(I can still imagine what I imagined when I wrote this part. Yet again something else I should draw art of. Also, I didn't type that part in the chapter above just now. It was part of the original chapter. I just happened to put it in parenthesis. I try not to do that nowadays since it's not that professional.)

It was a beautiful and serene Saturday morning.

The sky was as blue as Sonic's quills while the flowers were as colourful as a basket of assorted fruits.

Flickies flew from branch to branch, tweeting up a storm.

Where were Honest and Shadow on such a beautiful day?

In the middle of a dense jungle, swatting mosquitoes in search of a glowing, purple gem that may or may not even be there.

Shadow was in the lead, tearing through the foliage in a desperate attempt to find the place where Tails's plane touched down just minutes before. Honest followed closely, afraid she'd get lost if she strayed too far behind him.

Eventually they reached a clearing, the perfect runway to land a plane. One sweeping glance told Shadow and Honest that his plane was nowhere to be found.

Shadow ran out into the open. "This is just great!" he exclaimed. "Where else in this stinking maze could he land a plane like his?"

Honest absentmindedly glanced at the lake nearby. In the lake, near the bank nearest them, was one lonely piece of metal (the roof of a plane) and one yellow, two-tailed fox, finding his way back onto land.

"There he is!" Honest shouted, pointing towards the water. Shadow stopped his ranting and ran to where Honest was.

"It sure is," he said, letting out a sigh of relief. He ran down the hill towards the bank. "Yo, Tails!" he exclaimed, waving. Tails waved, too, and climbed onto the bank.

"Did Eggman send you to steal the Emerald?" Tails asked.

"Yup," Shadow then pulled his gun out of nowhere and pointed it at Tails's head. "Hand over the Emerald."

Tails handed it to Honest, who did a victory twirl as soon as she had it in her possession. Shadow smiled and lowered his gun. "No offense, but remember next time to take back-up with you when you go to search for a Chaos Emerald."

A confused Tails just stood there, nodding. "Oh, and Honest, we're going to need that other Emerald. The one powering his plane that we forgot to take last time." He jumped and homing attacked across the water, landing on the exposed roof of Tails's plane. He fished around in the water below him, pulling out the yellow Chaos Emerald. The fake emerald was also yellow. She hoped that Eggman wouldn't notice.

Honest crossed her arms and looked at Tails. "Don't worry about Dr. Eggman using them for anything bad. I'm sure Shadow wouldn't let that happen, and I personally will never let that happen."

Eventually Shadow made his way back to them. "You ready to go, Honest?"

"S-Sure," Honest said. Honest and Shadow teleported back to Eggman's base, leaving Tails behind with no means of getting back to his workshop, seeing as though his plane was at the bottom of a lake, intact, but not at all usable.

End of Chapter 6! Short, but I was still able to get a whole Emerald hunting segment. And they got two Emeralds instead of one! All around a very successful chapter.
