A.N.: I recently discovered the "game" AI Dungeon. From the Wikipedia article: "AI Dungeon is a free-to-play single-player and multiplayer text adventure game which uses artificial intelligence to generate unlimited content". It is available online. There are some pre-defined scenarios, but you also can start with a custom prompt, which I have done for this story. The very first paragraph below is the prompt that I used. I usually did the "Story" entry, which is why you cannot actually see which parts of the story were generated by the AI and which parts I wrote. I am quite impressed by the AI; the product is nothing great, but more than I expected.

You are Aegnor Targaryen, a member of the royal family of the Seven Kingdoms. You are seventeen years old. Your father was the Mad King Aerys Targaryen. Aerys was overthrown by a rebellion led by his eldest son Rhaegar Targaryen, who is your elder brother. You helped Rhaegar overthrow your father and now your brother Rhaegar is king. You and Rhaegar are close. Rhaegar usually listens to your advice. You are currently performing a secret ritual to get a dragon egg to hatch.

The ritual will take place in three days time at the Summerhall in Dorna's Rest. The Summerhall is a small house on an island off the coast of Dorne called Summerhall. You prepare the ritual to the best of your ability. You have the help of your loyal retainers and servants.
Finally, the day of the ritual arrives. You arm yourself with a priceless Valyrian Steel dagger and collect the dragon egg. You take it to the ritual room. The egg is average sized for a dragon egg, and glows a soft yellow. The glow is brighter when you touch it with your bare hands. In the middle of the ritual room a fire roars. Fire is instrumental to hatching a dragon egg, you are certain.

You are alone in the ritual room. You do not want anyone to see you try to hatch a dragon egg. It is a secret ritual after all. You take the dragon egg and place it gently into the flames. It shines a bit brighter. You start the incantation in ancient Valyrian. You concentrate and make no mistakes. You begin to sweat as the heat from the fire increases. Right at the climax of your incantation, you slice into your palm with your valyrian steel dagger. You let a few drops of blood drop onto the dragon egg. "Fire and Blood," you mutter your House's words.

Suddenly, you hear a pop and a rush of air escapes from the egg. The entire ritual room is filled with a bright light that blinds you. You close your eyes and feel the heat increasing. Air currents swirl all around you. You open your eyes and stumble backwards, only to see a giant lizards' head where there was once an egg. It is breathing flames all around you!
You expect to be burned to cinders, but miraculously, the flames do not harm you. You are blood of the dragon, and flames can never harm you! The lizard's head is replaced by a giant lizard's body. It is so large that it has trouble fitting in the room! The dragon looks at you with curious eyes. You are elated. You have done it! You have hatched a dragon!

No one has seen dragons since the days of the Dance! Now you have one all to yourself! You stare at the dragon in wonder. It stares back. You realize that you must name it, but you are drawing a blank. "Hello dear," you say softly. You decide to name it later. First, you must make the dragon your friend.

You reach slowly for a piece of meat. Dragons eat meat, do they not? You are about to find out. The dragon sniffs the air and sees the meat in your hand. It licks its chops and sticks its forked tongue out at you. It looks hungry. You hold the piece of meat out to the dragon. It eats it hungrily. You continue to feed it until the entire cow is gone. The dragon belches loudly, but looks at you expectantly. "That should be enough for now," you explain. You will feed the dragon again later. Luckily, there are a lot of cows and other farm animals that you own.

You decide to name the dragon Seasmoke, because it is grey and smokes from its nostrils when it is feeding. You pat it and scratch its chin. It seems to like attention. You will have to train it, of course. The question is, how? That is a problem for another day. For now, you call your most loyal retainers into the room. All should see your glorious dragon! Two members of the kingsguard enter the room along with several servants. They can barely believe their eyes when they see Seasmoke!

