(Chapter 10: The battle on Monster Island)
MechaGodzilla kept his eyes fixated on Kong, his built in radar detecting King Caesar and Godzilla as well. It was a staredown, Kong wondering which monster would make the move first.
The shutters on the mechanical giant's neck slid open, revealing a glowing red apparatus. Shutters on the back of MechaGodzilla began to open up, the left arm of the steel beast outstretched to face in the direction of King Caesar.
Now Kong didn't know what this thing was capable of doing, but Godzilla and King Caesar knew it all too well, after being brutally defeated in India, they immediately charged towards their automaton foe. Kong, seeing the two beastly allies rush in, decided to charge MechaGodzilla as well.
An orange bolt crackled out from the neck of MechaGodzilla, hitting Kong square in his barreled chest, making him fall to the ground, a scorch mark where it connected. The finger missiles launched from the outstretched arm, hitting King Caesar, but the guardian of the Jayanti River lunged up and swatted his paw across the metallic head of MechaGodzilla.
The turret guns did not slow Godzilla down, the Big G rammed into the back of MechaGodzilla with a great velocity, knocking his metal doppelganger right down onto the ground hard with an explosive boom. MechaGodzilla shot forward, using the rockets underneath his feet to rush towards Kong, who was getting back up to his feet. The great ape managed to see him coming, lunging over him with a great vertical leap, getting into a roll upon hitting the ground.
The three titans lined up next to each other, letting out their respective roars towards their enemy, who was already up to his feet.
MechaGodzilla fired his multi-colored ray right towards them, King Caesar got a running start and jumped up, seeming to headbutt the beam. The ray of the gigantic metallic weapon being deflected right back at him.
MechaGodzilla reeled back, but didn't fall down, this would get all three titans to charge towards him, roaring in defiance.
The massive mechanical beast stomped his right foot down hard onto the ground, releasing the EMP blast towards them. Kong's eyes went wide as the large blue blast rushed towards him and his allies, a bright blue bolt burst from the wave and slammed into his chest, knocking him to the ground with a bang. King Caesar was blasted by another bolt, knocking him onto his side. A third bolt slammed into Godzilla's chest, making him slide back a bit, stumbling around, but regaining his footing other than his two allies.
King Caesar got back up to all fours, Kong slowly got back up to his feet. The most unfortunate titan in this situation was Kong, he had no natural body armor. He was as everyone called him, a giant ape. He did have his lightning powers, but those wouldn't activate unless a lightning bolt from some type of storm struck him or from some other titan, not by a machine.
His large chest began to trickle with blood from repeated blows to it, no major wounds, but a slight cut on his right pectoral. He growled furiously, wiping away the blood as he glared towards MechaGodzilla.
When the monsters recovered from the initial shock of the EMP blast, they noticed that MechaGodzilla seemed to be glowing with a blue aura. As if a glowing blue coating was all over around his metallic body, Godzilla approached first and attempted with a tail whip, a loud sizzling noise was heard, and the Big G retracted his tail away from his foe, snarling in pain as the end of his tail seemed to be steaming.
Kong was up next to try, rushing up towards MechaGodzilla and slamming a right fist right towards the head, another sizzling noise was heard. Kong growled out in pain as he grasped his right hand in pain, backing up with his fang like teeth being bared in pain. Whatever the blue coating was, it was hurting them, and effortlessly protecting MechaGodzilla.
shutters on the knees of the mechanized giant opened up, firing two missiles hurling towards Godzilla. They both connected, lodging into his flesh, half of them were stuck in, and the other half of them was stuck out. The King of the Monsters reached down to pull the missiles out of his body, as his hands locked around the bottom half of the missiles, they suddenly burst, causing Godzilla to let out a small roar of pain, two small chunks of rough, scaly hide, was sent flying down to the ground as blood began to trickle out of the two holes in his body.
Kong looked stunned at Godzilla having pieces blown off of his body, it wasn't often that things like that ever happened to the Big G. In the time of the two being allies, not once did the big ape see something like this.
Godzilla wouldn't let himself loose for a third time, and he charged forward instead of retreating or collapsing. The blue coating was still surrounding the steel goliath, but the monster king didn't care one bit, they would have to find a way to break it somehow. Godzilla attempted to perform his trucking maneuver, charging headfirst before driving his shoulder up with great force. It connected, MechaGodzilla and Godzilla came tumbling down to the ground.
Kong, as well as King Caesar, both noticed something happening with the blue coating. It seemed to flash a few times with a droning buzz echoing off of it, Godzilla got back to his feet and backed away as MechaGodzilla hovered back up to a vertical base.
