As she walks through the silky green life as the sun beams down on her, she stares at the big yellow door. As the person inside reaches for the dark long handle, one of the doors falls right off. The bus driver, having been used to this, pulled her arm back as she let the events of bad luck enroll in front of her eyes.

Lennie then stares toward the hard, cold ground. She knows that bad luck is part of her life but yet she just can't stop feeling ashamed about it. She continues to look down at the ground with embarrassment as she puts her foot on the first step.

However, in a nearby construction sight, 2 workers are talking about what to do with the equipment that they have. The 1st worker continues to tell the one in the crane to one side, then to the other, then to the other.

"Bob, stop. Just stop. I'm supposed to put this thing next to the building." Says Jared, the 2nd construction.

"No, Jared. You're supposed to put it next to the pipeline."

"Bob, shut up. It goes next to the pipe." At this point, Jared is starting to get pissed off at Bob. He starts to get out of the crane but knocks over his water cup. "Oh come on." Jared then tries to deal with the mess, but it starts a chain reaction that eventually causes the chains holding the tube to snap, letting the pipe go.

The pipe rolls and rolls. Eventually it gets to Lennie's street. Lennie looks to the side before getting on the bus and sees the pipe rolling her way. Lennie yells out of fear and turns to run. As she ran, she noticed the pipe was getting closer. She then jumps out of the way just as the pipe goes right over where she was. Lennie just continues to lay on the now soft, green patch of grass.

Lennie then gets up to see her brother, Mason walking towards the bus. He looks to the side and sighs sarcastically. "Oh, Lennie. Poor you. I can get on the bus with a little bad luck, but you can't even get on the bus at all. I wish I could help you." Mason says sarcastically.

Lennie just sits there, blushing in embarrassment. "Shut up, Mason."

"What, it's true." Mason tells his sister as he gets on the bus.

A random kid walks up to Mason and starts to defend Lennie. "You know, you shouldn't pick on her like that."

"Whatever kid." Mason says as he walks down the seats. He sits down in the very back with the most popular, but the biggest jerks, on the bus.

Lennie gets up and walks towards the bus. She thinks about her brother for a minute. Mason wasn't always a jerk to Lennie. About 3 years ago, Mason and Lennie loved to go on the playground and climb the jungle gym together. All the other kids would race but when you fall, you couldn't get back up. When one would fall, the other one would let go so the one who fell didn't have to be alone at the bottom. They had fun together. Mason even used to play dolls just so his sister could be happy. Until he joined the baseball team. From then on he started to bully her, trying to fit in with the cool crowd. Lennie is then snapped back into reality when the kid who stood up for her invited her to sit with him. Until he joined the baseball team. From then on he started to bully her, trying to fit in with the cool crowd.

She accepted being in the vulnerable state she was in. She sits down and stays silent for a few minutes. Lennie then stares at the random kid. She was about 5 foot 6 with a cute jacket on. Her shirt was black and her pants were peach-ish.

"So, what's your name?" Lennie asks.

"My name is Serenity, Serenity Underwood." Says the strange girl.

They then go silent again. They just stare straight ahead, thinking about random things in their head.

"Thanks for standing up to my brother, Serenity."

"No problem, Lennie. I just hate to see people be so terrible to others, especially if it's their own sister."

"So, how long have you lived here?"

"Oh, we just moved here last week. My dad had to move due to his job."

"What's his job?"

"He used to be part of the Lumber Zach's but now he's an executive producer of a company called, Fortcraft."

"What's that?"

"You have to build homes and survive inside certain environments. Other people can also loot your place while you're offline. It's a really fun game."

"Really, I would love to play it. Hey, if you want to meet my dad and play the game, then come over tonight at 7:00 pm tonight. There is going to be a party."

"Where is your home?"

"It's on sunrise Rise Road, 92 Sunrise."

The bus then comes to a sudden stop right in front of the school. Lennie then looks at Serenity. "All right, I guess I will see you at 7:00 pm tonight. Thanks for the invite." She says as she gets up and gets off the bus.

"Alright, see you later." Serenity says as she follows Lennie. They both part ways and head to their 1st class of the day.

It was 6:20 pm and Lennie was getting ready for the party. She wanted to look nice, but she didn't want to overkill, overkill being too much makeup as if she was a snotty suck up. To her, she was sort of, the odd one out. She has always had too much Murphy's Law ever since she was born. And every time she got knocked down by Murphy's Law, she always seemed to be made fun of. It always made her feel ashamed. So this night was the night that she was going to redeem herself, she was going to be seen as amazing, dangerous, and adventures.

When she was done preparing for the party, she walked out of the room and walked down stairs. When she got down, Milo asked her where she was going. She answered his question hesitantly but she still answered it.

"Well, it's fine by me. I'm glad to see you trying to get out there. Amanda, is it ok with you?" Milo asks his loving wife Amanda.

"Yes, darling. You may go," Says Amanda.

"Yes, yes. Thank you so much." Says Lennie in excitement, then Amanda intervenes.

"As long as your dad goes with you."

"What, that is totally unfair."

"Well take it or leave it Lennie, we just want to keep an eye on you until we know that you can keep yourself out of trouble." Milo tells his daughter.

"Dad, 1st you and I will triple the chances of things going wrong, 2nd this is my only chance to make a good first impression."

"Huh. Well, I guess I can make an exception." Milo pauses as he thinks about his decision. "I'll tell you what, you go in first, I'll stay in the car for about," Milo paused for a moment. "10 minutes, then I will go in. How does that sound?"

"Hmm, it'll do. Thanks dad."

"No problem. Just have a good time."

Milo and Lennie then get in the car and start heading to the party. When they get there, Milo turns around to tell Lennie one last thing. "So, Lennie. If anything does go wrong, just blame it on me, ok. I think that will help lay some slack on you."

"Thanks, dad. Love you, see you in 10 minutes. Byeeee."

"Love you to, sweetie."

Lennie then gets out of the car and walks up the stairs. Milo watched as she met with her friends and walked into the giant house. He then gets a little sense of Deja vu coming over him, as if he had been here before, or in this certain scenario before. He thought nothing of it as it was maybe because he saw someone that looked like one of his old friends. The 10 minutes then went by and he got out of the car and walked up the stairs to the door. He entered just in time for the fun to start.

Sorry if the end of the chapter is a little rushed, I really just needed to get this chapter out today. It was already past it's release date. The chapters might be a little farther apart because I'm trying to juggle school and this. I really love doing this and I want to make it work so please if anything is rushed, don't be rude about it. It just means that it was long past it's due date and I really wanted to get it out.

Thanks for reading and let me know how much you enjoyed the chapter. Until next time and have a blessed rest of your day.
