Chapter 24: Bubble Guppies Falling Apart (part 4)

It was not possible. It was simply impossible. Gil couldn't believe it. That guy who was talking to him couldn't be him. It seems that he was a very important person to Gil in the past. You will already imagine who it is.

"Mr...Mr….Mr Grouper! Is really you?" Gil was shocked.

At that moment, he noticed Gil's silence "Euh...Gil?" Gil had already started crying and decided to hug his old teacher, his old friend.

"MR GROUPER!" Gil screamed as he sobbed into Mr. Grouper's shoulder. He just comforted him and let him release all his sadness "(snif) Sorry, Mr. Grouper"

"It's okay, Gil. Don´t worry" Mr. Grouper answered kindly. Like he usually was. It took a few minutes for Gil to calm down. So both could talk in a relaxed way.

"Nice to see you again, Gil. Your group was one of the best I've had in my teaching career" Mr Grouper said "Do you happen to know anything about the other guppies?" Gil decided to hide the recent problem from him for now.

"Well, we met again in high school. We became friends again, we started hanging out. We have had good and bad moments but always together. And we have even discovered love between us" Gil said that to him in a calm way.

"Oh really? And may I know what happened?" Mr. Grouper asked curiously.

"Euh….Molly and I fell in love with each other and formalized our relationship. The same thing happened between Goby and Deema. And the same with Oona and Nonny" Gil explained.

"Wow….I always had the slightest suspicion between you and Molly. You two always hung out together. The others did take me by surprise" Mr. Grouper admitted "But back to the subject that matters to me, why were you worried?" Gil was silent. It was time to tell him what was going on. After all, there was no one else left.

"Mr. Grouper…..The group is dissolved. Goby, Deema, Oona, and Nonny are mad at each other. I don't know what happened to them. Molly and I tried to fix things ... but it didn't work out. The worst thing is ... is ..." Gil already started to stutter. He wasn't sure if he should tell him what happened to Molly.

"Molly….(sigh)...She is kidnapped by a subject who hates me. He doesn't want money. He just wants to see me suffer and I don't know what to do anymore. I can't find Molly alone. Meanwhile, in the cellar where they had Molly. The pink-haired girl slowly opened her eyes again. She was worse than before. She had cuts on her body and was bleeding slightly. She had bruises on her skin and her hair was a mess. She only heard the conversation of her kidnappers.

"All right, we already have Molly for many days. And the others have already separated. We've done enough, haven't we?" One of James´s friends said.

"Something else is still missing. Gil!" James said.

"He is grieving for Molly's disappearance. We already made him suffer with this kidnapping" Jane commented.

"Well then what else is missing? I already did everything I wanted" James asked.

"Well…..What I want to do is still missing" Jane smirked evilly and showed them something scary.

"A GUN! Have you lost your mind !?" One of James´s friends asked shocked.

"What I want most and what remains to be done ... is to kill her!" She screamed evilly.

"Wait guys! This has already gone a long way. Separating the guppies is one thing ... but we are already kidnapping and now they think about killing. This is already completely illegal" One of the crabs said.

"It is too late to argue about morals. All of us are in this and there is no turning back" James commented.

"What? Don't you care if your crazy friend kills Molly?" The crab asked worriedly.

"I honestly don't care. I already did what I wanted with my revenge plan. It's Jane's turn to have fun and fulfill her ghoulish plans. I just ... I won't be involved in Molly's death" James answered with a cold heart. The crab didn't say anything.

"But….I will torture her more…..When I get bored with her ... I'll kill her" Jane laughed with madness.

"As you like. I won´t be involved in this murder" James said. But, one of them was worried and he would do something about it. Molly heard that and just cried hoping someone would come ... And soon!

Gil came to the park hoping that his friends would come to the call. Luckily, he saw Goby first, then Deema, Oona and Nonny arrived.

"I only came because you said it was urgent" Goby said that reluctantly.

"We too!" Deema, Oona and Nonny added. The four guppies glared at each other again.

"Oh….You are here too" Goby complained.

"Don't tell me Gil brought us all here" Deema added bothered.

"Apparently that happened" Nonny commented. Oona stayed quiet.

"Guys, listen to me! I called all of you so that you can tell me what happened and resolve your differences once and for all" Gil ordered with a serious look.

"I have nothing to explain. Less to them" Deema said. The rest started arguing each other.