MechaGodzilla opened up his neck shutter, firing the orange bolt right at Godzilla, hitting him right in the center of his body. The impact being enough to shift him back some, he remained standing. The steel behemoth wasn't done yet, firing his rainbow colored beam from his eyes, this time it was enough to cause Godzilla to fall down to the ground once again. Kong rushed over towards his ally, King Caesar rushed in to serve as a distraction.
The great simian guardian placed his hand on the top of Godzilla's head, transporting a telepathic vision within the saurian's mind. It was Kong's sight of the blue coating flickering, to tell Godzilla that they were doing damage to him now. King Caesar let out a roar as he lunged right into MechaGodzilla, delivering a vicious headbutt as hard as he could muster.
MechaGodzilla reeled back, again a loud droning buzz filled the air, and the blue coating flickered once more. King Caesar wasn't un-harmed, the gem on his head appeared to have a scratch on it, a sizzling noise was heard as well, the guardian creature gently pawed at his head in pain.
The King of the Monsters rose up to his feet, Kong had telepathically displayed an idea of his, the two fellow kings would see if it would work. Kong charged at MechaGodzilla, and so did the monster king, both roaring in unison as they approached the steel goliath.
As MechaGodzilla went to attack the big ape, Godzilla slammed into him viciously, knocking him off the ground, but the steel goliath didn't fall, he would end up landing on his feet as Godzilla was wanting, he didn't hit him as hard as he could. Kong ran past the two and darted around a mountain, Godzilla's shoulder was sizzling from the intense heat that the blue coating was providing, even a burn mark had been made in the same area, but Godzilla muscled through the pain.
The King of the Monsters slashed diagonally down at the mechanized replica of himself, the cameras built within MechaGodzilla's eyes went fuzzy for a moment as Godzilla struck him repeatedly. The monster king could see that the blue coating was starting to lose the effect, and it seemed to be flashing more rapidly with each strike.
Godzilla spun his body with a jerk, sending his massive tail slamming into the body of MechaGodzilla. The blue coating seemed to have a crack on it now, as the steel goliath staggered back. Kong leaped from the mountain behind MechaGodzilla and cupped his simian fists together, performing a flying axehandle on the top of the mechanized giant's head.
Out of desperation, MechaGodzilla turned his head to the side and fired towards Kong with his rainbow beam from his eyes, however, King Caesar lunged out, headbutting the beam, the multi-colored ray went into the gem and deflected right back into MechaGodzilla, a loud fireball engulfing the mechanical beast, a shriek was heard coming from the massive machine from within the ball of fire.
Godzilla, Kong, and King Caesar grouped together again, believing that their teamwork had done the trick. The smoke began to clear, MechaGodzilla was still standing..
The three kings couldn't believe it, how durable was MechaGodzilla? The steel goliath stood as still as a statue, not even a scratch had been made on his gleaming body. MechaGodzilla marched towards the three, planting his foot on a small rocky hill, aiming his arms out towards the three.
Godzilla knew what was coming, and so did King Caesar. The King of the Monsters let out a roar, commanding the other two monsters to charge towards MechaGodzilla again. Kong let out a roar and did as was ordered, as well as King Caesar.
MechaGodzilla unleashed his all out attack, firing his finger missiles, knee missiles, toe missiles, his orange bolt from the shutters on his neck, his eye beams. A massive cloud of dirt and smoke was fast to form, engulfing the entire area within seconds as the steel goliath let out a hiss as he continued his onslaught.
Godzilla received the brunt of the orange bolt and the eye beams, he had to muster loads of strength and willpower in order to try and surge through the attack, but the pain was just too much, forcing a high pitched shriek from the saurian titan, Godzilla collapsed onto his stomach in pain. Kong decided to curve around, leaving the smoke cloud in hopes of attacking MechaGodzilla's blindside.
King Caesar was slowed down, and eventually taken out by a missile in which had been fired from the toe of his metallic enemy. The missile had drilled right into the gem on his head crest, blowing it up, dealing major damage to the guardian of the Jayanti River. The guardian monster let out a loud whimper of agony as Kong suddenly slammed a huge right hand into the side of MechaGodzilla's head with a ferocious howling roar.
MechaGodzilla was knocked to the side, but he remained standing as the mighty ape viciously slammed the point of his elbows into the head of the mechanical giant over and over again while letting out furious roars. Elbow after elbow struck the robotic head of the steel goliath, causing the cameras to go even more fuzzy than before, even starting to glitch some!
The main controls were within the head, but Kong wasn't one to know that, he had no idea that the head was the weak point, the ape was going all out in trying to take down MechaGodzilla. The ultimate alien weapon spun around, trying to use his tail to whip Kong down, but the ape snagged it under one of his arms.
