(Harry Potter's P.O.V.) -12 days later-
I yawned lightly as I got out of bed, stretching my arms and legs, smiling softly as I saw the sunrise approaching the window. It's amazing that I am on a island, Gryffindor's island no less, and it doesn't get old. I chuckled warmly as I grabbed my red sleeping robe over me, got my feet into Griffin-shaped slippers, walking from my master bed which was Godric's bed over a thousand years ago.
This talon wing belonged to Godric; a master bedroom/bathroom, a training/dueling room, a library of Transfiguration and History of Magic books. Next door is Helga's wing; a master bedroom/bathroom, a hospital chamber, a library of Herbology and Magical Care for Creatures books. Next to her is Salazar's wing; master bedroom/bathroom, a potions room, a library of Potions and Charms books. And finally, there's Rowena's wing; a master bedroom/bathroom, a ritual room, a library of Runes and Arithmancy books.
Up above the Founders' wings, on the second floor are various bedrooms and bathrooms, intended for family and friends which doesn't happen often since the grandkids of the Founders...
Every few days, I stay in a different wing, and it's pretty interesting, especially with the portraits of the Founders themselves. "Morning, Harry. Any dreams with your boy?". I looked over to see Godric smirking softly at me from his own portrait.
I couldn't imagine I missed him and the others in the Headmaster's quarters, but I was busy at the time...I chuckled, "Felt his excitement when I saw him flying his Cleansweep last week. I got to admit he got a decently good broom himself as he is a great player.".
Godric laughed softly, "I bet. This year is going to be interesting, eh?", his long red hair tussling among his shoulders, his grin wrinkling happily at the edges of his sideburns as his light green eyes glittered in amusement. His skin is tan, thanks to time under the sun, and his age looked to be in his 20s, even through he had died in his 70s.
I shook my head with a grin, and headed to the bathroom to do my routine, humming softly as I used my wand to bring out my chosen clothes for today. After some time in the bathroom, I headed out, fresh and clean in my clothes, calling out for Dobby.
"Dobby.", I called out softly. A familiar pop was heard, and before me is Dobby, dressed in a spiffy outfit of cream, red, and silver. "Morning, Great Master Harry! What can Dobby do for you?".
I chuckled lightly, "I am in the mood for the breakfast special.". Dobby blinked, "The Catty Sandwich?". I grinned with a laugh, glad that I decided to show my memories of cooking with Dobby even through it was at Durkaban.
"You really come up with names for the various meals, huh?", I replied warmly. Dobby smiled widely, "Great Master Harry deserves to eat the meals he cooked for the muggles!". I nodded, "Fair enough. I will be on my way down to the table once I grab a book for the day.".
Dobby nodded, and popped out of the bedroom, heading to the kitchen. In the front section of the building before the wings is the kitchen, dining room, living room, and the family library which is full of other magical books like Astronomy, Wand-crafting, Curse-breaking.
I made my way out of the bedroom, heading down the hallway, past the first door which is the training room, to the second door which is the library, and I opened the door, walking in as I smiled, seeing subtle colors of crimson and gold, making my way to one of the shelves, hearing Godric's voice again.
"Alexander the Great is a good book. I believe he was a halfblood.", Godric commented lightly. I grinned, "Thanks, Godric.", picking out the mentioned book before I glanced at Godric in a landscape portrait, and I then headed out of the library, heading down as Godric raced down across more landscape portraits to the dining room portrait which is big enough to have all the Founders in.
I then sat down upon Godric's strong yet old chair upon the round table, my breakfast order popping in front of me, and I called out, "Thank you, kitchen crew!". I then began to eat occasionally while talking with Godric and the other Founders.
Helga's appearance is in her late 20s yet she really died in her 70s. She has lovely tan skin, and to my surprise, she has freckles over her nose and cheeks. Her long waist-high dark brown hair is pinned up into a old-style hairdo, through she sometimes lets it go down, and her eyes, they are teal, a blue-green combination.
Salazar's appearance is in his early 30s through he died in his late 70s. He has pale skin, but not sickly pale like some people had said, and to my surprise, he actually has a goatee alongside his coal black hair. His eyes, they are dark brown, but when he does Parseltongue, his eyes lighten up to light brown.
And last but not least, Rowena's appearance is in her late 20s yet she died in her early 60s. She has strangely olive brown skin, yet it suited her bright blue eyes and her strawberry blonde hair. They're pretty awesome people, giving advice, laughter to the house altogether.
I was sure glad that I met them here after I inherited the island otherwise I wouldn't have known them, and I would have been blinded to the lies and myths people made about them. I have discovered so much that I had never realized before, and I knew Hermione would be really envious of this, but this is my home, the true place of my heritage and family.
I cannot wait to show the island to my soul mate, and I have a suspicion who that might be, but I realize that I will bond to him officially once I buy my stuff in Diagon Alley or on the traditional ride to Hogwarts. School is going to be quite interesting for sure.