"STOP! I don't care whose fault it is. We are lifelong friends by God! What happened to the good times we had?" Gil commented.

"Oh sure. Now you do care about us, don't you Gil?" Goby said angrily.

"Listen! Molly and I never wanted to put you aside. We get carried away by our relationship that we forget about you. And we want to apologize to you. Because you are the most important people to me and Molly" Gil explained. The rest were silent.

"Well we forgive you, Gil. But still I won't spare any of them" Oona said. The rest agreed with that.

"(sigh) Okay...I know you would not listen to me. But maybe you will listen to him" Gil said. At that moment, he appeared in front of the four guppies.

"Hehehe Good Morning, everyone!"

"It can't be!" Goby was shocked.

"Impossible!" Deema added.

"I can not believe it"" Oona said.

"Unlikely!" Nonny said.

"MR. GROUPER!" The four shouted and they hugged him. None of them knew what to say. Everyone was stunned.

"I missed you so much, my little guppies" Mr. Grouper hugged them "But...All of you are bigger than before hehehe"

"But can not be! What are you doing here, Mr. Grouper?" Deema asked.

"Well….Gil brought me here. I figured you guys needed a little help with your situation" Mr. Grouper answered. The rest were silent. They were no longer angry with each other. Now they were sorry for what they did. They didn't want to tell Mr. Grouper about their stupid argument "Guys, I've known you since you were little. You have always gotten along and it was very difficult for you to argue. Despite everything that happened, you guys always stuck together and supported each other. "Guys ... I'm so sorry. I let my bad emotions make me act wrong. I shouldn't have kissed Nonny. I was just jealous. Oona, I should have imagined that you wouldn't betray my trust. And Goby, I should have trusted you. You're the guy I want to be with and I don't want to lose you stupidly" Deema admitted sadly.

"I was partly to blame. I shouldn't have neglected my relationship with Deema. I should have made it clear to you that Oona and I are very close friends ... but it's almost a brother-sister relationship" Goby confessed.

"It 's okay. We are friends after all" Gil smiled at them "And...Thanks, Mr Grouper. I couldn't have done it without you"

"You´re welcome, Gil. But you shouldn't waste any more time. You have to tell them what's up" Mr. Grouper answered seriously.

"What's happening?" Deema asked confused.

"Guys…..Something very bad happened while you were in your trouble…" Gil's tone was very serious. He explained to everyone about Molly's kidnapping. The package, the call, the photos of her being tortured. Everyone was in shock about it. Now they felt worse.

"And why didn't you tell us about this? Molly is in grave danger!" Deema shouted dramatically.

"You weren't going to listen to me until we fixed your problem" Gil answered. The rest were quiet.

"That does not matter anymore. The important thing is that now we work together to save Molly" Mr. Grouper said sincerely. They all started coming up with ideas. Only one person said nothing. It was Nonny. He was thinking a lot.

"What are you thinking, Nonny?" Oona asked curiously.

"Gil….The kidnapper spoke to you. Are you sure he doesn't want money? That he only wanted to see you suffer?" Nonny asked. Gil just nodded "Just a moment! If it is a person who hates you ... I think I know who it is"

"And who is?" Gil asked quickly.

"...Jane" Nonny answered seriously. That name brought back horrible memories for Gil.

"Ja..Ja...Jane!" Gil was scared.

"It makes no sense what you say. It's a very complicated plan for her to do'' Oona intervene.

"Guys ... the person who did this doesn't just hate Gil. That person hates all of us. Everything starts to make sense. I was receiving unknown messages from someone who wanted to question my relationship with Oona days before Molly's abduction" Nonny started with his explanation.

"What are you trying to say, Nonners?" Deema asked more confused.

"And what if our entire discussion was caused by someone else? It is too much of a coincidence that everything has been very convenient. Obviously someone planned everything and I doubt it's Jane. That person hates Bubble Guppies" Nonny answered.

"But who hates us? And who would come up with such a complicated plan to ... separate us? Oh oh ... I know who it was ... James. Everything was so calculated, it has to be him" Goby said with some anger.

"So ... James and Jane work together?" Oona asked worried.

"Possibly" Nonny sentenced.

"And now what will we do? We only have suspicions. We don't know where they have Molly ... assuming they have her" Gil asked.

"We can´t! If we do this, Molly will die! We need more information" Gil commented.
