So lately I've really wanted a good Solangelo "Will picks up Nico from school/visits Nico at school" fic, but I just haven't found one exactly like I wanted, so I wrote one! It might be a little cliche but I'll try not to make it too predictable.

Enjoy!

Nico di Angelo was known as the school's bad boy, for obvious reasons. Aside from the fact that he always wore black, was always in a somewhat bad mood, and would never step down from a fight (Pretty much always severely injuring whoever it was that decided they wanted to fight him), he was also a massive heart breaker. Almost all the girls in the school had a crush on him at one point or another. Why wouldn't they? For starters, he was extremely handsome. With his wavy black hair that always looked messy, though it only added to his visual appeal, and his toned muscles, though they were never seen very often since he always wore a jacket, and his face that was sculpted like that of a god. He certainly was easy on the eyes. Not to mention the moments where someone would catch a glimpse of when his tough facade broke down. Like when he would mutter song lyrics to himself or when a smile could be seen spreading across his face as a reaction to whatever it was on his phone. Only problem was, he never went on a date with anyone. Ever. Whenever someone asked him out, it was always the same response. "Sorry." He would say. "I'm already with someone." Nobody knew who this "someone" was either. Some people assumed he was just making excuses, but the majority of people believed him. He was gorgeous, it would be shocking for him to not be someone, and what other reason could he possibly have for turning down all the girls that came his way.

Kayla was one of the students who believed he was simply making excuses.

Nico was grabbing his books from his locker at the end of the school day when she approached him.

"Hey Nico." She said, twirling her hair around her finger.

Nico sighed before looking over at her. "What's up Kayla."

"So... I was wondering. I don't have anything planned for tonight, and I was thinking we could go catch a movie?"

Nico looked her over once. Her brown curls looked like they had a whole can of hairspray keeping them together, her face looked like a cake with how much makeup she had on, her shirt was unbuttoned quite a bit, and her shorts were pulled up a bit higher than they were designed to be. He had to physically restrain himself from pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Uh... I appreciate the offer... but... I'm already in a relationship with someone."

Kayla just let out a laugh. "Oh please. Everyone know's that you're just making that up. And even if you aren't, what she doesn't know won't hurt her."

Nico was starting to get annoyed. Couldn't these damn girls just leave him alone for once. "I'm not going to cheat. And either way, I'm not interested in you. At all."

"Oh come on. Stop lying to yourself. Of course you like me. Everyone likes me. Now come on, we can head there right now."

He was trying really hard not to snap at her. 'try not to get too mad at school alright Neeks?' He could remember Will saying to him the day before school began. 'Don't want you accidentally summoning a skeleton army or anything of the sort and turning into a literal puddle of darkness.' He took a deep breath. "I already told you. I'm. Not. Interested. Just leave me alone."

She giggled. "Wow. You're hot when you're like this. Now come on Angel, there's a showing in about 20 minutes that we can make it to!" She grabbed onto his arm and leaned into his side.

That was the breaking point. NOBODY called him Angel. NOBODY touched him without his permission. NOBODY, not even any of his friends, was allowed to do either of those things. NOBODY. NOBODY except for Will Solace.

Nico ripped his arm away from Kayla's grip and shoved her away from him. "You have NO right! No right to call me Angel, and especially no right to touch me. I've already told you!" He took a couple steps closer to her as she cowered away. While she may have found his anger attractive earlier, she certainly didn't now. "I'M. NOT. INTERESTED." He was actually shouting now. When Kayla's back hit the lockers, he slammed his hand down only a couple inches to the side of her face, making a bang that echoed down the hallway. He leaned down to directly meet her eyes and growled out, "Now leave. Me. Alone."

Kayla finally scampered away, letting out what sounded suspiciously like a whimper, and Nico let out a sigh as he leaned against the lockers. He needed to see Will. It had been too long.

It was almost 10 o'clock when Nico finally finished all his work for school and Iris-messaged Will. They had been texting each other nearly very day with the monster-proof phones the Hephaestus kids (Read: Leo Valdez) made for them, but it wasn't the same as being able to talk face to face.

"Hey Neeks! What's up? I wasn't expecting you to Iris me!" Will was as sunny and smiley as ever, and it made Nico relax and smile.

"Hey Will. I just..." He let out a small sigh. "I just missed you I guess. I haven't actually seen you in person in so long and everyone at school has been super annoying and I hate them all. I even yelled at a Mortal girl today when she asked me out..."

"Oh Neeks." Will's face slipped into a frown. Nico hated making Will sad. "I miss you too Angel. Look on the bright side though," Nico let out a scoff. Leave it to the absolute sunshine that was his boyfriend to always see the good side of things. "We'll get to see each other again during your school break!"

"That's nearly two months away though Will! I just wish I could see you sooner..."

"I know sunshine, so do I."

They both sat in silence for a few minutes, just taking in the appearance of the other and both wishing they could see each other again.

"You should probably go to bed Will. No use if the head healer of camp is too tired to function." Nico spoke quietly, sadness evident in his voice.

"Yeah. You're probably right." The sadness in Will's voice matched Nico's. "Hey, Neeks?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

Nico's mouth settled into a small smile. "I love you too Will."

Nico was in a bad mood the next day. Granted, he was always in somewhat of a bad mood, but today it was worse than usual. His conversation with Will last night only made him miss his boyfriend even more than he already did, and Kayla still wouldn't leave him alone, so when the end of the school day finally rolled around he was more than happy to leave. He wanted nothing more than to get home quickly and sleep for as long as he possibly could, so when he walked through the doors of the school and was met by a huge crowd of students whispering about something he was less than thrilled.

'Seriously? I just want to get home. What in the world is everyone standing around here for?'

He heard a couple girls next to where he was standing whispering to each other "He's so hot!" "I hope he's single!" "Do you think I have a chance if I asked him out?" and Nico had to roll his eyes. Of course. There was some random hot guy. Big whoop. He just wanted to get home.

When he did finally manage to push his way through the crowd, he froze. Right in front of him, leaning against the side door of a sleek black car, was none other than Will Solace.

"Will?" Nico breathed out, right before their eyes met. As soon as they did, Will's face split into a smile that put the sun to shame, and all of Nico's self control flew out the window, forgetting all about the crowd of students around them both. Before his mind fully caught up with his actions, he had run over to will and captured him in a hug, his face pressed into his boyfriend's shoulder and eyes beginning to tear up from happiness.

"What are you even doing here Will?" Nico asked once he removed his head from Will's shoulder to look up at his face. "Shouldn't you be at camp?"

Will let out a small laugh and leaned down to give Nico a short, but extremely sweet, kiss. "Well, after talking last night and realizing how much you missed me and how much I missed you, I wanted to come and see you as soon as possible. Don't worry, I got Chiron's permission to leave camp, and a couple of my siblings are covering the med-bay for me."

Nico smiled before burying his face back into Will's neck. "Gods, I missed you so much."

Will let out another laugh at his boyfriend's muffled voice. "I know you did sunshine, I did too. Now come on! I only got permission to leave camp for this afternoon, so let's make the most of it!"

If everyone in the crowd of students around them was frozen in shock, both Will and Nico were too caught up in each other to notice.
