"Hello?" Naomi answered her phone.

"What's going on, Naomi?"

"Short version. I don't have time," Naomi said quickly. "An old acquaintance of Shiho Nishizumi is head of a PMC and snuck live ammunition into our supply of league munitions."

"What?!"

"Let me finish! The live shells do not have the Tankery Federation proof marks. Get rid of those shells and come help us. We don't have contact with Black Forest and Pravda isn't answering. We need to disable all tanks before anyone else gets hurt. And bring plenty of machinegun ammo, and small arms if you have them. You might run into some of the fucking PMCs."

"You have got to be joking!"

"Does it sound like I'm joking?!" Naomi was encountered with a few seconds of silence. "The PMCs dress in all black and have a black knight as their logo. And bring your best tanks. Ignore the league rules."

"Okay…?"

"Keep your phone on."

Alison Hunter, commonly known as 'Assam' by fans, looked at her phone's timer blink after Naomi hung up.

Naomi's words soaked into her head for a few seconds.

Assam threw her bed sheets off of her and rushed out the door.

A/N: Yes, I did take some liberties with names because the characters' actual names are not revealed at the time I'm writing this. And saying that formatting the text messages on the Document Manager was a pain is an understatement. It does not allow me to format it the way I want it to be.
