Being curious, Celestia casts a spell, but ends up in 1996, on the day Angie and Rafael are supposed to break up. Star questions the Magic High Commission, while Zeus visits Olympia.

Plot

At Butterfly Castle, Star is drinking a cup of tea, and telling Marco about how she met herself from another reality. Marco becomes concerned, wondering if they should get the Mhc involved, but Star doesn't want them to get involved, believing that they might lie to her, just like they did about the Clock God. Marco is confused, wondering what Star means, but she tells him not to worry and heads out.

Star arrives at the Situation Room, seeing her councillers; Kelly, Janna, Ponyhead, Tom, Penelope, Lord Lavabo, Amanda, Byron The Giraffe Monster, Coco The Snake Monster, and Binky The Giant Man Baby Monster. Star asks if anything new has come up on the Clock God, but no one is sure he even exists, and Star takes out the Wanted Poster of him to prove that he does exist. Tom is still uncertain, and Janna finds it unbelievable how he gets to have a say in things, in which Tom warns Janna not to start with him. Amanda asks Kelly if they have trouble in paradise, but Janna and Tom state that they don't, which prompts Ponyhead to question why Luigio only stays with Janna, and not both of his parents, which everyone else save for Star, agrees with. Tom is stumped, while Janna storms out of the room, while Kelly and Amanda follow after her.

After the meeting, Star asks Tom and Janna if they can handle being in the same room together. Tom says that he can, as long as Janna stops nagging him to death and allows him to see Luigio. Janna interjects, stating that she is actually doing Tom a favor, blurting out how she doesn't want to have to use a spell that could literally break Tom's heart and kill him, if they end up in a cruel marriage from being together. As Janna starts getting upset, Star decides to leave them alone, as Tom comforts Janna, saying that if they have to be apart in order for Luigio to have both of his parents, then so be it.

At the Diaz Residence, Celestia is reading the Magical Book of Spells with Glossaryck, when Rafael comes in with some sandwiches, and mentions how Celestia reminds him of Angie, in which he hates how they broke up on Valentine's Day of 1996, but was glad that someone managed to get them back together, and then leaves, as Celestia continues reading, while commenting how Galaxy The Ballerina must've been a tyrant, Glossaryck agrees, saying that pleasing the Nobles and leaving the Mewmans to fend for themselves is not a way to rule. Celestia wonders if there is a way for her to see what actually went down during Galaxy's reign, but Glossaryck warns that traveling that far into the past is impossible and could be dangerous. Celestia decides to listen to Glossaryck, but improvises, and states that she'll just time travel a few seconds into the past, but Glossaryck states that even doing it a few seconds could mess things up, since if Celestia "now", runs into the Celestia of "a few seconds ago", it could cause an endless paradox of Celestia running into herself within a span of few seconds, that would never end.

Celestia thinks for moment, and counters with asking if they aren't already in an endless loop of time, which Glossaryck doesn't know the answer to. With that, Celestia takes out her Amulet Wand, and runs to the backyard, as Glossaryck reluctantly follows her. In the backyard, Celestia takes out her wand, and begins to think of a spell.

Meanwhile, Olympia speaks into a ball of light and sends it through a portal.

Back in Echo Creek, it begins to get terribly windy, which Celestia points out. Suddenly, Celestia's wand begins glowing, just as a portal opens in the sky, and the ball of light comes out and crashes right onto Celestia. Inside the ball, Celestia screams in pain, as glowing white veins start appearing on her. Outside the ball, Glossaryck teleports away, as the ball explodes, sending off a invisible wave, that changes everything. The way people are dressed and look, people getting changed into different people, and just the whole atmosphere in general.

As for Celestia, she wakes up in the backyard, feeling like she time traveled. With that, Celestia heads inside the Diaz Residence, but to her surprise, it is clear that they do not live here. Suddenly, a man appears with a bat, as Celestia pleads with the man not to hurt her. The man asks who Celestia is, and she introduces herself, while telling him that she is looking for Angie and Rafael Diaz, but the man has no idea who those people are, and orders for Celestia to get out of his house. After Celestia leaves, the man sits down and cuts on the Tv, as it is revealed to be February 14th, 1996. The man then glances over to a picture hanging on his mantle, as it is revealed that the man is Hankie Fitzgareld, who is still sad over the death of his Wife and the disappearance of his daughters.

