Third Person's POV
Camilla stood in a dark room, the only source of light came from the moon shining through a window high on the wall. She quickly noticed she wasn't alone.
"Hello?" Cami questioned, but the figure in the shadows didn't reply. It just stepped into the moonlight so she could see who it was. Cami's breath caught in her throat when she saw who it was.
It was Jessica.
She was pasty and deathly pale. Her eyes held none of the kindness they had when she was alive. Instead, they were filled with hate.
She was wearing the nightdress that she was wearing when she died, and just like when she died, she had a large pool of blood that stained the stomach of it.
"This is your fault. You should've saved me. Why didn't you save me?" Jessica questioned, fear clear in her voice. "I-I'm sorry." That's all Cami could manage to say, the overwhelming feeling of guilt crashing back to her.
Cami's eyes widened as her cousin stalked closer to her. "You should've died, not me. You deserve to die. I had a future, a family! You stole that all from me! This is your fault!" Jess screamed.
Tears streamed down Cami's face at her words, each of which felt like a slap to the face. She continually stepped backwards as Jess stalked towards her. "I-I'm s-sorry." Cami didn't know what else to say.
"I don't want an apology! I want revenge! It's your turn to die." Jessica said and burst into flames, rushing towards her. Cami squeezed her eyes shut as a scream erupted from her mouth.
Cami shot up, opening her eyes and breathing heavily. Her breath was shaky and so were her hands. She took in her surroundings and remembered where she was.
She was in the backseat of the Impala. Sam and Dean both awake in the front seat and Dean was driving. "Are you okay?" Dean asked, looking in the rear view mirror at the girl, his voice and expression concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Cami answered, hoping her voice didn't betray her. It sounded a lot stronger than she felt, which relieved her. She didn't want either Dean or Sam worrying about her. She could take care of herself, she had been for years. She wanted them to just focus on Sam and how he was.
"Another nightmare?" Dean asked her. One of the nights in the past week, Cami had been having a nightmare and was screaming in her sleep. Dean had shaken her awake and she begrudgingly told him about her nightmares.
Cami didn't answer his question, just cleared her throat and looked downwards. "Do you wanna drive for a while?" He asked her and before she could answer, Sam let out a small laugh.
"What?" Dean questioned, glancing over at his little brother. "Dean, your whole life, you've never once asked anyone that." Sam answered.
"I just thought she might want to. Either of you could use it, honestly." Dean replied, shrugging. "I'm good, but thanks." Cami answered, shaking her head. She wasn't in the right mental state to drive right now.
"Look, man. You're worried about us, and thanks for that. I get it, and I can't speak for Cami, but I'm perfectly okay." Sam told him, but it was obvious to the two twenty-six-year-olds that he was lying.
"Me too." Cami spoke, also completely lying. But like previously mentioned, she didn't want anyone to worry about her. They had bigger issues, like finding John. "Mm-hm." Dean hummed, not believing either of them.
"All right, where are we?" Sam asked as he unfolded a map. "We are just outside of Grand Junction." Dean answered and Cami leaned her head against the window. "You know what? Maybe we shouldn't have left Stanford so soon." Sam said and Cami squeezed her eyes shut.
She didn't want to think about Jessica. She didn't know if that made her selfish, but every time she thought about her cousin she felt an intense guilt and depression burning in her gut.
She continued listening to their conversation intently, needing something to focus on so she wouldn't fall asleep again since her eyes were shut.
"Sam, we dug around there for a week. We came up with nothing. If you wanna find the thing that killed Jessica—" Dean said and Cami flinched. It still really hurt to hear her name. "We gotta find Dad first." Sam finished Dean's thought.
"Dad disappearing, and this thing showing up again after twenty years? It's no coincidence. Dad will have answers. He'll know what to do." Dean told them and Cami sighed. She sure hoped so.
"It's weird, man. These coordinates he left us, this Blackwater Ridge. . ." Sam started, but trailed off. "Yeah, what about it?" Dean questioned.
"There's nothing there. It's just woods. Why is he sending us to the middle of nowhere?" Dean and Sam exchanged a look as they passed a sign welcoming them to Lost Creek, Colorado.

Dean pulled the car into the parking lot of the ranger station and then parked. Sam got out and Dean turned back to look at the girl in the backseat.
"Hey, Cami, you don't have to come in if you don't feel up to it." Dean told her, but she shook her head. "Dean, I'm fine." She told him and they both got out of the car. Then the three of them went inside and looked around.
"It's cut off by these canyons here. Rough terrain, dense forest, abandoned silver andold mines all over the place." Sam spoke after a few minutes of looking around, looking down over a 3-D map of the area.
"Dude, check out the size of this iggin' bear." Dean said, looking at a photo of a dead bear and a hunter. Sam and Cami looked over at him before they walked over. "And a dozen or more grizzlies in the area. It's no nature hike, that's for sure." Sam spoke.
"You three aren't planning to go out near Blackwater Ridge by any chance?" The hunters turned around to see a ranger talking to them.
"Oh, no, sir. We're environmental-study majors from UC Boulder. Just working on a paper." Sam thought quickly on his feet. "Recycle, man." Dean pumped his fist in the air and Cami rolled her eyes at him subtly.
"Bull. You're friends with that Haley girl, right?" The ranger said and Cami decided to roll with the punches.
"Yes, sir–" Cami looked at his badge and read his name out loud, "Ranger Wilkinson." The ranger chuckled to himself.
"Well, I will tell you exactly what I told her. Her brother filled out a backcountry permit saying he wouldn't be back from Blackwater until the 24th. So it's not exactly a missing persons, now, is it? Tell that girl to quit worrying. I'm sure her brother's just fine." The ranger said before turning and starting to walk away.
"We will. But do you know what would really help? Showing her a copy of that backcountry permit. You know, so she could see her brother's return date." Dean spoke and the Ranger just looked at him.

Dean chuckled as the three of them left the Ranger Station, a copy of that guy's backcountry permit in his hand.
"What are you cruising for a hookup or something?" Sam questioned his brother, who glanced over at him in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"The coordinates point to Blackwater Ridge. So what are we waiting for? Let's just go find Dad. I mean, why even talk to this girl?" Sam asked as the three of them got to the car.
"I don't know, maybe we should know what we're walking into before we actually walk into it." Dean answered, giving his brother a face. "What?" Sam questioned defensively.
"Since when are you all 'shoot first, ask questions later,' anyway?" Dean asked his brother. "Since now." Sam answered before getting into the car.
Cami watched the interaction silently and glanced at Dean before the two of them followed Sam into the car.
