I am not used to reply to the review thingy as I usually write on websites where I can instantly reply to people. Though I will try it the FF way and reply by using beginning part as some sort of reply to important questions.
I am really happy about the support from you guys and some reviews stating how much you like the story makes me happy. So I am already thanking you guys for the future.
RJay Fame: Probably, already thinking of planning something.
Cthulu rex: I read a couple of Ron stoppable FF and there are definitely sadder beginnings out there. Or at least I hope.
CajunBear73: Yeah, I try to characterize a story with abilities and weaknesses. Then I try and act according to his desires. Though sometimes they have to act out of the box as everyone will do sometimes in their life, I will try to keep it as logical as this story can get.
Kingnarutoxqueenkushina: I probably have something planned for Yori as well.
Chapter 2 Watery Moon
"Eh? Why am I crying? Shouldn't I be happy of KP finally finding someone that is worthy of her love?" trembled Ron Stoppable with a seemingly steady voice that turned into a full-blown sobbing at the end.
At the sound of crying, a naked mole-rat woke up and glanced towards his friend.
"Hnk, Sad?" spoke the naked mole-rat called Rufus.
At that sentence, Rufus hopped onto Ron Stoppable's shoulder and squeezed his cheek in a manner that reminded Ron of a hug.
"I appreciate the concern buddy." Smiled Ron and put Rufus back onto the bed.
"Wanna eat something? Eating will make me happy…. I hope so…" said Ron, clearly trying to cheer himself up and allow Rufus to not worry that much.
"Hnk! Cheese!" replied Rufus in a happy voice.
Wearing his Pajamas, Ron moved towards his kitchen.
The only thing that greeted him was the dark and silent house.
His parents were away in some kind of mission to travel and have as many honeymoons as possible.
And to be honest, Ron was rather glad that his parents weren't in the house.
"At least they don't witness me crying over something so small." mumbled Ron, still wiping away his eyes that were formerly filled with tears.
Glancing towards the mirror as well as the kitchen clock that was hanging from the wall, Ron formed his usually happy going smile and spoke:
"At least it is Friday so no school. Or should I say Saturday?"
At that small joke, Ron giggled inwardly and continued to make his night snack.
For Rufus, he made a small cheese snack that was easily made by combining a couple of cheese variants into a small cheese salad.
In order to feel warmth under all the emptiness in his chest, he made hot chocolate milk and a simple sandwich.
Sipping on the hot chocolate milk made Ron feel much better.
The sweetness and warmth reminded him of the old times.
"Hey, buddy. I… I… am afraid that one day KP is going to leave me far behind. I mean look at me. I am nothing special and besides, Josh is way better than me."
"Hnk, Ron best!" replied the naked mole Rat Rufus with a defying tone.
For the first time since this night, a genuine smile appeared on Ron's face as he petted Rufus and finished his nightly snack.
Considering the fact that it was only a little bit after midnight, Ron opened his PC in order to forget the whole ordeal of Kim Possible and Josh Mankey.
He started Zombie Mayhem 2 and just wanted to sink into the slaughter of the mindless Zombie bots but something stopped him.
It was the memory he commonly heard from the whispers of the gossip people in school.
"Unbelievable that Kim Possible has such a friend. I mean… look at him."
"Isn't this simply a man child accompanying the head cheerleader?"
"She probably feels sorry for him."
"I mean he's not even smart."
"He's lucky to even be friends with her."
"Can't he simply grow up? I bet that they are going to go different ways after graduation."
"I heard that Kim already received a lot of scholarships. There were even some top colleges out there!"
It might seem like ordinary gossip that surrounded Ron. After all, his school had a rather fixed hierarchy system. The so-called Food Chain.
And in this so-called Food Chain, Ron Stoppable, the sidekick of Kim Possible was on the lowest of bottoms.
Compared to Kim Possible who was easily on the top.
Straight A student, Head of the cheerleaders, beautiful and helping the people with whenever she could. In her words: No Biggie.
Even if her desire for helping people took the step of saving the world from villains, it was easy for Kim Possible. After all, for her everything is possible.
Normally, this talk wouldn't shake Ron in even the slighted manner.
After all, he had Kim as his best friend. And to be honest, he didn't need more.
But now? Ron realized that he was easily disposable once Josh Mankey took his role as a sidekick.
He was barely helping and mostly relied on Kim to finish the villains.
He was more of a distraction.
Although he remembered a single instance where he defeated the villain.
He even acquired his own foe that hated him with all of his soul. And all of that wasn't even that long ago.
Shaking his head, Ron Stoppable thought back to his encounter with Lord Monty Fisk.
Also known as Monkey Fist, a master in Tai Shing Pek Kwar or otherwise known as Monkey Kung-Fu.
With a single memory of that fight appearing in his head, Ron shuddered as he had a huge phobia of monkeys or nonhuman primates in general.
It was only one of the many Phobia's he acquired in his childhood.
Though back to the topic of him being gossiped upon.
Back in the days, Ron Stoppable didn't care. He really didn't care. He felt happy with KP.
But now under this Halloween ordeal, Ron Stoppable agreed with the people that talked about him.
'KP is such a great girl. Beautiful, strong, and smart. Even though she never joined the so-called Food Chain. She is amongst the top. She will never like me more than a best friend.'
At that realization, his eyes started to tear once more.
But this time, Ron Stoppable ignored the flowing water that came out of his eyes.
A calm and soothing feeling soon overwhelmed his body as with the tears came the sweat.
And with the sweat, came the calm and soothing feeling that everyone felt once they realized something that seemed essential for their lives.
The tears started to dry up. Sunken eyes were the consequence of Ron's crying and with a few wipes of his hands, the last tear disappeared from his eyes.
Making himself another hot chocolate milk, Ron watched how Rufus fell asleep with the full stomach.
Thus with one step after another, Ron climbed the stairs. Back into his sleeping room where he put Rufus onto the mini bed he created all these years ago.
Though he himself didn't go to sleep. Even if his body really wanted to go to sleep. It craved rest under this emotional storm that happened this night.
But Ron Stoppable had a more important mission that had to be taken seriously.
Not because of KP, not because of something others forced onto him, instead, it was something that he realized with his own experience.
And now, he would take the first small step towards the direction.
Ron felt an ironic smile appearing on his lips as he sought out to do what many people wanted him to do.
But now he would actually do it.
Activating his Computer, Ron sat down and went online.
He ignored the video game that he downloaded and the many geek things like Roleplaying, Comics, and Movies on his Pc and went towards the Internet.
He needed advice from people. And where better to find it than the Internet?
Albeit it was uncommon, there was a huge quell of information in it. Like online libraries.
And Ron Stoppable is going to use this to his advantage.
For his goal? Was to change into something better.