"By the gods, it is a dragon! You have done it, my prince!" one of the Kingsguard, Ser Barristan Selmy, says. You are very pleased and scratch your dragon around its eyeridges. Seasmoke seems to enjoy that very much. "I want this kept a close guarded secret until I have trained with Seasmoke," you say. "No one can know about this. Not my brother. Not my sister. No one." "Of course," everyone agrees.

You have their full loyalty. You are not yet sure what you will do with a great dragon like Seasmoke by your side. You are loyal to the king, your brother Rhaegar. But what will happen when Rhaegar finds out that you have done this? What if he wants to take away your dragon? You cannot let that happen. For now, you must bide your time and keep a low profile while you train with the dragon.

You lead Seasmoke to the Dragon Roost, a place you have specifically prepared to be the best home for a dragon. You hope Seasmoke likes it. You order your servants to always have raw meat ready in case the dragon gets hungry. You will train it to hunt other animals soon. For now, you want it to get used to its new home. The servants leave.

It is just you and the dragon now. You try communicating with Seasmoke. How intelligent is the dragon? Can it understand you? You decide to find out by trying to talk to it. "Do you like your home, Seasmoke?" The dragon looks at you. Then, it stretches out its wings and lets out a puff of smoke. You are not sure, but you get the impression that Seasmoke likes it.

It occurs to you that you have no idea whether Seasmoke is male or female. Do dragons even have traditional genders? You decide to just ask. "Are you male or female, Seasmoke?" The dragon looks at you. Then, it does something very strange: it smiles. The dragon has a toothy grin. It is hard to believe, but the dragon seems happy. Then, the dragon farts. The smell is terrible. You decide that Seasmoke must be male. You do not think a female would act so ... undignified.

The sun is setting. It is time to retire to bed. You wave to Seasmoke and climb up the ladder. You hope that you will dream about your dragon. Perhaps in your dreams, you can truly speak to Seasmoke.

The next morning, you feel a light tapping on your shoulder. You turn around and see the servant with a tray of food. You look at the tray. Boiled chicken, bread, and a glass of wine. The food looks appetizing. You are hungry. The servant sets the tray on your lap and leaves. You eat quickly, and the decide to check up on Seasmoke.

You walk the short way to the Dragon Roost, where Seasmoke seems happy to see you. The dragon is growing quickly. It is already longer than 30 feet! You hope you can get it out of this bunker soon. After interacting with the dragon, you have an idea. You decide to try speaking Valyrian, as that is the language the ancient dragons of the past would have spoken.

You try hard to pronounce each word correctly. Unfortunately, Seasmoke seems to understand just as much Valyrian as he understands the common tongue. You have the impression that Seasmoke understands most of what you say, but cannot speak himself. Maybe dragons only grow to speak the language of those around them as they grow up? But Seasmoke was hatched from an egg, so he should not be speaking common... for all you know, he is speaking a dragon language that you are completely clueless about.

You and Seasmoke have a good time. You try to do an impression of Rhaegar, but quickly realize that even if the dragon can understand you, it probably does not know who Rhaegar is. You call for another cow to feed to Seasmoke. You have had the servants dragging the cows into the bunker for the dragon to eat. Thankfully, it does not take that much to feed Seasmoke.

You then decide to take Seasmoke out of the bunker. You need to give him some sunlight and fresh air. You get the servants to open the bunker and Seasmoke follows you. It seems he understood what you wanted! You walk out on the path that leads away from the bunker with Seasmoke following you. You take in the fresh air and the sunlight. It has been a while since you have experienced either one.

The path that lead to here soon becomes rocky and steep, so you pause for a moment to see if Seasmoke can climb it. To your surprise, the dragon seems to understand that you want him to climb up. He begins climbing the rocks with his powerful talons, scrabbling for purchase and finding it easily. "Great showing, Seasmoke!", you praise your dragon. You are proud of him.

