Chapter 6:

I woke up with my injuries feeling much better than last night, whatever Horsea did, it worked brilliantly. But although I wasn't broken anywhere anymore I can safely say that sleeping, even with a bed roll, on the rocky shore of a river open to the cold winds of the night is very uncomfortable and leaves your body sore, an experience I hope I never have to repeat again. Rapier and Milo are still sleeping despite my movements, the rough night didn't seem to perturb them as much as it did for me. Maybe they are less affected because they are Pokemon? Well that's probably it.

"Wake up you two." I called for them while softly shaking them awake. Due to their positions and Milo apparent grappling on my shirt I couldn't leave the bed roll without waking them up or putting them in their pokeballs, and I personally prefer the first method as Milo had made clear his stance in the pokeball and I don't have Rapier opinion, he is quite shy and I don't want to lose the trust I obtained during the short time we spend together.

"Uhhh" Milo groggily opened his eyes "Morning Aaron, why did you keep waking up earlier than me! It's unfair." He declared, I just ignored his question with a smile and focused on the second party member who was having more difficulties in getting up. Milo was quite the early riser and I too didn't have any real difficulties with mornings, but in the short while that Rapier has been with me he demonstrated to not be much of a morning, Pokemon? I guess.

"I don't wanna wake up…" He said in a whining tone, while being still half asleep. I can't help but think that he is extremely adorable. How can Misty hate bugs when they are like this, sure I wasn't a fan of bugs when I was in the other universe, but bug Pokemon are completely different, all that I have seen until now, only Rapier and Ash's Caterpie, are super cute.

Smiling, I picked him up and put him on my shoulder. Looking through my bag it didn't take long before I had fully prepared breakfast, we ate and enjoyed the food silently still with yesterday's events fresh in our minds. During the meal I didn't dare get up, in fear of inviting Horsea's rath. Instead I completed my analysis of Rapier food, likes and dislikes and sent it to Professor Oak via my Pokedex. It is quite useful that near cities the Pokedex can send messages, and route 3 was quite small allowing me that was still just an hour or so from Pewter to gain access.

We had finished our meal when Horsea finally decided to appear. "I see you kept your promise youngling." She said after emerging from underwater.

"Yeah, and all my injuries are mostly healed thanks to you." I replied showing my leg hat only had a small purple spot. Compared to last night it was a miracle that it healed so well, never underestimate berries in this world I guess.

"Glad to hear that, but aren't you too young to be traveling alone? I heard from some humans before that you must be 10 to be a trainer but you look quite small." My cheeks heated at that. It isn't my fault I'm small, I'm mentaly 16 for god sake! I am quite aware of my size, in the last universe I was the smallest boy in my class, so I pray that whatever I do in this universe it makes it possible for me to be taller.

"No, I can assure you I'm already 10 years old." I informed Horsea, who was looking at me with a calculative gaze.

"Yeah, Professor Oak gave you that card, an ID was it? That showed your age!" Milo kinda supported me. Thanks for trying Milo.

Horsea still didn't look completely convinced "It's just that you look so small, it is hard to believe." I cringed at that "Then are you sure you are eating alright?" She asked. I'm sure that is not the problem, damn evil genes.

"Yes, I'm eating alright, you don't have to fuss so much over it." Why was she worrying so much, we barely know each other.

"You younglings don't take care of yourselves properly nowadays, I can't help but worry." Well that is nice of her, but also a little too much. Maybe she doesn't have anyone to talk to here, or she is just naturally over-worries about everyone.

"Hey! I can take care of myself plenty!" Milo argued against Horsea. One thing I noticed is that Milo doesn't like to be called immature or childish, that's something interesting I guess.

"Did you say something?" Horsea apparently is still angry about Milo calling her a grandma. Milo shrunk away, hiding behind my leg, as Horsea's eyes turned icy cold and her voice gained a dangerous edge.

Smiling at Milo, while he messed around, I asked Horsea "Now that my injuries are healed will you let me leave?" I'm thankful for all the help Horsea provided but I need to continue to train if I plan to be able to beat the gyms and to avoid near death experiences.

She stiffened at my remark "U-uuh, I guess, just remember to restrain yourself from doing anything that could make the wound worse, like running or exercising for a while." She seemed sad that we were going. Huh, maybe I was right and she doesn't have any friends here.

