Chapter 23: Bubble Guppies Falling Apart (part 3)
Everything only goes from bad to worse. Goby, Deema, Oona and Nonny are separated and angry at each other. Molly and Gil tried to do something about it, but he was unsuccessful and she had been kidnapped by a mysterious guy. Without commenting on anything else, we will look at Molly. She began to open her eyes very slowly and noticed something that scared her. She noticed that she was in an abandoned place. Like a vault or something. Molly noticed that her hands were tied with chains from the wrists to the wall. Before she could say anything, she heard voices approaching.
"This is my favorite part of the plan"
"Although this part of the plan did not go as expected. It is satisfying. We are still making them suffer"
"(Those voices ... are very familiar to me ...)" Molly thought. The two figures approached Molly. She was surprised to see ... them again.
"Well, well, well, but look who we have here. Our old friend has already woken up"
"I hope it was a comforting nap"
"Jane! James! What does this all mean?" Molly asked, surprised.
"Finally our day arrived. Our revenge against you six. Against the Bubble Guppies" James said evilly.
"So is. You don't know what I expected for this day, brunette" Jane smirked.
"You two ... Jane hurt Gil a lot and James tried to hurt Goby and Deema ... Now what do you want?" Molly expressed bothered.
"We want revenge from you. You just screwed up our plans" James answered.
"We had to. Your plans involved hurting my friends. And that we could not allow" Molly justified.
"But now your friends can't do anything for you" James smirked.
"Oh yeah? My friends will come for me. I'm sure" Molly said that confidently. But that only made both of them laugh at her "What are you two laughing at?"
"That you're very naive, Molly. You think we don't take your friends into account. Should we tell her?" Jane said evilly.
"You will see. We take care of your friends. Goby, Deema, Oona, and Nonny are separated by their own doubts, insecurities, and mistrust. Things that the two of us provoke" James explained.
"No. My friends wouldn't be so naive to fall for that. We are friends for most of our lives" Molly refused to see that.
"The truth is usually cruel. And that's what happened. Now we kidnap you. You are their born leader, and you would have tried to resolve their differences, that is why you are here. Without you, the Bubble Guppies will dissolve" James added.
"You ... are crazy. But you forget something. You underestimate Gilly" Molly said.
"He? Hahaha….He will not be able to do anything alone. Without you and without others, he will be abandoned and will surrender. Everything is going as planned. And now ... comes my favorite part" Jane smiled at her evilly. She covered Molly's mouth with tape so she couldn't speak.
"Hmmmm Hmmm" Molly said scared.
"Jane, you can play with her" James said evilly.
"I'm going to enjoy it, as you can't imagine" Jane smirked evilly. Wasting no time, Jane beat up Molly. The brunette suffered a lot, but the tape did not let her scream. Jane was hitting her and Molly couldn't defend herself. Jane hit her so hard that she was weak and the chains only held her.
"Stop it, Jane!" James ordered.
"Why? I'm enjoying this" Jane asked angrily.
"We need her alive. Let her regain her strength. Then you can torture her again" The red-haired boy sentenced. She reluctantly left her.
"Hmmmm Hmmm" Molly said weakly.
"Sorry, Molly. I can't hear you ... You know? I should send ... a message to your lover" James smirked evilly. Molly was scared. No one would help her at that time.
While this was happening, Gil arrived at Molly's house a little worried. He knocked on the door but it was someone else who greeted him. It was Robert, Molly's father. Fortunately, they both got along better.
"Hello...Robert! Is Molly here?" Gil asked.
"Was she not with you?" Robert asked confused.
"Well...yeah...but she was going to find Deema and Oona. Hours have passed and Molly hasn't answered my calls and messages. I assumed that she would go home" Gil explained worriedly.
"Well ask them, right? I'll still be looking for her around here. If you know anything about her, let me know" Robert answered.
"Okay. I'll do it" Gil said determined.
"Be careful, boy" Molly´s dad said.
Wasting no more time, Gil went to Deema's house first. He knocked on the door and the blonde girl opened the door for him. As soon as she saw that it was Gil, he closed the door in his face.
"Hey, Deema! Open the door. I have to talk with you" Gil said.
"Get lost, I don't want to talk to you" Deema said rudely.
"It is important. Have you seen Molly?" Gil asked.
"Is she not with you? I thought you two were always together" She asked unwillingly.
"She and I wanted to be with all of you again. Molly wanted to spend time with you and Oona" Gil explained.
"Ugh Oona…..I don't want to know anything about her" Deema said annoyed.
"Hey ... what the hell is going on here! Goby and Nonny were also angry" Gil asked, more confused.
"I don't want to hear from them again. And you better go, Gil. BYE!" Deema slammed the door in his face.
"But...Deema…." It was useless. Obviously she didn't want to talk to him "(sigh) Hope Oona is more reasonable. She is a very peaceful person. I bet she'll be calmer"
Now in Oona´s house.
"Hi, Oona! Long time" Gil said happily.
"Oh...Hi, Gil. Something happens?" Oona answered very calmly. She didn't look annoyed with him.
"(She looks calmer than the others. More than Nonny, that's already worrying)" Gil thought "Oh yeah….Do you see Molly lately?"
"Hmmmm no. I have not seen her. Why do you ask?" Oona asked curiously.