When you reach the top of the rocks, you find that you can see the whole island from here. The bunker is near the center of it, with forests in many places and small villages dotting the coasts. "Can you fly already, Seasmoke?", you ask. Sure enough, the dragon seems to understand the question. He shakes his head quickly and prowls over to the edge of the cliff. He rears up on his hind legs and unfurls his wings, beating them down powerfully. He seems to want to take off right now, but you are not quite sure if he can do it yet. "Let us wait a few more days. In a few days, your wings will become stronger," you explain.

You are unsure if he understood you, but he lets his wings unfurl a few more times before putting them away and walking back over to you. You pat him on the head and go down to give him some food. You then try to teach him some important lessons. You do not think you need to teach him anything about fighting, as his dragon insticts will most likely do a good there. You teach him that it is allowed to feed on animals such as cows or sheep. He is not allowed to kill or eat humans, unless you give the order. Seasmoke may defend you, however. That is an exception to the rule.

A few days pass with more lessons. You are quite proud of Seasmoke, he is a fast learner. His understanding of the world around him grows by the day. You already feel that the two of you have bonded. It is time to see if Seasmoke can fly. You lead him to the top of the small hill of the island. Seasmoke seems eager to try flying now.

Your dragon crouches low to the ground and rears up on his hind legs again. He flaps his wings mightily, and you feel a surge of wind generated by his wings. He seems to be lifting off! He is hovering just a few feet above the ground. You are very proud of him. He tries again, and this time manages to leave the ground for a few seconds before landing once more. "You are doing great, Seasmoke!", you praise him.

He seems eager to try some more, so you let him. He tries multiple times, and by the end of it he is able to stay in the air for almost twenty seconds. After a few more days of flight training, Seasmoke can fly for several hours. Now, the time has come. You cannot call yourself a dragonrider if you do not ride your dragon!

Seasmoke seems to sense what you are planning and is excited about carrying you. He rears up on his hind legs expectantly. You climb onto his back, and he takes off immediately. He must be really excited as he has never been able to climb this high so rapidly before. You hang on tightly as he glides across the open skies. The view is incredible, and riding Seasmoke feels completely natural. You are not worried about falling at all!

You let out a cry of excitement as you and Seasmoke practice aerial maneuvers. You turn sharply, diving and ascending repeatedly. You roll to the left and right, and then perform loop-the-loops. The two of you have a great time, and Seasmoke's flying skills are much better than they were before. You are confident that he will be able to faithfully transport you anywhere in the future. There remains only one major question. Can your dragon breathe fire? You know that most of them can, and you have seen the few exceptions, the abnormally friendly dragons who lack the ability entirely.

It is your job to test him now. For this, you need a victim. Preferably a living one. You have your servants bring you a live cow. Seasmoke seems to understand what you want him to do. Lately, words have been almost unnecessary as Seasmoke seems to understand your will almost instinctually.

He crouches low to the ground once more and begins to flap his wings strongly. He lets out a blast of fire, but it goes... Upward? Yes, upward. The fire shoots up into the air, burning into the sky. "Well, you aim could be better," you tease him. Seasmoke lets out a disgruntled hiss, and tries again. This time the fire goes forward in a stream. It is still weak though, and only manages to set the cow's legs on fire. You have to give him credit though, he's certainly trying his best.

The cow moo's piteously as it runs around, desperately trying to get the flames out. You put the cow out of its misery and call for another one. A second cow is brought to you and Seasmoke sets to work on setting it alight. This time the fire goes out much quicker, and the cow collapses almost immediately. "Seems like the second time is the charm!" You are correct. "Good job, partner!", you praise Seasmoke.

You then train him to breathe fire on command. A third and fourth cow are consumed by your dragon's flames after you command him with the trigger word "Dracarys!". You deem the training complete and host a small feast for the occasion.

Only your most loyal friends and retainers attend. You sit with your dragon and the two of you enjoy the meal. You have certainly come a long way from when you first hatched him. Aemon's words to you echo in your mind... You truly are dragonrider now.