"Horsea would you like to come with us?" This was a great opportunity, not only Horsea is a great Pokemon it also is the water type that I am looking for that would be perfect for beating Brock who is going to be a big challenge with my current team.

"""What""" The three Pokemon around me exclaimed at the same time.

"You have to be kidding, why would we want this old hag to come with us!" Milo protested. Noticing his error a little too late, he was sent flying into the cold water of the river by a very frightening Horsea.

"Humpf!" Milo should just learn to not say things like that so carelessly in front of Horsea. After she was satisfied taking her 'revenge' Horsea seemed to calm herself and turned to me, seemingly ignoring everything that just transpired. "But what do you mean with me coming with you?"

"It's just that you seem lonely here, and I would love to have you going together with us on our journey." I gave her a smile.

She seemed to think it through before answering "Well, I guess I can't refute that, and I can't help but worry that if you kids don't have anyone there to take care of you, you'll all end up getting in trouble or something." That hurt my pride, but there is nothing I can say against it, as our first encounter was exactly with me almost dying.

Giving her a board smile I excitedly exclaimed "Great! Well then I better introduce ourselves properly. My name's Aaron, The one on my shoulder is Rapier, and the one you threw inside the river is Milo." I explained as Milo grugilly got out of the river with his fur soaked, and a depressed expression. "I don't know about you, but I would prefer to call you by a name instead of your species name, it's that alright?"

"I myself don't mind." She swam closer to us seemingly lost in thoughts. "After I lived for a long time I never got a human name, you probably already know Aaron, but we Pokemon don't need names, we instinctively know who we are calling even if our 'names' are the same." I already thought that it worked somewhat like that, but it is nice to have confirmation, with Pokemon not needing names there had to be a way for them to recognize each other without confusion.

"But do you have something in mind that you want to be called?" I asked Horsea.

"I was born in a 'Dragon Shire' or at least it was what the humans called it. There me and my brothers and sisters had a person who cared for us, her name was Kayda, in her memory I wish to be called after her." That's interesting, I know there is the Johto Dragons Den, but I don't think that Horsea is talking about it, since it is not only quite far from here, as well as I don't remember the Dragons Den having a person named Kayda. But all these arguments could be annulled with the fact that Horsea is quite old and not only could she have traveled far, as well as depending on how old she really is, this Kayda could already be long gone, and never made an appearance in the anime or game.

"Then Kayda it is. Welcome to the group!" I cheerfully said with a grin. This is nice, Kayda will greatly boost our strength, I just hope there isn't the need to trade to evolve her into Kingdra when the time comes. Evolving through trading sounds idiotic and since it can't be achieved naturally it is inprobable that it is the only way to evolve Seadra. Anyway I should remember to look into it in the future.

"W-welcome." Rapier also greeted her. For some reason he didn't seem as uncomfortable around her, as he was when we first met, but that could probably be because we had attacked him before, or there is simply another reason that because I'm not yet that familiar with him, I can't understand.

Milo was simply brooding in the corner and ignored Kayda, his wet fur isn't helping his mood as well. I don't understand why he doesn't like Kayda so much, although she is pretty brutal when angry, she is a nice Pokemon. I just hope they will come to an understanding.

Picking up one empty pokeball from my bag I softly touched the button on Kayda's forehead, which made the pokeball suck the her with a red light. The ball shaked three times before letting out the now familiar sound proving a successful capture. Smiling widely I let out Kayda, who decided to accommodate herself inside one of the free side pouches of my bag, and we set out to start training again to prepare for the gym battle.

We had been training for three days preparing for the coming match with Brock. Milo focused more in learning new moves and with his hard effort he was able to successfully master Swift, Double Kick and Dig, which was quite the interesting experiment that showed that as long as he trained and knew how the move worked, he could probably learn some or any egg and TM/HM moves. Rapier trained his body to grow stronger and also was able to master Bug Bite which was nice, since I was afraid that if he evolved, he wouldn't be able to learn it anymore. And last but not least Kayda proved to already have a decent movepool with Bubble, Smokescreen, Leer and Water Gun. She passed our training sessions mostly fussing over us until I decided to try and help her learn Twister. I actually am quite excited to try and see if she can learn all of horseas's egg moves, which are quite good and extensive, Muddy Water and Signal Beam are quite the powerful moves. In the end she was able to learn Twister, and we practiced some combination moves that will certainly help in the battle against Brock.

