(Why did I use "{" and "}" in a place other than the title of the story? Hm. I guess even I have trouble following my dumb, made-up rules.)
Dropping some plot on ya! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Part 1 of an extremely vivid dream of Honest's is finally up! Enjoy!
(This is the only two-part-er that I ever finished :P Now my stories are basically all continuous. One chapter just continues into the next.)
Honest woke up in another stupid dream. At least that was what she thought it was at first. Soon, however, it was apparent to Honest that it wasn't what she had thought. The walls weren't the pale yellow of her bedroom, nor were they the green of Sonic's, the red of Shadow's, or the purple and white of school. They were metallic, plain, a dark red-violet. There were no lights in the hallway Honest was standing in, gripping the wall behind her, however it was always partially lit. By... space.
"Oh, my," Honest said under her breath, peering out the dark glass at the shapes of stars seemingly just beyond her reach.
It wasn't very unlikely that she would dream of the ARK, what with all the many times she had choked information out of Shadow and only ended up getting very vague fragments of what life on the Space Colony was like. "This dream is incredibly lucid for being about a place I have never been," she muttered to herself. She dared to stumble into the hallway when she saw a small glint or spark at the end. Honest squinted, trying to make out the shape or shapes beyond it. Suddenly she knew who it was.
The spark was metal shoes on metal ground- Shadow's shoes. He flew past her. Honest turned and chased after him, before stopping at a doorway. It was a room of failed experiments. Honest expected to see Metal and his other counterparts, but unlike Eggman, the doctor living here didn't build robots- he built lifeforms. Instead of deactivated machinery, a bat-like creature was in one container, while a few others were empty.. Two of them were open and drained.
Suddenly, from the doorway she had just came from, a group of soldiers ran inside the room, observing the walls and specimens and destroying everything. "B-b-wha?" she said, confused. The soldiers didn't seem to hear her. She slipped back into the hallway and sprinted after Shadow again.

End of part 1! Part 2 shouldn't take long- I'm only wrapping up a scene I've seen played back a thousand times. Good-bye at least for now and I hope to write you all reeeal soon!