The next morning you receive a raven from King's Landing. Your brother, the king, summons you back to the capital. It appears that he wants you to choose a wife from amongst the high nobility. You are not certain how you feel about marriage. However, you had planned to return to King's Landing anyway. You will show the realm your dragon, and that you are a dragonrider like the Targaryens of old!

You, and your entourage, set off for King's Landing two days later. You decide to spend most of the journey flying with Seasmoke. You accept that some smallfolk will see the dragon. You do not intend to hide any longer. You are a Targaryen.

You also spend the journey reading up on the various noble ladies. You have never spent much time at court so most of their names are unknown to you. None of them hold any interest for you either. When King's Landing is less than a day's travel away, you decide to fly the rest of the way on Seasmoke. You inform your guards about your plan. They are not entirely happy with it, but you are their liege and they have no choice but to obey.

You and Seasmoke fly over the Goldroad. The Goldroad is one of the main two roads of the Seven Kingdoms. It starts at the Bay of Dragons in the east and leads all the way to the Sunset Sea in the west. King's Landing is located where the Goldroad intersects with the Kingsroad, which runs directly to the Iron Throne. The Goldroad is one of the busiest roads in the realm. Thousands of people travel along it every day. You are sure that you will be seen by hundreds of travelers.

You also use the opportunity to give Seasmoke some flying practice. You have trained him to react to certain commands such as "Up!" and "Dracarys!". Now you teach him "Above!", "Below!" and "Fly!". Soon King's Landing is in sight. Seen from above, the city is a huge mass of gray and black. Almost all the buildings are made of stone. The only ones that aren't are the wooden houses of the docklands. The entire city is surrounded by a wall, with several bulwarks and bastions built into it.

You can easily make out the glow of thousands of campfires in the fields around the city. The camps extend for several miles in every direction. There is no way any army could hide out there. You would easily spot them from the air. Any army big enough to pose a threat to the city would be seen long before it got anywhere near the walls. The Goldroad runs straight into the Kingsgate, the main gate of the city. You follow it to the Kingsgate and decide to directly fly to the Red Keep, the seat of the king.

Aemon once mentioned that the Red Keep is actually named such because it used to be painted red long ago. The entire Red Keep is built atop an elevation, so you have a clear view of the surrounding area as you descend towards the castle. You see the banks of the River Ravine and the markets extending towards the city walls. You circle thrice over the Red Keep, before landing in one of the inner courtyards.

The guards at the gate have already seen you and run to alert their superiors. Thousands of townspeople have surely seen your dragon already. An open appearance at the city square would simply be a formality. Soon, royal guardsmen arrive. You order them to open the gates and inform his grace that you have arrived. You observe how they react to Seasmoke. It is a mix of curiosity and fear.

Some of them probably have never seen a dragon before. Dragons died out centuries ago, so even the young ones among them only know about them from stories. Some are unable to keep their fear in check. You can sense their fear. You dismount from Seasmoke, as you have done this dance many times before. You are probably the only person in living memory who has ever ridden a dragon.

Soon enough, a group of nobles and royal advisors come to meet you. They are led by a tall man in flowing black robes. This is no doubt the royal septon, Lord Somethingorother. He takes one look at you and his face turns pale. He drops to his knees. You hear him utter some sort of prayer, to all the gods. The rest of men behind him are dressed in fine clothing, though none can match the splendor of their royal highness, King Rhaegar Targaryen.

The King has long silver hair and is wearing a crown of crimson gold, studded with black diamonds. By his side walks the Queen: a young woman with raven hair and kind eyes. You of course know your sister-in-law. The Queen is Lyanna Stark. You have not spoken much to her, but she seems to love your brother.