As for Celestia, she finally realizes that she has time traveled to the 90s, preferably 1996, after looking at a newspaper article. Celestia begins getting nervous, wondering if her doing pretty much anything, would change history, even thinking that if she does anything or interacts with anyone, she could even end up not being born. Celestia arrives at Britta's Tacos, where she notices a small crowd of people around a man named Jonathen Lynn Thomas, who is a professional surfer. Celestia notes how familiar he looks, but then shrugs it off. With that, Celestia orders some tacos, and goes to sit by herself to eat them. As she does this, she sees the younger versions of her Grandparents, Angie and Rafael Diaz, who seem a little upset with one another. Celestia wonders why, and as they leave, celestia decides to follow them. Just then, Klaus and Jack arrive at Britta's Tacos, on a mission to stop Celestia.

At the Dame Der Zeit room, Olympia is eating smoked fish and corn, when an 11 year old Estrella informs her that a "Man that looks just like her" has arrived. Olympia tells the young Estrella to go and get him.

The man arrives, and it ends up being Zeus Firefly. Olympia states that she has waited for many cycles for Zeus to show himself to her. Zeus decides to get straight to the point, and wonders why they are fighting each other. Olympia looks baffled, stating that it should be obvious why they are fighting; one side wants the apocalypse, while the other does not. Olympia rhetorically questions if it is that hard to understand, and Zeus argues that wanting to destroy the world is not a good thing, and Olympia argues back by saying that niether is wanting to kill someone. Zeus gets frustrated, and asks Olympia, "Why?". Olympia states that she wants to bring the New World, a world where no more suffering and problems exist; a world without magic. Zeus points out how that ended up turning out for the alternate reality, and Olympia states that it was supposed to happen, even explaining how both realities are supposed to intertwine with one another. Zues wonder how they've intertwined, and after cleaning her mouth with a napkin, Olympia explains that Zeus bringing Klaus into the Original Reality has caused the intertwine-ment, and the fact that Meteora from the Alternate Reality time traveled and ended up in the Original Reality, having her being an example of the intertwine-ment of the two realities. Zeus then asks about his reality, but Olympia casually states that it was destroyed after Zeus was reborn in 1926. Zeus becomes furious, which does not seem to phase Olympia. Zeus, in trying to retain his anger, states that is the exact reason why he sent Klaus and Jack after "the girl", implying Celestia. Olympia warns Zeus to leave Celestia out of this situation, but Zeus does not understand why she'd want that, since he knows that Celestia is connected to all of this, even reminding Olympia, that this has all happened before. With that, Zeus leaves, as Olympia looks at her plate.

At the Bureaucracy of Magic, Star asks Shaun, if she can see the Mhc, but as according to him, they are busy. Star does not believe him, and goes to see them anyway. Once at the top, Star discovers the Mhc celebrating they're 909th year of existence, much to Star's confusion. Omni asks why Star is here, and she demands for them to tell her everything they know about the Clock God, but Hekapoo states that they already did. Star points to Glossaryck, who is shoving his face full of pudding, stating that he told her that the Clock God's memory was gone, and that he was the cause of making Mars get stabbed by Pluto all because of a fortune cookie. The Mhc look at each other, and Omni tells Star that she did that. Star chuckles, and states that her "Other self" did it. Suddenly, Star realizes something, and wonders if she was apart of the Clock God's plan to set Mars up to die in the first place.

Omni reassures Star that it was not her fault, stating that if Mars had not discovered the Clock God in the first place, then none of that would've happened. Star is even more confused, thinking that the Mhc aren't telling her something. Glossaryck, who is still eating pudding, off-handedly mentions how Celestia is gonna mess up time if she stops Angie and Rafael from breaking up in 1996. Star hears this, snatches Glossaryck, and heads out.

Hekapoo thanks Glossaryck, who is still eating the pudding, but he states that he didn't do it to help them, he did it so "she" would address the issue. Hekapoo and the others are confused, and Glossaryck states that "In time" it will all make sense, and then leaves. Hekapoo expresses agitation, as Omni stares off into space and states that he has to leave, which he does quickly.