Kong reached up towards the other end of the tail closest to the body, jerking MechaGodzilla down viciously. Starting to spin around using his brute strength with MechaGodzilla spinning with him, as he spun all the way around, he flung the metal beast into the side of a mountain.
Kong pounded his chest before letting out a defiant roar, not taking his eyes off of MechaGodzilla. The ape knew if he could handle an assault from all three monsters, then he certainly could last against only one.
MechaGodzilla remained on the ground for a moment before rising to his feet, his computer quickly rebooted itself again, it had shut down after receiving the brutish assault of elbows from Kong. The ape was charging towards him, roaring ferociously.
MechaGodzilla opened fire at point blank, firing a massive stream of fire from the nose, his desto-fire attack. Kong was engulfed in the flames, letting out a screaming growl of pain as he desperately patted, fanned, and swatted at the fires with his hands, and arms.
Godzilla had clambered back to his feet once more, glancing over at the fallen King Caesar, and then towards Kong who was still engulfed in flames. Godzilla wouldn't see his allies fall, so his spines began to glow blue, intensifying further as they traveled up his back. Thanks to his new jagged, larger spines than his previous ones in years past, he was able to conserve more energy, the mechanical hum that usually sounded off when he charged his atomic ray had reached it's maximum power, now pulsating booms were echoing out from his spines. A bright teal glow began to emit within his gills, and his eyes as well.
A massive blue blast of atomic power burst from the gaping maw of the King of the Monsters, shooting right into the side of MechaGodzilla at full velocity, knocking him hard into the side of the mountain in which he was thrown into moments ago. MechaGodzilla got up again, to see a furious Godzilla staring daggers at him while letting out his roar.
Godzilla fired again, but the steel goliath retaliated by firing his rainbow beam. The eyes of the King of the Monsters went wide, another beam struggle was imminent. Kong was rolling on the ground now from the pain, successfully getting them off of his hairy body. King Caesar was still knocked out at this moment in time.
The beams collided, a massive fireball burst upon impact, sending a shockwave of air all throughout the island. Godzilla stepped forward, trying to put more power into his beam. His atomic ray began to overtake MechaGodzilla's, causing his mechanical counterpart to step back some. The spines on the steel goliath began to flash as more power was put into the rainbow beam.
Godzilla mustered up some more energy from within him, his heart rate began to slowly climb. Blue rings began to form around the blue ray, expanding the size of it as well. MechaGodzilla was pushed into the mountain some more, his spines flashed for a second time, and now the two were even again with the beam struggle.
Kong watched from the side with a look of shock on his simian face, he had never seen something like this before. Godzilla took another step forward, trying to not overload his body like he did last year against The Gryphon. His spines began to erupt with loud booms, pulsating with a massive amount of energy. His heart rate began to beat faster and faster, the beam struggle would quickly evolve into something much similar like his struggle with The Gryphon from last year if things kept up as they were.
MechaGodzilla then did something drastic, to save himself from losing this beam struggle. He aimed both of his arms at his opponent, firing red beams out of apparatuses built within both of his hands. The two beams struck Godzilla in the gut hard, causing his energy to suddenly crash, MechaGodzilla's beam then effortlessly overtook Godzilla's slamming hard into the King of the Monsters.
Godzilla let out an agonizing scream of agony as the beam of his enemy defeated his atomic ray, it was all because MechaGodzilla cheated to overpower him. King Caesar happened to be up on wobbly legs, threatening to give way themselves. Godzilla was on his side, a large red mark on his body from where the beam slammed into him.
Kong seen that his allies were down, and he was the only one standing. His body stinging in pain from the fires that had engulfed him for around a solid thirty seconds, he was breathing heavily, they had burned him pretty badly, but he wouldn't allow himself to be knocked out like he was in 1973 thanks to the napalm used by the crazy Colonel Packard.
Pain from Kong's burns turned him into a frenzied rage, he let out a wrathful roar, pounding his chest furiously with his singed arms. This would get the attention of his two allies, and one enemy. Dark clouds seemed to be forming over the island, for some unknown reason, they had came in from out of nowhere. These clouds seemed to be forming over the area in which the three titans were doing battle with MechaGodzilla, the clouds were also in a ring shape. The largest ring was high in the sky, miles wide, getting progressively smaller as the clouds got closer to the ground, forming a cone shape if viewed from the side.
MechaGodzilla turned around, just to be nailed by a superman punch from Kong. The strike was hard enough to knock MechaGodzilla onto his stomach, when the massive ape landed on his feet, the metallic blade at the end of MechaGodzilla's tail slashed Kong across the face, creating a noticeable cut underneath Kong's right eye, car sized droplets of blood slammed down on the ground below.