"Okay this is worrying. Molly was going to find you and Deema. But if you haven't seen her, where's Molly? I'm afraid something bad happened to her" Gil explained very worried.
"Oh oh...That's bad!" Oona gasped.
"Something's wrong. Goby, Nonny and Deema are angry. Molly disappeared. This is not normal. Oona, do you know why others are upset?" Gil asked innocently. But she was silent "Euh...Oona?"
"Gil ... I want to help you with Molly ... but I don't want to know about the others. Something very bad happened between us" Oona said sadly.
"Oona, please. Perhaps that is the key to helping others. Tell me what happened?" Gil persuaded her.
"I don't feel comfortable talking about it. If I could help you more than that, I will gladly do it" Oona said.
"Oh…(sigh)...I understand….I'll tell you if I know anything about Molly. Thanks and see you" Gil left her.
Now Gil was alone. He had to find Molly without the other guppies. He searched the school, all the possible places, but found no trace of her. Robert told him that he had not found anything either, but the family would join the search. Unfortunately for Gil, he had to wait a few days if he wanted the police to start the search. A few days passed, the police would begin the investigation, but Gil was not calm. He was searching on his own. One day when he was coming home.
"(sigh) Another unsuccessful day. It would be easier if others helped me. God help me with this!" Gil said that to himself. At that moment, his cell phone started ringing. Gil hoped it was Molly or one of his friends who decided to help him. But something was wrong, it was an unknown number. But still, he decided to answer "Euh...Hello?"
"Listen carefully and follow my instructions, Gil Gordon. At the entrance of your house you will find a package. Open it only if you are alone. Don't try to play with me, I know everything about you. Just do it and don't hang up"
Gil was very scared. The voice was distorted and impossible to identify. But he decided to obey orders and searched outside his home. And he found a cardboard box sealed with tape. It had no inscription on the box. Gil took it and carried the box up to his room. He decided to open it and inside he got bad news. The contents of the box were several photographs. It was Molly, but she was chained, her mouth was taped up. She was bruised, bled slightly, and looked weak. She had few tears in her eyes. In addition to the photos, there was a bit of blood in the photos and she also saw that there were strands of pink hair inside the box. God, what did they do to Molly?!
"So is. Now you know. We have your beloved. And we don't mean to leave it like this"
"Not! Can not be! Molly! ... Alright ... What do you want? Money?" Gil asked annoyed.
"It's not all about money, my friend. I want to see you suffer. You are alone and there is nothing you can do about it"
"I don't know who you are but I'll find you and make you pay" Gil said angrily.
"Those are very rude words for a fragile boy like you. Watch your tone of voice, friend. Do you want the next package to have an ear or a finger from her?"
"Grrrr Don't you dare touch a hair of her!" Gil said.
"Well, you don't have many options. If you tell the police any of this ... Well ... I hope you look for a river. You may find your girlfriend's body lying there"
"I do not understand anything. What do you want?" Gil said desperate.
"I just want you to suffer for what you've done. Your friends left you. You are alone"
Saying that the subject ended the call. Gil was worried. His girlfriend had been kidnapped, his friends were separated for some reason he didn't know, and the search for Molly's whereabouts was inefficient. Gil only resigned himself to crying in his loneliness. Everything was against him in no time. Now who could he trust? For once in his life, he was completely alone.
A few days later and no sign of Molly. Gil continued his search without the help of the others. He already had the idea that they would not help him this time. But while doing research on his own, he decided to go to the coffee shop where he used to hang out before. He entered and took a seat waiting for the waiter.
"Hi, Gil! Long time no see. What do you want to order this time?" The waiter asked.
"Hmmm I want a ham and cheese sandwich and a black coffee" Gil said without paying attention to the waiter.
"Okay. I´ll bring your order" He said before leaving to prepare Gil's order. The blue-haired guppy was very quiet and thoughtful. He still didn't know what to do and that hurt. But, something unexpected happened. Another subject entered the scene and approached Gil.
"Hey, young man! Don't you mind if I sit with you?" It was difficult for Gil to tell. I just knew it was a big fish in a gray trench coat and a fedora hat of the same color.
"Oh...Don't worry. Take it" Gil answered, trying to be polite with him. Although he did not feel very well.
"Thanks!" The subject said. He noticed the young guppy's face. So he decided to start a conversation with him "Something has you worried, doesn't it?"
"Huh? It's nothing" Gil answered.
"Really? Nobody gets sad or thoughtful for no reason. Do you want to talk about it?" The man said kindly.
"And what do you know about me? You don't know me at all!" Gil said that angrily but hid his pain.
"On the contrary, Gil ... Of course I know you. You surprise me you didn't recognize me" Saying that, the subject took off his hat and his identity had been revealed to him. Gil couldn't believe it. He was shocked to see who he really was.
Wow, it was hard for me to continue with this. It seems that in total darkness, there is a small flash of light and I think Gil is passing that to him. Guess who it is? What will happen to Goby, Deema, Oona and Nonny? Will they save Molly? And James and Jane? You will find out in the next chapter of this beautiful fic.
One more note: I just got into college classes (all online obviously) but that will take time away so the remaining chapters and possible new stories will have to be a bit behind schedule. Possibly keep typing but updates would be less frequent. I just hope you understand and nothing but patience. I love you very much and see you in another chapter.