You decide to greet your brother Rhaegar. "Hail, brother. When I received you raven I made haste to return to King's Landing", you smile. You wonder how your brother will react to Seasmoke. "Brother! It is good to see you!" Rhaegar says, while embracing you. You know that Rhaegar is everything a knight should be: honorable, chivalrous and brave. Your brother is a great man and will no doubt make a good king.

You look at the faces of the people around you. Most are utterly gobsmacked by the sight of Seasmoke. Some ladies faint in fright. Others look at Seasmoke in awe. You notice that the Queen has barely taken her eyes off your dragon. You wonder what Rhaegar will say about Seasmoke.

"Brother, I see you have brought a dragon with you. That is... unusual", Rhaegar says with a wry smile. "Unusual? He's the only dragon in existence and he's with me!" You chuckle while looking at your brother. It seems his dry humor strikes again.

"Meet Seasmoke," you say to your brother while Seasmoke comes forward. The great beast sniffs your brother curiously. Rhaegar's eyes widen in surprise. You laugh at your brother's surprise.

"He is quite friendly, don't be afraid!", you call up to your brother who nervously pats Seasmoke's snout. Seasmoke lets out a puff of smoke around Rhaegar. It seems your dragon and your brother get along! "Is there a suitable place for my dragon to rest and feed? I do not remember if the keep has stables that are large enough", you adress the Kingsguard.

They nod and direct you to a nearby stable that was made larger when your arrived. The dragon is no doubt hungry after his long flight from the other end of the Seven Kingdoms. You pat him and tell him to go with the stable master, who feeds him large slices of raw cow meat and gives him a stall flooded with sunlight.

You return to the courtyard, where Rhaegar has ordered a feast for you. You meet again with your brother and his wife, who both look very happy to see you. You have a great time feasting and drinking. You wonder where your sister Daenerys is, and ask Rhaegar. He tells you that she is reading in her chambers, as she often does. You decide you should visit her.

You leave the feast and walk through the castle, up to the highest point: the towers of the First Men. There you find Daenerys, reading alone in her chamber. You open the door and see her reading a large leather-bound book with a huge black dragon etched onto the cover. She looks up from her book and smiles when she sees you. "Daenerys! It is lovely to see you", you exclaim. You move to hug her.

"Aegnor! You're back!", she says with surprise, but hugs you anyway. You enter the room and look at what she is reading. The book is filled with pages and pages of neat text. You make out some of the symbols and read the title: " dragons-the myths and tales of the beasts of air". You are intrigued.

"What are you reading about?", you ask her. You look at the book while she tries to find the page she was on. "Dragons, of course! They are fascinating creatures," she answers while turning pages.

You see various illustrations of dragons from a distance and read stories about them. It seems you can make her day by introducing her to Seasmoke. She loves dragons, you realize. You smile when you think about her face after seeing a real one for the first time. "Do you want to see something amazing?", you ask you sister.

She nods furiously. "Great, follow me," you say and the both of you leave her room and walk down to the stables. The master of horse stands and bows when he sees you. "Your highness, is there something I can get for you? How was the feast? The silver dragon arrived not long ago, and I assume you wish to see it", he says. You nod eagerly. "Yes, we want to see it".

The master of horse leads you to the stall with the silver dragon in it. You enter, and are amazed by how big Seasmoke has grown. The dragon sees you and lets out a puff of smoke. You laugh at its enthusiasm and scratch it behind the ears. You observe your sister's reaction to Seasmoke. You see her stand still for a moment in surprise, and then she smiles. "He's beautiful", she says. "How in the world did you manage to hatch a dragon, big brother?" Daenerys asks.

"It's a long story, and one we will have to discuss at length. But let's go back to your chambers and talk about it there," You first make sure that Seasmoke is comfortable and has all his needs met. After feeding and watering him you leave the dragon and return to your sister's chambers.

Once there, you tell her all about how you hatched Seasmoke and your first few months as a dragon rider. She seems fascinated by it all, and listens intently. When you finish, it is late at night. You promise to meet with her again tomorrow and retire to your princely chambers.