Kong was stalled for a moment as he wiped at his cut, glancing down at his hands to see it had a splotch of blood splattered all over it. This only angered Kong even further, forcing a roar out from the mighty ape as he mounted MechaGodzilla's back, raining down punch after punch on the back of the neck. The shutters on MechaGodzilla's back opened up, unleashing a hail of turret fire onto Kong's body. Tiny pricks is only what Kong felt, more annoying than painful, he continued to slam his fists down on the neck of his metal enemy.
MechaGodzilla began to rise up to his feet, now on all fours. Kong reached down and grabbed the jaws of the steel goliath, trying to pry them apart and break them similar to how he done with Ramarak in 1973. Sparks were seen flying out where the top and bottom jaw were connected to the head, Kong growled in satisfaction, thinking he was going to be successful until...
A bright red beam blasted Kong right in the face at point blank, causing him to fly off of MechaGodzilla and land down hard on his back. The ape felt lightheaded, his world was spinning. Vision blurred in and out, semi-conscious. A loud groan of pain came from the great ape as King Caesar began to regain the strength to fight, Kong had a strong will to fight. He could feel himself getting closer and closer to falling unconscious, but he wasn't there yet. He balled up his right hand and pounded it into the ground, cracking it beneath the fist.
Kong reached over and grabbed a large chunk of the mountain in which had a landslide after MechaGodzilla had repeatedly smashed into it earlier on in the fight thanks to the ape hurling him into it, and when he was having the beam struggle with Godzilla. Kong hurled the large rock at the machine, causing it to spin around only to get immediately lunged on by King Caesar, who held on tightly, biting on the top of MechaGodzilla's head savagely.
Kong managed to get back up to his feet a bit sluggishly, still feeling the effects of that point blank attack right to his face. He sent a right hand into the side of MechaGodzilla, King Caesar's body was flung out in the front of the mechanical giant as he was turned to the side by Kong's punch, this would allow MechaGodzilla to dispose of King Caesar once again, by firing his finger missiles right into the unprotected stomach.
The sky around Monster Island began to get drastically darker, as if a thunderstorm was about to start. If one was viewing the outside of the island, they would see that the perpetual storm system had wild lightning bolts striking in and out of it.
Torrential rainfall began to pound the battlefield as King Caesar was knocked to the ground once more, MechaGodzilla turned around and rammed his fingers into the stomach of the big ape, Kong grabbed the arm and let out a ferocious roar into the face of his mechanical enemy with no remorse.
MechaGodzilla simply responded with his desto-fire, another stream of fire erupted from the built in nostrils, albeit a bit smaller from the first time the machine had used it against Kong. The great ape received flames to the face, causing him to let out an excruciating roar of pain. King Caesar ran up the back of the metal giant, clamping his jaws on the top of MechaGodzilla's head once more while Kong relentlessly swatted and fanned at his face.
Godzilla let out a groan as he seen his two allies desperately battling against his metal replica, this steel goliath seemed like it was all too powerful for the three of them to handle. The King of the Monsters didn't want to overload his spines again, he began to slowly rise back to his feet. Pain still wracking his body, Godzilla let out a growl of a mixture of pain and anger.
Kong had successfully managed to bat out all the flames that were covering up his face, right in time to see MechaGodzilla preparing to unload a slew of beams on him. Two red beams fired out of his arms, one came out from the mouth, and his eye beams were also fired towards the ape as well. Kong was quick to dive out of the way, all of the beams slamming hard into the mountain, generating a massive explosion.
MechaGodzilla's tail struck back, the blade at the end stabbing right into the upper back of King Caesar, the guardian of the Jayanti River let out a howl of agony before being hurled off and into the ground again. The steel goliath turned around, firing towards Godzilla with the orange bolt out of the shutters on his neck, Godzilla shrieked out in pain, collapsing to the ground once again.
Kong rushed towards MechaGodzilla only to be shot down by a barrage of finger missiles, he pounded the ground with one fist before rolling over onto his stomach. King Caesar got up to his feet just to get kicked in the side like a giant soccer ball, sending him rolling onto his stomach. Rage grew within the guardian of the Jayanti River, and he let out a roar of fury, lunging up towards MechaGodzilla in defiance only to be caught. His arms grabbed by MechaGodzilla's iron grip, his hind legs kicking around as the tail of his metal enemy swung around, the blade going right through his body..