Ater our training session I believe we can take the Pewter Gym. We have returned to the city and decided to take a rest in the Pokemon centre as it is already quite late and Horsea wont stop complaining that sleeping late is bad for my health, I also took this chance to register myself in the league challenge, something I should have already done but ended forgetting. Something I also took notice of as well is how nurse joy is almost an exact copy of the one I saw in Viridian City, with the only difference I was able to identify being the color of the cimbol in her hat, something that is a little creepy if I say so myself. The night was uneventful, but I finally got to sleep in a bed for a change which is really nice.

"Are you all ready?" I asked my Pokemon as we left the Pokemon centre. I'm quite nervous, but I have to believe in all the training and effort we've gone through.

"""Yeah!""" They all eclamed, Milo barely contained his excitement. I returned Rapier and Kayda to their Pokeballs and headed to the familiar structure of the gym, seen in the anime, with Milo on my shoulder.

I knocked at the door and waited. It is quite early so I hope I'm not causing Brock any trouble, as I know he has to take care of all his siblings alone. Thinking about it now I never saw Flint, but that may be for the fact that I stayed very little time in town and most of my time in route 3 training. My thoughts were interrupted when the door was opened and a kid barely any smaller than me opened the door. He looked to be around 9 or 8 years old and had a noticeable resemblance to Brock.

"Who are you!" He exclaimed with a critical face.

"Hello, I'm a trainer, and I would like to battle the gym leader for the Boulder Badge." I politely answered his question. By his expression it was plain as day that he didn't want me here.

"Impossible! You look like you are my age. You can't possibly be a full trainer yet!" My smile became a little more forced when those words left the boy's mouth.

"I can confirm that I am already 10 years old" I showed my ID card, because using the Pokedex for this kind of thing sounded unnecessary. "Now I would like to know if the gym leader is here to have a gym match?"

The kid looked ready to say something against me when another voice sounded from inside. "Forrest, who is it at the door?" And not long after Brock appeared beside the now identified as Forrest, if I'm not wrong he is the oldest after Brock in the family.

"Just a kid that is saying he wants to battle you." Forrest answered begrudgingly.

Brock turned to look at me before saying "As the gym leader of Pewter gym I accept your challenge, now how many badges do you currently have?" Now that is something interesting that I was already expecting, Ash really didn't come prepared for the gyms and not wanting to make a fool of myself I did a quick research on the topic before coming. The difficulty of the gym varies with the quantity of badges the challenger has, which makes sense and sound more reasonable that you have to follow an exact already made sequence of gyms that have their own difficulty level.

"This will be my first badge, my name's Aaron." I replied quickly, the adrenaline and anticipation of the battle making me restless, Milo, on my shoulder, I could feel was shaking with excitement as well.

Brock got a thoughtful expression before waving his hand inviting me inside. "Alright, I'm Brock, but I would be thankful if you could wait a couple of minutes, you got here quite early and I still have to get everything ready." He explained.

"I don't mind, as you said I got here early and didn't give any notice before coming." I gave him a understanding smile and he looked thankful. I can only think that there are probably trainers that got angry or something for having to wait.

He led me to a big stadium that resembled perfectly the one shown in the anime with the field of rocks and stands on the sides, I could even see the sprinklers on the ceiling that Ash will activate when he battles Brock. Lost in thought I didn't notice Forrest walking to my side, until he asked.

"Is it the first time you saw a stadium in person?" Looking towards him, I noticed he seems less aggressive to me now.

"Yeah." I answered and gave him a friendly smile. "How is it? I mean, living in a gym?" That is something that interested me, maybe one day I would open my own gym somewhere, after I accomplished my dream.

"This is my own opinion, but I don't think it is that grand of a thing you are probably thinking, but I do get to see a lot of Pokemon and Pokemon battles and meet different people." He paused and took a breath. "The good and the bad." It seems he has some kind of bad personal experience, I wonder if something happened to him that wasn't in the anime? Now thinking about it it seems stupid thinking that the anime would show everything.

I hummed in acknowledgment, it is not my place to try and be a hero and solve everyone's problems, and he seems fine enough. We stayed in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes before Brock came back, now with a Pokeball belt that had two pokeballs attached.

"Thanks for waiting, I'm ready now." He said getting in the gym leader side of the field, which I noticed and went to my side.

"I read the special gym rules before so you don't need to tell me." I also gave a quick look into this kind of thing, but the 'special rules' are really not special. It is just the same rules for every oficial match with the quantities of badges the trainer has changing the difficulty and quantity of Pokemon used.

