel on their beastly animals in order to get there fast enough.
The son of Dr. Serizawa looked upon the towering metallic beast with a look of admiration and satisfaction, a smirk creeping onto his lips.
"So this is the one destined to end the life of Godzilla, and take back this world by force?" Ren asked with his hands on his hips, looking up at MechaGodzilla with a sinister grin.
"Yes, we've been repairing him for about a week now. It's about time to unleash him on the world yet again." a black hole alien engineer explained, large pieces of machinery detaching from MechaGodzilla's body.
A loud hum filled the entire hangar as the massive iron doors on the side of the mountain began to slowly shudder open, cold air rushing into the massive hollowed out room.
MechaGodzilla's eyes flashed yellow, a loud engine was heard roaring within him. His feet began to glow orange as he lifted himself off the floor, preparing to leave the mountain, and go on yet another rampage throughout the world..
(Outpost 54)
Thirty minutes would go on to pass, Kenny finished admonishing both of the men responsible for the skirmish in the hallway. Alan Haas receiving medical treatment, the unnecessary knife attack from Brayden Snow furthered his idea of leaving Monarch. The statement was made though, Brayden Snow clearly wouldn't hesitate to kill the powerlifting soldier if he joined the enemy side. Alan Haas rejected the idea of joining the ERR, but instead, he might form his own group of men. Only time would tell.
Andy Williams tried to speak with Alan Haas, but he shoved past him, and continued down the hall. Brayden Snow then emerged out from the interrogation room, meeting a livid Andy on the outside.
"What the hell is wrong with you? are you trying to tear down the Skull Squadron!?" Andy Williams screamed, getting into Brayden's face.
Brayden couldn't believe it, the Kaiju Club, his old circle of friends were starting to leave him behind, one by one.
Germaine had gone missing, Alan Haas hated Brayden now, and it seemed that Andy Williams would not be trusting Brayden Snow ever again. The only one that Brayden had on his side, was his brother..
"Listen, Andy. What if I told you, that Alan Haas wanted to stab you, me, and everybody else here that we know and love, in the back? What if I told you he wanted to join the Earth's Rightful Rulers?" Brayden asked, Andy's eyes went wide.
"Wha- y- you still didn't have to stab him though.."
"I'm sorry, Andy, but I'm not going to let the ERR keep getting away with this. If anyone tries to stab us in the back ever again, I'll kill them. Those sick bastards can't keep getting advantage after advantage over us, or else Monarch and the G-Team can kiss this Skull Squadron goodbye." Brayden answered, pushing past Andy Williams, knocking him off of his crutch, sending him collapsing to the ground.
The Kaiju Club, as friends at least, were no more. Although the four of them still worked for the same team, they would always be at odds. Chances of them getting back together would be very slim..
A few minutes would go on to pass, Andy Williams decided to have a talk with Kenny.
"Colonel Anderson, if everyone is going to be at odds with one another, I don't want to stay here. As of now, I've got no faith in this Skull Squadron anymore. I quit."
Kenny's heart jumped into his throat upon hearing his words, Andy used his crutches to get past him and headed down the hallway towards the elevator to head back up to the aerial vehicle docking bay, going to head back home.
"Andy, I can't lose any more from the Skull Squadron. We've lost Germaine, Jerome, we can't lose you!" He pleaded, but Andy wasn't listening. The elevator dinged, the doors opened, and with that, Andy Williams was out of sight.
"Andy, wait!" Kenny shouted, running down the hall towards the staircase. Going to head up to the next floor before taking the elevator up, and after Andy.
(Jayanti River, India)
As the weeks went by, a Monarch camp was built at the river. An excavation of the jungle around it began, digging had started around the soil in order to break down into the underground complexes of what was once an ancient Hollow Earth society housing the dormant King Caesar. A news helicopter was flying over the site, broadcasting the news of a brand new titan being discovered to the world!
The Russels and the priests remained in King Caesar's chamber, hearing the loud machinery dig into the ground as far down into the Earth as they were, they happened to be three miles below the Earth's surface!
King Caesar hadn't stopped moving around, as a matter of fact, his movements were getting worse. His growls became louder, his body began to vibrate and shake with what appeared to be anger. The walls of the hollow chamber shook and rattled due to the beasts rage.
"Are you sure he's getting mad because of a titan, or is he getting mad at the drilling around his home?" Mark asked, worried about what was going on with the monster.
"I don't know, so far everything has been relatively peaceful, all except for the loud noises, but King Caesar isn't typically bothered by this!" The priestess said loudly in a scared tone.