King Caesar's jaws hung wide open as he let out a roar of agonizing, excruciating agony after the blade penetrated his flesh. Puncturing a lung, and another vital organ on the way out. MechaGodzilla was a machine without care, he turned around, and turned attention towards Kong.
Godzilla let out a worried groan as King Caesar weakly crawled towards him, the guardian of the Jayanti River couldn't breathe, each time he tried, what came out was a wheeze and a spurt of blood. His tongue began to feel swollen as he got closer to the downed King of the Monsters, his hearing started to become blurry, his body began to fail him slowly as he climbed on top of the downed Godzilla.
Godzilla couldn't believe what he was experiencing and seeing, King Caesar groaned as he began to transfer his life's energy onto the King of the Monsters. His eyes began to narrow, the guardian monster bowing his head as if he was saying "It was an honor to die by your side, my king.." before going limp, the King of the Monsters groaned, and his eyes began to tear up.
MechaGodzilla began to unload his finger missiles, toe missiles, and knee missiles onto Kong. Each large missiles slamming into his body over and over again, turning the ape into a blood sprinkler. Crimson liquid spraying out of every hole that the missiles punched into the great simian beast, Kong roared in agony as he was repeatedly nailed by them over and over again until the steel goliath stopped.
His matted brown fur had turned into a darker shade of brown thanks to the visible blood soaking his torso, and parts of his arms. He began to breathe heavily as his eyes looked weak, his legs were shaky due to the consistent punishment that he was taking to try and buy Godzilla some time.
Kong looked past MechaGodzilla and reached an arm out towards the Big G with a weak, defeated look on his simian face. Godzilla noticed this, giving his fellow king a nod before the mechanical giant unleashed his eye beams directly into the ape's chest, a massive amount of blood splattered off of the open wound, causing Kong to fall back into the crater, out of sight.
The skies darkened even more when Kong collapsed, and a great roar of thunder was heard from the Heavens..
Godzilla rose to his feet, his dorsal spines flashing a white glow after he received King Caesar's radiation, they did the same thing when Mothra healed up Godzilla, only Mothra could heal her friend when she was alive, every other titan had to be dead and embracing an ally in some sort of way in order to transfer their energy.
Godzilla growled furiously at MechaGodzilla, the large wound on his torso had regenerated into a scar that would be permanent. The mech turned around slowly, his soulless eyes staring back at his real counterpart.
MechaGodzilla slammed one foot on the ground, and the Big G knew the EMP blast was coming. Godzilla braced himself as the large blue wave rushed towards him and drove him back, his heels tracking dirt. The King of the Monsters fired back with a blast of his own, the atomic pulse, it nailed MechaGodzilla!
MechaGodzilla let out a shriek, he was damaged, but it wasn't enough. Godzilla let out an angered roar at his metallic replica, charging towards him with everything he had. The steel goliath fired a red ray from his mouth, it slammed hard into the Big G, but Godzilla continued to charge through it like it was nothing, his eyes glaring at MechaGodzilla, full of hate, his teeth viciously being bared in a vile snarl.
MechaGodzilla fired two more red rays from the apparatuses on his hands, they both connected with Godzilla's lower torso at the same time. It caused the Big G some pain, but he let out a defiant roar. He wasn't going to let this steel impostor destroy his world, he did his trucking maneuver once more, effortlessly knocking MechaGodzilla off of his feet!
Godzilla loomed over his replica, only for MechaGodzilla to fire his eye beams right into the chest of his foe. Godzilla let out a grunt of pain, reeling back and letting out a growl of pure rage. The steel goliath rolled over, slashing at Godzilla's head with the blade at the end of his tail, it connected, a small cut was formed on the Big G's snout.
Godzilla growled out in anger again, more rage was felt than pain as he grabbed hold of the starting point of MechaGodzilla's tail, hooking his other arm at the end of it. He spun around while also lifting his metallic replica off the ground, slamming him into the ground by his tail with a massive boom. MechaGodzilla's cameras flashed fuzz for a moment, Godzilla wasn't through, he lifted up MechaGodzilla again, slamming him onto the ground once more on the other side, now MechaGodzilla's eye cameras were cracked!
Godzilla loomed over the mechanized giant, firing his atomic breath down towards him. This atomic ray seemed to have a white glow to it, with white spirals encircling the blue beam rapidly, the beam was also wider in diameter. This new beam was known as the spiral heat ray, and it was used in the beam struggle against The Gryphon in the previous year.
The beam generated a loud sparking explosion from the body of MechaGodzilla, forcing a loud mechanical shriek to emit from within the massive machine. The King of the Monsters was starting to deal some damage to his metallic replica, and major damage too!
