I don't own Pokemon

Chapter 1:

My name is Aaron Pine, I was just a 16 year old high school student until in front of me a freaking Ultra Wormhole appeared and I was sucked in. My day started normal, I was leaving home to partake in a Pokemon event. I had what most people would call an unhealthy amount of knowledge in the subject, it wouldn't be too far to call me obsessed with these magical animals. Anyway, I was just walking down an alley, when the space before me started distorting and an Ultra Wormhole grew, sucking my stunned self into the darkness.

Never in my short human existence, I imagined that something even close to this would happen. And now I find myself in an unfamiliar clearing in what appears to be the middle of the forest, alone and most of all shocked out of my mind.

Looking around, I see animals flying around that look suspiciously like Pokemon. I swear that pigeon coloration is exactly like a Pidgey's. What the hell is happening? Is this some kind of joke? No, it seems too realistic to be one. Why did these kinds of things happen to me? Did I seriously just get Isekai? Well, I guess it could be worse. At least I'm in the Pokemon universe and not something like Naruto, I don't think I would survive very long in a world like that.

I sigh before attempting to get up, only to stumble. What the hell? I look at my body only to find that I look somewhat smaller and younger. Eyeing my hands they look like they belong to a kid, not a teenager.

Stumbling a little because of my sudden change of height, I stand up unsteadily. Ok, let's try not to freak out. What do I remember? I was going to a Pokemon convention, then suddenly I felt the temperature around me drop to a chilling cold and suddenly, quicker than I could react, a giant shining Ultra Wormhole appeared and brought me here. And for some reason, I also became younger as well.

How does something like this happen? Is it because Ultra Wormholes connect the Pokemon dimension to the Ultra Beasts dimension, so it can form a connection with my own dimension as well? Well, it's not like any of my knowledge in science will help me in this case. Pokemon is or should be by everything I know, fictional. Not so much fiction now, heh? Well, it's that, or that giant green worm I'm seeing scaling a tree right now is caused by some serious hallucinations.

Wait, I had my bag with me at the time, did it come with me? I desperately look around and sigh in relief as I see the familiar cloth of my trusty backpack.

Walking to it, I kneel down and check its contents. Thankfully, everything appears to be here. Looking over the contents, I discover that I have absolutely no provisions, other than some chips, well, I was planning on going to a convention not camping, so what did I expect? Anyway, I also have an extra change of clothes and my electronics, laptop, cellphone, switch and 3DS, along with my hard drives and surprisingly a solar recharger, I never thought my mother's fussing would be this life-saving.

I sit down on the soft grass after putting everything back inside my bag. Ok, planning time, what should I do now? If I want to go back my best bet would be to look for Solgaleo, Lunala, Palkia, and Arceus. The thing is, if this really is the Pokemon universe, I can't help but feel excitement and exhilaration. Can I become a Pokemon trainer? Win the Pokemon league and become 'the very best there ever was'? It must be every Pokemon fan's dream to go on their own adventure with their Pokemon, winning battles, and having fun. That is no different for me, and this seems a one in a lifetime chance that I just can't miss.

Well, step one of the plan is getting out of this forest. Getting up, I look up to see the sun approximately at the very top of my head, so it must be sometime near mid-day. I have about six to seven hours of sunlight to find civilization or at least some kind of shelter and maybe some food.

Dusting my clothes off, I try to follow some trails that must have been left by Pokemons that live in these woods since they know their way around much better than I. I'm not a specialist in surviving in nature and all, but I did go hiking and camping with my... brother. But that isn't important right now.

Walking in an unstable terrain just after waking up in your shrunken body after being sucked by an Ultra Wormhole is not an easy thing to do. I can't count the times I fall on my face or hit a tree. Anyway, the point is that I'm exhausted. This is the time I regret not liking sports and staying locked in my room reading books and playing Pokemon.

I can feel my feet starting to burn after walking for so long, sweat runs down my forehead and my breath is ragged. The sun already moved across the sky indicating that it has been some hours already since I started walking. And, yet, I have yet to see any signs of civilization. My only interesting moments were my encounters with the forest habitants. I've seen Rattata, Centret, Pidgey, and even a Hoothoot. Thankfully, they didn't seem interested in me and left.

