Chapter 25: Bubble Guppies Falling Apart (part 5)
""Maybe….I can help you with it" A mysterious voice was heard. The five guppies and Mr. Grouper saw the source of the voice.
"Wait a minute!...You! You are one of James´s friends!" Goby said angrily. It was one of the crabs. The five guppies looked at him in disgust. Mr. Grouper just watched.
"What are you doing here?" Deema asked.
"Listen to me! I know where they have Molly. I can tell you everything you need to save her" The crab said.
"Do you think we are fools? It is obvious that it is a trap prepared by him" Goby commented.
"And besides, why are you helping us?" Oona asked confused.
"Look, it's not a trap. If Jane or James find out about this, I'll be dead. If I tell you this it is because I know that I have done wrong. I thought James and Jane would just separate you and Gil was going to get scared about the kidnapping. But they are both crazy and want to kill her. Everything got out of hand and I couldn't live if she died for me. So I'll tell you everything I know" The crab confessed. The group thought a lot about that proposal. It could be true or it could be a lie. But they had to save Molly, there is no more time to lose. The five of them came to an interesting decision.
"Very good. Tell us what you know. And then you will go to the police to confess everything. They will help us find her" Nonny said. And so, he finally revealed Molly's location to them. It was the perfect opportunity.
"We must go to the police now" Mr. Grouper said seriously.
"We cannot waste time. If what he says is true, they will kill her soon. We cannot allow it. I have a better idea. The five of us are going to get Molly while he and Mr. Grouper go to the police. We will buy time for them to arrive. We must keep Molly alive by then" Gil explained the plan.
"Gil, that's very risky. Are you sure?" Mr. Grouper asked.
"I´ll do it. I love her and my duty is to protect her with my life. I don't know the others but I'll go" Gil said determined. He felt a hand take his shoulder.
"We support you in everything, my friend" Goby said.
"This time you won't be alone" Deema added.
"What we are going to do will be very dangerous. We need an elaborate plan" Nonny commented.
"Well we got the smartest boy here" Oona smiled at him. He blushed a little.
"(sigh) Let's go for that son of a b*tch!" Gil said seriously. Gil's tone was actually a bit scary. He was willing to save his girlfriend no matter the price.
The time to strike has come. Gil, Goby, Deema, Oona and Nonny were in a hurry to find Molly. It took a while due to the fact that it was a bit out of town. They found a warehouse that appeared to be abandoned. That is the place! Molly's position is here. The group hid in some nearby bushes to discuss a more elaborate plan.
"According to James's friend, this is the place" Goby said.
"We have to get her out of there now" Gil said seriously.
"We can't do it yet. We must plan something" Oona intervened.
"Analyzing the facts ... Mmmm ... There may be 5 guards. The other two crabs, the big fish, Jane and James. We must study the watch they are doing. Therefore, we must enter stealthily" Nonny explained.
"Come on, not making a sound" Gil whispered. The rest nodded.
They slowly entered the hold. It was big and old. Since there were only 5 people, it would be a bit easier to get in unnoticed. They swam on tiptoe until they hid behind some boxes. They finally saw Molly tied up. She was worse than before. She had more bruises, cuts, scars, and a little more bleeding. Her hair was no longer beautiful and it was just a mess. She had parts without hair. She looked tired and very weak. In front of her was Jane, the psycho girl who planned this madness.
"Whoa, Molly! You really look terrible. I see that you are not as great as everyone thinks. You're just a piece of sh*t to me" Jane smirked.
"Hmmmm Hmmm" Molly said weakly.
"Sorry, did you want to tell me something? I can not hear you" Jane asked sarcastically. Molly just resigned herself "I know, friend. You are tired. You are weak. You know? I'm starting to feel a little sorry for you. So ... I think it would be a good idea ... to end your suffering once and for all"
"Hmmmm Hmmmm!" Molly was scared.
"Trust me, I'm being merciful to you. Besides, torturing myself was already starting to bore me. So killing you was just a matter of time" Jane smiled evilly. She readied her pistol from her waist and pointed it at Molly's head. The guppies were terrified, they could do something but it would be too late. But luckily someone interrupted her.
"Not so fast, my friend. We still need her alive" James intervened.
"And now that? I'm done doing everything you want, when will we do what I want?" Jane was angry. Even if Jane had a gun in her hand, James was never intimidated.
"Molly said something very important days ago. We must take care of Gil soon. Don't you want to get back at him too?" James proposed.
"Ahh my Gil. It was the best toy of its time. I don't want to do anything to him but ... If something happens to him, Molly would suffer ... And that would kill her inside" She smiled evilly.
"Well….come here! Let her rest" James ordered. She simply accompanied her comrade in crime and they went somewhere else. The guppies sighed in relief that Molly was still alive. They stayed hidden for a few more minutes to make sure they really left. Upon confirming that, the five guppies crept out of hiding. Molly saw them and was surprised.
"Molly! We come for you" Gil said that in a low voice. He wiped his girlfriend's face and looked into her eyes. He put a hand on her cheek "Oh Molly….What did those demons do to you !?" He carefully peeled the duct tape from her mouth. She gave a loud sigh as soon as the tape was removed from her mouth.
"G..Guys!:...Are...you here? Or am I already delirious?" Molly asked weakly.
"Molly...we really are here...to save you" Gil smiled at her.
