(Nowadays I would NEVER allow myself to publish a chapter this short. Back when this story was originally published, the way I wrote these chapters was I wrote little snippets here and there whenever ideas came to me. Sometimes they made it into the published chapters and sometimes they didn't. So, at the end of the week or month or whatever, this was all I had that I wanted to publish. Nowadays everything that I write gets published eventually in some form or other even if I did write little bits of it here and there. I guess it's due to me understanding what I'm doing and what my goals are. Back then I didn't know what my goals were, so I didn't know what I was doing... And didn't know I didn't know what I was doing. In many ways I'm glad those times are behind me. Anyways, on to the chapter!)

Honest and Shadow were walking past Eggman's control room to find him, Orbot, and Cubot watching live television. Shadow stood beside Eggman. "Um, what are you doing?"

Honest hurtled the couch and landed beside Cubot. "Why are you watching TV in your control room for? That's not very evil."

"Don't tell me what's evil and what's not. If you really want to know, I'm conducting a scientific experiment to tell whether watching TV destroys brain cells or not."

"That explains it," Honest said bluntly.

Shadow looked at her questioningly and Eggman turned around and eyed her curiously. "Ever since Shadow's started watching those overly dramatic reality TV shows he's been acting very dull."

"What? If you start limiting my shows, I'll throw your laptop off the Sky Deck!" Shadow said, making fists at his sides.

"No! Not my pictures of you and Sonic!" Honest said. She then covered her mouth and gasped.

Shadow got red in the face. "What?" he exclaimed.

"Did I say that? What I meant to say was my videos of funny cats..." Honest said, fiddling with her hands.

Shadow looked away, trying to forget what he thought he heard. Dr. Eggman interrupted them. "No, I think his dull behavior is due to the effects of him abusing alcohol recently."

Honest looked at Shadow, confused. "It was only that one time though, right?" she asked.

Shadow forced himself to meet her eyes. "Well, um, no...?"

Honest squinted at him. "Good. 'Cause that would be foolish, you know. You're 15 even though you might not like to admit it, and that's a terrible age to be drinking."

Honest poked her head out of your computer/phone's screen. "Remember kids, drinking alcohol is no good. Just ask Shadow."

Shadow looked as if he was mad at Honest for breaking the fourth wall. Honest just smiled. So did Hearts as she was typing that.

An extremely short chapter 5! Hope you enjoyed it. ^^

(Short, yeah, no kidding :( This chapter, without my added notes, was 334 words on Wattpad. That is ridiculous. And here's to me thinking Chapter 3 with its 2,363 words was short...)