Madison looked down on a tablet, it was a camera showing the digging process from the air above the river. There was a scream, and suddenly the camera became fuzzy and filled with static. There was a faint boom coming from above the site, the helicopter had crashed from out of nowhere..
"Dad, what's going on?" She asked, Mark looked on his phone, it was blowing up with messages and photos of something flying in the air. Whatever was flying, was incredibly large.
Right when his phone began to blow up with messages, King Caesar dug his claws into the hard ground, his growls became louder, and his mouth seemed to be opened than closed. His eyes began to twitch, on the verge of opening. The guardian of the Jayanti River area began to reach his limits.
"We haven't seen King Caesar get this mad since 2019 and 2020, something is not right at all.." The priestess' father warned, but was incredibly confused as to what was happening.
Right after the father spoke, Madison's phone began to buzz.
***TITAN ALERT***
Madison began to panic, a titan alert had been displayed on her phone. The messages and pictures blowing up on her father's phone, King Caesar's enraged body language, and the explosion outside, they had to be connected.
"I think you need to wake him up, a titan is in this area, and I've got no clue what the intentions of it are, but if it is attacking humans, it is not wanting to be a good thing." Mark suggested, the priestess nodded her head.
The four of them began to leave the chamber as quickly as they could, praying within their minds that they could reach the surface and awaken the slumbering beast before it was too late and several innocent people was wiped out.
MechaGodzilla's scanners detected a large form of life within the Earth, three miles below the surface. The large machine decided to land on the ground, marching towards the Jayanti River with intentions of destroying the titan.
Eventually, the four would make it to the surface in time. MechaGodzilla was nowhere to be seen for right now, but he was coming..
"You two need to leave, now." The priestess warned to the Russels, they both agreed and hopped into a jeep, speeding away down towards a road in which would take them out of the area. A private helicopter was waiting for them, the same one they arrived in.
The priestess and her father stayed close as they both began to sing for their guardian to awaken:
"Even the great burning sun
Pierces through the curtain.
Beautiful morning sun
From sleep
The star wakes
My Shisa."
The two of them sang, deep within the Earth, King Caesar's heart began to beat faster, his anger starting to level out, controlling his temper.
"Beloved star of the beach, we are waiting for you to be here.
Shisa, strongly help,
Hear the young children's lament;
The tears on their cheeks.
Grant us your help.
Listen! My heart
Is burning! Is burning!
Shisa! Shisa! Shisa! King Shisa!"
The two sang in perfect unison, their voices a beautiful melody. Large mechanical footsteps were heard booming in the distance, Madison and Mark Russel looked over to see a large form of a mechanical Godzilla marching around the mountain.
"You've gotta be kidding me.." Mark gasped, Madison's heart leaped into her throat and it began to pound immediately afterwards. There was an unknown pagan symbol on the arm of MechaGodzilla, it seemed to be alien in appearance. Time was starting to run out as MechaGodzilla was quickly approaching..
"Even the great burning sun
pierces through the curtain.
Beautiful morning sun.
From sleep
the star wakes
my Shisa."
The priestess and her father continued to sing, nearing the end of their hymn and prayer song for King Caesar. Within his chamber, the guardian monster began to stir around, wiggling it's fingers and shaking the body off of dust. A sense of urgency began to unravel in his mind, something was going on, humanity needed to be saved..
MechaGodzilla let out a roar as the priestess and her father could see him coming now, dangerously close now.
"Beloved fruit of the coconut tree, we are waiting for you to be here.
Shisa, strongly help;
Red king of the day, I am calling you.
Listen to my request, grant me this.
Listen my heart
Is waiting! Waiting!
Shisa! Shisa! Shisa! King Shisa!"
BOOM, the entire underground complexes built over the chamber exploded in a cloud of dust and dirt being flung high into the air with an explosive burst.
The sheer force of the blast killed the priest and his daughter, sending several other Monarch operatives flying into the air, killing them as well. The dirt cloud fell over King Caesar as he began to climb out of the hole, letting out a mighty lion like roar into the Heavens above!
The Russels looked on in awe as they got closer to the helipad, King Caesar had risen again, and boy was it a sight to behold.
King Caesar's wolf like ears perked backwards, baring his fang like teeth, he padded around the corner to see MechaGodzilla coming right his way. He let out a low growl before unleashing another mighty roar, MechaGodzilla roared back, causing the wolf-lion beast to rush towards the metallic doppelganger of Godzilla.