MechaGodzilla slowly got back to his feet, Godzilla stomped his way towards the steel goliath. His spines continued to flash white, MechaGodzilla flew towards Godzilla, trying to knock him over, but the Big G caught him, stopping his mechanical impostor in his tracks.
Godzilla clamped his powerful jaws around the neck of MechaGodzilla, grabbing his steel spines, then effortlessly tossing him aside, sending the machine flying.
The systems within MechaGodzilla seemed to be glitching out, his head starting to vibrate, this was not good for the ultimate weapon of the black hole aliens. Sparks began to flash out from the head of the steel goliath, a smirk appeared to grow on Godzilla's face, it was about time that he began to put pressure on his steel replica..
Suddenly, MechaGodzilla opened fire with his eye beams, the multi-colored ray slamming hard into the gills of Godzilla, his weak point!
Godzilla let out a choked roar of pain and staggered back, giving enough time for MechaGodzilla to rise up to his feet, firing a large red beam from his mouth, the beam slamming into Godzilla's gills once more, knocking him down due to the immense pain.
The King of the Monsters began to get up as MechaGodzilla flew towards him again, it was time to finish things here. Godzilla lunged into MechaGodzilla, snapping his jaws shut around the snout of his mechanical enemy. Godzilla wasn't ready for the desto-fire..
MechaGodzilla unleashed the stream of fire into Godzilla's throat, much similar to how Godzilla used his "kiss of death" against the FeMUTO in 2014, except his body was much more durable. Godzilla let out a high pitched cry of agony and began to fall back from the pain only for his thick neck to be snagged into the grasp of MechaGodzilla.
His flashing blue spines began to turn into a glowing blue color, preparing for the atomic pulse until something happened. The King of the Monsters felt something penetrate into the tough hide of his gills, and then an agonizing pain overwhelmed him. His spines instantly lost their white glow, reduced to their normal glowing blue color.
MechaGodzilla was draining the radiation out from his enemy, slowly killing Godzilla to gain energy. Godzilla thrashed and kicked around in the grasp of his metal foe, but he had an iron grip on his neck, Godzilla forced an atomic pulse out from his body, albeit a weaker version of it. It stunned MechaGodzilla for but a moment, but then he latched onto Godzilla's gills again, this time latching onto his torso with the other mechanical arm. Godzilla cried out in agony once more as he felt the life being drained from him just like last year..
There was a blinding flash of light that filled the entire area of the battlefield, followed almost immediately by a deafening clap of thunder that shook the island, even Godzilla and MechaGodzilla felt it. As the light faded, it was revealed that multiple concentrated bolts of lightning struck down the center of the cloud rings, striking something within a nearby crater.
Godzilla cried out in pain as MechaGodzilla forced him into the ground, he had tried to get up. Nearby, the guardian of what was once called Skull Island, balled his hands into fists, blue energy bolts crackling out from between his curled fingers..
Godzilla's spines began to lose their blue flashes, slowly but surely returning to a normal dark coloring. The blue glow in his eyes started to revert back to their normal amber coloring, Godzilla let out a cry of pain again as more and more radiation was drained from him by MechaGodzilla.
Godzilla's eyes began to narrow, his vision going blurry and then back to normal. He began to feel lightheaded, his hearing going in and out.
Then, he began to see a light. No, Godzilla wasn't dying. As his vision faded back to normal, he could see the silhouette of a gigantic ape in the distance.
Kong's eyes were glowing blue, tiny bolts of lightning trailing from them. His tightly clenched fists sparking and crackling multiple bolts, staring a B-line straight towards MechaGodzilla.
MechaGodzilla reverted his attention to the great ape, who had let out a deafening roar as loud and powerful as thunder. When Kong roared, lightning crackled and shot around in the skies with a loud roar of rumbling thunder eventually exploding into a massive boom of thunder, the ape then pounded his chest, with each fist that connected with his pectorals, loud explosive booms sounded off, the impacts of his fists against his chest causing visible shock waves!
MechaGodzilla charged at Kong, firing his eye beams. The ape lunged off the ground, hurdling over the ray. Swinging his right hand into the side of the steel goliath's head, creating a minor dent with a sound of thunder echoing in the clouds.
The mechanical giant stumbled to the side, firing his orange bolt from the apparatus on his neck. Kong swayed his body to the side, slipping away from the bolt before charging in on MechaGodzilla, delivering a jumping superman punch, another crashing boom of thunder roared across the skies above Monster Island.
MechaGodzilla was rocked by the supercharged superman punch, knocking him onto his back. Kong approached, the tail of the steel goliath struck up at the ape only for it to be snagged in the grasp of his hand crackling with electricity.