Finally after climbing, walking and falling, I find a small river. Quickly, sitting at its rocky shore, I take out my shoes and socks and dip my feet into the running water of the river. I let out a sigh of relief as the cold water swiftly passes my hurt feet.

Looking at my reflection on the water, I notice that I look like when I was around ten years or so. I also notice that it is not only my clothes that got all dirty after my fiftieth or so fall, but I can see dirt on my face and hair as well. I also have to point out that twigs aren't one of the most fashionable hair accessories. Well, it's not like there is anyone here to see me in this state.

I relax, focusing on the pleasant sensation and the relaxing sounds of the forest and river. These calming sounds of nature help me forget my surroundings for a moment and relax for the first time since I arrived in this dimension.

I don't know how much time I spent sitting and enjoying myself until I'm suddenly shaken from my calm state when I hear the noticeable sound of people talking. Standing up with a jump, I try to locate where the sound is coming from.

People! Finally, I can get out of this forest. Even, if I'm still far away from civilization, they could at least point me in the right direction. A little company wouldn't be uninvited as well, but I dread the most probable questions they'll have of what the hell I am doing alone, without a Pokemon in a forest.

Struggling a little, I follow the direction I think the voices are coming from with renovated energy. Pushing leaves out of my way to the side, I see two figures in the distance. Definitely human by their shape for my relief. Although, I hope they aren't as clueless about direction as they are for clothes, as their choice of outfit is 'interesting'. They are wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black pants, combined with what looks like a black cap and surprisingly a pair of colorful black shoes, note the sarcasm. They look like some evil villains from movies.

"Hey, you two. Can you help me, I happen to be a little lost," I call out to them.

The two adults stop walking as my voice reaches them, making me sigh in relief. The less I have to run in this new body until I get used to it, the better. As I get nearer, they turn around making me freeze in shock. At the center on their shirts, there is a big red R printed.

What's wrong with my luck!? Do I have to encounter Team Rocket after less than a day in the dimension I was forcefully thrown at? What have I done god, or should I start saying Arceus?

Only to worsen my situation the two grunts start smirking, which is never a good sign. I feel my head working miles per hour, trying to find a solution to my predicament.

"Look here, Jeff, we don't even need to look for them, the little kids come to us." The taller one of the two grunts says.

The other one nods, "you're right, Kevin. Professor Tambert will be pleased with us for being before schedule."

Their evil smirks only grow wider as the now named Kevin and Jeff walk closer to me, making me shiver and take a step back.

What do I do now!? They mentioned that they are going to be before schedule and Kevin, I think, said that kids come to them. Are they looking for kids? Well, this just got ten times worse. Apparently, on the first day of my life in this world, I managed to find kid abducting criminals that I doubt have good intentions.

Should I run away? But thinking logically my chances of outrunning two adults, who probably have Pokemons, when you're in your ten year old body that you're not accustomed to, are very bad. Not to mention that I don't know anything about my surroundings and don't know where to run to.

Cold sweat runs down my back as the two black-clothed men approach me. My legs feel like jelly and I can feel myself trembling. The grunts keep moving until they are right in front of me, and the last thing I remember is their evil smirks and a sharp pain behind my neck.

Pain, that is the first thing I register. I feel like I've been hit by a truck before being thrown into molten lava. All my body hurts with spasms of pain coming from everywhere. My head feels fuzzy and I have a terrible headache. What happened?

Looking back, I try to force myself to remember, why I'm like this, but I feel like my mind is involved in some dense gelatinous substance, making everything confusing and vague. All I feel is pain and helplessness, as I try to open my eyes, only to feel like my eyelids are glued together. I try to move, but it only makes me feel dizzy, as if I'm continuously spinning without a pause.

I feel sick and the pain is almost unbearable, if not for my rather sluggish state of mind. I start feeling my conscious leaving me and everything fading, my body seeming empty of any energy, and no matter how hard I try, I'm quickly claimed by soft and painless darkness.

As I wake up again I feel much better. Well, I wouldn't say that I'm feeling good, as I still feel like trash, but it still is much better than before. Now I can actually form coherent thoughts and not some strange sluggish gibberish. I'm surprised, I remember anything from the last time I've been awake at all.

Suddenly the memories of what happened, flood my brain, making me tense. The sudden movement isn't well received by my body, and I feel acute pain everywhere, like millions of sharp knives piercing my body.