King Caesar got into a full charge, and once he was within range, he lunged up on his hind legs. Grasping his clawed paws around the head of MechaGodzilla, biting at his face as much as he could.
MechaGodzilla's eyes flashed static for a few seconds every time King Caesar took a bit into the metallic snout and head, but the steel giant quickly jerked his entire body around, chopping the guardian monster in the back, successfully knocking him off for a moment.
King Caesar roared again, showing how territorial he was before lunging up, slashing at MechaGodzilla's chest, a great amount of sparks went flying off with an explosive screech as titanic claws slashed into an otherworldly steel material.
MechaGodzilla shrieked out a roar as he went for a kick, only for King Caesar to back up, and then lunge up into the air. Swatting his claws hard across the face of his enemy twice in a row, fighting viciously. MechaGodzilla backed away, facing in the opposite direction of his guardian foe.
With MechaGodzilla's back turned, King Caesar lunged on the back. Biting into the neck, his large fangs piercing right into the otherworldly steel. Sparks surged out from the puncture holes, his tail suddenly sprung up and stabbed into the unprotected top part of King Caesar's back. The guardian beast let out a groan of pain before being flung off.
King Caesar had a gash on his back from where the sharp tip of the tail nailed him, but he wouldn't back down without a fight. He took a few steps back and tried to re-evaluate a battle strategy, he seen MechaGodzilla's eyes flashing rapidly before firing a multi-colored ray right towards him!
King Caesar ducked his head down, allowing the large purple gem in the center of his middle head crest absorb the beam. Suddenly, the eyes of King Caesar flashed, and the multi-colored ray rushed out of his eyes, hitting MechaGodzilla hard on the stomach, driving him back!
It seemed that the legendary guardian was winning this fight, doing damage to MechaGodzilla. Something that both Kong and Godzilla couldn't do so far.
MechaGodzilla turned around once more, and fired at King Caesar using the finger missiles. However, the guardian beast was incredibly elusive. King Caesar ran alongside a mountain and sprung off, swatting MechaGodzilla across the face once again, and again the metallic doppelganger was reeling.
Large shudders on the legs of MechaGodzilla opened up in the knee area, two large missiles emerged, one from each respective knee. A confused King Caesar backed up to re-evaluate his attack once again.
King Caesar charged in, and MechaGodzilla launched his homing missiles right at his foe. The missiles bursting on the weak and unarmored underside of King Caesar, the guardian let out a pained roar and retreated around the corner of a nearby mountain to recover.
A shudder on the neck of MechaGodzilla slid open slowly, and a bright orange bolt emerged. Once the bolt struck the mountain in which King Caesar was hiding behind, it appeared to cleanly slice through it with ease, creating a small landslide, revealing King Caesar.
The guardian beast let out a roar and lunged from where he stood, claws extended, ready to strike. The jaw of MechaGodzilla opened up and a loud blasting boom was echoed across the Jayanti River area as a bright red beam bolted right into King Caesar's gut, knocking him out of the air with ease.
King Caesar slammed into the ground hard, letting out a pained growl as he tried to fight back. A shudder on MechaGodzilla's shoulder opened up, and several lasers fired out of what appeared to be some sort of turret. Each laser slammed into the head and shoulders of King Caesar at a rapid pace, forcing him to get into a bowing like stance until a kick was slammed into his unprotected stomach, sending him into the air and crashing back down.
Now MechaGodzilla seemed to be taking control of the fight, his jaw hung open, and he outstretched his arms. Three red beams fired from his body, one from the mouth, and two from his hands. Each beam hit King Caesar at the same time, forcing him onto his side, pushing him into the ditch in the finger missiles created moments ago.
Madison and Mark was now in the air, the father of the Monarch scientist was controlling it. An explosive boom was heard and a large jagged spine rose up from out of nowhere.
"Dad, look out!" Madison screamed, Mark just narrowly avoiding it. Madison looked out of the window to see a familiar saurian beast, rising from the ground. Coming to give King Caesar some aid against MechaGodzilla after traversing through a Hollow Earth passageway!
Godzilla's eyes locked on MechaGodzilla, now that he knew what he was up against, it was time to destroy him and rid the world of yet another alien threat..
The King of the Monsters let out a fearsome roar, getting the attention of MechaGodzilla. The head of his metallic doppelganger spun to the side within a second and aimed the right arm towards Godzilla, firing the red beam right at him. It connected with his chest, and Godzilla reeled back in pain, but he wouldn't lose so easily.