The next morning you are woken up by a knock on your door. You get up, get dressed and open the door. It's Arianne, the princess of Dorne. She is sixteen years old. She has dark red hair and green eyes. She is tall and slender. Arianne is also beautiful. You find her incredibly attractive. Arianne is ambitious, and has had a childhood infatuation towards you. No doubt she would like to be your consort.

"Good morning, my prince. My father and I wish to see you in the throne room, immediately," "Oh? What is this about?", you ask. "It is about the future of the kingdom. Please, just come to the throne room", Arianne says and then leaves. You wonder what House Martell wants to see you about. You decide to get dressed and go see them.

You meet up with Arianne and her father, Doran Martell, in the throne room. You remember your etiquette lessons and greet them courteously. "A pleasure to see you both. What may I do for you?" "First, please sit", Doran says in a calm voice. You sit on the heir's throne next to the Iron Throne and address them. You look around the room first. You see several members of the Kingsguard standing around and looking at you. You also see some of your personal guard standing around as well. They are the only ones in the room, besides Doran and Arianne, of course.

"Well, what can I do for you," you ask. "I'm sure you are wondering why I have called you here." "Not really. You want something from me. That is why you are here", you say. Doran chuckles a bit. "You are very perceptive.", he says. "I've been told that, but please get to the point", you say in a direct way. Doran nods.

"Very well then. You are aware that my daughter is the princess of Dorne, are you not?", he asks. "Of course I am", you say. "Okay. You are also aware that my daughter is a...devoted fan of yours." You look at Arianne, who looks down a bit. "I...believe I am aware of that", you say.

"A devoted fan...with some...uh...romantic feelings", Doran says. "Okay...I think I know where this is going. What does this have to do with me?" Doran smiles and laughs a bit. Arianne shoots him a dirty look. "Prince Aegnor, would you do Arianne the honor of marrying her?", Doran asks. You are silent for a moment.

"I am honored by your offer, Prince Doran. You understand, of course, that I must defer to my brother, the king in this matter.", you explain diplomatically. You are not sure if you want to marry Arianne. It is best to gain some time first. Doran nods. "Of course. I understand. Rhaegar is a good friend of mine. I'll speak with him personally.", he says.

"Thank you, Prince Doran. "I imagine that he will consult me as well.", you add. "Of course." "I will speak to him about this tomorrow.", you say. "Righ-ight, then. I'll take my leave.", Doran says and stands up. Arianne looks a bit sad and disappointed. You stand as well.

"Maybe you would like to accompany me, Princess Arianne? I plan on checking on Seasmoke.", you offer. Arianne stands tall, and looks a bit happier. "I would love to, Prince Aegnor." The two of you walk together towards the exit of the throne room. Of course you are followed by guards, both Kingsguard and Martell guards.

You decide to seek out your sister Daenerys first. You are sure that she will want so see Seasmoke as well. You find Daenerys in her room. She is reading a book. You know she does that a lot. She definitely takes after our mother that way. You are not sure if Arianne and Daenerys know each other, so you introduce them to each other. You think they will get along well. They have several things in common.

"Let us go.", you say to your sister. "I was just heading that way.", she says and stands up. You three walk through the Red Keep and towards the dragon yards. "There really is no need to introduce me to Daenerys. I know who she is.", Arianne says. "I wouldn't be so sure about that. For all you know she could have amnesia.", you respond by teasing your sister.

"Har, har. Very funny, brother. You are a very funny man. I am not easily amused, but I am somewhat amused by your jokes today.", she says. "Why thank you, dear sister." "You are a man of many words, aren't you, brother? Let us see how well you handle silence."

Daenerys says nothing the rest of the way to the dragon yards. You and Arianne exchange glances and small talk. Eventually you reach the dragon yard's fence. There are several guards, pitiful attempts at keeping people out. You are not sure why they even bother. Kids younger than ten easily scale the thing. You, Arianne, and Daenerys stand alongside the fence and look in. Seasmoke has just been fed and is happy to see you.