As I'm feeling much more awake than before, I try opening my eyes again. This action is received with some resistance, but I overcome it and I am quickly blinded by shining white light hitting my sensitive eyes. It hurts, but it isn't anything new, as my body feels as if all my bones were taken, only for them to regrow back up again.

Groaning, I sit up, my entire body aching in the process. Taking some deep breaths to recover myself from moving, I slowly lift my head and look around the room.

I appear to be inside a small cubic white room that looks like a hospital. One of the walls is made entirely from glass and I can see a lot of machines and equipment on the other side. I'm sitting on a bed with white covers and at my side, there's a bedside table with a pot filled with some suspicious gross brown substance and a cup of water.

I'm not touching that not identified goo, I have no wish to be poisoned by whatever that is. The water looks normal, but you never know what they might have put in it. No way in hell am I putting anything my kidnappers offer me inside my mouth.

They also appear to have cleaned me up and put me in some clean white clothes, white shorts, and a white t-shirt. So they not only kidnap me, but they also invade my privacy, what a rude bunch.

Ok, what do I do now? There doesn't seem to be a door anywhere in this place, or any other place for me to escape, except a small ventilation opening, but it is definitely too high for me to reach. Oh, let's not also mention that I can barely move as my body is in constant pain. What did these people do to me?

This room kinda looks like a hospital, so that could mean one thing, a laboratory. So they are kidnapping children for experiments? Is that why my body hurts so much? Did they do something to me?

Well, I'm sure I'm not getting any answers by simply staying put, I need a plan. Looking over the glass the room beyond seems empty. The only problem is that I can see a camera pointed at me, meaning that there is probably someone monitoring my movements. My escape just got ten times harder.

I'm suddenly brought out of my thoughts by the distant sound of people talking getting nearer. Oh, people are coming, should I try to fake sleeping? But I guess it won't be very effective, since they only need to look at their camera to know I'm very much awake.

Abruptly, the doors of the room beyond the glass wall opens, and two scientists enter the room. They seem to have been talking to each other, but stop shocked when they land their eyes on me. I suspect they weren't expecting to see me awake or something.

"Magnificent!" One of the scientists exclaims joyfully.

He is wearing a white coat with the Team Rocket logo on it. He has a thin mustache that ends in a curl, small brown eyes and his brown hair makes his head look a little like an onion. All in all his appearance together with the delirious look on his face makes him look quite evil and crazy.

"Finally, after 194 experiments we finally succeeded!" He continues excitedly, making him look like a kid in a sugar rush.

What the hell. Did I hear them right? They said they experimented on 194 subjects, meaning 194 kids that probably are dead or crippled for life. I know Team Rocket is evil and all, but to do such a thing… This is horrible.

"What did you do to me!?" I scream at them.

The crazy scientist smirks at me, "sorry little pet, we can't hear you. But don't worry from now on we'll have lots of fun."

I look stunned at the white-coated men that seem to be even crazier than I imagined. I guess doing human experiments for Team Rocket does this to you. But I'm curious about the other man since he's just standing there doing nothing. Well, at least he doesn't seem out of his mind like his partner.

"But, I'm quite sure you want to know what we did to you," the scientist laughs. "You see, we decided to inject Mew's own DNA inside humans to create the most powerful human for Team Rocket. We knew the human has to be young, so we took kids of about ten years old and experimented on them. Sadly, most of them ended up dying, with their body not being able to endure the entry of such powerful cells. And there is where you come in, for some reason your body endured and absorbed the DNA perfectly, assimilating it into your body. We call you the Mewthree!"

I'm horrified. What the bloody hell. Mew's DNA? Mewthree? Does this mean I have some kind of superpower now? And what will the legendaries think of me? Will they see me as some kind of aberration and try to erase me? Well, they left Mewtwo alone, but he is still a full Pokemon, not a human. Although, according to the Manga series he is a fusion of Mew and human cells…

I turn to the two scientists enraged, "and why do you think I will join Team Rocket!?"

"I already told you little pet, we can't hear anything you say," the crazy scientist says. "But don't you worry about anything outside anymore, Team Rocket is your family now, and I will be sure to train you to shape."