Godzilla fired his atomic breath at his foe, only for MechaGodzilla to lunge into the air and slam back down hard on the ground, avoiding it with an incredible jump. King Caesar emerged out from the ditch, glaring over at Godzilla, his red eyes widened, the great saurian king wasn't a beast he had seen in a long time!
The titan king charged forward, letting out a furious roar as he rushed towards MechaGodzilla. Trying to give King Caesar time to crawl out from the ditch he was shoved into.
MechaGodzilla turned his attention completely on Godzilla, firing the three red beams right at him. Each slammed hard into his torso, but the mighty Godzilla appeared to power through them, not stopping for even a second. Godzilla let out a furious roar with a mixture of pain, indeed these massive lasers hurt as they continued to repeatedly hit him over and over at a non-stop rate, but his determination was stronger than his pain.
Godzilla rammed himself into MechaGodzilla's body, shoulder first, trucking him. The metallic doppelganger was lifted off of his feet, knocked down to the back with an explosive boom. The King of the Monsters loomed over his enemy only to receive a multicolored ray right to the upper chest, Godzilla let out a growl of pain and fell back hard.
MechaGodzilla rose to his feet with King Caesar creeping up behind him, Godzilla climbed back up as well, teeth bared in a vicious snarl. King Caesar let out a ferocious roar, pawing the ground with his frontal paw.
Four large slots on MechaGodzilla's back opened up to reveal more turret guns! King Caesar was taken aback, not expecting this large machine to have guns on every part of the body. King Caesar glanced at Godzilla, ready to charge in on his king's signal.
Godzilla let out a roar, charging forward towards MechaGodzilla, King Caesar did the same from behind.
MechaGodzilla fired the multicolored beam at Godzilla at his front, while the four turrets on his back fired at King Caesar at the same time. Godzilla was brought back down to the ground once more, collapsing onto his stomach from the pain. The turret fire pushed King Caesar back, sand and dirt being thrown into the air in a large cloud, distracting King Caesar and blinding him for a moment.
Godzilla let out a growl of anger, sinking his claws deep into the ground and raking them back as he climbed up to his feet. A scorch mark had formed where he was hit twice by the multicolored ray, it packed quite a punch. King Caesar remained on his four legs, but they were wobbly, threatening to give way at any moment.
MechaGodzilla's spines began to flash, a loud hum emitting from them as he raised up his right foot, stomping down hard on the ground, releasing the brutal EMP style attack. Godzilla braced himself as the massive soundwave pushed him back, his feet digging into the ground, tracking dirt. It seemed harmless to him, it seemed to be stinging him with slight pain, that was until the bolts struck off of it. Once a single bolt struck Godzilla, he was nailed in the gills, and he collapsed.
King Caesar seen his fallen comrade and decided to rush in to protect his body, the bolts struck the guardian monster's armor, blowing chunk after chunk off of his body, but he was protected.
Within the helicopter in which Mark Russel and his daughter, the system began to freak out, lights began to flash on the control panel. The rotator blades seemed to slow down but boot back up within seconds. They were just out of range of the EMP blast, it did cause the two to think about landing it in case if something bad was going on.
Back at the battle between MechaGodzilla against the allied monsters of King Caesar and Godzilla, the two were getting slammed by an all out attack from MechaGodzilla. The three laser beams pounding them, the multicolored eye ray slamming into them, the missiles coming out of every point of his body as it seemed, the orange bolt firing from his neck.
The steel goliath did not let up either, this all-out attack was consistent and non stop. The heroic monsters were in great amounts of trouble now, the two struggled to even take a few steps forward to clash with their opponent. King Caesar suddenly collapsed, which Godzilla didn't seem to notice thanks to the large amounts of noise and explosions going on all over his body, his eyes glaring over at MechaGodzilla full of determination to land a solid blow to him.
Thankfully for the two monster's sake, this all-out attack had a limit to where it wouldn't fire anymore and each attack had to be used separately. The weaker willed monsters usually collapsed or were killed, MechaGodzilla stood still, his camera like eyes watching and recording what was happening until a weakened Godzilla emerged out from the cloud of dirt and smoke.
Godzilla was breathing heavily, clearly showing signs that he was damaged. Scorch marks and bloody marks were all over his body at this point, he nearly fell down, but his will power kept him standing.
Now that MechaGodzilla seen that his enemy was standing, he lunged into the air and rushed towards the Big G, unleashing his multicolored ray. The beam struck Godzilla hard on the upper chest, causing him to stagger back in pain with a roar of agony, he fired his atomic ray up towards him, but he missed as MechaGodzilla dodged.