You enter the dragonpit and greet him with his favorite: eyeridge rubs. You can feel his curiosity about Arianne. "This is Arianne Martell. She is the only daughter of Prince Doran and Mellario of Dorne.", you explain while rubbing his snout ridge. Seasmoke hums, acknowledging that he now knows this information. "Oh, it is a pleasure to meet you, Dragon. I've heard so much about you. Everyone in Dorne has.", Arianne says while rubbing his eye ridge as well.

Afterwards, you, Arianne, and Daenerys all sit on some old tree stumps to talk. A servant runs up to you and tells you that the king, your brother, has summoned you to his study. You make your excuses to Daenerys and Arianne, and leave. You remember the way to your brother's study. Only one kingsguard accompanies you.

You knock on Rhaegar's study door. "Come in.", you hear Rhaegar yell. You enter. "Brother, what is it?", you ask. Rhaegar is sitting behind his desk, looking at a map of the world. He looks up at you. Rhaegar explains that he would like to see you married soon. He says that it would be best if you married a woman from another powerful family to secure those alliances.

"What do you think about the Lord of Horn Hill? His daughter Elia is beautiful, I've heard.", Rhaegar says. Rhaegar explains further: Another option is Margaery Tyrell, the daughter of Lord Tyrell, the Lord Paramount of the Reach. Margaery is a lovely young girl, and would definitely look good at your side. Rhaegar says that he trusts you will make the right decision, as he has full faith in your wisdom. The choice is up to you.

"Prince Doran of Dorne has also offered his daughter Arianne this morning,", you say. You wonder what your brother thinks of Arianne. "Ah, yes. Arianne. I've heard she is quite the beauty.", Rhaegar says. "Yes, she is."

"Well then, you can compare the two young ladies and see who you think would be a better choice." You suggest that Rhaegar summon Margaery Tyrell to the capital then. Or is she already here?

"She is here already. Her father is eager for the alliance, as it would secure his power. I shall send for her.", Rhaegar says. "In the meantime, you can compare the two and decide which you prefer." "Very well." You take your leave and head back to your chambers in the Red Keep.

You have some thoughts to ponder. You still are not sure that you want to marry in the near future. Still, you are a man grown, and the Iron Throne needs heirs, especially since Rhaegar himself has no children yet. You think that you could at least enjoy the company of women, even if you do not wish to marry soon. But who would you ask for?

The Dornish Princess Arianne or the Lady Margaery Tyrell from the Reach. You do not know either very well, and are not sure which one you would prefer. You decide to ask your sister Daenerys for advice. You head to the gardens to find her. There is a rose bush with red roses that you fancy. You see Daenerys standing under a tree. You call to her and tell her that you need her advice on something.

She is glad to help. "So what is troubling you, dearest brother?", Daenerys asks. You explain that you must pick among three young ladies to be your bride. You quickly add that you don't wish to marry soon, but that your brother does see the need for an alliance to be made. Daenerys looks at you and smiles. "You wish to marry for love, don't you?" "No, I just... I mean... What I mean is..."

"Do not choose a bride out of love. It never ends well. Look at our parents, they loathed each other but their arranged marriage worked because they put the realm first. They produced three children and the realm was safe. You should do the same." You ask your sister which of the three ladies she thinks would make a good bride.

"I don't know any of them personally, but the Dornishwoman will probably try to start a war within a few years. All Dornishwomen are like that. The Tarly girl is hardly any better; her family just hides it better. The Tyrell girl from the Reach is probably the least troublesome. Go with her. Though I'll say no more now, you must make this decision yourself. Just don't pick a woman that is too clever. They will try to control you. Now come, walk with me. I owe you a game of cyvasse. I finally mastered the Four Quickets of Canker. I am now ready to challenge you."

