The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

It's hard to separate the facts and fiction in his life, if he's being honest with himself (and he usually is). But the months, the years apart secretly wear him down like a river eroding a boulder.

"You told me once that in court, people have to swear to give the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth," Puck blurts out. "Sometimes that's hard. But here it is: I missed you."

Sabrina suspiciously searches his face for lies. "The whole truth?"

He grins. "And nothing but the truth."

"Okay," says Veronica, "who wants to explain why the car is crashed into the tree right now?"

Puck and Sabrina point at each other. Puck is doing his best to unlock his laser eye abilities (they're there, he knows they are), and Veronica's about to grab the truth serum when Puck opens his mouth.

"It was your idea," Puck snaps, gesturing at Sabrina's sprained ankle. " 'The store's not far, you can make it!' "

"I expected you to know that the brake pedal is on the left, not the right!"

"Your first mistake was expecting me to know left from right!"

"When you said pirates, I thought you meant real pirates," Puck grumbles to Daphne.

"Are these not real enough for you?"

Sabrina elbows Puck in the side. "Why would there be pirates in Anaheim, California of all places?"

"You think I know where Anaheim is? Where California is? As far as I know, there are pirates everywhere!" Unable to transform amidst so many people, he lets out a screechy parrot's squawk of annoyance.

"Legend has it there's actually a real human skull here," Daphne says.

"That's awesome," Puck says, wide eyed. "Forget what I said earlier, this is so sick."
