"You still sure you didn't do it?"

"No honestly I swear! Really I was with the Magic high Commission all day for pizza-I mean meetings!"

"Positive?" Star glared at Rhombulus. Even though she believed he wasn't at the crystal dimension at all today, she still didn't fully trust him. He had done some shifty stuff before.

"I swear really!"

"Oh yeah? Well let's really find out!"

Powering up her wand, she poofed up the blue truth box, a box that can detect whether a person is lying or not. She previously encountered this box twice before, once at her sleepover and the second time at Eclipsa's trial.

"Okay, now Rhombulus did you or did you not recrystallized Eclipsa?"

"No honestly! For the last time, I was with the commission all day! For real!"

The box then turned green. "Truth! Rhombulus has in fact been with the magic high commission all day. Eating pizza I might add."

"Oh, thanks truth box," Star's face softened as she poofed the box away. She turned back to Rhombulus on her compact mirror. "So, you were telling the truth."

"See told ya. Now leave me be. They're about to serve pepperoni pizza! Later!"

Star sighed as she put her compact mirror away. She then turned to Marco who had been listening and waiting patiently. "Well that confirms it. Rhombulus didn't do it."

"But it doesn't make sense. Only Rhombulus has the ability to crystalize stuff. If he didn't crystalize Eclipsa, then who did?"

"I don't know, Marco," Soon, her expression changed to that of determination and ran out of the temple.

"Hey whoa! Where are we going?" Marco questioned as he tried to keep up with her.

"To my mom," Star answered. "If anyone can help us with this problem, it's her."

At a lovely peaceful forest surrounded by trees with a crystal blue water river and animals of many kinds, now resided the former queen of mewni Moon Butterfly along with her husband River.

After Star had passed her wand and queen manship to Eclipsa, Moon and River moved into the forest, she actually found forest life to be quite… soothing.

She rocked back and forth on her hammock, staring up at the cloudy sky with a relaxing expression on her face. It was a nice change from having to make decisions all the time.

Suddenly, River burst out of the tent. "I'm off to get some meat for dinner dear!" he bellowed, holding a spear. "Do you want deer meat or wolf meat?"

Moon rolled her eyes. "Whatever dear. Just be back soon."

After River left, Moon turned back to her relaxation mode, but was quickly interrupted by the sudden arrival of none other than her daughter and her friend.

"Mom! Mom!"

Moon looked up and brightened upon the sight of her child. She hadn't seen Star since she left her with Eclipsa.

"Star!" Moon shot up and embraced her daughter in a joyful hug. "Star, sweetie it's so nice to see you! And you too, Marco. How have you been?"

"Yeah, Yeah nice to see you too," Star quickly said. She pushed her mom off. "Now listen mom, something weird is happening. Eclipsa is crystalized again and I thought Rhombulus was behind it, but it turned out he wasn't so I don't know what's going on and I thought you could help."

"Wait Eclipsa is crystalized again?" Moon exclaimed, looking surprised. "But only Rhombulus can do that. If he didn't do it, well I don't know how…." Suddenly her expression dropped. "Oh no…"

"What oh no mom?" Star asked worriedly.

"It's worse than I feared, Star. Remember that deal I made with Eclipsa years ago? That if a certain someone was dead she would be free and if he's not dead she would still be crystalized?"

Star's face dropped as soon as she learned exactly what Moon meant. Panic was in her eyes. "Oh no, mom…" her voice was shaking. "Mom, you don't mean."

"Yes, I'm afraid so, my dear," Moon said, her voice serious. "Toffee has returned."

"But but how?" Star exclaimed, hands on her head. "I revived the magic! I went full Butterfly on him and Ludo crushed him with that pillar! How can he still be alive?!"

"I don't know, Star," Moon admitted. "But if Eclipsa is crystalized once more, then he must have survived and is out there somewhere."

While listening to Moon and Star's convo, Marco felt like he heard a voice calling his name. He turned to the forest but no one was there. Shrugging it off, he turned back to Moon and Star.

"Marco…"

There it was again.

Marco turned back to the forest but once more showed no signs of anyone. He decided to investigate. Maybe someone was spying on them and he wanted to keep Moon and Star safe.

"Marco….."

"Who's there?" Marco snarled, executing some bold karate moves. "And why are you calling me? I swear I'm a red belt in karate so you better not mess with me!"

"Marco…."

"Show yourself!" Marco cried backin up to some trees.

Suddenly blue hands reached out from behind and grabbed Marco by the mouth, covering his lips.

"Mmmmmm!" Marco kicked but the figure wouldn't let go.

Suddenly a head of blue septarian with slicked back hair and evil eyes wearing a professional black suit stared down at his fearful brown eyes, clutching him tightly.

"SURPRISE MARCO!" Toffee grinned. "Did ya miss me?"

"MMMMMM…." Marco cried and had soon vanished alongside Toffee.

Kidnapping Marco was just the first step of his new evil plan.