Kong stomped onto the tail hard, and began to viciously tug at it with his hands, letting out a furious roar as he violently torn off the end of it, removing the destructive blade that killed King Caesar. As a matter of fact, upon removing half of the tail, Kong took a glance over at his fallen fellow titan.
Seeing the dead King Caesar infuriated Kong, causing him to let out a vicious howling roar into the skies that caused a wicked display of lightning with a symphony of crashing thunder in the sky. Godzilla seen what the big ape was doing, he hadn't seen Kong do this ever in his life, even though he used it against Godzilla in 2020, the Big G was mind controlled at the time, so he wouldn't remember it after the mind control device had been removed.
Kong used the dislodged tail of MechaGodzilla to viciously whip the steel goliath with no remorse, large sparks flew off of him with loud bangs. The machine rose started to rise back up to his feet only to be nailed in the side of the head by a left hook from Kong, putting another dent into his head. MechaGodzilla was knocked to the ground hard for a third time by Kong!
MechaGodzilla appeared to be glitching out again, severe damage was being dealt. Kong wrapped the long piece of the tail around his right hand, the blade sticking out between his fingers. MechaGodzilla was slow to get up, but the great ape waited for the steel beast to finally get back to a vertical base.
MechaGodzilla rushed towards the mighty ape only to be stopped when his own tail blade punctured into his body, an absolute huge amount of sparks exploded out from within the body of the steel goliath, the stolen radiation blew in the wind from the massive thunderstorm in which was still going on, back to Godzilla.
The skin of Godzilla began to absorb all of the radiation, the blue glow was slowly but surely restored back to his dorsal spines. MechaGodzilla was starting to get desperate now, his cameras scanning for a means to escape back to the hangar in which had been destroyed last night by the Skull Squadron.
MechaGodzilla's computer decided it was time to flee, he was critically damaged, too destroyed to continue the fight. The rockets on the bottom of his feet fired up, slowly launching himself into the air, but Kong squatted down and shot himself into the air like a torpedo to meet MechaGodzilla, they weren't extremely high in the air, but they got some hangtime in for sure.
Kong outstretched his arms to maximum length and let out a roar as he brought them together as hard as his supercharged body could allow him to, as his simian hands slammed together, a blue circular bolt burst, firing right into MechaGodzilla's head, crumpling it up, mangling the head. This attack is known as the thunderclap spike. Kong had clapped his sparking electrical hands together so hard that the bolts created a circular bolt, from within the circular bolt, another bolt launched through it with a shape similar to a spike.
Now that his head was mangled up and nothing but a crumpled mess, the camera eyes of MechaGodzilla had stopped functioning entirely. His head twitched, several sparks crackled out from a couple of holes in the mangled head, leaving the steel beast essentially crippled. No more eye beams, the big red beam from the mouth, and the blade in which punctured through his body damaged the mechanics in which would allow him to fire the other two red beams from his hands, the only thing that could still function somewhat well was the missiles lodged in his fingers, knees, and toes, everything else was practically destroyed beyond repair.
Kong ran up behind MechaGodzilla and delivered a huge right hook with all of his power, a mighty roar echoing from within him as a huge electrical pulse burst forth from his fist upon connecting to the back of MechaGodzilla's shattered head, knocking him forward and onto his stomach. Kong glanced over at Godzilla, the King of the Monsters had gotten back to his feet at this point, it was time to end the fight for good, it was time to destroy MechaGodzilla.
Godzilla began to charge up his atomic breath once more, his blue spines flashing, the mechanical hum intensifying to a maximum point, the humming turning into pulsating booms. A teal glow began to emit from within Godzilla's gills.
Kong delivered a kick to the side of MechaGodzilla so the impostor was on the back now, the mighty ape dug his hands into the hole he had put into the steel goliath with the blade of the severed tail. Using his strength, he torn the hole open much wider now, exposing the wiring and mechanics within. A couple fires had broken out within MechaGodzilla as well, at this point, the whole machine had shut down, stopped moving completely.
Kong wrapped the severed tail around the neck of the steel goliath, starting to spin around with the tail still wrapped. The supercharged ability allowed the ape to raise the machine into the air as he spun around more and more, eventually leaning back on his heels before releasing MechaGodzilla. The steel goliath went soaring high into the air, Godzilla turned his head up, and fired a spiral heat ray up after MechaGodzilla. The atomic beam going right into the hole in which had been opened up by Kong, vaporizing the mechanics within the massive machine, and causing MechaGodzilla to explode over the ocean!