Celestia demands to know who they are, and Klaus tells Celestia that she cannot stop Angie and Rafael from breaking up, because if she does, she will ruin everything. Celestia is confused, and stubbornly questions if Klaus and Jack are pranking her. Jack tells Celestia that they work for Zeus Firefly, who is trying to take them to the New World. Celestia is even more confused, and just then, Star appears, telling Klaus and Jack to get away from Celestia. Star explains that Glossaryck, who is with her, had told her everything. With that, Klaus and Jack escape, as Star demands for Glossaryck to take Celestia back home, and chases after Klaus and Jack.

Celestia does not like this, and runs off. However, she runs into Rafael, and tries to hide her face so she won't mess up time, but that doesn't work. Rafael expresses his sadness of ruining his relationship with Angie, and hates how they always break up. Celestia tells Rafael that he should be a good boyfriend and knows for sure that him and Angie will work things out. Rafael thanks Celestia and goes off to find Angie, implying that it was Celestia, all along, who managed to get Angie and Rafael back together. Celestia is happy that her grandparents are going to be getting back together, but then goes off to head back home.

At the Mall, Star gets into all out brawl with Klaus and Jack. While fighting, Bobby Aubergine is with his Mother, Mia, when they almost get crushed by a falling piece of debris. In the throne room, Queen Mars Butterfly, is reading to some mewman children about Mewnipendence Day, when Zeus arrives. Zeus tries to speak, but Mars blasts him just for the fun of it, and Zeus deflects it with his finger, causing the blast to bounce around the room, until it hits the kids, who suddenly turn old, much to Mars's shock.

Back in 1996, Celestia sneaks back into the backyard of Hankie Fitzgareld's home, but gets caught by a young boy named Phineas Lopus, who wonders why Celestia is in Old Man Fitzgareld's backyard. Celestia notes how familiar Phineas looks, but then, Hankie appears with his bat, as Phineas drops his ball and runs off. Hankie glares at Celestia.

Inside the house, Hankie is calling the police on Celestia, for trespassing, as Celestia continues pleading and begging for Hankie not to. Suddenly, Glossaryck appeares, and tells Celestia that Hankie is Meteora's husband. Celestia doesn't believe Glossaryck at first, until she gets pointed out to the photo of Meteora with Hankie, Regina, and Anna. Celestia walks up to the photo, and asks Hankie to tell her about his Wife. Hankie sighs sadly, and states that he met his Wife in the fall of '74, randomly at his doorstep, stating how scared and terrified she looked, even adding how she was also pregnant with her and another man's child, who he points out as Regina, which Celestia notes at how familiar Hankie's daughters look. Hankie assumes that Celestia has seen them since they vanished, and demands to know where they are. Celestia states that she did not know they disappeared, and then asks about Meteora.

Later, Hankie and Celestia arrive at the Echo Creek Cemetary, seeing Meteora's Grave, much to Celestia's shock. Upon looking at it, Celestia asks how Meteora died, and Hankie does not know. He tells her that she had went out to find Regina and Anna, but something went wrong, and when he woke up at seeing his girls missing, he went to go and find them, but only found Meteora on the verge of death, before eventually, she did die, which shocks Celestia.

After returning to Hankie's home, they discover Star, who grabs Celestia and quickly prepares for them to go. As they do, Hankie asks if Star knows anything about his Wife, she says no, and Hankie becomes very upset. Suddenly, Klaus and Jack appear, as Phineas also appears to retrieve his ball, as Jack looks at him strangely. Hankie gets angry that people are saying things about his wife and daughters, but don't know anything about them. So this time, he takes out a gun, threatening to shoot everyone. Celestia tries to tell Hankie to put the gun down, and that he does not need to act this crazy. Hankie screams at Celestia, stating that he has been left in the dark for too long, demanding to know why the Old Flower Lady told him about Meteora in the first place if she was just going to die. Klaus asks who told him about Meteora, if they were the ones who killed her and took Regina and Anna away, shocking Celestia and Star. As for Hankie, he becomes furious, as Glossaryck tells Phineas, "This is where things get interesting.".

Suddenly, in that split second as Hankie shoots his gun, the bullet heads right for Klaus's head. Time slows down, as Celestia's cheekmarks glow, as the veins from before, appear again. In pain and confusion, Celestia screams, as her pupils glow an omnious cold white, which everyone notices within the slowness. As Celestia screams in pain, she unleashes a giant blastwave of power, vaporizing the bullet and Hankie's gun, and sending everyone flying backwards.