I gulp as the crazy scientist smiles, before turning around and leaving through the door he came. His companion, who kept a blank face throughout the conversation, stays looking at me for a while longer, unnerving me, before finally following behind. It is strange, for some reason I keep feeling like I recognize him from somewhere, but I can't place where.

Uh, I feel like some animal in the zoo or something. And what are they talking about, pet? Like hell, I'm going to cooperate with Team Rocket, much less become their weapon.

Also, thinking about it, is the reason of how I survived the experiment related to my most otherworldly origins? It may be, because I'm a human from another world, or even something related to the Ultra Wormhole. Anyway, I guess I'm somewhat lucky that I'm still alive, but also if it wasn't for my luck I wouldn't be Team Rocket's lab rat right now.

Ok, step one of my infallible plan, find exactly where on the map I am. Am I at the game corner, at someplace else, or even at Viridian City gym. Step two, look for a form of possible escape, when let out of this square room. I'm not going to waste a moment, I will get out of this place, even if it is the last thing I'll do.

But for now, I have to deal with it. Better get up tomorrow with energy to fight them off, so I better sleep now. Also sleep is something really appealing when your body hurts like hell.

Sighting, I fall down on the bed and get underneath the thin white covers they provided me. At least I will not pass the night cold, with how little fresh air this room seems to receive.

Waking up with someone shaking me is something that I personally don't enjoy. Looking up a little irritated, My eyes lock with the second scientist that was watching me before, making me jump back fully awake.

"What do you want!?" I snarl at him.

Is it already morning? Strangely I don't feel very well-rested, but that can be because my body isn't in it's best condition right now. Which reminds me, the pain from before has really receded right now.

"Shhh, lower your voice. I'm getting you out of here," the man whispers to me.

I look at him shocked, "why would you do that? Aren't you the ones who kidnaped me before locking me up!?" I say, while eyeing the man suspiciously. Getting me out of here sounds very counterproductive, or of course, this could be one of Team Rocket schemes.

"I'm done with Team Rocket," the lab-coated man explains, making my eyes open wide in shock. "I've seen how much Pokemons and humans they've hurt for their own twisted gains. I was a fool to stay around for this much time."

He sounds very sincere, but as much as I want to believe him, I also can't push away the thought in the back of my mind that maybe this was some kind of plot to make me trust him.

"Now, keep quiet and follow me, we don't want to warn them of our escape. Also, don't worry, I have your bag, it wasn't touched by anyone so it should have everything inside."

I sigh in relief, at least my bag is safe. I know there is no way, I would be able to replace any of my stuff, and they are the only memory I have of 'home', even if THEY are there.

I shake the thoughts out of my head and start following the scientist in what I think would make a great labyrinth, with the number of twists and turns we are making. No, seriously, the place is so confusing, it makes me think it is built this way on purpose, a method of confusing enemies or something, I guess. But suddenly, we stop in front of a white door. I tilt my head in confusion and look at the white-coated man for an explanation.

"Wait here for a second, I'm going to delete all the data I can from the computers. I won't let this experiment be repeated again," he says, before opening the door using his ID card, or something, and entering the room.

I give a quick glance inside the room, to see a bunch of massive machines and computers. Losing my interest, I look around the hallway, only to see another door with a big sign that reads 'EEVEE PROJECT'. With my curiosity getting the better of me, I walk to it and push the door, which surprisingly opens.

Looking into the darkness that greets me inside, I find the switch on the wall at the side of the door and turn the lights on. Hearing a whimper, I snap my head to see a small Eevee locked inside a glass cage with its ears low and shaking frightened.

"What do you think you're doing?" I jump at the scientist's voice behind me.

"I'm just curious," I mumble, "and I kinda feel connected in a weird sort of way to all of these Pokemon who have been tested by Team Rocket like, like…"

"I understand, but we are really in a hurry and we can call the cops after we escape to help all of the Pokemon that Team Rocket kept here."

I understand the man's point, but as I glance at Eevee's direction, I can't help but stare at those big fearful eyes that seem to sparkle with hope. After all that was probably done to this poor Eevee its flame still shines brightly, hoping that one day it will be free and happy again.

"Please, can we just take this Eevee with us?" I beg the scientist, who looks skeptical about the suggestion.

Ok, time to pull the big cards, puppy eyes no jutsu! Well, at least I try, as it has been years since I used it. And, I smirk victoriously internally, as the lab-coated man sighs before agreeing to bring the Eevee.