As the smoldering, smoking remains began to slowly fall down into the waves, never to be seen again, Godzilla and Kong looked over at one another. The thunderstorm began to subside as Kong's heart rate began to slow down now that the battle was all over. The electrical sparks around his eyes and fists faded away, the two titans letting out mighty roars into the Heavens above.
After roaring triumphantly in victory the two headed over to the corpse of their fallen friend and ally, King Caesar. Godzilla seemed to get emotional as tears welled up in his eyes, baring his teeth, groaning softly in a monstrous sound of sorrow. A few tears leaked out from his eyes, Kong looked over at the King of the Monsters and sighed deeply. Kong had never seen Godzilla shed tears in the time he had known him as an ally, the Big G glanced over at Kong with a defeated look.
Godzilla had known King Caesar for a long time, granted they hadn't teamed up in several thousand years. He wasn't an ally he would fall back on much like Mothra, or at one point in time, Rodan. As a matter of fact, King Caesar would close to the bottom of the list of Godzilla's many allies, but nevertheless, losing a close ally still hurt his heart. He nodded his head towards Kong, even though the King of the Monsters understood that even the titans had their place in the natural cycle, the circle of life, but he wouldn't see large worms eat at his fallen friend's body, or have scavengers of Monster Island come to pick the bones.
Godzilla faced the sea, deciding burying King Caesar at sea was the best option as a respectful send off, Kong nodded his head and scooped King Caesar up into the bridal carry. Carrying King Caesar out into waist deep water, considering Kong's height of 360 feet, it was pretty deep waters. Kong nodded his head in respect, laying the fallen Earth defender into the water. Kong rose out of the water and let out a roar of respect, and so did Godzilla as he stood on the shores of the island, rays of light breaking in through the stormy clouds as the Earth had been saved once again...

The battle on Monster Island had gone undocumented, unreported on news outlets across the world. Leading to speculation that MechaGodzilla had been defeated, following a survey mission to certain outposts and locations in which MechaGodzilla was seen, ruins of some sort of giant machine had been found within the waters just outside of the island. A massive alien symbol had been seen on one of the charred chunks, confirming that the ultimate weapon of the Black Hole Aliens had failed them.
"Hey Laura, did you hear the news?" Kenny asked as he entered her room within the barracks wing, Laura was relaxing on her bed, watching television.
"Yeah yeah, MechaGodzilla has been destroyed." She answered with a playful giggle, but Kenny had some other news.
"Nah, you got it twisted. During the survey job of finding MechaGodzilla or any signs of him, Monarch discovered a massive radiation amount within the ocean. I've pinpointed the coordinates on a map, they take me to the Marianas Trench." Kenny replied, Laura raised an eyebrow, turning her head towards her partner.
"Is there any titan we've discovered in that area?" She asked, Kenny shook his head.
"I mean, we've found several ocean dwelling titans in the past, but we've never found one over the Marianas Trench." Kenny said.
"How high is the radiation?" Laura asked, getting very curious on this new radiation signature in which Monarch had found.
"You'll be shocked, it is several times higher than Godzilla's, twice the amount of Ghidorah's radiation signature as well.."
Meanwhile at the Earth's Rightful Rulers Headquarters within Alaska, the phone began to ring at Alan Jonah's front desk.
The cold leader of the ERR picked up the phone to see who was calling, the person calling seemed to be one of a Monarch employee, as it had the sideways hourglass logo on the small screen of the phone. The phone number didn't match that of Monarch employee, any phone number belonging to any Monarch employee usually started with (1954) and then other numbers, but this phone number didn't have the (1954) at the start.
Jonah reluctantly answered the call.
"Hello?" He asked, the voice that answered had a strong Japanese accent to the voice much like that of Dr. Serizawa, but the voice seemed to belong to a slightly older person.
"Hello there, Alan Jonah." The strange Japanese voice answered.
"Who are you?" Jonah asked, sounding confused.
"Dr. Mafune, I used to belong with Monarch. Ever since I retired, I've been working on a brand new device to properly control the titans. I happened to steal some blueprints from Dr. Emma Russel's ORCA, and now I hold a new device of my own. I believe we can control a titan that lurks out there in the Pacific Ocean, perhaps we can make it a pet of ours, if you will." The man said, revealing his name.
"What titan?" Jonah asked, the man was then heard laughing.
"Titanosaurus.." Dr. Mafune answered, ready to work with Earth's Rightful Rulers at last...

A/N: Well, ladies and gentlemen who have been reading this story series up to this point, that was the first part of the two part ending saga of MechaGodzilla in this 1st phase of the Custom Monsterverse. Man.. My brain is kinda fried after this final battle, it is the longest final battle I have written ever since my Godzilla vs Kong story back in 2017!