The King of the Monsters turned around, facing his metal doppelganger once again as he turned around within the air, firing the multicolored ray again. Once it connected, a chunk of flesh went flying off of Godzilla, blood began to spew out from the gash. Godzilla let out a high pitched roar of severe pain, his large legs started to feel wobbly as he was nailed again by the beam.
More blood spewed forth from Godzilla, causing him enough pain to collapse onto the ground, holding himself up with his arms. Even his strong arms felt weak and wobbly, threatening to give way. The Big G glanced over at King Caesar, his ally was laying on his side a bloody mess, his eyes were open and had blood trickling out of his mouth. Godzilla didn't believe the guardian monster to be alive.
MechaGodzilla wasn't done yet, and fired the beam one last time down at the King of the Monsters. This beam is what took him down at last, falling limp and his vision fading to black..
(Outpost 54)
"The radiation levels on both of those monsters are falling rapidly, their vitals are fading fast.." Dr. Stanton said in a loud and worried tone, everyone in the room had fallen silent, a few news helicopters were flying a safe distance away to film the action.
The crew seen MechaGodzilla lowering down into the hole Godzilla crawled out from, who knows were he would be going to.
"We can't just let them die, we've got to do something." Laura said, but she didn't know what to do at this point.
Dr. Stanton laughed. "Well, we can just nuke 'em again. Can't we?" He joked, but everyone else remained serious.
"No, people live there, Dr. Stanton. We can't have any innocent people die, there must be another way." Laura answered, Vergil Snow entered the room.
"Why can't we use a maser tank to give them high amounts of radiation, I saved Godzilla last year doing the same thing, we can save him along with Simba here." Vergil explained, "Simba" being a reference to King Caesar.
Suddenly, the cameras caught MechaGodzilla shooting out of the hole and flying right into the air, heading out of sight. The helicopters began to follow him, tracking his movements!
The steel goliath seemed to have a large circular mark on the body, it looked heavily damaged by something..but what?
The cameras caught a magnificent sight, as none other than Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters, emerged out from the hole.
She let out a chirp as she looked around, noticing Godzilla, her blue beautiful eyes seemed to widen in horror as she immediately flew towards her downed friend.
The insectoid titan crawled on top of Godzilla, spreading out her wings in which began to glow white. A blue aura enveloped the two titans, showing off the symbiotic relationship between the two. Godzilla let out a groan, and turned around to look up. A warm smile seemed to come to his saurian face, as he gently rubbed his head against Mothra's fluffy thorax.
Mothra chirped affectionately as they rubbed their heads against each other, Godzilla getting more and more healed as time went on. Mothra looked over at the downed King Caesar, she could see the life fading from him, and fast.
Mothra crawled off of Godzilla, and headed towards King Caesar where she climbed on top of him and performed the same healing magic she did to Godzilla. The Queen of the Monsters had sensed that MechaGodzilla could bring great devastation to the world, and so she decided to help at the right time.
Laura had watched Godzilla and Mothra loving on one another and had a warm cutesy smile to her face.
"Couple goals.." She muttered, thinking about her and Kenny.
Dr. Stanton let out a laugh.
"Heh, a happy moment. Those two should get a room."
The cameras continued to follow after MechaGodzilla, the Monarch operatives within the control room watched in suspicion. He flew for around an hour, MechaGodzilla eventually out flying the helicopters, the choppers continued to fly in the direction they guessed that their suspect fled to.
The helicopters eventually flew over Mount Everest, Dr. Stanton's watchful eye caught something strange.
"Wait, pause the clip!" He called out, the camera was paused but the helicopters continued to catch footage of it.
"Do you guys see that?" Stanton asked, pointing to something on the screen.
"No, are you high?" Laura asked.
"No, do you see those red lights?" Dr. Stanton asked again, Laura approached the screen and took another look to see what appeared to be four red glowing dots on the side of the mountain.
"Wait, what?" Laura asked as she seen them too.
"Have they been doing any construction work on the mountain or something?" Dr. Stanton continued to ask, Laura began to search up records of Mount Everest being in the news as of lately.
"No, no construction. But a climber has reported that it felt like metal, it says it in a news article from seven weeks ago." Laura explained, Alan Haas suddenly entered a room.
"I think we should send out a drone to survey the radiation around the mountain, I've got no clue why the mountain would feel like a metal type of material unless he confused it for ice." Alan said.
It seemed that the Monarch operatives of Outpost 54 were onto something, could they find out the secrets of the legendary mountain that no one has yet discovered?