"It seems I underestimate you, nowadays the trainers rarely look into the rules before coming." I gave him a smile at the compliment. "But don't think this will make the battle any more easy, go Geodude!" He threw the pokeball that opened, releasing the rock Pokemon. Into the stadium.

Thankfully he saved Onix for last, as I want to save Kayda's energy to fight that behemoth. "Let's show them Milo, battle stance!" I called out loud. Milo jumped out of my shoulder and positioned himself in front of me ready for the battle.

"What! You're using an Eevee against Geodude!? Brother's going to squash you flat, you dwarf" Forrest shouted from the stands together with his siblings. I feel my eye twitch at his unnecessary last comment.

Ignoring that for the moment I focused back into the battlefield. "Milo lets start this with Quick Attack!" Milo shot forward with the boost in speed of the attack.

"Geodude use Tackle." Brock camly commanded from his side of the field.

I know Quick Attack will do almost no damage to Geodude, I'm only using it so Milo can quickly get close to Geodude, don't giving it time to prepare. "Milo Double Kick!" I shouted when Milo got close enough, taking both Brock and Geodude by surprise. Withouse enough time to react Milo was able to hit two powerful kicks on Geodude, who was sent rolling backwards.

"It seems you had a trick up your sleeve." He said "But don't think this will work twice, Geodude Rollout!" Geodude started rolling forwards towards Milo.

"Milo, stop him with Swift!" Stars shot out of Milo's tail and struck the rolling Geodude creating a cloud of smoke. Sadly, I underestimated Geodude and am caught by surprise when it appears it is not very affected with the attack and strikes Milo tossing him away.

"You'll need more to defeat my Pokemon rock hard defence." Brock states while watching the battle.

Gritting my teeth I command Milo "Milo, Swift again, but this time on the ground around you." Milo, without hesitation, shot a group of stars, but this time they spread and fell around, creating a big, improvised smokescreen. "Now Milo, to the ground!" I hope he understands this command, that I said in such a way, hoping Brock gets caught in surprise when it hits.

Geodude entered the cloud of sand without stopping to roll. Both Brock and I, waited patiently for the smoke to clear, sweat falling down from my forehead at the tension of the moment. The sand finally cleared and I'm relieved to see Milo understood what I wanted him to do, as in the field Geodude was alone, with only a hole to signify where Milo had gone. Brock seemed to quickly understand what happened and was about to command Geodude, but it was too late as Milo shot out of the earth hitting Geodude with the super effective move.

"Geodude!" He exclaimed in shock.

Not letting the opportunity slip I continued without giving Brock time to compose himself "Milo finish with Double Kick!" Milo hit the consecutive kicks that were enough to faint the opposing Pokemon. "Yeah! Milo you did great!" I exclaimed happy with our victory.

"Of course I did." Milo, maybe a little too smug, commented. "I was like bam bam, and he was like, don't hurt me!" He said making voices and acting a very exaggerated and creative version of the battle.

Lathing at him messing around, I picked him up and put him on my shoulder. "Yeah, yeah, but you rest for now, the next battle is Kayda's." I said while patting my proud fluff ball.

Looking back to the field I noticed that Brock already returned his fainted Pokemon. "That was a good strategy Aaron, you definitely caught me by surprise with your last attack, that Dig move was well thought." My cheeks heated at the compliment and I got a big smile on my face, proud of our work. To say the truth I was quite scared his Geodude would have Magnitude so I was planning on trying to avoid using Dig.

"Thanks, we worked real hard for Milo to learn these moves." He nodded at that with a serious expression.

"But now is the real test, go Onix!" The giant rock pokemon was released and shouted a loud roar that echoed in the stadium. The pokemon makes me remember Blane's Charizard, that was the biggest Pokemon I had seen until now. I wonder how Blane is doing, maybe I can ask Professor Oak before leaving Pewter.

Leaving my thoughts I picked up Kayda's pokeball and tossed it into the battlefield. The small seahorse looked almous a joke compared with the giant snake towering in front of her. "Kayda Battle stance!" I said as she was released.

"Interesting, I see you have brought a water type." Brock commented on my Pokemon choice.

"Don't underestimate Kayda for her small size, or you'll regret it thoroughly." I informed him with a confident smile. I personally know the strength of Kayda's Water Gun, and know that it shouldn't be taken as a joke.