"Ugh...her hands are chained" Oona commented.
"I'll take care of that" Deema said before pulling a small hair clip out of her huge blonde hair. She managed to free Molly from those chains. Immediately, Molly couldn't support her own weight and fell to the ground very weak and tired.
"Can you get up?" Goby asked worried.
"Ugh...I….I...can't" Moly tried to get up but she was too weak. So many days of torture have left her very weak.
"Come here, my love" Gil made her put her arm on top of him. So he would hold her while she could swim slowly.
"Hey! They are here!" At that moment, the two crabs and the big fish appeared. James's three friends. The guppies were cornered.
"Oh oh" The six gasped.
"You have no escape guys" The big fish said. They just laughed at them and approached them in an intimidating way. The guppies didn't know what to do. But one of them took a step forward, putting herself between the guppies and James' henchmen.
"Guys….Get Molly out of here. I take care of them" It was Oona seriously.
"Oona, they are dangerous!" Goby was worried.
"I am not worried about Oona. I´m worried about them" Nonny commented.
"What do you mean, Nonners?" Deema was confused.
"Look" Nonny said.
Oona simply closed her eyes, gave a heavy sigh and got into a defensive position. The crabs and the fish laughed at her. One of the crabs approached her, but Oona took it by the pincer and she pulled it away. The other decided to attack her, but she easily defended herself and knocked him down.
"You think you are very strong, worm!" The fish said angrily. He surpassed Oona in physical strength, but she was more cunning and knew how to defend herself. She just managed to knock him down with a few punches and a tail flick at the end.
"The bigger and more talkative they are, the greater their downfall" Oona commented.
"Can...Can...Can you fight all this time?" Gill asked shocked like the rest. Except Nonny.
"I'll explain it later. Now go!" Oona ordered. The others just went upstairs and headed out of the building. There they ran into someone unpleasant.
"Hello there! I didn't expect to see you here. In fact, I thought that you would never be together again" James smirked.
"YOU!" Gil shouted angrily. He left Molly for some time and he ran to him.
"Gil, wait!" Goby shouted. Gil was face to face with him.
"I see I underestimated you, Gil. You achieved what I thought you would not do" James said.
"Remember what I told you, James? ... I'll find you and make you pay" Gil said angrily.
"Yeah?"
"This IS the time!" Gil did the unthinkable, he hit James in the stomach, knocking him out of breath. And there it did not stop. Gil beat James up. He couldn't defend himself from the wrath of the angry guppy. The others were scared of their friend. They never saw him furious. He had no mercy on James "This is for my friends ... This is for what you did to Molly ... This is for emotionally torturing me ..." He continued to hit him.
"Gil, stop!" Goby intervened.
"Why are you stopping me? That bastard deserves this and more …" Gil was angry.
"I know and I understand you. But it isn't the right thing. If you do it, you won't be a better person than him. He will pay for his crime according to the law" Goby calmed him a thought about hitting James more, but he saw Molly's scared face. She's had enough, so he stopped.
"Guys...let's go" Gil said. The rest were prepared to leave. But….
"Not too fast, kiddo!" It was Jane pointing her gun at the guppies. The others were scared.
"What the hell! You really are crazy, friend!" Deema shouted shocked.
"Everyone shut up! I will not let you stupid get away with it. Always getting into my plans. But no more. None of you will make it out of this alive" Jane said evilly.
"Yeah...hehehe" James smirked weakly.
"And you will die too, James!" Jane added.
"WHAT? WHY?" James was worried now.
"I only used you to get my revenge. Now I will kill them all ... And I will take care of making your last minutes of life torture, Molly Gentilella!" She laughed evilly.
"...Jane….Why do you hate me?" Molly asked weakly.
"Do you want to know? I hated you from the day I met you. I hate your "perfect" personality. They all love Molly. Teachers, students, friends, they all idolize you. Also, you stole MY Gil!" She explained.
"Let's get one thing straight, Jane. I never loved you. I've always loved Molly. Besides, you made me suffer in our relationship. Besides ... YOU'RE A F*CKING PSYCHOPATH!" Gil admitted.
"I see ... Alright ... If I don't have Gil ... NOBODY WILL HAVE HIM!" She pointed her gun "And you will die too. I will not leave witnesses" She was referring to the other guppies. Nonny just hugged Oona who was shaking and panicking. Gil just looked at her seriously. Goby and Deema only held hands in case it was their end. Everything looked bad until something happened.
"BubbleTucky Police Department! You are surrounded! Put the gun down and put your hands where I can see them!" One police officer shouted. Several policemen arrived pointing their weapons at the young psychopath. Thanks, Mr Grouper and the crab.
"Jane….we are done...hehehe" James smirked weakly. But Jane was not intimidated by the police. She started laughing like a fucking insane.
"One more warning, give up and no one will get hurt" The commander ordered.
"Do you think you scare me? Hahahaha I don't mind dying ... I just want to ... KILL HER!" She pointed her gun at Molly.
"NOOO!" The guppies gasped.
"Don't try it!" The officer shouted.
"GOOD BYE, DAMN BRUNETTE!"
And at that moment...Bang!...Only one shot was heard.
God ... the tension won't stop! But what happened? What happened to that shot? Jane gave Molly? Was it the police? Who knows, they will only find out in the next episode.