Slowly, I make my way towards Eevee's cage. I keep whispering that 'everything is going to be okay' softly, while opening the cage with the key I found on the table beside it. Trying to appear as non threatening as I can I slowly grab the Eevee and hold him in my arms.

"Alright, now let's go. We don't have much time left until the others notice something is wrong," the man says, before leaving the room.

I quickly follow him, being very careful while holding Eevee, who seems to be slightly trembling. It doesn't take long before we reach a big door that the scientist opens like the others, using his ID.

I flinch, when the cold air hits my skin. Looking to the other side of the door, I smile weakly at seeing the dark sky and shining stars. It is good to be outside again, even if I'm cold, because my clothes aren't designed to protect me from cold. Now that I think about it, maybe it is intentional, to keep prisoners from escaping.

As we continue walking, following a concrete path, I suddenly start smelling the smell of salt and fish. Looking ahead, I can see that the laboratory appears to be built on a small island. Great, just great, how are we getting away from here now? As we stop on top of a hill, I see the lab-coated man searching for something in his bag,

"How are we going to get out of here now?" I can't help but ask him.

"We're flying to Professor Oak's lab, he is a powerful man and very influential in the league. He's an old friend of mine and will be able to help us." Well, that was unexpected, now I am even more convinced that I know this man from somewhere. Most probably he is a character that appeared in the anime for one episode or was an NPC of the games. Putting these thoughts aside, I start to pet the Eevee that has incredibly soft fur.

"I wanna thank you for helping me, without you I would be stuck there for who knows how long," I say genuinely. Although, I don't fully trust this man, he is getting me out of here, so that's a bonus.

The man looks up, now holding a very nostalgic red and white pokeball on his hand, before furrowing his brows. "No, I'm the one that should apologize. I killed hundreds of both Pokemon and humans to what I thought was progress, but it doesn't justify experimenting with living beings. I could have stopped this madness much sooner, but I didn't."

He sounds genuinely regretful. I can't help, but trust this stranger, who is helping me escape from Team Rocket. Although, I can feel Eevee squirming a little, when it learns that the man in front of it is one of the scientists that experimented on it.

"I can't say for the others, but to me, you don't look like a bad guy, and even though you did bad stuff, you are now helping us and trying to free them all, for that I forgive you." As I was saying that, I give him my best smile, "oh, and my name's Aaron!"

He seems shocked that I forgave him so quickly and smiles weakly, "I don't know how you can forgive me so easily after what I did to you. Your life will probably never be the same again and Team Rocket will probably do anything in their power to capture you again. But I am glad that you forgave you ever need anything, just call me and I promise to come to help you. And it is nice to meet you too, Aaron, please call me Blane" Freezing at hearing him say his name, I can't help but widen my eyes, as I now recognize the man that I hadn't before for the lack of his trademark mustache and glasses. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to notice, and Eevee only sends me a curious look, after looking shocked that I'm also one of the subjects of Team Rocket's experiments.

I give him a grin, showing my white teeth, "no problem, but let's get out of here now."

He nods, before tossing his pokeball. I gawk at the massive dragon-like creature in front of me. I know that some Pokemon are really big, but seeing one upfront is very different from simply expecting one. It also didn't help that my current child body is only about 52 inches tall (132.08 cm).

I am knocked out of my musings, when Blaine suddenly picks me up and put me on Charizard's back, which I must say, is a whole new experience. I can feel its scales under my fingers, and the heat that the fire type pokemon is emitting, which is very nice to protect me from the cold I'm feeling.

At Blane's command, Charizard beats his powerful wings and lifts into the air, while I hold for my dear life with all my strength. Although as we reach high altitudes I'm able to get more comfortable, as it appears that powerful flying types can control the wind to protect their passengers.

The ride goes on calmly and as minutes turn to hours I feel my heavy eyelids closing, while I lay on Charizard's back. It isn't long before I join Eevee in the realm of dreams.

Okay, for anyone new welcome to this story, I'm writing it as a mere hobby, so don't expect very consistent updates, please. Also, I reroute this page, it isn't INCREDIBLY better, but at least it isn't as bad as before. Anyway, thanks for reading my story and I hope you all like it.