"I will not, but you better prepare yourself, I'm not going to hold back this time." He said from his side of the field. "Onix Rock Pollish." Onix roared as its body faintly glowed.

Directly for the stats boosts I see, and Kayda doesn't have any, this is going to be hard. "Kayda Water Gun." The small seahorse shot compressed water that hit the still glowing Onix making it roar in pain.

"Onix now use Dig!" Brock commanded the colossal snake who dove into solid ground creating a tunnel.

"Kayda spread Bubble!" This is a tactic I thought to difficult the movements of Onix, because while not very damaging, Bubble can stay floating for quite a while, creating a weak but still effective minefield of bubbles.

Brock stared in shock and interest at what I'm doing to the field. "Be careful Onix!" I think he was expecting that I would try to run in zig zag or something like ALL other trainers do in the anime, unless they had some kind of special training, in which they forget in the next episode. If there is something I learned watching the episodes is that it almost never works. Brock seemed to notice that the more time he waited, the more bubbles would infest the field "Onix attack!" The snake shot out of the ground below Kayda and I had nothing to do but let her take the hit. Although Onix was having quite the hard time taking little damage repeatedly by bubbles that floated freely, oh how I crave when Kayla learns Bubblebeam and she can shoot more and stronger bubbles.

But this is just the start of our plan "Kayda Twister!" Kayda used the dragon type move creating a small sized hurricane that headed towards the rock snake. Unfortunately for the Onix the Twister attack created swirling winds around the battlefield that made the light bubbles that were simply floating around before get sucked by the small hurricane's power and add to its dedliness.

Brock now a little desperate shouted to Onix "Quick Onix, use Harden!" The rock snake used Harden to try to endure the deadly Twister surrounded by bubbles, who hit it directly and made it roar in pain. The attack dissipated to show a still standing, but very hurt and exhausted Onix.

"Brock, Onix is very exhausted and can't win the battle, can we end here?" I said because I didn't want to hurt Onix anymore and I know how much Brock loves his Pokemon, also because I could already see Forrest and his siblings heading towards me to stop me from hurting Onix anymore. Brock gained a grateful look and nodded while returning his Onix.

"Great work Kayda! That worked perfectly." I complimented the small seahorse and picked her up in my hand. This was quite the overwhelming victory for Kayda, maybe the Bubble, Twister combo was a little overkill. I can't help but be proud of her, for all the effort we put into mastering these combinations moves, but it really did pay off.

"You and your Pokemon worked really well. Here Aaron, you deserve the Boulder Badge." Brock said while offering the familiar badge, that I picked up and stored into my badge case, that I had bought while registering for the gym challenge.

"Thanks Brock! It was a great battle." I exclaimed happily with a grin. First badge acquired, now seven to go.

He nodded in acknowledgment. I was bright out of my thoughts when Forrest aprothed me. "I guess you aren't that bad, dwarf." he said with a smirk. I'm sure I can feel my eye twitching at the again unnecessary comment."

"I'm not a dwarf! I'm taller than you!" I exclaimed indignantly.

"Hardly, and you are older than me too." He continued, still wearing that smirk on his face. I decided to maintain the rest of dignity I still have and simply walked away.

Coming back to the Pokemon centre I gave Milo and Kayda to nurse Joy and decided to spend this time to relax with Rapier. Since Rapier prefers less crowded places we decided that a good place would be the library. On the last days I discovered that Rapier got an interest in books, which is interesting as he is a Pokemon and all, but everyone to their tastes, so I decided to try and teach him to read. It's an activity that both of us enjoy and helps us become closer, so why not. Currently he is at the very basic level of learning the alphabet and I can't help but think how adorable he looks trying to figure out the letters.

"...This is a F right?" Rapier asked me from my side while pointing his stinger towards a big F that was printed on the open page of the book.

"That's right." I think I'm already getting used to the stares we are receiving from doing this. Now I don't know if it is because I'm trying to teach a Weedle to read, or because it looks like I can understand what the Weedle is saying. Thankfully no one approached us, or they might think I'm crazy, which in that case I'm certainly not thankful.

Looking at the time I noticed that Milo and Kayda are probably already fully healed. "Rapier we better go back now." He looked at me a little disappointed "Don't worry we can continue later." His mood seemed to improve, and we left the library after putting back the boks we were reading.

