Been a long time, but time passes quicker than I thought.

CajunBear73: Indeed, there is a misconception. But everyone has a little bit of dirt under his shoes.

NieYanMLC: Albeit glad to see such a passionate fan, I never really consider myself to have any skill in character development. Most of my characters are a little bit bland, to be honest.

Bobtrumpet: A reveal that is rather nice, isn't it? I like such reveals where you already know the character and can guess it through elimination as there is a limited amount of possibilities.

Just a short notice, I am a big fan of consistency so if there is anything that doesn't make sense, write a review or pm me for the inconsistency. Albeit, as many characters in the cartoon are not really characterized, I am free to implement a couple of new hobbies or add a few quirks to the already existing characters.

Chapter 6 Beauty fades with Time

She wasn't smart. She knew this fact.

But Wisdom is something that even not so smart people can possess. Which, she had to a certain extend.

So it was no wonder that she couldn't be called the brightest lamp.

Though she knew that she could be proud of her beauty.

After all, it was common to see people staring at her with every possibility they could receive.

Males would stare at her, almost drooling at her slender curves, the healthy tanned skin and the face that screamed absolute beauty.

Adding onto the fact that her blond hair was as smooth and flippy (described by Ron, when he was commenting on KP hair, when he had the body of KP) as the most fake advertisement, many couldn't really believe that she was real.

Thus Females would glare at her with a rather mixed look.

Some would allow a hateful intention to be revealed, others would simply be jealous and envy her.

Others would fake laugh with her and try to get into her good graces. She detested those people.

Though there were also people that simply admired her for her beauty. She was fond of those people.

That was the life of Lonnie Rockwaller.

After all, even though she knew that she wasn't smart, it didn't mean that she was socially inept.

Instead, it was the complete opposite. She is a social genius.

Capable of discerning most people's nature and also influencing them with certain behavior of her part.

Considering the fact that she literally ruled the high school with her twin sister Connie for three years straight, it was no wonder that she could easily influence other people.

Perhaps Connie, her twin sister was way smarter than her, however, she wasn't as adept like her in the ability to influence other people.

Considering her A-student behavior it was rather rare for Connie, her twin sister, to be socially adept. She was rather blunt and clunky in the art of talking to other people.

As for her? Socializing was something that was in her blood. Almost like the ingrained instincts, her body followed in order to get whatever she desired.

Though Connie introduced some concept called Popularity Food Chain, it wasn't enough to explain the real social dynamic and Lonnie never bothered to follow it.

Even after the full three years in high school, Connie couldn't scientifically explain what Lonnie did. And thus the food chain was born. It was a sort of scientific theory for Connie to understand the social dynamics of human behavior. While Connie created a hierarchy and a system, Lonnie simply didn't bother about facts and simply followed her instincts and socialized with people.

The result? It was great for Lonnie. Did her instincts ever fail her? No, it never betrayed her.

Even after graduating from Middleton High, Lonnie didn't consider her lack of intelligence to be a problem.

Connie already suggested her to join a business college with a lot of promising man to latch upon.

This idea wasn't something Lonnie considered, but it was something that she would be willing to do.

It clearly worked as one of her aunts already followed the plan with great success.

A couple of healthy children, a couple of mansions just like where she grew up and every materialistic object of desire her aunt wanted.

Lonnie already discussed the future with her beloved twin sister, Connie.

And to be honest, Lonnie was rather envious of Connie.

Connie had the option to follow both paths. The path of their mother, the matriarch of the Rockwaller Family, and in the situation of failing, the path of their aunts.

As she wasn't that bad in the looks department.

Lonnie's mother was someone that was smart. She worked in the finance section for a couple of years and then married the man she loved.

She helped him to create a successful business as he naturally wasn't a dimwit and only needed the so-called strong woman with a good sense in social dynamics to success.

And even if the patriarch of the Rockwaller family wasn't home that often as he pursued a business in construction, the Matriarch visited her husband whenever she wanted and clearly had him trapped in her love.

Though as the love was mutual, Lonnie also desired such a future marriage and deemed it as something that could be considered an almost fairytale-like ending.

Especially after she realized what her future path would probably look like.

After graduation she clearly talked with Connie and their aunts who already successfully married a rich man.

And indeed, all of her aunts lived in mansions filled with luxury goods. All glittering and shiny.

Jewels, diamonds, silver, gold, and entire halls filled with marble.

Nevertheless their children visited private schools, had drug problems and generally were egoistic little pieces of shit.

They would look happy whenever Lonnie and Connie came to visit. Probably because of loneliness.

Apparently it was common knowledge that most men took a mistress somewhere else and completely ignored their wives due to divorce reasons.

And it was hard to cheat for them as well, after all, every man would make sure their wives wouldn't cheat and if it was the case? Say goodbye to all the riches.

However the aunts clearly tried to mask their sad lives with poor excuses.

To Lonnie? These excuses were the futile attempt of a sexy naked young woman trying to cover her body with see-through garn, protecting her body from the pervert gazes of the world.

But surprisingly, they easily fooled her sister Connie.

In order to ask for the true reason, Lonnie talked to them without her twin sister who obviously had the option to follow the path of their mother.

And it wasn't long before her aunts cracked under Lonnie's skillfully psychology pressure and guidance.

Even with the aunts that clearly saw her social play, Lonnie simply brought her divine weapon of pity:

"I am not smart. I only have my beauty. I was already here with Connie, but she clearly has the option to follow the route of mom. So tell me the truth. How is your life?"

Thus, under the guidance of a couple of aunts, Lonnie realized her future.

Living in the most amazing palace with servants, divine trips to wherever they wanted to go, and as much material things as she wanted.

But the price? Giving up her body, her mental well-being, and having no real friends in the circle. And after time, her beauty would fade and these so-called big fish she hooked would ignore her for some mistress.

Besides, the coldness of the giant castles of her aunts scared her.

No warm bonfire, no warm pictures of family trips hanging on the shiny walls, no kitchen that was decorated with school projects that ranged from silly pictures to stone magnets, to Lonnie, everything felt so cold.

Even as she continued to ask questions, Lonnie could already see her future in front of her eyes.

Even if she was dumb, imagining the future of a person was something that belonged to social dynamics.

In Lonnie's case? She was headed to the future she dreaded. The friends she possessed, the path that she tried to follow in the next couple of years and her skills all pointed to the future she didn't want.

Normally, her instincts would correlate with her brain:

I want that, so do that and influence these people to achieve it.

But now? Her instincts clearly laid out a path that wasn't something her brain agreed upon.

She didn't want such a cold future. She wanted to have a warm future where she would be happy and have a loving husband.

In the end, under all of this pressure, Lonnie decided to seek out help from her grandmother.

She should be wise enough, right? After all, she did witness the path of her daughters.

Not to mention that she was someone that also had a fulfilling marriage and clearly was also a skilled person in the social circles as she navigated through the political scene with ease.

Though Lonnie's mother had a strained relationship with her own mother, she spoke about the wisdom of her own mother. Albeit it being as sharp and painful as a stabbing spear.

Nevertheless Lonnie would be willing to hear that shark and painful guidance her grandmother would give her as long as she would gain her happy family.

After all, Beauty fades with time.