"Heh. I look forward to it." You spend the rest of the day with your sister. You then decide to ask another person for advice about your marriage choices. You choose your sister-in-law, the Queen. You spend the next few days speaking with Rhaegar's wife. She is very wise and tells you that she does not think you're ready to be married yet, but that you soon will have to make this choice. She does not have as much advice for you as your sister does.

You spend a few more days thinking about this. You come to a decision and realize that it must be announced to the realm. That is Rhaegar's job as the head of House Targaryen. As you sit in Rhaegar's study with your brother, he asks you if you have chosen a bride.

"I have.", you reply. "Oh? Is it the Princess of Dorne?" "No." "The Lady of Horn Hill, then? You've been seen visiting with her quite a bit." "No. I have chosen Margaery Tyrell", you tell your brother.

She is certainly beautiful and you think you get along best with her. Rhaegar seems satisfied with your choice. He tells the maester to send a raven to the Reach announcing your betrothal to the young lady. "Our mother would be proud of you, little brother."

Later that night you dream of ancient kings sending their dragons forth to set entire cities aflame. You are the last dragon, flying high above the destruction. Then you see the falling ashes transform into shining stars. One star in particular grows brighter and closer until you realize it is headed right towards you... You awaken to find a cold March wind blowing into your chambers. You look outside your window and see an ominous red sky. It seems like the end of the world...

You call upon Lady Margaery. You wish to tell her that you have chosen her to be your bride. She looks very happy when you tell her and hugs you. She says, "I will be a good wife to you and a good queen of the realm!" When you look into her eyes, you swear they glow like two suns.

You continue to train with Seasmoke. He is growing ever bigger. You think that one day he will rival Balerion the Black Dread for sheer size. You also continue to have strange dreams. Dreams of death and of things long dead coming back to life. You don't show these dreams to your brother, you know he worries about you enough as it is.

You spend the next few weeks training with Seasmoke. You regularly fly above the city of King's Landing and its surroundings. You hope that most people are now used to the sight of your large dragon. You spend an entire day flying and exploring the countryside. You have not journeyed outside the Red Keep for some weeks now.

As the sun begins to set, you decide to return to your chambers in the Red Keep. Seasmoke is behaving very well and is still growing larger. Soon, he will reach the size of the Black Dread! You continue to fly towards the Red Keep. Seasmoke lets out a mighty roar as you see the Red Keep coming into view.

You spend the next few days in the company of your betrothed, Margaery Tyrell. She continues to behave very affectionately towards you and makes sure to spend time with you. You find yourself drawn to her. It helps that you find her very attractive. Your brother Rhaegar seems pleased with your marriage to her, he says that your children will be very important to the realm.

More news arrives from the North. The Boltons have been defeated by the man known as the 'White Wolf'...Jon Snow, Eddard Stark's illegitimate son. He has managed to save the giant baby. He was reportedly saved by a local woman, although none of the warriors with him know her identity. She was killed in the battle.

You wonder at the fanciful tales coming from the North. A girl saves a baby and then dies? It seems very strange to you. Would you perish for the one you loved? Or would you live on, saving others from your fate? You do not know. You suppose you can only be sure if this really happens to you.

As the days pass, you feel like you are being watched. You do not know where this feeling comes from, as your guards are very tight and rarely do any citizens venture close to your quarters. Your dreams are also becoming rather strange. You swear you keep seeing the face of a dying girl...yet, you feel like you know her. You cannot explain it, but you do not like it.

Soon, your wedding day approaches. It is a very glorious feast. Lords from all over the Seven Kingdoms come to partake in your wedding. Your bride-to-be looks absolutely radiant as she walks down the aisle towards you. You look at your sister, wondering if she is pleased that you followed her advice. She looks at you and smiles. You turn to look at your betrothed. You cannot believe how gorgeous she is. She is truly a princess. You feel like the luckiest man in the world.