We had just walked out of the library when a group of three boys looking like the most generic bullies came towards me "Hey, are you the kid trying to teach your Pokemon to read?" The middle one asked with a scowl on his face.

I already know where this is going and I don't like it "Yeah, what of it?" I asked back.

The three boys smirked evilly "You must be stupid, Pokemon are just dumb animals, they can't understand things things like that." They laughed together. "And a Weedle? Why do you have such worthless Pokemon."

Now I got a little angry, and I could feel Rapier becoming more agitated on my head. "Don't say that! Pokemon were proven to be just as intelligent as humans, and every Pokemon is equally great and special." I exclaimed to them.

They didn't seem to like that as the leader sneered. "Like someone is going to listen to some little dumb kid."

"Battle me then, your Pokemon against my Weedle." All three boys' smiles grew at my challenge. That was probably what they were going for. They probably thought I was some kid with no battle experience that they could extort money.

"I'll show you your place kid. This Pokemon is from another region that my father bought, you don't have a chance." The leader held a dusk ball in his hands.

"Show him boss!" The other two boys shouted when we had reached a small open stadium for battles inside the city.

The leader smirked and threw his pokeball that released a Poochyena. For a moment there I was worried the Pokemon was something very strong but this is perfect for Rapier, let's show him why you don't mess with bugs. Picking Rapier from my head I'm surprised to see the determined expression in his face, it seems he won't let those who insulted his family go unpunished. "Can you do this Rapier?" He seemed a little hesitant, but after he looked back at the smirking boy he got a determinate expression and nodded to me. I put him on the floor and he headed in front of me eyeing his opponent seriously.

"Let's show this kid who's boss Poochyena, use Bite." The leader called out to his Pokemon. The Poochyena started to run towards Rapier with its fags glowing an ominous dark collor.

"Rapiers use String Shot on their legs!" Rapier shot a string towards the running Poochyena, who jumped to the side to avoid it. Unfortunately for the Poochyena it wasn't quick enough and some of the string wrapped around one of its front paws.

A scowl appeared in the boy's face "Poochyena, ignore it, it's just one string of a weak Weedle. Continue with Bite and destroy that stupid bug." The boy commanded. Well that is where the boy is wrong. Rapier has been training to strengthen his body extensively, and now with a strong pull he made Poochyena go flying and hit the floor. "Poochyena!" The boy shouted.

"Well done Rapier, now use Poison Sting!" Rapier released the string and shot himself against the still down Poochyena with the stinger on his head pointed forward.

The boy seemed to start panicking when he saw his Pokemon start to lose the battle "Poochyena get up quick! Use Tackle!" The Poochyena tried to get up and threw himself in an improvised Tackle against the incoming missile that was Rapier. Though its efforts were desperate and didn't do almost any damage to Rapier.

"Rapier Use Bug Bite!" Rapier that was now above the weakened Poochyena sank his fangs causing it to faint with the super effective move. "You did it Rapier!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"How could I have lost to a Weedle!" The leader of the gang of generic bullies screamed in anguish. My satisfied smile only grew when the boy returned his Poochiena and paid me the normal ₱100 for winning the battle with an angry face. "You'll pay for this kid." He said before leaving with his underlings.

I turned to Rapier with a big smile "You did it Rapier! You won your first battle, I told you are strong!" He let out a joyful and proud cry before he started to glow a white bluish color. My eyes glued on the incredible process as I felt the weight in my hands increasing. The shine of the energy of evolution is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and I felt a little sad when the process ended. But this is a happy moment, Rapier just evolved! Looking at my hand I see the green Kakuna and smile happily "You evolved Rapier!" I knew he was going to evolve soon with how quickly the Beedrill line evolved, but it doesn't change that I am extremely proud of my shy bug. Rapier just made a Kakuna sound? And closed his eyes. I guess since he is in the cocoon stage he will be much less active like Ash's Metapod.

Getting up I returned to the Pokemon centre to retrieve Milo and Kayda, who I'm sure will both be overjoyed at Rapier's evolution. Now that I finished everything in Pewter I guess I should start preparing for my journey inside Mt. Moon, sadly I promised Ash and Misty that I would meet them in Pewter City, meaning I'm stuck here for some more days. I guess some more training wouldn't hurt, Milo could learn Bite for fighting against psychic or ghost types, and I can't wait for Kayda to learn Bubblebeam so we can improve her combination moves.
