(No P.O.V.) -7 hours later-
Harry smiled lightly as he saw Hogwarts in the distance. Hermione tilted her head in curiosity, "Harry, what's going on with you?".
Harry shrugged softly, "I am home. That's all, Mione.". Hermione blinked lightly, "Oh, okay. You coming?". Harry nodded, "Be behind you in a minute. I just want a breather, that's all. The compartment was a bit cramped...". Hermione nodded, carrying Crookshanks in his new carrier.
Harry then called out softly, "Dobby.". Dobby popped out in view, "Yes, Great Master Harry?". Harry grinned softly, "Is everything ready, Dobby?". Dobby nodded vigorously, "Yes, Master Harry! All the flushing potion in kiddies' drinks.".
Harry nodded, "Brilliant. Do one last thing for me, Dobby. Flushing potions in Remus Lupin's drink. He's a werewolf, but I don't trust that old spinster as he may do something against my uncle tonight.". Dobby glowered angrily, "No one hurts Master Harry's family! Will do it, sire!".
Harry smirked softly, "And that's why you're one of my dear friends, Dobby. Tell the others to make sure everything is in place when I get there. Other teachers good?". Dobby nodded, "They've calming potions as they mad at Old Whiskers, very mad.". Harry chuckled lightly as he then felt his soulmate's curiosity, and looked up to see Cedric coming up to him.
Harry nodded, "Go, Dobby. I will check with you later on.". Dobby saluted with a smile, and popped away. Cedric hugged Harry warmly, "Alright there, Harry, love?".
Harry smiled, "Never better. Come on, we better hurry. I don't wanna miss the Feast again!". Cedric laughed softly, followed Harry to one of the carriages down from Hogsmeade Station, remembering the memories of the car incident last year.
Over the summer, Harry figured that some or most of the teachers is potioned by Dumbledore like he was, and he, luckily, using his house elves, has been using Goblin-made flushing potions to help these teachers including Snape. He had a feeling that Snape would be the worst as it doesn't make sense to keep a grudge for years when he would have made up with Harry's parents before he was born, not wanting to act like a angry, stupid brat.
Then there was the new memories of his soul-mate taking the inheritance test, and finding out that apart from being the future Lord Diggory and Lord Bates, he's also Lord Hufflepuff which was a bit of a shock, but being soul-bonded, the Goblins figured that important fact helped Cedric receive the mantle of Lord Hufflepuff.
Which means Cedric and Harry has 3/4 of Hogwarts, and with the help of time compression chambers at Gringotts, Cedric also took the time to learn how to cast the Patronus Charm, and how to be a Animagus. Much to Harry's joy, Cedric is now learning slowly to be a Cave Lion, which after comparing sizes of the ancient cats they are to shift fully into, they were glad that they are equal more or less.
And then there's the Pensive evidence of Harry's past adventures at Hogwarts, figuring that Dumbledore's behind them, and then there's the evidence of Sirius Black aka Padfoot and Pettigrew which Harry has already put to fruition.
Over the summer, with descriptions of Padfoot, Harry sent Dobby to find him, feed him properly with mind/body healing potions while on the way to Hogwarts, and flushing evil potions once a while in his tea as well, having a feeling that Sirius, his godfather had been potioned before and after Azakaban, thanks to Dumbledore.
And then there's the connection from Gryffindor Island to Hogwarts through the Room of Requirements aka the Come & Go Room, and arranging house elves in shifts to clean and organize the mess of stuff, and in conclusion, finding a Horcrux as well, destroying the soul while saving the Ravenclaw diadem. Harry is going to use that shortcut to his island home quite often.
So, in short, Harry and Cedric knew that this is just the beginning of their new lives, and perhaps changing some lives in the midst of it all as well. Yep, Hogwarts is going for a update, and perchance, the Wizarding World also.
